Premise: Izuku Midoriya has a quirk, but it's not so great. Someone with a similar problem will prove him wrong though. What would happen if Izuku had supportive friends helping him before UA? Midoriya and the Big Three. IzukuxNejire.

"Come on Deku! Do it!" Bakugo yelled with a gleeful grin.

"Come on Kacchan! It's not funny anymore!" Izuku cried with tears streaming down his eyes.

"Do it…Or else." An explosion popped off his right hand.

Izuku sighed. He got the usual message. On Izuku's command, his body quickly gave out underneath him and turned into water. All that was left of him now was a puddle and his clothes. Don't let that fool you though. He was still very much alive and conscious even. The only difference was well…he was a puddle…of water.

"Hahahahaha! Oh man, that never gets old!" Bakugo enjoyed a hearty laugh along with his cohorts. A chubby little boy with wings and a skinny boy with extra-long fingers.

This happened regularly. Bakugo and his bullies would threaten Deku or jump-scare him and he would turn into a puddle. I mean what was more pathetic than that? His quirk is turning into a puddle. Meanwhile, Bakugo can create powerful explosions. Deku sure was a loser for being born with a pathetic quirk like that. His lackey's quirks weren't that impressive either, but at least they still had some use. Tsubasa could fly around, and Rin could thrash or grab things with his long fingers. He would like to have friends with more powerful quirks such as his, but they would do for now. Besides, he treated them as if they were beneath him just like Deku, just not as harshly.

They were still in elementary school at this point. They were all about eight years old. This whole abuse started 4 years ago when their quirks came in. Before that, Midoriya had been good friends with Bakugo and the other two.

The bullies then proceeded to stomp on puddle Deku and splash him around like they were playing in the rain. Bakugo got the most enjoyment out of this. I mean he literally has Deku beneath his feet and was stomping on him. What better way to show the dominance he had over Deku?

Even as a puddle, Izuku could still see. It was a weird experience. His body was just a puddle, but he still felt as if he were looking around with two eyes like normal. The difference was he was much lower to the ground. Deku winced on instinct as he saw their filthy shoes descend upon him. It was more of a reflex because he realized long ago that he didn't feel pain in the water form. So, there was one bright side to being a puddle. He always managed to walk away from this without any bruises.

After about a minute the bullies were satisfied and ceased splashing Deku's body over the playground and their clothes. They weren't upset though. There was another interesting about his quirk. Whenever he would revert to his usual self, all of the water would come back without an issue. Even though parts of him were soaked into the bullies' shoes and clothes, it would come back leaving their clothes as dry as they were before. Once the shape was complete his skin appeared, and he was back to normal. Well….Almost normal. There was another embarrassing part to this tormenting tradition.

"Hey look! Deku's naked again!"

All the boys on the playground began pointing and laughing while the girls shrieked and covered their eyes.

Deku did his best to cover himself.

He was the joke of this entire school, not that any of the teachers cared. That's why it's been going on for four years. That was going to change today though. Unfortunately for the bullies, an unexpected visitor had arrived while they were stomping on Deku.

"Katsuki Bakugo!"

Bakugo's laughing ceased along with all of the other grade school children when they heard that voice. Nothing sent chills down the spines of little children than that of an angry mother and not just any mother.

Bakugo and his lackeys turned to see a very angry Inko Midoriya stomping her way towards them. The lady just happened to stop by the school to bring Deku his lunch that he forgot this morning. Obviously, Izuku had not told his mother of the bullying out of embarrassment and fear of retribution. He was able to hide it easily due to the lack of bruises. The mother would make sure to deal with those awful children, but her priority was her naked son. She quickly took off her jacket and wrapped it around Izuku while he cried quietly. Perhaps deep down he was relieved that he had finally been caught being tormented.

The caring mother embraced her son to cover him further and soothe him.

"It's ok Izuku. It's going to be ok." She said as she rubbed his back.

All of the other spectating children had runoff. The three boys took a single step and the Inko snapped her head to them.

"The three of you. Don't you dare move." She said slowly and quietly so as not to disturb Izuku. The menacing tone of her voice as well the seriousness of her face was enough to keep the boys' feet planted. All three of them gulped in nervousness, even Bakugo. The only person able to strike fear in him like this was his mother, so needless to say Inko was able to emulate a similar effect.

Once Izuku had calmed down enough, Inko picked him up. "You three are coming with me while I take Izuku to the nurse. Then we're going to have a chat with your teacher and principal."

Now that they have been caught, Tsubasa and Rin pointed their fingers at Bakugo. "It was all his-"

"I don't want to hear it!" Inko raised her voice and Izuku shuddered against her. She was barely containing her fury.

"I'm so sorry Izuku. It'll be alright." She whispered to relax him again as she walked towards the school building. The three boys knew to stay silent as they followed closely behind.

