Link: Leader of the World Wide Button Mafia?
We all know Link, famous hero of multiple video games spanning across well over a decade and a half, but do we really know him? In answer to your question, no . Link leads a secluded life on a desert isle off the shore of Japan. He has the entire thing on constant surveillance satellites. He paranoid that the evil monsters he fought in his youth will come and attack him.
But when Link takes time off from his busy life being paranoid, he's the leader of a complicated organization also known as the Button Mafia. Little is known about the actual group, or any of its other members. They only know that someone tapped into Links surveillance cams, and had them follow him. Although this is illegal, the authorities immediately forgave the minor offender and actually commended him for his wrong doing. The satellites followed the ex-hero to his "horse" Epona. (We have reason to believe that she is a convertible car/plane/boat, because a real horse couldn't get Link to all those destinations around the world) Link went to a obscure island in Micronesia, and into one of those converted caves you see in every James Bond movie known to man. By now, we had one of our people in espionage following him. Inside the cave, there were a small number of people, but there was something unusual about them.
They were wearing masks made purely of their stolen goods, or to be more plain, buttons. Alas, we had only sent the one agent, so he could not arrest the conspicuous personas.
We do not know what happened after that ( the satellites mysteriously got hit by an asteroid) But remember, being a rude, privacy invading, hacker can get you commended for bravery. Please keep an eye out for any horses swimming across oceans, with or without a passenger. Also, be on the lookout for any suspicipus people with excessive buttons on their clothing or hair, unless you are in some sort of strange eighties time capsule.
