I said I wouldn't do it again.

I said I wouldn't.

And here I am.

Another Pokemon and self-insert story.

EXCEPT THIS TIME, WE'RE DOING THIS IN 3RD PERSON!

What do I warn the people of? Well, the usual. Witty jokes, my humor, my comments, different interactions with characters, a couple of serious jokes, and also some other things I will address when I get to it.

Overall, one of my usual stories.

Now if you all want some background before we begin as to what would canonically set this whole thing up, go look at chapter 2 of one of my shorter stories called Story Mishaps. That will explain the yelling.

"I FUCKING HATE YOU LIZZY!" Lego, the author (that's me) and also now captive to the shit of another world, shouted at the top of his lungs as he stared out at sea at the dock on Prelude Beach, though it was quite small, and also while the professor of the Hisui Region, Professor Laventon, watched with the three starter Pokemon of his.

"Calm down, yelling isn't gonna help anyone," Laventon said to Lego as he walked up to him. "But seriously, where did you come from?"

"There isn't a boat," Lego began while looking at him. "So might as well cross that off." He looked at the sky and around it. "I don't see any planes flying around, but then again-"

"What's a plane?" Laventon asked, interrupting Lego.

"I stand corrected," Lego said to himself. "Nevermind. Planes aren't an option either." He looked around at the little area, and said, "And I probably couldn't have come over here beforehand since you came from that direction, which would mean-!"

"You must've fallen through the space-time rift!" Laventon interrupted again, before looking over at a giant vortex in the middle of the sky. "That's the only other way, unless you were abandoned out at sea…" Laventon looked down though as he began thinking about it. "But then you would've said something about that…"

"I've barely been on a boat before in my life," Lego said. "And also… your Pokemon are running."

Professor Laventon then turned around and saw that the three Pokemon of his, Rowlet, Cyndaquil, and Oshawott were running away from them, and Laventon's jaw dropped a bit, before chasing after them. "Wait you three! Waiiiiiiiiiiiit!"

Lego watched the Professor runoff, before Lego sighed. "Great, I'm screwed…" He said to himself as he began walking down the path the Professor went down. "If this is based off of Arceus… then I should have a decent idea of what's going on though details will be hazy." As he thought about how Arceus went, he then stopped in front of some grass, where something shiny was. Curious, Lego looked through the grass and found the Arc Phone, which looked like a normal phone, except for that fact it had a casing similar to that of Arceus, with the Arceus symbol on the sides of it and the wispy looking piece of Arceus's head on the top of it. "Gonna need this…" Pocketing it, Lego looked down the path. "All I need is a starter Pokemon now and I'm set," Lego stated.

Walking to the little clearing up ahead where the professor was, Lego saw him throw a Pokeball and miss the Rowlet he was trying to catch. Lego found it a bit funny.

"Yo, you need help?" Lego asked Laventon, who looked at Lego.

"Are you sure? Pokemon can be dangerous," Laventon said.

"Please, they're not all that dangerous. Sure, some of them are more dangerous than others, but you also got to play your cards right," Lego said. "Plus, you're struggling with level 5 Pokemon, in their first forms, and haven't even gotten close to them. Let me handle this."

Laventon nodded. "If it helps, use the tall grass to blend in and get close. Unless they know you're there, you should be able to sneak up on them. And allow me to tell you a bit about the-"

"I won't need the tall grass, because I have another method," Lego said, before Laventon gave him some Pokeballs. Lego rolled his arm a few times, loosening up the muscles, before looking at the Pokemon.

Of them all, he was most familiar with Oshawott and Cyndaquil, having played some games with them and choosing them as his Pokemon. He did play Moon and Ultra Sun, but he chose Litten's chain both times. But he also knew that they had new forms in this world, so he had to expect something else, especially with Cyndaquil and Rowlet, who he didn't exactly fully evolve or raise, since he chose Oshawott.

And while he did choose Cyndaquil for a different game… that wasn't exactly the main line, or the Gen 2 games since it was Mystery Dungeon, and… well, the games all worked differently for the spinoffs. Mostly.

