Avengers Compound.

Daniella Jones is hard at work. Well, hard at work training that is. Lately, she has been pushing herself incredibly hard, making sure she stays in tip-top shape. Why she has pushed herself like this, the world may never know. All Daniella knows is that this is something that she wants to do. As she's continuing to go at it, giving it everything she's got, she receives a visitor, outside of her personal training room door.

"F.R.I.D.A.Y., who's at the door?" Daniella asks, still trying to focus on what she is doing.

"Ms. Jones, Kate Bishop has come to see you." F.R.I.D.A.Y. replies.

"Very well F.R.I.D.A.Y.. Open the door and let her in." Daniella says.

Kate then enters and sees exactly what Daniella has been up to. She's amazed by her. She respects the fact that she's come so far since her first days with the Avengers, and she's more willing than ever to push herself as far as she possibly can in order to complete whatever she has to do. However, Kate starts to see that, perhaps, there is no real purpose in Daniella pushing herself right now. After all, it's just a mere six weeks after the big battle, where Tony Stark and Natasha Romanoff met their fates, and a mere three weeks after her attempts to help Wanda Maximoff in Westview were somewhat unsuccessful. Maybe, Kate thought, she was doing this just to keep her mind off of things, and nothing more than that.

"Hey, are you alright?" Kate asks.

"Of course I am. Why wouldn't I be?" Daniella asks in return.

"It just seems like, ya know, you're doing this, just to stay away from everything and everyone." Kate says, concerningly.

Daniella then stops what she's doing, and looks at Kate. She can see that Kate is genuinely concerned for her well-being, and quite frankly, she's concerned for herself now too.

"If we're being honest, yeah, I am. It's just been hard. Losing Natasha, losing Tony. It's been something. I just needed time away for a while I guess." Daniella says, almost embarrassed by what she has been doing.

"I get that, and we all know how much this has affected you, but you need to stop doing this for a while, Daniella. You've been at this for a long time. Take a break, go out and do something. Go back to being the "hero of the people", like you always strived to be." Kate says.

"You know what Kate, that's not a bad idea. Do me a favor though while I'm gone, make sure my suit charges properly." Daniella says.

"No problem. Now go and enjoy yourself DJ Jones." Kate says.

"With pleasure." Daniella says.

With that, Daniella was off on her motorcycle, to downtown Manhattan, to see what it is that she can do. She, of course, has many options, so it will be hard to pick one. However, as she's about to enter onto the bridge that will lead her directly downtown and straight to Times Square, she pumps the breaks and stops herself, as she looks ahead and sees an abnormal-looking swarm of something in front of her. She pulls off to the side, and starts walking towards it. As she does, it starts materializing into a human form. Two human forms, to be exact.

"What are we doing here brother? This is not going to get us the new superhero list." Roman says.

"Patience brother. We will stop at nothing to not only get the superhero list of the superheroes we've been trying to get, but once we're done there, we will stop at nothing to eliminate all of the superheroes that exist in this world." Riker says.

"But we still have not yet gotten the list. Why are we here?" Roman asks.

"To lure them away. To keep them away from the place in which they hide the list." Riker says.

"Very smart brother." Roman says.

Before Riker gets a chance to reply to his brother's comment, Daniella then quickly starts running towards them.

"Well well, it looks like we have a challenger." Riker says.

"I don't know who you think you are, but if you intend to cause damage in my city, you have to come through me first." Daniella says, sternly.

"Well of course. Daniella "DJ Jones", the hero of the people as the citizens here call you." Roman says.

Roman then charges at Daniella, who was in a defensive stance. However, much to the surprise of both of them, Riker gets in front of her, and prevents him from getting near her. However, he was not able to stop him for blasting Daniella in the arm, making her fall back in pain and agony.

"Brother! What are you doing?" Riker asks, angrily.

"You said we needed to do harm, so that's what I was doing." Roman says.

"I also said not to people, which you failed to listen to. Still, the task is done, one way or another. Let this be a warning Ms. Jones. We will be coming for you, and all of your superhero friends. You will not be able to stop us" Riker says.

Then they blast several windows as they begin to transform, back into the black swarm. There is panic in the city. For Daniella, however, she remembers these two being described her, though it was a rather long time ago. She knows exactly where she has to go, and what she has to. However, she first calls Kate back at the compound.

"Kate, did my suit charge up to full?" Daniella asks.

"Sure did." Kate replies.

"Good. Get it into the portable charging carrier for me. I'm picking it up and then I'm off. A new threat has arisen." Daniella says.

"Can I help?" Kate asks.

"Not this time. I need you to hold down the fort there, while I turn to the only people that I know who have dealt with it before. The Elite Force." Daniella says.

Daniella then turns her motorcycle around, puts her helmet back on, and despite the pain in her left arm, rides back to the compound to collect her suit, so that she can go inform the team she hasn't spoken with in some time that their two main mortal enemies are back, and they're seemingly back for vengeance.
