Fuck... where the hell is this headache coming from? It feels like something pierced through my skull. I slowly open my eyes only to see giant letters forming in front of me.
Congratulations!
You are ded!
"What the fuck!?" Those are the first words I said as I bolted upwards. I looked around and I wasn't in my bed anymore. Instead, I'm in outer space surrounded by an ocean of stars with these two words to keep me company. This is starting to look like one of those gamer stories I've been reading about. The ones where the protagonist gets broken skills and a ton of girls. I chuckle. "Well, I'm not gonna complain about the girls bit and I already have a skill in mind."
Choose one random ability from the Multiverse Store(First time users get one item from the store for free)
I blink a few times to see that I'm reading it right. "I don't even get to choose!?" Then I read the rest. "Wait, I have to pay!?" Is the ROB or God or whatever an idiot or something!? What kind of system makes the user pay for their skills!? "Whoever came up with this is an asshole!"
Ability acquired!
Clear save data from Persona 5 Royal gained!
Would you like to load from the previous save file?
[Yes] [No]
"...wait, what?" I gaped as I read those words. My ability is my save file from P5 Royal!? I played the original a dozen times and did the same for the expansion. I spent dozens of hours maxing out my MC along with the Phantom Thieves making them OP as fuck. With a huge grin, I press the [Yes] button with glee.
I am a big fan of the franchise and have even played a couple of Shin Megami Tensei titles. I may not be a full blown expert, but I like to think I know enough to have a good time.
"Hehe... I can't wait to fight Shadows and form a hare-"
Choose a random world to enter.
"Oh come on!" I scream and then a red lottery box appears in front of me.
Please pick a world from the lottery box.
I put my hand in the box and slowly pulled out an envelope. "Please don't be Dragon Ball, Naruto, One Piece, Bleach or any shounen anime. I really don't wanna die on my first day." I open the envelope and slowly open my eyes only to widen in horror.
Nasuverse
"Fuck me." Of all the worlds, it has to be the one with magic, literal gods, gender bent heroes (which I don't mind), and a chalice that grants wishes except not really because it'll kill everyone if some idiot makes a wish.
And the mages.
Oh god, the mages.
Those stuck-up sociopaths with their huge hard-on with touching the universe or something. They are willing to do anything - and I mean anything - to reach that goal, no matter how inhumane those methods are. They make Voldemort look like a child throwing a tantrum.
Heck, they'll definitely cut me open the second they find out about me.
There is no magical adventure in this world, only Survival of the Fittest. Magi treat regular humans like livestock, tools for whatever godforsaken rituals they come up with, just to prove that they're better than other mages.
I mean, just look at the Holy Grail War. A ritual where seven magi summon heroes from the distant past (or future) to fight to the death while using Fuyuki City as their battleground, endangering innocent lives in the process. Even if the creators had the best intentions in mind, that does not excuse them for what it led to.
Also don't get me started on Dead Apostles: overpowered magical vampires with fuck-you magic and Reality Marbles. They can create zombies or whatever's convenient for them. I swear they are even more annoying than mages.
Well... except a certain princess but she's nothing like those weirdos.
Did I also mention that they can create zombies?

Loading complete! All stats have been reverted back to level 1 and all Personas are now locked.
"Eh?" Is all I can say. All of the time I spent raising my character... all of the Personas I managed to obtain and buy... gone. And now I have to venture into that crazy world without any sort of protection!?
"I NEEDED THAT!"
Don't be such a baby. Besides, wouldn't it raise suspicion if mages see you doing superhuman feats so early in the game? Plus, I was kind enough to let you keep all of your items so appreciate it.
Wait, you can talk!? Wait, that's not important. I still have all of my [Items]? That could be useful.
Okay, take a deep breath. This is fine, I can do this. Personas are basically the original Heroic Spirits without any of the downgrades that they get when magus summons them. They don't require mana to keep them tangible in the real world and I can call them back and forth whenever I want because they're part of my psyche. I should be fine as long as I don't end up in some crazy situation before I manage to level up.
Plus, what are the odds I will end up in Fuyuki before the Holy Grail War begins?
Good luck, playa. There's no SAVE or LOAD from now on. It's up to you and Fate.
Was that supposed to be a reference or something? I feel like I heard them from somewhere before.
Well whatever, better watch out world because a Wild Card is coming your way... and I am not bearing gifts.
Until we meet again.
With that, darkness consumes me.
The sounds of rustling wind as an ice cold sensation overtake my senses. It's freezing! My eyes immediately snap open to the sight of a forest covered in snow.