He did have a Decidueye in his Ultra Sun save though… he thought. He wasn't entirely sure since he hadn't touched his 3DS games since playing on Switch, though he did have a Rowlet in Pokemon Sword and Shield.

However, this wasn't the games. Or a game. This was life… or maybe. Personally, Lego was having doubts and while breaking the fourth wall sounded fun, he didn't think that that reality was likely, though in the infinite possibilities in the multiverse he most likely was in a story for his own entertainment. But what were the chances?

And since this wasn't the games, that meant he had more options of things to do.

And that meant more methods to catch them all.

"Oi!" Lego called out to the three starter Pokemon. He looked at them as they looked at him. "Be my friend!"

"What?" Laventon questioned. That was a straightforward approach… and made zero sense! Laventon just suggested that Lego take a stealthy approach, even if he didn't say it directly.

Lego sat down on the grass, and looked at the Pokemon. They didn't approach him… yet. So Lego laid down on the grass and looked at the sky. He began humming. He would sing, but he was a bit self conscious of his singing, so he didn't like to do it publicly, even if it was just the Professor.

The first to come up to him was none other than Cyndaquil, who stared at him for a bit. "Hey there, wanna be friends?" Lego asked. "My name is Lego." Cyndaquil was clearly confused.

"Cynda?" It said. It was confused by how different Lego acted compared to the other humans.

"Mhm," Lego said, before randomly clicking his tongue. Cyndaquil was more confused, before Oshawott and Rowlet came up.

"Cynda cyn cyn quil," Cyndaquil said.

"Osha?"

"Rooooooow…"

The three Pokemon looked at Lego, who was still humming. Truth be told, he confused the Professor and the three Pokemon.

Oshawott walked up to Lego, and Lego looked back at the Oshawott. "Yo…" Lego said. He sat up, and the two stared at each other. Then suddenly, Lego started to pat Oshawott on the head. "Who is a good little Otter Pokemon?" Lego questioned the Oshawott, who fell for it.

"O-Osha…" the Oshawott was captivated by the attention it was getting.

"Yes you are," Lego said in response. The other two Pokemon came out, before Lego began to pet them as well, and seemed to gain their trust. Lego smiled at each of them, before putting a Pokeball in front of each of them. "Now, want to travel with me, or no?"

He didn't think any of them would just get in the Pokeball, or at least guess one of them would. But to his surprise, they all got in the Pokeballs. Of their own free will too. Lego smiled at that as he picked up the Pokeballs.

"Amazing," the Professor said. "You used a completely unorthodox method and caught them all…" The Professor was astonished.

"Yeah, sometimes you gotta get to know them and offer it to the Pokemon before catching them," Lego said. He handed the Professor the Pokeballs.

"Splendid," Laventon said with a smile. "This is great! Thank you!"

"No problem," Lego said. "Afterall, when someone needs help, it's a hero's job to help them!" Lego stopped for a moment, before saying, "Wait, I'm not a hero…" He shrugged. "Eh, whatever."

"Still, thank you," Laventon said. "But since you appeared out of nowhere, and possibly through the spacetime rift, would you even manage to survive out here?"

"I'd probably manage somehow," Lego stated, and it was true, it was possible for him to somehow survive this.

"I'd rather you come with me so that then I can get you somewhere to stay," Laventon said. "It's dangerous out here after all!"

Lego thought about it. 'Hmm… let's see, do I hate on Kamado for being a dumbass, or do I try to get a certain someone in chains for this…' Thinking about it for a moment, he nodded. "Sure, I got nowhere else to go to and I'm pretty sure I have a reason to be here."

The Professor nodded with a smile. "Very well! Then follow me to Jubilife Village."

Lego followed the professor, and they eventually made it to the village in question. Lego was looking around trying to spot any differences in the villagers, trying to see if there was anything different between them in the games. And to be fair, he was hopeless at spotting differences so he didn't see much that was different.

Eventually making it to the large building meant solely for the Galaxy Team as it's HQ, Laventon turned to look at Lego. "Okay my boy, I'm afraid you'll need to wait out here for a bit while I plead your case to the higher ups and convince them to let you join the Galaxy Team," Laventon told Lego, who merely nodded.

