A New Clowny friend:
NOTES: Rubynite's version of older Jojo is featured here.
I was inspired to do this story series by reading stories by other writers heavy5commando and Claircrystal.
Lucy's eyes being shown is based from a picture from Deviantart user cjose1559.
In the town of Royal Woods, Michigan, in a big fabulous mansion, where the only boy, and middle child of the loud family, Lincoln Loud, lived with his Aunt Shirley, and his 3 closest sisters, Leni, Luna, and Lily. Since the 'bad luck' fiasco. these 4 Loud children were taken in by their aunt, became superheroes, and defend the town from troublemakers, with their other siblings assisting them on occasion. One morning, after breakfast, Lincoln and his sisters were watching a special news report by the city news reporter, Katherine Mulligan...
Katherine Mulligan: Hello, Royal Woods, this is your favorite news reporter, Katherine Mulligan speaking. It appears we have a famous clown family moving into the neighborhood. From Clowntown, we have Johanna Claire Tickle, or 'Jojo' for short, and her parents, Peaches and David here!
After Lincoln and his sisters watched Katherine interview the Tickle family, (in which the family all agreed that they wanted to try and see how their lives as clowns would be welcome in Royal Woods) They saw where the Tickles were residing...
Lincoln: They're staying in the Santiago's old house!
Leni: Oooh, let me see! (looks closer, and sees that Lincoln was right) Wow, Linky, they're so cheery!
Luna: Dude, I think Luan would love Jojo and her folks!
Lincoln: Exactly, which us why I have a plan...
Lincoln, Leni, Luna, and Lily then huddled together to talk about the plan...
Lincoln: It's called 'Operation-Welcome-The-New-Family-To-Town.' Leni, can you make a new dress for Jojo?
Leni: I've got the perfect style for her!
Lincoln: Luna, can you welcome the Tickles with a terrific rock jam?
Luna: You got it, bro! (gets out her purple guitar)
Lincoln: Lily, you've also got an important job. Can you entertain them will your special skills of building blocks?
Lily: (nods) Ya-Ya!
Lincoln: (calls out to Shirley) Hey, Aunt Shirley, could you call Dad, and ask him to make his special Lynn-sagna for the new family?
Shirley: Oh, of course, dear, that new family seems really nice. I think your sisters and parents would love to meet the Tickles, too!
Lincoln: (to his sisters and aunt) Alright, everyone, let's do this.
Lincoln and his family then spent the whole morning preparing to welcome the Tickles to Royal Woods. Leni was making a new colorful dress for the Tickles' daughter, Luna was coming up with a good rocking song, and at the loud house, Lynn Sr. was making his lasagna perfect, etc. Rita called Lori from college to tell her about the Tickle family, where she would be happy to drive back to town to see them. The entire Loud family showed up together at the Tickles' new home that afternoon...
Lynn Sr: Well Loud family, let's show the Tickle family how we do things in Royal Woods!
His wife Rita, their kids, and Shirley nodded in agreement, then Lincoln rang the doorbell, and waited for the clown family to answer. The door opened to reveal David, Peaches, and their daughter Jojo, an teenage clown girl, with red hair, white-painted face, wearing a blue beret, a yellow shirt with different painted colors on it, red pants, and red clown shoes...
Rita: Hello, Tickle family, welcome to Royal Woods!
Peaches: Why, thank you!
Lynn Sr.: I made you some of one of my best Lynn-sagnas! (gives David a tray of lasagna)
David: (chuckles) Well, we can surely have this for dinner tonight.
Jojo: Hi, I'm Jojo. (giggles and smiles) I'm a clown.
Luan: Wow, Jojo, you still have that charm and enthusiasm you have since you were six! (she and the Tickle family, who were amused, laughed)
Peaches: We've had many people pass by our house, greeting us this morning!
Shirley: Can't say I'm not surprised, with you guys being famous circus clowns and all.
Luna: I wrote you guys a special song, that is if you want to hear it.