"Shit, it's cold!" I bolt upwards and wrap myself with my arms in a vain attempt to stay warm. I then notice that I have no clothes on except for a dirty rag to cover my privates. "Why am I naked!?" I slowly begin walking. "I'm in the middle of nowhere, likely about to freeze to death!" I let out a sneeze. "How can this possibly get worse!?"
*Grr*
Something rustles in the bushes and a pack of wolves walk out of their hiding place.
"Me and my big mouth." I grumble.
The wolves slowly approach me, their mouth covered in drool and eyes trained to their target. It doesn't take a genius to figure out these guys want to eat me, so I did the most logical thing a 22-year-old man from the year 2022 would do.
I run.
I run as fast as my fat legs can take me.
One of the wolves, their leader most likely, howls as the pack begins to chase me down. I run aimless throughout the snow-filled forest, but no matter how fast I run I can't seem to shake these guys. This would be a good time to use a Persona.
Persona Compendium has not been unlocked yet.
"Screw you!"
I keep running until I trip and slide down a slope, but even then the wolves do not stop their chase as one of them manages to bite me in my stomach.
"AHHHHHHH!" I scream from the bite; fuck this hurts!
I kick the wolf away and land at the bottom of the slope with a loud thumb. Blood flows out of my shredded stomach like a waterfall in large quantities.
It hurts, and it's cold.
The pack of wolves slowly made their way towards me. Is this how I die? Getting eaten by wolves no less than 10 minutes after being isekai here?
"Such... misfortune..." I managed to get out. The wolves pounce, ready to gorge on their meal.
*BANG!*
I jolt at the sudden sound as I see one of the wolves fall to the ground, its blood dying the snow red. Was that a gunshot? Suddenly, more shots can be heard as more wolves die from their wounds. One of the corpses falls in front of me, its blood getting all over me. I struggle to keep my eyes open as a blurry figure comes into view and kneels in front of me.
Everything goes dark...
It's so soft...
Where am I?
I slowly open my eyes and the first thing that greets me is an unfamiliar ceiling and dim light coming from a large window next to me.
"Oh thank goodness you're awake."
I look to my left and see a beautiful silver-haired woman sitting beside me. She is wearing a long white gown with gold trimming and has ruby-colored eyes.
"Iris... viel...?" I asked groggily, blinking a couple of times to make sure I'm not hallucinating. I try to move but let out a pained moan as a result.
"Oh, please try not to move. Your wounds haven't completely healed yet." The albino woman said. "To be honest, I'm surprised there was another Einzbern homunculus here besides me though I have never seen one so small before."
Wait what?
I glance at a mirror behind her and see a boy with white hair and red eyes. It only takes me a second to realize that I was staring at my reflection.
"What the hell...?" I mumble under my breath. I regressed back into a child!? And I look like a child version of Kiritsugu!
This cannot be happening!
Suddenly the door makes a creaking noise as a man with a black suit and black hair walks in with a cigarette in hand.
My eyes widen as I see Kiritsugu fucking Emiya walking in. The Magus Killer! One of the few people in this stupid world that can strike fear in magi; their very own living bogeyman! I don't know if I should squeal right now or wet my pants!
"Geez Kiri! Didn't I tell you not to smoke in here!?" Irisviel pouted.
Kiritsugu lets go of his cigarette and crushes it on the floor. "Sorry Iri."
Irisviel smiles.
"How's our guest?" Kiritsugu asked.
"He just woke up right now." Irisviel said as Kiritsugu walked closer. "I didn't know Grandpa Archt had activated another homunculus and a child nonetheless."
"Hm." Kiritsugu looks at me analytically, making a jolt as I feel something crawling down my spine. "We'll have to talk to him about this later."
"Mama?"
The two look back to see a little girl standing by the door. She has silver hair and red eyes and is wearing pink pajamas. On her right hand is a white stuffed bear.
"Illya! What are you doing up so late!?" Irisviel asked.
"Mm, couldn't sleep. Had a bad dream." Illya groggily said.
Irisviel stands up and walks towards Illya and picks her up. "Tell you what? How about I sleep with you tonight?"
Illya's eyes beam up. "Really!? Will you read me a bedtime story, too!?"
Her mother smiles. "Of course."
"Yay!"
I couldn't help but smile at the family moment. It was so touching and adorable. I glance at Kiritsugu who is just standing there frozen at the scene with a blank expression.
Illya looks up and our eyes meet. "Who's he Mama? He kind of looks like Papa."
Irisviel turns to my direction. "Oh! He is someone your father saved while hunting."
