Prologue

The Story

80% of humanity is born with unique ability known as "Quirks" in this world.

With Quirks, people born with it can have superpowers, something that only existed in the fantastical world of comic books.

With the rise of Quirk users, some people take on the mantle and profession that existed only in the comic world. They call themselves "Heroes!"

However, not everyone with this beautiful yet powerful gift uses it for goods. Some people use their Quirk to commit crimes. They call themselves "Villains."

The never-ending war between good and evil rages. Heroes rise and defeat the villains, and some even grow in the rank to be the Number 1 Hero around.

Not even everyone who dreams to be a hero does so for fame or glory.

For today's tale, we are diving into a story of a young girl who seeks a certain someone. So let's start from the beginning…

- My Hero Academia –

At a cheap yet decent-looking apartment, an alone girl was sleeping peacefully in her bed.

Her bedroom looked very girly-esque.

The windows have a curtain with red hearts. Shelves are stacked with dolls. Next to the shelves of dolls is a white desktop computer with some pink colors, and the monitor has the same color as the PC machine. The drawer for clothes is red with heart-shaped knobs. There are posters of musicians, bands, and a few anime characters. There are also a calendar, rabbit-shaped wall clock with carrots for clock hands, and a picture of the Virgin Mary.

As the girl snored, the sun rose, and then the alarm clock went off next to her yellow lamp.

"Mmmf-hmmph…" The girl's hand reached for the alarm to stop it.

She pulled her arm back into the warm comfort of her bedding.

"Give me five more minutes," the girl mumbled in her sleep.

Precisely five minutes later, she hopped out of her bed with her eyes wide open.

"Holy Carrot! I got to wake up now!" exclaimed the girl.

The girl stands at around 5 feet and 6 inches. Her hair is a light pinkish color with some white stands and two long white bunny ears pointing upward at the top of her head. Her skin is somewhere between white and brown. So you can say she is a mix of both, like a caramel. She has round, red eyes and a white round tail. Her body has some muscular built, especially her legs.

"I better prepare myself and get to school!" she said as she hurried to get changed.

She rushed into the shower but jumped when hot water came through. She dried her hair and ate quickly. She brushed her teeth, combed her hair, and changed into her school uniform. Of course, she was also wearing her undergarment beneath the uniform. She was wearing the standard UA uniform for female students.

"Thank you for the meal," she said as she made herself a toast and began eating while putting her shoes on.

The rabbit girl got out of her apartment and locked the door behind her. Then, finally, she quickly hopped away to school but greeted her landlord, an elderly lady, who was watering the flower.

"Good morning and goodbye, Ms. Landlord! I will see you later!" the girls waved goodbye as she hopped away.

"Oh, good morning, Usagi-chan. And good luck at school," the landlord replied, but by the time she reacted, she was already a mile away.

This girl's name is Sakura Tsubomi, but everyone calls her Usagi. She is a 15-year-old girl who goes to UA High, a number 1 high school that trains the next generations of heroes. She is part of Class 1-L, which happens to be the smallest hero class and the smallest class of them all at UA High. She is learning and training to be a Pro Hero, but she isn't doing it for fame or money. Instead, she has a noble goal, a goal that only some of her friends and her excellent caretaker know.

As she approached the path that leads to UA High up the hill, she saw some familiar people.

"Good morning, Midoriya, Ida, and Ochaco!" Usagi greeted as she passed them.

"Oh! Um, good morning, Usagi," greeted Midoriya surprisingly.

"Good morning to you, Usagi-san!" Ida greeted enthusiastically.

"Good morning, Usagi-chan," Ochaco waved as she greeted.

As Usagi hopped up the hill, she noticed more familiar people as she greeted them until she met two particular people.

"Good morning, Miru! Good morning, Makoto!" Usagi greeted her two close friends from the same class.

"Good morning, Usagi," Makoto greeted with a smile. She was a girl with a spiky, boyish hairstyle, with the left side being green and the right side being golden color. She wore an eye patch on her left eye.

"Morning," Miru calmly greeted. She was a short girl with dark purple hair, pale skin, and black lips. From her look, you could tell that she is a Goth.

"How are you guys doing?" Usagi asked as she stopped hopping but just began walking.

"I am doing fine," Miru replied.

"Me, too," Makoto answered. "You look pretty peppy today, Usagi. Though, you are always peppy."

Usagi smiled but looked a bit dimwitted. "Really? It must be the weather. Though, if the weather isn't nice as it is now, I would probably jump into a puddle of rain and play in it. Like when I was a little girl. Hahaha!"

