Chapter 1: Another day in Tazmania
It was a sunny morning in Tazmania as it usually is. Taz was getting prepared to go to work, while his siblings Molly and Jake were getting ready for school. As for their parents Jean and Hugh, they were getting ready to take their kids to where they needed to go. First dropping off Taz at the Hotel Tazmania, then dropping off Molly at high school, and finally dropping off Jake at his school. After they were done dropping their kids off, they went to do some grocery shopping. While it seemed like any other ordinary day, it was gonna turn into anything but ordinary in just a matter of hours.
It first started with Taz getting kicked out of Hotel Tazmania by his boss Bob, quite literally. "I TOLD YOU NOT TO DROP OUR SPECIAL GUEST'S LUGGAGE, BUT YOU DID ANYWAY!" he shouted, "EVERYTHING SHE HAD IS COMPLETELY BROKE ALL THANKS TO YOU! DON'T EVEN BOTHER COMING TO WORK FOR A LONG WHILE!" Bob slammed the door shut, while Taz dusted himself off, talking under his breath in his usual gibberish.
Then, Molly was at the high school in the cafeteria when one of her enemies showed up. "I'm surprised a Tasmanian Devil like you doesn't suffer from obesity," the individual laughed. "Do me a favor Carla, shut up," Molly replied. "Or what? New Chips off the Block gonna protect you?" Carla laughed once more. "I said, shut up!" Molly barked. Some more words were exchanged and what went from being vocal turned physical, as the other kids chanted, "Fight! Fight! Fight!" The Principal showed up which caused Molly and Carla to stop fighting. "Both of you to my office, now!" She demanded.
Then, Jake and his classmates were reading along to a book with their teacher, using separate books. He got distracted and tried talking to Heather. "This book reminds me of how you and me are ment to be together," he whispered. Heather rolled her eyes and replied, "I'm trying to read." "Jake, please read along with us," his teacher stated, "You can talk with classmates after." However, Jake didn't listen and continued to try and chat with Heather. "I know you like me Heather," whispered Jake, "That's why I want to give you a present." Jake then closed his eyes and leaned to kiss Heather, but she backed away. "Ahem!" the teacher said, looking at Jake particularly. Jake opened his eyes and quickly leaned back to normal when he saw his teacher. "What are you doing?" She asked with a stern tone. "Uhh, I almost fell out of my chair?" replied Jake in an unsure tone and smiled like if he were innocent. "Tell that to Principal Sharon," the teacher said.
Meanwhile, Jean and Hugh were finishing up shopping, although have somewhat split up. Jean was in the deli changing her mind multiple times between meats that the household could use. "I wanna choose that one, but I know Taz would wanna have that one," she said. The deli worker facepalmed as Jean had been trying to make up her mind for nearly 15 minutes straight. She made up her mind on what to get, which really made the worker greatful because now he could cut up the meat finally. On her way back to her husband, she was getting a phone call from Taz.
As for Hugh, he was talking up a storm to the cashier, while a long line of frustrated customers waited. "And that's the story how me and the love of my life met. We then got a home together, had some wonderful kids, got a pet, and blah blah blah, yackity shmakity," Hugh explained. The cashier was incredibly unhappy on the inside but tried to show he was happy on the outside. "I know you like to talk, but did you ever consider that there are waiting customers?" he asked through gridded teeth. "Yeah, come on!" yelled one customer. "We've been waiting here for almost a half hour you dumb devil!" yelled another customer. "Hold on now, that was just part one of the story," said Hugh. This enraged the customers and the cashier's eye twitched as he thought Hugh was gonna make him lose his mind.
Jean then ran over. "What's wrong my little muffin with sprinkles on top?" Hugh asked. "It's the kids," Jean explained, "We have to pick all 3 of them up. Taz tells me he is suspended from work until further notice, while I got a call from the principals of Molly and Jake's schools!" "What?" asked Hugh, "It's only been a few hours." When they were walking out to go to their family car, the angry customers were still yelling.
