The Fun Gang stood in front of a great, rectangular door in the shape of Tennas grinning face. It was made from a white marble with golden and red accents, fitting rather well to the hotel like inside of Tenna Rook´s signal tower.

"So this has to be it. Right? We had to fight a bunch of his minions to get here. Do you think we will find Undnye and Toriel here?", Susie wondered aloud.

"Maybe. Or maybe not", Ralsei said doubtfully. "It felt like the shadow men and battle drones were rather leading us towards this place. This may be another set up."

"There is only one way to know", the soul spoke trough Kris, but in this case they were sharing the entity's opinion.

They opened up the door and lead their friends into the next room. It was huge and looked like the inside of a movie theater. Everything was covered in red velvet. Ivy-like plants with yellow flowers grew trough cracks on the ceiling. Cartoon Darkners sat in the padded seats. Some ate popcorn in boredom, while others greeted the appearance of the Delta Warriors with excited whispers.

At the other end of the room there was a wide screen with a wooden podium in front of it.

None of the Darkner attacked, so the trio walked the red carpet, which divided the rows of seats in the middle, and made it to the podium.

Suddenly, the projectors activated themselves and the whispers became even more exited.

Tennas black face was projected on the screen, the ever so present grin shining in the dark.

"And so the heroes have arrived at their destination! After encountering many hurdles and dangers, will they find their dear mother and reformed enemy or is their quest doomed to fail? For we will see-"

"Cut the crap, Tenna!", Susie interrupted. "Show us were Toriel and Undyne are or else you will need a dentist to reconstruct your `show runner smile´!"

For a moment, Tennas face lit up as a test pattern in irritation and his smile turned into a snarl. But then the TV head regained his cool.

"So eager to save their folks oh my. Such willingness to proceed should be rewarded. Everyone, give our stars some applause, why wont you?"

The cartoons started clapping. Susie growled, frustrated that Tenna twisted every word of hers into his script. Ralsei placed a hand on her comfortingly, even though the Prince of Darkness was tired of this show himself.

By now, even Kris regretted of having opened up the fountain.

Unfortunately for all of them, this adventure was still far from over.

"Now to the main event. The reason why everyone has come together to this place."

Static filled the screen. When it disappeared there was a room to be seen that looked like a medieval dungeon. Tenna's entire body was in view, still standing on his levitating apparatus. Behind him, Undyne and Toriel were chained up on the walls, seemingly unconscious. Kris stiffened up significantly at the sight of this, while Susie´s grip around her axe became tighter and even Ralsei looked like he might abandon his pacifistic views to `teach´ a certain show host a lesson or two.

Tenna tapped with his foot on his apparatus and it summoned a turning wheel with several colored fields into the dungeon.

"This challenge will be the greatest of all for our dear heroes. They have the chance to free their fellow lightners and go home safe and sound. Or end up imprisoned in their own special hell of no escape!"

"Pff, doesnt sound to different from all the other stuff you have let us went trough." Susie still tried to agitate the TV Head, to embarrass him in front of his viewers. Unfortunately for her, Tennas smile widened.

"Of course… if it weren't for the case that you have only one shot!" Tenna held one finger up dramatically to give the one shot part more weight. "If you manage to stop the wheel of fate at the right moment, at the right spot, you did it. Hurray! But if you stop at any of the other spots, you will be send to a certain area of my tower and will forever participate there. So it will either be the lightners victory or the darkness eternal amusement. Choose wisely light bringers!"

"You´ve got to be kidding me!", Susie yelled while all the darkners in the room cheered. All except for one.

"Wait, which color is the spot that we have to get?" Ralsei asked. Tenna just smirked and pointed at a small grey area among the wide and brightly colored fields of the wheel.

The Prince of the dark glared as Tenna let the wheel spin and exclaimed: "Goooood luck Heroes!"

The Fun Gang just waited, trying to wait for the right moment.

"Stop!", they yelled at the souls command. The wheel started to slow down. The gray line approached the black arrow that hung over the wheel. The Fun Gang eyes widened hopefully. The wheel stopped and the arrow was pointing at the gray line. And then it suddenly jerked forward and the arrow was now pointing at a white field.

"Oh come on! We basically won! You rigged it!", Susie yelled in frustration.

Tenna put a hand on his chest in mocking fake shock.

"Who? Me? I would never do such a thing. This must have been some form of strange phenomenon. Maybe you can research and figure it out alongside the SCIENCE CHANNEL!"

Static surrounded Susie and she disappeared.

"Susie!", Ralsei yelled in panic while Kris could only stand there, desperately fighting against the control of the soul and wishing they could do just… something in this situation.

Meanwhile the crowd cheered and Ralsei turned towards them with a scowl.

"How do you find this entertaining? Why are all of you supporting this tyrant so much?"

Before one of the darkners could answer, Tenna interrupted by spinning the wheel yet again, exclaiming: "And yet again the wheel of fate is spinning, the heroes running out of time. So don´t waste your time…" The TV heads smile became menacing, as his teeth suddenly sharpened. "…or time will waste you!"

The Fun Gang tried again, with less hope this time. Again it almost appeared they would win, only for the wheel to twitch and the arrow landing on a deep red field.

"Oohhh", Tenna fake winced. "The horror channel. Tough luck kid. It seems our dear sweet prince has to battle his way trough countless fear inducing enemies."

"W-wait… me? But wouldn't Kris be a better choice for…"

Ralsei too disappeared in a cloud of static. Tenna chuckled.

"Funny how he thinks I would question or change a result by chance. A result shown by fate itself. After all…" Static filled the face of Tenna. He gave Kris another sharp teethed smile. "… its not like our choices matter. Right Kris?"

