One Piece: The Little Stowaway Ch.1

A Stowaway In The Sunny?

It had been four weeks since the departure from Fish-Man Island and entering into the New World, the Straw Hats had recently docked over a local market port to replenish their supplies, mainly food since some curtain 'Captain' the leak of a better word, had been consuming amounts of it, mostly meat. But other important things they need to restock on the Sunny, Sanji needed to find some new seasonal ingredients to try out, Franky had to get more cola barrels for the ship's engine, and Usopp and Chopper were on an errand to get more medicines for the sickbay, Robin stops at a book store to buy some few new books, and Nami as usual gone on a shopping spree while having Luffy to carry the large amount new clothes in shopping bags like he's a horse carrying a heavy load.

"Nami!" The Straw Hat Boy whined as he was huffing, his tongue sticking out, sweating "Why do I have to carry so much?!" Luffy asked, panting. "You could've at least carried a few yourself."

"It's not even that heavy, and I promise to give you a back massage later." She said with a wink.

"Yeah..." He trailed off only to see some display of already cooked meat on a spit which made his mouth water.

However, Nami quickly caught up to him as she irritably grabbed by the ear and yank him forward, dragging him.

"Ow, Ow, Ow! Ok, I'm coming!"

Meanwhile, Sanji was going over some fresh-picked apples, examining each one of them to make sure no dents, spots, or worms in them.

"Hmm, I'd be thinking of making some nice apple martinis for Nami-Swan and Robin-Chwan~" Smiling to himself as puffing heart-shaped smokes out of his cigarette, imagining them drinking and being pleased by him.

"Even though what some say that my beautiful navigator goddess and that dimwitted Captain are secret lovers... heh, just the thought of that makes my blood run cold!"

"Anything you see here is okay, sir?" A female store clerk asked, which immediately snap his head in her direction with hearts in his eyes.

"No, everything okay here, lovely lady!"

She looked at him with a hint of disgust.

~Back with Luffy and Nami~

Both with Luffy and Nami, they've decided to stop and rest over a bench. Since she thought her captain deserves a little breather which of course was very pleased.

"So tired... so hungry..." He bemoaned, slouching on the bench in a very lazy manner. Nami just sat there as she shook her head in disbelief at Luffy's usual childish behavior.

Nami just sighed "You better be grateful that I didn't stop at that last store, those dresses looked pretty." she pouted.

"I'd sometimes wonder why you are so into those things." Luffy stretched his arms up in the arm.

"Don't you have other hobbies than just shopping for some pretty dresses and other girly girl stuff," Luffy added making gagging noises which of course to annoy her even further?

"It's called fashion, you can't understand it yet."

"Nope," Luffy replied nonchalantly. "I don't." Then he started to pick his nose with his pinky finger.

Before she can protest more, she notices something watching from the corner of her eye. At first, she was just seeing things, but she had this deep feeling inside her chest as if they were almost being spied at by a small figure peering behind a tree. But before she gets a better look, it disappeared in a blink of an eye. This caught the Straw Hat Boy's attention.

"Hey, Nami, what's up?" He asked curiously, tilting his head, a bit concerned by Nami's worrisome expression.

"Nothing, I thought I saw something." Nami shook her head, giving him a fake reassuring smile.

"You sure, you seem like you have seen a ghost. If that is the case, can we go see if it's a ghost?" Luffy exclaimed only to get and bonk on the head.

"It's not a ghost you idiot!" She sighed as she scanned the area. 'I could've sworn I saw something.' she thought.

~At The Sunny~

It wasn't long before everyone returned to the Sunny where they remain crew members, Zoro and Brook were waiting since Nami put them in charge to guard the ship while half of them were gone to do their errands.

The green-haired swordsman was leaning by the mast snoozing as he usually does, while Brook practices his violin. Despite that, the Sunny seems to be intact and no bandits or marines had come by much to Nami's and the other's relief.

"HEEEEEEEY!" Luffy cried out, which give attention to the two remaining crewmates. "We're back!"