David: Of course! If it's about us, we love to hear it! Come on inside, everyone, and we can listen to it!
The Loud family and Shirley came inside the Tickles' new home, where they were fascinated by their style. After Luna had performed her new song to the clown family, (which they all loved) everyone else introduced themselves to the tickles, and gave them their gifts that they made for them, (Jojo was ecstatic when Leni showed her the new dress she made for her) and got to know each other while eating cupcakes and drinking cups of hot cocoa. (which Peaches made, as she was an excellent baker) Later, Jojo, the clown daughter, saw that Lucy's eyes were covered by her hair...
Jojo: Lucy, why are you hiding your eyes under your hair?
Lynn Jr.: Let's just say... she could silently look at us for a long time without blinking...
Rita: ...to the rest of us, it creeped us out, so we chose not to cut her hair, and let her bangs grow there.
Jojo: (in curiosity) Lucy, could I take a look at your eyes?
Lucy: (gloomy) Sure, it's your funeral.
The clown girl slowly moved Lucy's hair... and saw her black eyes. Jojo was creeped out herself for a second, but composed herself, and gave the goth girl some advice...
Jojo: Lucy, I think you should show your eyes more often.
Lucy: (confused) You really think so?
Jojo: (nods) Yes. But I also think you should not use that stare on people unless it's absolutely necessary. It's okay to blink once in a while.
Lucy: Well, what would the Mortician's Club think if I came in showing my eyes?
Jojo: (laughs) I think your club would be amazed that you're not going to hide your eyes anymore. (gets out a hairclip) Speaking of which, I got the perfect accessory to hold your hair up!
Jojo pushed Lucy's hair back near her forehead, put the hairclip on it, then revealed to the loud family the new and improved Lucy Loud!
Lori: Wow. Jojo literally had gotten Lucy to show her eyes to us.
Rita: And more importantly, told her how not to keep staring all the time.
Luan: It sure seems like Jojo has an eye for detail! (laughs) Get it?
The Loud family groaned when Luan made her usual pun. However, the Tickles giggled at it. The Louds themselves wanted to know wanted to know what the clown family did before moving to Royal Woods...
Jojo: Well. I've done a TV show named for myself, 'Jojo's Circus' that became successful. My now long-distance boyfriend, Skeebo, was our class clown.
Luan: Hey, could you call Skeebo, and ask him if he would like to come visit Royal Woods? I'd love to show him my ways of clowning around. (laughs)
Jojo: I'll certainly ask him, Luan.
Lola: Do you wear jewelry or other accessories?
Jojo: As a matter of fact, Lola... (pulls back her hair on the sides of her head to show two gold earrings on her ears) I do wear some jewelry.
Lola gasped in surprise at seeing the clown girl's ears.
Lana: Do you guys have any reptiles? I bet I can set them up with my own reptile pets, Hops, Izzy, and El Diablo!
Peaches: Well, Lana, we don't own any reptiles, but we are friends with a snake family back in Clowntown!
David: Yeah, and our daughter had a pet lion named Goliath!
Lana: (gasps) Cool! Where do you keep him?!
Jojo: (sadly) Unfortunately, Lana, Goliath eventually grew too big for our home back in Clowntown so me and my parents had brought him to our town's zoo there. Not to worry, though, we made sure they're taking care of him there, and we still had visited him frequently.
Lana breathed a sigh of relief when Jojo said she and her parents were still helping out their former pet lion, and making sure he was taken care of. Later, the Loud family and Shirley were getting ready to go home...
Rita: Well, we certainly had a good time!
Leni: We hope we can visit you clowns again!
Peaches: Of course! You're always welcome here.
Jojo: I can't wait to learn what other fun things there are to do in Royal Woods!
Lincoln: I think this is the beginning of a great friendship!
The Tickle and Loud family said goodbye to each other, before the Louds drove off up the street, with the Tickles watching them go from their new house. This was a great experience for both families, knowing that they will see each other again.