The principal's office was crowded. Standing next to the principal was the four boys' teacher. Sitting across his desk were the four boys along with their parents. Due to the lack of chairs, all the parents were standing behind them.

The principal was an overweight, middle-aged man with balding brown hair. Their teacher was a dark-haired woman in her late twenties. Both faculty members looked professional and calm like this was a simple parent-teacher conference. Based on their expressions, Inko could already speculate where the fault truly lies

"Mrs. Midoriya, I understand your frustration, but I think you're overreacting. I'm sure the boys were just playing-"

"I know what I saw!" Inko shouted and cut someone off for the second time that day. She was growing increasingly angry after seeing the principal's and the teacher's reaction to her story. They were in no way shocked or appalled at what she just described.

"Mrs. Midoriya, please calm-"

"Don't you tell me to calm down! I saw these three boys trampling on my son and laughing! Then, the whole playground was laughing after my son reformed without his clothes. I've never seen him look so scared and embarrassed."

This time their teacher spoke. "Mrs. Midoriya, I can see that Izuku is upset, but what you just described really does sound they were playing. I've seen them playing like that all the time at recess. I mean the boys were just having fun splashing in a puddle. It's not like your son even got hurt. I fail to see why I should have intervened because your son was acting like a cry baby.

Everyone gasped after Inko jumped up and slammed her fist into the side of the teacher's head. "You've been watching this every day and you think this is ok!

"Ow! You fucking bitch!" Just like that the teacher's composure was gone and couldn't care less that she just cursed in front of children. Then again it makes sense that a teacher that would allow children to be bullied would have no issue swearing in front of them.

"Mrs. Midoriya, you will cease that this instant before I call the police!" The principal stood up and shouted. He really didn't think the situation would get so drastic. He severely underestimated the wrath of an angry mother.

"Oh yeah! Perfect. I'd love to tell the police how you've allowed my son to be bullied for so long."

"You have no proof of this! Katsuki Bakugo and his friends have been model students at this institution. All of their teachers have had nothing but good things to say about him." He should have known the new, young teacher would expose them so easily. The more experienced ones that taught the boys before her knew how to keep their mouths shut.

"Then you're lying." This time it was Katsuki's mother, Mitsuki who had spoken up. The women had been silent since Inko had started recalling the events of what happened between her son and Izuku who had been best friends once upon a time. Normally, the woman was just as abrasive as her son, but not this time. She didn't want to believe that her son has been doing such awful things. Once she had time to process the information though, she couldn't help but imagine it.

"Um, honey you really shouldn't-" Katsuki's father, Masaru tried to interject.

"Be quiet Masaru. You know these people aren't telling the truth based on what they just said. I love my son dearly, but he's not a perfect child. He's rude, angry and full of himself. There's hardly ever a calm moment in our house."

"You hag! What are you-"

"Katsuki, I don't want to hear another word out of you except the truth!" Mitsuki shouted. The teacher and principal were starting to sweat nervously now.

"Did you do really do what Izuku said you did? Have you've you been doing this to Izuku for a long time?"

"So, what if I did those things to Deku! He's a fricken puddle and he thinks he can be a hero. He needs to know what a pathetic waste of life he is." Katsuki knew he was in trouble, but he stayed true to himself and said what he really thought of Deku. Not that honesty was winning him any points.

Mitsuki grabbed her son and yanked him out of his chair.

"Don't you ever say such filthy things again! How can you treat your friend like that! I know how aggressive you are, but I thought you were decent enough to treat your friends right.

Izuku hadn't said a word since the moment his mother had appeared back on the playground. There wasn't anything for him to wear so he was still wrapped in his mother's jacket. He didn't know how he should feel. He ought to be relieved that his bullies were being exposed. He was still afraid of their retribution though. They had warned him of what would happen if he ever tried to rat them out again. He had given up hope of someone believing him after their preschool teacher had flat out dismissed him. It was clear that the teachers at school also saw him as just a worthless puddle. What was going to happen now?

Mitsuki released her son and went over to Izuku. How could she have been so stupid! She should've known something was wrong the moment she stopped seeing Izuku show up for play dates at her house. Katsuki didn't say how long He's been doing this but based on when she stopped seeing him it all started when their quirks came in.

She knelt down in front of Izuku and looked at his tear-stained face. It broke her heart to see him like this. "Izuku sweetie, I'm so sorry I've let Katsuki get away with this for so long. You were suffering for years, and I did nothing because I thought my son knew right from wrong. There are no words that can describe how sorry I am." She then embraced Izuku while letting some tears escape her own eyes.

Izuku was still scared out of his mind, but the hug did help. He happily returned the embrace and continued letting out tears of his own. With how many tears he's let out today, one could wonder if that's also related to his quirk.

