In the beginning NOW I remember, being one of them how life seemed so innocent. For fun I use to play with my younger sister, visit friends and read. But now I walk the streets alone, wearing nothing but black clothes, for in my new life I try to avoid human contact and be nothing more then a shadow. I' am male by the name of Tobit, My hair is the colour of midnight black, my skin of course pale like the colour of a dead corpse, and my eyes are pitch black. A lot of humans have weird myths that apply to the vampire world like vampires hate garlic, but honestly if your sense of smell was eight times stronger than the average blood-hound I think you would hate the sent of garlic too. Also the silver cross, the silver cross doesn't do a thing to me, when I was a human I went to church. I wear silver cross on a chain round my neck to remind me that I was once catholic.
1701 It all started on a night like this in Concord, the sky was blueish- black the stars were so bright it was incredible. I can recall the whole think, we were at the grand ball. For it was Joshua's birthday (the barren & bareness son), for he was turning nineteen the same age that I was. I'll never for get that year it was the year of 1701. "Tobit Are you ready were leaving?" beckoned mother. I was ready of course, but I was to go fetch my younger sister her name was Ester. I was nineteen and Ester was only twelve years old, I remember when we were younger we use to be best friends but as the years went by we grew apart. "Ester are you ready? Mother and father are beckoning, again!" I told her as I entered her room. "I'm coming, I just need to slip on my shoes." Said Ester. I remember that Joshua was my best friend I knew him ever since I was five years old. As soon as we arrived at the party I gave Joshua his present, and we went to go get a drink.
I had a tall glass of wine in my hand, and then went on to the balcony. For there I saw a beautiful woman, though her clothing was different from the rest of us at the party. She had a long black silk dress it was very simple, and she had long black hair about down to her shoulders, her skin was fairly pale, but I had to admit she had gorgeous lips they were crimson red.
"Who is that women?" I asked Joshua "Oh her, that's um.I'm not to shure." He said in a puzzled tone of voice.
So I decided to go over and talk to her, "um.hello miss, can I get you a drink?" I asked politely "That's sweet" she said in a cold tone of voice, "shure" I went to go get her a drink, but when I returned with the drink she was standing there joined by two friends. I handed her the drink, and the man standing next to her said "hello Tobit, my name is Aubrey." He had a cold voice, like death and he was very dark looking, all his clothes were black and the only thing white on him was his pale skin. He sent shivers up my spine. I did not like this Aubrey, not one bit not even at all. "Err.hello" I replied, not knowing what to say.
Latter that night when we arrived home, and I told Ester all that I had witnessed. And I said to her "you listen to me, thoes people were not normal people. For they seemed to." I couldn't finish the sentence, it seemed to hard to believe. "They signed the devils book?" Ester said hinting me. Beginning
