Lost

Prologue

Rumbles of thunder echoed throughout the cloud ridden sky and its partner lightning wasn't too far behind. With every flash the rumbles grew louder. The rain joined as well making this storm one for the record books.

Running to her car using a piece of paper as cover Sarah Jane Smith jumped in to the driver seat. Slipping the key into the ignition she turned on the car just as a lightning bolt hit a telephone pole right in front of her.

Not wasting any more time Sarah Jane put her foot down on the gas and zoomed off down the road.

Swerving out of the way of falling trees and a down telephone poles Sarah Jane turned down one of the back streets to avoid anymore debris. She noticed many people running for cover from this storm which was strange for it was supposed to be a sunny day.

Turning down another street Sarah Jane's hand tighten on her steering wheel. Her eyes widen as she stepped on her breaks. She couldn't believe what was laying down on the road before her. Peering through the window she laid eyes on person who wasn't moving. Enough though it looked like the person may already passed on that didn't stop her from wanting to get a closer look. For even in this weather her curiosity refused to be quelled.

Taking a deep breath Sarah Jane pushed the door open and ran to the person's side. Pulling off the branches along with others bits debris she was finally able to get a better look Her eyes widen for it was a young man a teenager no less. He had short jet black hair with a pale complexion.

Placing two fingers up to his neck she smiled when she found a pulse. Knowing she couldn't leave him out here Sarah Jane dragged him back to her car . The moment she pushed him into the passenger seat and shut the door she noticed the wind stop even the rain slowed down. When Sarah Jane hopped back into the driver's seat the roars of thunder were gone and so was the lightning.

In the car a few moans would escape the lips of from the teenager. With his eyes barely open he tried to move but noticed he was restrained. Looking outside he could also tell he was moving as well. Giving up on moving he tried to speak instead but when he opened his mouth all he did was make a noise instead.

"Your safe now." Sarah Jane said

"Sa...fe." The teenager mumbled.

"That's right we can talk later you should get some rest." Sarah Jane said.

"No...I must get home...its in danger." The teenager protest.

"Listen you cant do much of anything right now, but I promise I will do my best to help you get home. Now my name is Sarah Jane Smith whats your name?" Sarah Jane asked.

At first there was no response but after a few coughs he finally tried to speak again.

"My name is Percy….Percy Jackson." The teen said.

"Well rest now Percy and like I said I will do everything I can to help." Sarah Jane said

Soon the sounds of light snoring reached Sarah Jane's ears. It wouldn't be long before she was home with her guest. But that name why did it sound so familiar to her. Shaking her head Sarah Jane took a deep breath as she turned back on to the main road. She would have to look into into it later but right now she just needed to get home.