Inko was torn on the scene before her. She and Mitsuki hadn't exactly been best friends, but they were close enough to let their kids play together. They happened to meet each other when picking up their kids from school and introduced them to each other. They never really hung out at each other's houses to have coffee or do other mom stuff. If they hung out, they would have realized immediately what was going on between their sons. Right?

Inko wanted to lash out at Mitsuki, but did she have any right? She also couldn't tell that her own son was suffering all those years. The only reason she found out now was that Izuku overslept this morning and forgot his lunch. Ever since his quirk appeared, he'd still put on a happy face, but looking back now she can see that it wasn't his same cheerful self as when he was a toddler running around in his All Might Costume.

Bullying aside, of course, he'd be heartbroken after figuring out his quirk. His heart was set on being the next All Might, and he winds up with a quirk that turns him into a puddle of water. The quirk counselor had said that his power could grow stronger with age, but nothing had changed. All he could do was turn into a puddle and turn back into his normal self. Her husband who worked overseas had a fire-breathing quirk and she had a light telekinetic quirk. Why did Izuku have to end up with the quirk that he had?

"Alright now, let's all try to calm down. I'm sure we can work this out." The principal finally spoke again after watching the emotional scene that just took place. If he played his cards right maybe he could still salvage the situation. Tsubasa, Rin, and their parents had been quite on the sidelines this whole time. Their presence there was awkward more than anything at this point. They weren't sure what to say as this quickly became about Izuku and Bakugo. The other two boys in the room were relieved to see that Bakugo was the focus of their blame.

"It has come to my realization that the boys' instructor has been neglectful in her duties. I'm ashamed that one of my own teachers has allowed this bullying to occur. I promise to discipline-"

"Oh, don't you dare throw me under the bus!" The mentioned woman responded angrily. "You don't give a shit about puddle boy either. I know that all the teachers before me have allowed this to go on. If I'm going down, you are too."

"That's enough!" Inko shouted, silencing them once again. The two faculty members had dug themselves into a hole to the center of the earth and incinerated themselves.

"My son won't be spending another second inside this awful school." Inko had heard enough, and her son was still only clothed in her jacket. She picked up Izuku and made for the exit.

"Inko wait!" Mitsuki called out. "Please I want you to understand-." There was a lot of cutting off being done today.

"Mrs. Bakugo, I really don't want to hear any more excuses or apologies right now." As opposed to the other woman, Inko felt they were no longer on a first-name basis. Despite what she thought a minute ago she couldn't even look at Mitsuki.

The room was silent again now that only the bullies and their parents remained with the principal and their teacher.

"So only Bakugo is in trouble, right?" Rin said weakly.

"Be quiet Hanzo." The boy's father said sternly. That was probably the only thing said from the two boys' side during this whole meeting.

Inko knew that her priority should be getting her baby fully clothed, but she just had to do this immediately. She stopped the car at the local police station. No one had noticed her turn on the voice recorder app on her phone inside her purse.

Izuku quietly came out of his bedroom after changing into some new clothes. He wanted nothing more than to lock himself in his room, but he knew that he shouldn't. His mother deserved to know the truth. He still had hardly said anything, besides sobbing to her since she saw him naked on the playground. He entered the living room and saw her sitting comfortably on the couch. She had managed to calm down after leaving that wretched school and delivered its death sentence on a silver platter to the police.

Izuku walked up to his mother and stood in front of her looking down at his feet. Inko frowned. She had a feeling Izuku would behave this way and how he would respond. He refused to sit down next to her or look her in the eye. At least it didn't take him too long to start talking.

"I'm sorry mom. You think I'm a good son, but I've been lying to you for years. I'm so sorry!" New streams of tears ran down his face. The boy couldn't even be relieved that his abusers had been found out. He still found a way to blame himself. Then again, that's what years of being stepped on can do to a child.

Inko knelt down and embraced Izuku for what felt like the hundredth time that day. "No Izuku. It's not your fault. You didn't do anything wrong. I should've realized how much you were suffering." Inko kept her voice low. Izuku had been around enough shouting for the day.

"But I told you lies. I told you I was fine, but I wasn't."

"That doesn't matter right now. All that matters is that you're safe and those kids won't hurt you anymore. You'll never have to set foot in that school again."

Was this real? Was this right? Could he really be happy? These questions kept going through Izuku's mind. It's been so long since he had been truly happy. He had always feared it would be taken away like the moment he found out what his quirk was. Maybe it was ok to allow himself just this once?

Izuku slowly looked up at this mother formed a wobbly smile on his face.

"I don't have to go to school anymore?"

Inko formed a wobbly smile like her sons.

AN: I'm back! It's been a long time. Some of you may know me from my previous fanfics. Unfortunately, I got busy with other things and had to take a break. I have the desire to write again, but I've lost interest in those other stories. I've been reading a lot of amazing MHA fanfics and want to write one of my own. I hope you all enjoy this!
