Making a Choice: Divorce in a Young Boy's Eyes

I had to write a poem for school. Here it be.
(from Matt's point of view)
What choice should I make
I must consider
The chances I'll take
The thoughts make me quiver
My father my mother
I know I have to choose
The one that ends up with my brother
Is the one that I'll refuse
My mother really is very nice
I'd love to go with her
But my own happiness I must sacrifice
In favor of my dear little brother
His billions of dreams I can so clearly see
I know I have to go with my father
T.K. is my little brother
He means the world to me