"Is he going to be my new big brother?" Illya asks cutely.
*Cough!* The two of us cough at once at the sudden question.
Irisviel looks equally surprised and fidgets a little. "W-Well... that is-"
"That is for your grandfather to decide." Kiritsugu speaks up, already settled down.
Illya looks at her father and pouts. "But he is mean! He doesn't let me play outside!"
"He is still your grandfather and the head of this house. We have to respect his wishes." Kiritsugu states.
Illya looks down saddened. "Okay..." She then looks at me and waves. "Bye-bye!"
"B-Bye." I replied and the duo walked out of the room.
With the two gone, Kiritsugu then turns to me. I feel anxious as those cold dead eyes of his stare at me.
"Who are you? What were you doing in the forest?" He asks, his killing intent leaking out.
I jolt at the sudden oppressive feeling. A tiny squeak comes out of my mouth. I can't stop shaking. I'm too scared to even breathe.
"I... don't... know..."
"Do you know where you are?"
I shake my head in a no.
For a moment, neither of us said a single word. Then the oppressive feeling quickly recedes and vanishes. "Get some rest." With his piece said, the Magus Killer walks out of the room.
After a second, I start to hyperventilate. " Fuck, that was intense! I thought he was going to kill me for a second!" I desperately try to get myself under control but I can't! That man is capable of killing anyone so long as he has the tools to do it. He could have snapped my neck the moment his wife and daughter left the room! Why did he spare me!? Is it because he believes I have some relation to the Einzberns!?
I smack my face a few times. 'Alright, don't think too much about it. I'm just trapped in a castle in the middle of nowhere with a magical assassin and a family of magi who are more obsessed with immortality than the magical ghoul who lives in the basement.' My enthusiasm quickly deflates. "Oh god, I am so fucked."
Not to mention this is around the time a bunch of events would be taking place. Saber's summoning, Sakura's adoption to the Matous, the death of Kirei's wife (I think) among many others that I'm not going to list out.
And then there's Kiritsugu.
The poor guy.
This upcoming war will take everything from him, betrayed by the same ideals he fought all of his life to achieve. All it takes is one bad day to turn his life upside down. If he hadn't found Shirou in the ashes of the aftermath, he would've most likely killed himself.
However, as much as I pity the guy, I'm not gonna go around blindly saving everyone in front of me. I'm smarter than that. Plus I don't have any intention of becoming some pawn or a lab rat thank you very much.
Also what do I have in my save file and how do I access them? It's not like I was given a manual on how to use it.
"Menu?" I weakly asked only to get no reaction. Did that voice lie to me? Am I really powerless in this mess-up world? I quickly snap myself out of those grim thoughts; I need to try harder.
"Open." I commanded with my whole being. I don't know if it's because I used a different word or because of the authoritative tone I used, but a transparent screen appears in front of me with a very familiar color scheme. (A/N: Think of the character screen when you pause the game)

Welp, I'm weak as shit. Why am I not surprised? Hm, I wonder why is my [Knowledge] higher than the rest though? It's likely because I would read the Nasuverse wiki every once in a while and just recently watched all three of the Heaven's Feel movies.
"But why is my name blank though? That's weird." I remark only to have it followed by a yawn. "I guess I'll figure out the rest tomorrow."
I close my eyes and go to sleep.
At the same time:
"No Magic Circuits?" A bewildered Kiritsugu asked.
"That is correct." Said the older man in front of him. He has silver hair and beard as well as red eyes much like Irisviel and his daughter but empty. He is wearing all-white robes with gold trimmings giving him the appearance of a high priest or an old king. "It is impossible for a homunculus to be created without Magic Circuits. The very idea of it even occurring disturbs me."
To say that Kiritsugu was surprised by the response is an understatement. For all the years he's been employed here, never once has he seen Jubstacheit von Einzbern so… perplexed about anything. He usually acts more collected as befitting the head of a Magus family.
But that wasn't what was concerning him right now.
"Why does he look like me?" He hadn't noticed it until Illya pointed it out, but the homunculus did resemble him a lot; eerily identical.
"As you are aware, the Einzbern family's main goal is winning the Holy Grail War and, by extension, regaining Third Magic. For that we needed the perfect vessel to achieve victory. We injected your remaining sperm into an artificial egg in the hopes of growing a backup Grail vessel should either Irisveil or Illyasviel prove to be defective. I had intended for it to inherit your fighting skills and magecraft; however, an unforeseen defect caused the body to be born without Magic Circuits and thus the project was deemed a failure."