"Oh Miss Nami and Mister Luffy, you're both back. Oh, miss Nami, can I see your panties? He said with a blush.

Nami smacks him across his face with a roundhouse kick as he crashes on the floor face first and his rear sticking up high.

"Hell no, you creep!"

"Yohohohow! How feisty!"

"When will you ever learn?" The swordsman groan.

Hey, can someone give me a hand here? He asked while pointing towards his insanely heavy load.

Zoro sighed knowing Nami has over-shopped herself yet again.

"Sure, Luffy... hang on."

"My, you seem to be buying much more clothes for each of us, Nami."

She walked past them, amused by the sight of all the huge amount of shopping bags that Zoro helped to carry in for their captain.

"I can't help it, all of the stalls looked good." Nami shrugged. "You know who I am when it comes to buying new dresses." She grinned.

"Fufufu," Robin chuckled. "Maybe I should accompany you next time. You know how much I like to go shopping myself."

"Yeah, unlike you, you'd go shopping for some new books than stupid dresses," Zoro added which made the archeologist chuckle more over the swordsmen's humorous remarks.

"You know me too well, Zoro."

"And who said dresses are stupid, Zoro?" The navigator retorted. "I don't see you being on tutu skirts and toe-toe shoes." She smirks at him.

Zoro grunted as he looked away to help out Luffy with the rest of the bags.

"Well all that left is for others to arrive back before we set sail," Brook commented, after recovering from Nami's assault. "I do like to catch the winds through my delicate skin... or at least if I have any. Yohohoho!"

Nami rolled her eyes at his joke as she turns towards the horizon over the Portside of the ship, looking a bit unnerving feeling inside her body.

"Hey, Nami, you think you give me that massage you promise?" Luffy asked, placing his hand on his back, rubbing the soreness, and stiffness he feels from carrying the heavy bags.

Nami smiled as she did indeed promise that since her captain had been put through so much hard work on carrying her new clothes and such.

"Okay alright, wait for me in our room. I need to process my thoughts for a while."

Luffy of course understands that.

"Okay, in the meantime I'm thinking of asking Sanji to make some pirate lunches. All that carrying heavy loads sure did make me hungry! Shishishishi!"

Nami couldn't help but laugh a bit with him.

"Ok, see you in a bit." She said with a wink.

Once Luffy does wait in, ''quote on quote'' their room cause Nami once in a while lets Luffy share a bed with her in the women's bedroom since she and her captain started their secret relationship with one another ever since the whole crew has been reunited after two whole years.

Though everyone, except Robin, doesn't think much of it since they've later found out about it. Even Sanji didn't take the news very well he was still in denial about the fact that a beautiful goddess like Nami would start a secret relationship with that rubber brain idiot of a captain.

Nevertheless, he sat on Nami's bed, waiting patiently for her to give him a massage.

Then again in Luffy's case... waiting is the hardest part.

Back outside, Nami was lean on the railing, under deep thoughts, she still can't help the fact of what she said back at the marketplace where she and Luffy were resting at the bench they sat. Was someone or something watching them?

"Is everything alright?" The archeologist asked her, noticing how the navigator was under such deep thoughts in her.

"Nothing, it just... something's bothering me." Nami sighed, not glancing at her.

"It seems to me that something is off with you, Believe me, I too have this strange feeling. I think we're being watched somehow."

"Yeah," Nami nodded. "The new world is filled with things we've never encountered before."

"Hope our two years of training to come here would've been for nothing," Brook said as he sip his tea. "Plus Luffy was much stronger than he ever was back at Sabaody Archipelago and the Paramount War at Marineford."

The mention sends chills to her spine of what happened during that war and Ace's death. Nami bit her lower lip as she tries her best not to be reminded of that tragedy.

"Anyways." She said as she shook her head removing the tragic thoughts from her mind. "I'm going to my room now, I bet he's already getting impatient."

"Very well, then. We'll keep an eye out for the others."

With that, Nami strolled over to her room which to expect finds her captain, laying on her bed, snoring, with a snot bubble. Luffy had quickly fallen asleep while he's been waiting for her.