The two girls sweat-dropped at her but couldn't help giggle and be happy around Usagi.

The girls entered the school's main building. They took off their shoes and put them into the lockers, where they switched them to their school shoes and put those on. After that, they headed to their homeroom. There they saw that some of their classmates were already in.

"Yo, what's up," one of the students greeted. This student was a young boy named Ellix Francesco Barbados, but everyone called him Eli.

"What's up, Eli," Usagi replied as they greeted with a high-five.

"Morning," another male student said. This boy had a bold head and was playing a handheld video game. His name was Maruto. He was too focused on his video game.

"Good morning," said another male student. This one looked different as he was from a mixed family of African and Japanese background. His name was Tatsumi Kurate.

The other students sitting at the back of the room were two more boys. One of them was a boy with spiky red hair with some orange strands and sharp yellow eyes. The other one was a more handsome young boy with blue hair and sapphire eyes, but interestingly, he had two horns on the top of his head, green reptilian scales on the left side of his face, and around his neck, and a noticeable tail from his behind.

Their names were Ai Scareno or Aku and Yuki Drago

The last student present now was a young girl with long brown hair sleeping with her face down on her desk. This girl's name was Junko, and she was always sleeping due to her health background, but that's another story to tell.

"Good morning, y'all." Usagi, Eli, and others noticed two more students came in. One was a handsome-looking young "male" student with short caramel brown hair with some red streaks and bangs swaying over the right side of his face. The other one behind "him" was a young female student with medium, green hair in a bulb haircut style, tan skin, and red eyes.

"Good morning, Akihiko and Haia!" Usagi greeted as she approached the two people. "Though, I wonder. Is it okay to call you just Akihiko or Akihiko-chan?"

"What do you mean?" Haia asked, looking a bit sternly, which scared Usagi a bit.

"Ah, what I mean is, after learning Akihiko's secret and all, should we still refer to, well, her by her first name normally or you know?" Usagi asked, trying to sound convincing.

Akihiko just laughed.

"It's alright, Usagi. You can call me Akihiko or Akihiko-chan. Though, the last one does sound a bit too long. Why not shorten to Aki then?" Akihiko suggested.

"That sounds like a good idea," Miru noted.

"I agree," Makoto nodded.

"It sounds good in my book!" Eli gave a thumb-up for approval.

"Yup," Tatsumi said.

"Ok! Then, from now on, we will call you Aki, Aki-chan!" Usagi cheered excitedly.

"Just Aki is fine, Usagi," Akihiko suggested.

"Good morning." Everyone turned their attention to the door when two more girls arrived.

"Hi, Arisa! Hi, Felicia! Guess what? We decided to refer to Akihiko with a new nickname. So from now on, we call him, I mean her, I mean Akihiko as Aki-chan!" exclaimed Usagi hesitantly at the last moment.

"I see," Felicia said, sweat dropping.

"That does sound like a good nickname. I like it," Arisa commented.

"I did ask to be called just Aki, right?" Akihiko asked uncertainly.

"Yes. Yes, you did," Haia stated.

"Well, anyway. You can call me Aki, Aki-chan, or just plain ol' Akihiko. I am fine with one of the ways," Akihiko said.

"That sounds a bit confusing but OK," Arisa admitted.

"Thank you for understanding, Aki. I only thought about it last night ever since you admitted to us who you really are. Being all non-binary and stuff. I've never met someone like you before, so I was wondering if it is Ok to call you Aki-kun as in you are being a boy or Aki-chan when you are a girl," Usagi explained.

Aki just smiled. "Well, as I said, I am fine either way. Thank you for thinking of me, Usagi."

"Man, you are very thoughtful, Usagi. Maybe you should've been a class president for just being very caring of others!" Eli said as if it was a compliment

"Teehee! Maybe," Usagi replied.

Eventually, all the class members were present, and the class began for the day with homeroom.

"Good morning, class!" Speed Girl greeted. She was one of the Pro Hero working at UA High as a full-time teacher.

"Good morning, Miss Speed Girl," they all said.

"Well, everyone, the final exam is coming up very soon and after that, summer training camp! So remember not to push yourself too much, but also no slouch either. So let's do our best today!" Speed Girl declared excitedly.

"Oh! I almost forgot, but I want to announce that after the final exam is over, there is an annual UA High Mother Goose Meet and Greet party this month. If you want to invite your mom to the party, you can let them know. The school will also send it by mail."

'UA High Mother Goose Meet and Greet?!' Usagi looked surprised but quickly changed her expression to a calm yet sad face. 'A party where mom can meet other people's moms….'