Kiritsugu could not believe what he was hearing. This old bastard had the audacity to clone him without his consent and was going to dispose of his son because he wasn't meeting up to his expectations!?
'You bastard…!' Kiritsugu mentally snarls at the old head as he continues talking.
"A homunculus without Magic Circuits is no different than a regular human, thus it is useless to us. It was thrown into the homunculi disposal yard but it seems fate had other plans for that abomination." Jubstacheit remarked.
"...what do you want me to do with him?" Kiritsugu asked with no emotion in his voice. He is no stranger when it comes to doing jobs for the Einzberns. There have been Einzbern Homunculus who have gone rogue over the years he's stayed in this castle. However, he is having second thoughts as to the fact he may have to kill his only son.
"Do what you want with it, it makes no difference to me. You can either kill it or give it to Irisviel, she seems to be obsessed with the concept of family these days." With that, the 8th head of the Einzbern family walks away not even acknowledging the intense glare he was receiving from the Magus Killer.
The sun's rays slowly make their way from the window to my bed and directly to my face. I slowly open my eyes and let out a yawn. I look around and realize that I'm still in the Einzbern castle.
"So it wasn't a dream. I really am in the Fate universe." I mumbled. It's still so bizarre, I'm in an anime series that I've watched for years, de-aged who knows by how many years and in a body that I'm going to assume is a weird attempt at creating a homunculus clone of Kiritsugu Emiya.
Is it crazy that I'm not as freaked out as I should be? Maybe? Probably?
"Haa… I shouldn't think too much about this or I'll drive myself crazy." I tell myself as the game screen pops up. "I should check what else I have here." I press the [Items] button.

"Wow, I sure have a lot of stuff. I didn't even know I had some of these items in my inventory." I remarked. It's a trend of mine to play RPGs at least twice if they have New Game+. With the Persona series, I've played the numbered titles at least twice in a row on a harder difficulty.

"Damn, I am gonna be so OP." I said.
Suddenly, I'm caught off guard by the creaking sound of the door as I quickly close my game window and Irisviel and Kiritsugu walk inside.
"Good morning. Did you sleep well?" Irisviel asked with a smile on her face.
I nod.
"That's wonderful! I was so worried something might have happened to you!" She said, "The thing is… we've been talking it over and wanted to ask you something." Irisviel actually looks anxious about it.
"How would you like to be adopted?"
My eyes widened at the question. They want to adopt me? That I honestly did not expect, but then again I'm a child with the soul and personality of an old man so why not. It's not like I have anywhere else to go really. Kiritsugu could train me in combat and teach me his magecraft. Innate Time Control was my second favorite magecraft; the first being Tracing. Plus Illya could use the positive reinforcement so that she doesn't end up like she does in Fate/Stay Night.
The answer was pretty obvious.
"Okay." Is all I said.
Irisviel's smile grows. "Yay! I have a son now!" She gives me a bone-crushing hug.
"Ow…" I moaned as her hug crushes my little bones.
"Iri. Remember he hasn't fully healed yet." Kiritsugu said.
Irisviel hastily lets me go, her face flustered. "S-Sorry." That's when she remembers something. "By the way, do you have a name?"
I shake my head in a no. While I did have my original name, I can't exactly use it. It feels… wrong somehow. This body likely wasn't given one as it was left to die in the forest to be eaten by wolves or whatever else was in that place.
The original soul no longer exists, but the body yearns for a name. I can feel it.
"Alright then. How about…" Irisviel cups her chin for a minute. She then snaps her fingers. "Theo… Theodore von Einzbern."
I just blink at the name. Theodore. It just reminds me of Theodore from Persona 3 Portable. He is the third youngest out of the four (sometimes five) Velvet Siblings. He is polite and always serious which is why he takes things at face value, usually with humorous repercussions. He believes he knows a lot about the world but it always ends with getting something wrong which ends with me chuckling a little.
Overall, not a bad name plus it makes me sound distinguished.
"Sure." I told her.
If Irisviel wasn't happy before, she is now. She wraps her arms around me and traps me in another bone-crushing hug. I desperately try to wiggle myself out but her grip is too strong and faint from the lack of air.
Irisviel sees my soul coming out of my mouth and attempts to bring me back to life all the while Kiritsugu lets out a sigh at her wife's antics.
Author Notes
Well, now I'm excited. My first ever crossover story. I had this idea floating around since November and decided now to write it down.
So it's basically going to be a semi gamer story with almost no commentary from the system itself like my other stories.
If you guys don't like it, its gone forever but if you do then great.
So let me know what you think and I'll have something up next month or so. Or not. It's up to you.
Peace~
