Never wish yourself away.
When the night is oh so quiet
And all the stars have gone to bed.
He sits outside your window,
Watching and listening to all that's said.
You proceed in what you do
And recite the words from the book.
Hearing a sound behind you,
Fearing what's there you dare not look.
Fear sets over you and you gasp
As a soft breath touches your cheek
You close your eyes and hope it's imagination
But you realise it is not when he speaks.
"I am here," he begins so very softly.
"Your wish is now granted my dear."
He grabs your hand and places a gentle kiss.
To you his intentions are clear.
Although you tried your hardest
And as you realise it is too late.
You find you can not run, you can not hide
You are the meal upon his plate.
"Help me please." To god you pray
And as he takes you that very night
You loose what's pure; you loose your grace.
His grasp on you is now so tight.
Now ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls
There is a lesson here today
To the man, the King of Goblins
Never wish yourself away.
