listen to my silent prayers
words that wisper in your ears
chants as old as ancient ground
listen closely for the sound

i seem
to scream
these silent
prayers of silence
as I'm searching for
defiance
against what I was taught
it can't be right
and it is wrong
As hard as I try
I cant hold my tongue
I have to sing my silent prayers
Of something better
Than what is here
i have to fight
what i think
isn't right
i just can't beleive
what those people write
the book is wrong
it's incorrect
and i can't beleive
who follows that
the bible
what it says
isn't that reliebale
because
if it were
then my life'd be sin
my silent prayers
could not win
over any rights
there'd be no point
and i couldn't fight

So listen to my silent prayers
words that wisper in your ears
chants as old as ancient ground
listen closely for the sound

and the wisdom that carries on a ravens wings
with the enchantments that Sirens sing
these are elements of the ancient prayer
they made us equal, our sides are fare

(A/N): Let me just say this now: Not meant to offend any one. k? It's what i feel, and its what I know. this poem is about my search through religions. kind of looking for the right one. I know I mention the Bible and that does kind of pin point some people, but I've been studying the Bible in a class and I find it rather...erm, faulty i guess is the word. I know alot disagree with that but I'm not keeping my mouth shut on what I feel strongly about :)