She smiled as he tucked him in. "Sorry for the wait." Nami softly said, leaning down to kiss him on the forehead.

Luffy only responded with a mumble in his sleep saying. "Yes...I'll like some meat~"

Nami just muffled her laugh with her hand, couldn't help how much his newly secret lover is already dreaming about meat. "Even in sleep he still thinks of food." She said with a chuckle as she decided to sit by his side, placing her hand on the of his head and ruffled black hair.

2 hours have passed after Usopp, Sanji, Franky, and Chopper returned to the Sunny with all supplies they need as they set sail again.

After having a wonderful dinner made once again from, Sanji, they retired to their beds, Nami and Robin rest peacefully while the others slept on their bunkers. Zoro was at the crow's nest since it was his turn to take the lookout post if he wasn't sleeping on the job.

Throughout the whole night, Chopper was starting to hear some strange noises and shuffling going around the ship. At first, he doesn't think much off it, but as they continue he decided to investigate. Quietly he tip-toed (Or tip-hoove for that matter) not to wake anyone, making his way toward the kitchen to where he heard was coming from. He slowly open the door with a crack and peeked over. It was dark, but he can slightly see a silhouette so something.

What the little reindeer was witnessing was some strange creature, hunched over on top of the counter, munching on something while a strange bobbing object was floating in the air.

"W-Who's there!?" He said trembling in his voice, startling the creature, looking at him.

Its eyes glow Celeste blue in the darkness as it stares directly at him. Chopper stood there frozen, eyes bulging wide with his mouth gaping way down that it almost hit the floor... His fur bristled with fear while his spine trembled.

All he can be screamed as the strangled creature pounced, and sprinted past him, knocking him down. It was so fast that he barely get a glimpse of what it was. He looked around and over the railing where the strange creature went, but it was nowhere to be seen. Almost as if it just vanished into thin air.

The rest of the crew alarmed by their crew's doctor's scream, immediately went down to check.

"What happened here!?" Nami exclaimed, looking over the reindeer who's on the railing, scanning around the deck, panicked and intense fright on his face. But after hearing her voice, Chopper rushed over to the group.

"NAMI! GUYS!" He squealed.

He leaps up to her and buried his face between her bosoms, crying.

"Monster! There's a m-monster in the ship!"

"Monster? I don't see any monster here." Zoro said, looking around, seeing nothing out there.

Chopper: "B-B-But I saw it! It had eyes that glow in the dark and there was a strange blob floating in mid-air with it! I swear!"

"Come on, Chopper, stop messing around and trying to scare us!" Usopp frowned as if he thought that Chopper is making all this up. Even though Usopp is the biggest lier to make up stories about monsters and ghosts.

Chopper: "I'm telling the truth!"

That's when Nami noticed some bones, banana peels, a half-eaten apple, and some strange tracks of peanut butter that is the shape of a paw, but with more human-like features.

"Hey guys look at this," she said while examining the tracks. "Chopper isn't lying, and I think we may have a stowaway."

"If what he's saying is true, then this stowaway can be bad news." Usopp trembled.

"Having a stowaway, eating all our food like he owns the place?! Whoever this stowaway is, is going to be answering to us." Sanji hissed.

"Not until I slice the intruder in half," Zoro added brandishing his sword.

"A stowaway, boarding on my ship? Eating all my food?! I'm going to kick its ass!" Luffy growled, and pounded his fist to his hand, itching to pummel whoever this stowaway is...

"Now boys, let's not be hostile here," Robin said, trying to calm them down. "We can't jump to a conclusion just yet. We need to search the area and find where the stowaway is hiding."

"What about we follow these tracks," Nami said while gesturing to the paw-shaped peanut butter tracks.

"Hmm, a very logical suggestion," Robin replied with a slight smile, tapping her finger under her chin.

"Good idea, Nami!" Luffy exclaimed as if he were praising her clever suggestion which made her blush slightly.

"Whoever this person is, must've been hungry. Now let's find that little stowaway!" Nami ordered.

"Right!" Everyone chanted as they began their hunt.