The school went normal like any other day. Soon, the time passed, and lunch break came. The renowned chef and Pro Hero, Lunch Rush, cooked the lunch meals. While everyone enjoyed Lunch Rush's meals, only one person didn't eat much.

"Usagi. Usagi!" The bunny girl snapped out of her thought.

"Huh?" Usagi looked up to Felicia, looking at her with a worried look. They sat at the same table, alongside Arisa, Kai, Eli, Ochaco, Midoriya, and Ida. "Oh, did you say something, Felicia?"

"I want to know if you are alright, Usagi," Felicia explained as the others nodded.

"You were like staring at your salad like 10 minutes without touching it," Arisa pointed out.

"I was?" Usagi questioned.

"You really were," Ochaco stated.

"You were kind of absent-minded since the first class this morning," Kai noted.

"Is there something on your mind?" Ida asked, looking worried.

"Um, well…. Don't worry, guys! I will be just fine!" Usagi assured with a smile as she gobbled up her salad.

Her friends didn't look convinced. They had a feeling that she wasn't saying something truthful but ignored it for now and returned to their lunch with the time they had left until the next class.

Eventually, the bell rang, saying it was time to go home. All the students packed up their things for the home. The students of Class 1-L did the same. Usagi was still deep about that annual Mother Goose Meet and Greet party.

"Hey, Usagi." Usagi snapped out of her thought again. This time it was Miru who called her. She was standing with Makoto.

"Oh, what's up?" She asked.

"We were asking if you would like to go to the mall after this," Miru said.

"There's a new cupcake shop opened yesterday, and there is a special cupcake on sale. There may even be carrot cupcakes. Do you want to go with us?" Makoko offered.

"Really?" Usagi jumped in excitement but then realized something. "Ah! I mean, thank you for asking, but I have to pass this time. I have something to do after this. So see you guys later and enjoy the cupcakes."

Usagi just left without saying any words. Miru and Makoto were surprised to hear that Usagi didn't accept going with them. They thought she would love to go with them, especially when it involved carrot cupcakes. Her other classmates also noticed her strange behavior.

Usagi walked alone to home. On her way, she did a little grocery shopping at a local grocery store quietly and left quietly to home. Her landlord was sitting on the porch with her pet cat.

"Welcome back home, Usagi-chan. How was school?" The landlord asked, but she just watched Usagi walking upstairs to her apartment and noticing she looked like she wasn't in a mood to talk. She wondered why but didn't ask.

Usagi unlocked the door to her apartment and entered quietly. She put down the grocery on the table, her backpack on the floor, and just collapsed into her bed, with her face on the pillow.

She wrestled and rubbed around until she was facing the ceiling. She couldn't admit it, but she felt sad and worried about the Mother Goose Greet and Meet event. She had a reason. She wondered if she should talk it out to someone, like her friends in UA, but she didn't know if that was a good idea.

Then, she turned to see her computer and noticed that it was in sleep mode. So she walked over and sat in front of her computer and turned it on. It woke up from sleep mode, and she noticed that she had some photos that she downloaded and saved from her Smartphone. The images were ones she took over when she became a UA student. One photo showed her first selfie on the day of the entrance exam. Another one showed her the time Kai saved her at the end of the physical portion of the entrance. The next one showed her first day of UA High, meeting and knowing her classmates, becoming friends with other people from other hero classes. She even got photos of the teachers joining in the group selfie, like Midnight, Present Mic, and even Eraser Head, though the latter was forced into the picture by his fellow faculty staff.

She smiled and chuckled at all the photos she took over time. However, she laughed the most at one photo where she took it when they defeated their first villains during the USJ accident with Aku and Maruto. It even showed one of the defeated villains pulling up a peace sign in the background.

Usagi stopped smiling and laughed when she saw the latest photo she had created. It was the photo of her classmates, with Akihiko and Haia in it. This photo was the first group selfie photo with Akihiko and Haia. She took this right after Akihiko told their secret; she was a girl, but she identified herself as a transgender gender-bender girl. She explained her backstory of becoming into the person she is now and what kind of Pro Hero she wants.

"Hmmm… Aki-chan admitted who she is. She was brave to tell who she is and what kind of Pro Hero she wanted to be. She or he is courageous. Maybe it's time for me to tell the whole thing," Usagi talked to herself as she looked serious and determined.

She grabbed her Smartphone and opened up a group chat in her chat app. She began typing a message to others if they could all meet together on the weekend. As she sent out the message, she got instant replies from her friends. Miru and Makoko accepted the meeting offer. Arisa and Felicia did, too, and Felicia will ask if Yuki Drago can join them. Eli and the boys replied with emojis, like a thumb-up or OK sign. Kai just replied with the word "sure." Akihiko and Haia also agreed to meet with her and everyone else.

