Summary: Sarek wants Spock's approval of his marriage to Perrin. Late one night, Saavik and Spock discuss it.
Note: Wanted to try my hand at a drabble (a story of exactly 100 words). A definite challenge!

Saavik lay against Spock's back, skin to skin. "He is lonely."
"I know."
"Amanda never meant for Sarek to be lonely."
He exhaled slowly. "I have nothing against Perrin."
"Except."
"Yes. Except." He drew her hand to his chest. "My mother."
They shared the loss.
She watched the firepot's light play on his body. "If I die first--"
"Don't."
"Husband--"
"Don't!"
He pulled her closer, held tight. Her leg slid over his thigh.
"T'hyla," he whispered.
"T'hyla," she hummed along his neck.
Warm silence. He settled in her embrace.
"I will tell my father we look forward to his bonding."