"Now for the final choice! Will the young knight succeed or follow his companions into the fiery pits of failure! Time wisely Kris!"

Kris sighed and waited what the soul would do. After unenthusiastically yelling "Stop!", the wheel slowed down. The arrow came close to the gray line, but would most likely hit the blue field aside it. But then the whole room, no, the whole building shook, which caused the wheel to clutter forward until the arrow hit a rather peculiar field.

It appeared to have been once colored pink and green but has been badly scribbled over by a black marker. When Tenna saw the result, he looked oddly… disappointed? Confused?

It was hard for Kris to pinpoint the exact emotion of the TV head. But when he spoke, his voice lacked his usual loud tone and dramatic flair.

"Oh… its… the trash zone…"

One of the cartoons stood up. "Wait a minute, I recolonize that coloration under the markings. It looks like it represents the ro-"

"I SAID ITS THE TRASH ZONE!", Tenna loudly interrupted. The darkner flinched in fear and hastily sit down. All the other ones muttered nervously among themselves.

Said TV head turned his attention to the blue human.

"Well… looks like the final plot twist has been turned. It is truly a shame I couldn't keep you for a longer time period. But at last…" Tennacracked a sinister smile while the black of his face screen glowed blood red. Static surrounded Kris. "… imagining the CRUELTY you will endure is entertaining enough for me. If she wanted to make me suffer, what will she do to the family of her?"

Tenna looked at the still unconscious Toriel and laughed as the static completely swallowed Kris up.

For several second they couldn't hear nothing but the maddening noise of static, cutting trough their ears like some form of glitchy whispering. Their eyes could only see gray and white and black particles swirling around. While they heard nothing but the buzzing of the static. It sounded like… garbage noise.

Before Kris could listen more closly, the static disappeared and the human found themselves falling down a dark pit.

The air roared in Kris´ ears. They fell down a round, wide shaft. Gray cement walls rushed past them and Kris hastily searched for ledges or anything else that might slow their fall. But there was nothing.

Kris started to panic, they even sensed concern from the red soul as well.

But before they could completly panic they´re fall was suddenly stopped. Tough, instead of ending up like a paint filled balloon on Asriels and Dess heads (the young human regretted many thing, but this prank wasn´t one of them), their body was cushioned by something soft. Or rather many soft somethings.

Kris blinked. An oddly familiar floral scent filled the air. Their mind needed a moment to realize the fact that they weren't dead. Once the reality sunk in, relief filled the blue human. For a moment Kris did nothing but lay there, enjoying the air filling their lungs and their bones not being pulverized. One would think having a soul that reset your own death would make Kris lose fear of it. But that was far from being true. Having seen themselves and their friends die for the first time made Kris realize… how fragile life was. And that the pain, and the memories it carved into ones brain, knew no limits.

Once they got up, the soul immediately spotted a save point and used it. Kris welcomed its warm power washing over them and healing some of the wounds they got from battling Tenna´s minions.

Then they looked around to see where they were.

Trash Zone, as Tenna called it, was a fitting name. The ground of the round chasm was filled with a lot of old film equipment and other junk, creating rows of hills, even small mountains. The individual items and constructs looked all worn out, broken beyond repair or both. It was all overgrown with ivy like plants that possessed flowers of a sickly yellow. The very same type of plant that Kris saw all over the city and the ceiling of the cinema hall.

The very same type of plant where Kris was always hearing a girly giggle.

Looking to their side the blue human saw that their fall had been cushioned by a field of similar flowers. Tough they were a beautiful golden instead of yellow and their coloration gave a stark contrast to the gloomy and dark place.

With having nothing better to do, the soul guided their vessel trough the small paths that snaked their way between the trash hills. Kris steps echoed loudly in the quit place.

"Hi hi hi!"

Had there been a giggle? The same giggle Kris heard in the presence of yellow flowers? They wanted to stop and listen more closely, but the soul continued to proceed.

"HI HI HI!"

Turns out they didn't need to stop, they were getting closer to the source of the giggling and maybe even the yellow flowers themselves.

Kris and the soul reached the other side of the chasm. There was a circular space, free from all the garbage. The stained concrete that made up the shaft's floor and walls was easy to see. As well as the thick roots that penetrated it. In the middle of this place, with its back to Kris, stood a figure giggling loudly to itself.

"HOW EXITING! TO HAVE A VISITOR AGAIN! AND ALL IT TOOK WAS TO LITERALLY SHAKE UP THE GAMES OF THE ROOK! WOW ICH HATTE GAR NICHT GEPLANT DAS GANZE SICH REIMEN ZU LASSEN. HIHIHAHAHAHA! UND DAS BESTE… IT´S NOT ANY GUEST, BUT YOU! IT´S YOU KRIS."

The figure turned around. It was a humanoid, female darkner, a bit smaller than Kris.

She wore a strapless ball gown with a wide skirt that reached the ground and once upon a time must have been white. Now it was brownish from all the dirt down here. A dark, broken heart was depicted on the chest, while the hem of the dress was adorned with wilted blooms of various flowers.

Her arms were covered in dark green gloves that reached the top of her arms and ended in leaf-like outgrowths. The skin was a pale green in comparison. The face had a wide smile showing thorn like teeth. The right eye was wide and staring intensely at Kris. The left eye was covered by the darkners long hair, which looked like a withered thorn bush. A yellow rose grew from it, positioned over the place where the left eye should be.

The hands were folded in front of the lap in a ladylike pose.

The plant based darkner tilted her head, while her smile somehow widened.

"HALLO KRIS. IT IS SCHÖN TO SEE YOU."