Usagi nodded as she was ready for the coming weekend.

The weekend arrived a few days later—it was the last weekend before the final exam. The time was now 8 am, and Usagi told everyone to meet her at Fun-Fun Mic Karaoke. The first people to arrive were Felicia, Arisa, Miru, Makoto, and Junko.

"I wonder why Usagi told us to meet here," Arisa admitted.

"I've been thinking about that, too, Arisa," Makoto said. "Hey, Miru, couldn't you read Usagi's mind? Maybe this all has to do with how she was acted for the past few days."

"I could, but that would be sort of rude if I did use my Quirk to read her mind. So I thought it would be best for her to explain it," Miru explained.

"Miru's right. I think that's appropriate, and we are her friends. Besides, I have a feeling she will find out soon," Felicia said as she checked the time.

"Zzzz…" Junko snored while standing up, thought very droopy.

"Yo, what's up, ladies!" Everyone turned to see Eli, with Maruto, Aku, Tatsumi, and Kai joining in.

"Hey, Eli," Miru greeted.

"Good morning to you all, boys," Makoto chimed in.

"Morning to you all," Eli replied.

"Good morning," Maruto yawned. "Just exactly why are we here anyway?"

Aku looked around and noticed that a couple of their classmates were missing. "It seems like not all of us are assembled yet."

"Hey, guys!" They all turned to see Haia and Akihiko walking towards them from the opposite direction that the boys came from.

"Speaking of the devil," Aku noted.

"Good morning, Haia and Akihiko," Arisa greeted.

"Good morning, Arisa and everyone," said Akihiko kindly.

"Morning to you all," Haia calmly said.

Just right after Akihiko and Haia arrived, Yuki Drago came, and all but one have assembled as Class 1-L.

"So, it seems like all of us are here, except for one," Yuki Drago noticed as he looked around everyone.

"Yeah. Where is Usagi?" Tatsumi asked.

"I have no idea, but mwaaaah, couldn't she ask us to meet up at a later time? Still feel sleepy," Maruto yawned.

"Have you been playing video games late last night?" Felicia asked as her eyes glinted.

"Gah! Um, well…. Yes, yes, I have," admitted Maruto sheepishly.

"Maruto, I know you love playing video games, but you should always go to bed early. It helps to intact your memories of the materials you studied better," Felica said, scolding a bit.

'Easy for you to say! I envy our Number 1 smartest person in the class,' Maruto thought as he glared at Junko, who was sleeping peacefully while standing.

"Good morning, guys!" Most of them jumped and turned to see Usagi pop out of nowhere.

"Usagi!" Everyone gasped.

"What's with you guys so jumpy today?" Usagi asked innocently.

Everyone looked disbelieved at her, but Eli quickly changed the topic.

"You're the one who jumped on us, but anyway, what is the reason for you to gather us all here? It's kind of rare for all of us to be here outside of school and classes and stuff," Eli stated.

"I will explain everything after we rent a room at this karaoke place. Come on. Let's go inside," Usagi declared as she led the group into the place.

She asked the employee behind the counter to rent the most significant room. The employee, an elderly gentleman with gray hair and black sunglasses, typed something in and handed them the room key.

"Here you go, Miss," Stan Lee said. "You kids have pretty much all the time in the world until nighttime. We're not so busy until the sun falls, so enjoy as long as you want to."

"Thank you, sir," Usagi thanked the man as she and her class went to their reserved room.

The room is located on the second floor of the building at the end of the hallway on the left from the stairway. It was the largest room in the building.

"Woah! Now, this is what I call a VIP room. You can have like a party here!" Eli exclaimed as he looked around the room.

"It's quite big, and it has a sound-proof cushion attached on all sides of the walls," Aku analyzed.

"Wow! This room has the latest VPX-3000 model!" Maruto examined the karaoke machine. "It cost a fortune to get one of this for home! This room is definitely a VIP koaroke material!"

"So, now that we are here, what is your reason for gathering us here, Usagi?" Felicia asked.

"Is it do karaoke all day with the entire class?" Arisa guessed.

"That sounds nice, but we all have something to do today, though," Akihiko said, looking a bit concerned. "I don't mind about karaoke, but I don't want to stay too long."

"OK, but first, make yourself comfortable, guys," Usagi said. "We'll be in here for a while, but not like the entire day… hopefully."