"Why don't you wait at the Wallflower?" Laventon suggested.

Lego looked at it, before asking, "Wouldn't it be better if I waited right here? I mean, I am a stranger. No one is going to accept me for just appearing here."

Seeing some of the reasons for that comment, Laventon nodded. "I guess you're right." With a nod, Laventon said, "I'll be back," and entered the building, leaving Lego to sit out front of the Galaxy Team's building.

Lego waited a few moments, before he was eventually greeted by someone while his eyes were closed and he leaned against the building while waiting.

"Hi, you seem to be new around here," he was told as he opened his eyes and saw two people, whom he was surprised to see. One of said people, the one who began talking to him, was none other than Rei, and the other person with him was Akari.

Both of them were the ancestors to the protagonists of the Pokemon Diamond and Pearls games, and Lego was surprised to see them since there should only be one of them here.

Then again, this wasn't the game.

'Tale would get a kick out of this,' Lego thought, thinking about an author friend of his.

"I'm Rei, this is Akari," Rei said as he introduced himself and Akari.

"Nice to meet you!" Akari said. One of her arms was in a cast and sling while she waved with the other one.

"I could've sworn that the Commander would've told us if new people were coming to join us here," Rei said as he adjusted his hat on his head. "He said he would've."

"Well, I'm…" Lego began, "a much, much, different case." He looked away, since he didn't want to say much more.

"How so?" Akari asked him, both of them looking at him like they expected him to answer.

Unable to avoid the question, Lego then said, "I woke up on the beach. Alone. The Professor found me, along with his Pokemon, which he had me catch because he needed some help." Lego looked at them. "Why do you care?"

"We normally get to know everyone and help them settle in," Rei answered. "That, and working as the Survey Corps so we can make sure everyone lives safe lives here in Jubilife Village."

"Is that why Akari here has her arm in a cast and sling?" Lego asked, though he figured it was because she got hit by a move called Thunder Shock in the games.

"I was out in the field with Rei and my partner Pokemon," Akari said, "and Rei was getting ambushed by a Pokemon, and it tried to attack him, so I pushed him out of the way and I got hit by a Thunder Shock. We got chased a bit by it since the Alpha Pokemon here are a bit… hasty, to attack." Akari looked at her arm. "I'm stuck in the village until my arm heals and I'm allowed to go back out and survey."

"Yeah, we nearly got killed out there," Rei said while he put a hand on the bill of his hat. "If it wasn't for the Security Corps, we wouldn't have been able to make it back here…"

"Sounds rough," Lego said in a more grim voice, mimicking a certain Emo Gohan. "Have you ever thought of wearing something made of rubber to nullify the electric attacks?"

The two were more surprised by his sudden voice change to actually pay attention to what he said. "What in the world?!" Akari exclaimed.

"How in the world did you do that?!" Rei questioned while pointing at Lego dramatically.

Lego smiled, and began to laugh while doing a Zamasu impression now. "Foolish mortals," Lego began. "Did you really think a god like myself would not be capable of changing the way he sounds?" The two gasped, buying his act like fools. "Prepare yourselves." Lego raised a hand into the air, with his index and middle fingers raised to the sky. "FOR DIVINE RETRIBUTION!"

The two hugged each other, both scared, before Lego shouted, "PSYCH!" And then went back to leaning against the wall with a smug look.

"What?" The two questioned.

"Did you really think I am a god and could smite you?" Lego asked them, getting nods from them. "Of course not! It's a bit difficult, but I can change the way my voice sounds. Hell, I can even sing with a different voice, though it's a bit hard for some pitches and notes."

"Don't scare us like that!" Rei said while pointing at Lego again.

"I just might," Lego said.

"You're crazy," Akari said.

"Bitch, I'm evil, not insane," Lego said.

The door to the Galaxy Team's HQ opened, and Laventon came out. "Hey, Lego, you can come in now! Cyllene wants to speak with you."

Lego nodded and said, "Ah shit, here we go again."

"STOP DOING THAT THING WHERE YOU CHANGE YOUR VOICE!" Rei and Akari said to him.

Ah ha, ha…

I'm gonna include so many references. Kill me.