Everyone sat down around the comfy sofa. The sofa had leopard fur for covering, and the table was a sturdy dark brown wooden table with a luxurious design.

"So, why did you gather us here, Usagi?" Eli asked as he was sitting in-between Tatsumi and Makoto.

Next to Makoto was Miru, then Arisa, Felicia, Haia, Akihiko, and Junko. From Eli's right after Tatsumi was Kai, Aku, Maruto, and Yuki Drago, standing or reclining on the wall with his arms crossed.

"Well, first off, thank you for all of you guys to be here with me," Usagi said. "And I also wanted to have Akihiko and Haia to be here because they are kind of the people who inspired me to call all of you to be here."

Akihiko and Haia raised an eyebrow, wondering what she meant.

"You see. I know the rest of you girls know this, but my initial goal in the UA Sports Festival was to get the attention of a certain someone when I participated in the festival," Usagi said.

Except for Haia and Akihiko, the girls knew what she was talking about and finally understood what's this whole get-together about.

"A certain someone? Who would that be?" Tatsumi asked.

"It's my mom. You see, as you all know, I am an orphan. Well, I was an orphan. Now I live alone," Usagi answered. "Anyway, I want to talk to you all about what I found out about my mother during my internship."

Some of the girls gasped.

"Really, Usagi? You found out something about your mom during the internship?!" Makoto said in a rushed tone a bit.

Usagi nodded. "Yeah. It's kind of a long story, so I reserved this karaoke room because this place's VIP room was the only one that can fit all of us in."

'That makes sense.' Most of her classmates thought the same thing.

"So, about your mom…. What did you find out?" Eli asked.

"Well, it all begins at my internship…."

- My Hero Academia -

A few weeks ago, Class 1-L gathered at Tatoonin Station. Their homeroom teacher, Speed Girl, was there with them.

"OK, everyone!" said Speed Girl passionately. "I wish you all good luck and be kind to your mentor, and most importantly, do your best!"

"Yes, Sensai!" Everyone exclaimed.

Each of them said goodbye to one another before they parted away. Finally, Usagi said goodbye to Makoto and Miru, who walked to the opposite side.

She was left with Yuki Drago, Felicia, Arisa, Kai, Tatsumi, and Eli.

"I'm so excited to start my internship!" Usagi hopped with joy.

"Me too. I think it's going to be great," Eli agreed.

"I hope the same for my internship," Felicia stated.

"Same here," Arisa said.

Then Usagi and Eli looked up at the train departure board.

"Holy Carrot! My train is here, so I gotta go," Usagi said as she got her stuff.

"Yeah, I'm heading out too," Eli said as he got his stuff, too.

"Okay. See you two in a week," Arisa said.

"Safe travels," Felicia told them.

Usagi and Eli left the group to get on the escalators on their platforms. Fortunately, they could talk a little since both their trains were on the same platforms, just opposite.

"Well, Usagi, good luck at your internship. You are going to where exactly?" Eli asked.

"Hiroshima," Usagi answered.

"Well, have fun there. For me, I'm going to Osaka for my internship, which is nearer to here, but still kind of far. Not as far as where you are going now," Eli said teasingly.

"Yeah," Usagi giggled. "Well, I will see you in a week, and good luck to you, too."

"Yup! See ya and catch ya later!" Eli waved goodbye as he got on board his train.

Usagi hopped onto her train as the door closed behind her, and she went on her way to Hiroshima.

She sat at the window, looking at the buildings until entering a tunnel. She took this opportunity to read about her internship.

'Well, I am off to my internship! I can't believe I will meet my idol hero, Mirko, in Hiroshima! This is so exciting!' She giddily smiled to herself. 'And maybe, just maybe… I could ask her if she knows my mom. She and I do have the same Quirk. Maybe she is my mom, but if she isn't, then maybe she would know something about her. Can't wait!'

It was a long travel, but Usagi finally arrived at Hiroshima Station after some hours. She got off the train, went down the escalator, and found the South Exit station. She eventually found the sign to the south exit and followed it.

"Ah, Hiroshima, here I am!" Usagi hopped through the exit as the warm light of the sun greeted her, but then….

BOOM!

Something crashed near the ground in front of her.

"Holy Carro…!"

She was interrupted when something fell on the thing that hit the ground in front of her.

"Gwaaaahhh!" She heard an agonized, painful roar as if somebody got hit by something.

As the debris and smoke cleared, Usagi looked closer to see what was happening. She soon found out.

"Holy Carrot!" She gasped as she couldn't believe in her eyes.

"You won't get away from me, you bastard! I may not be as fast as All Might, but I get around, and nothing escape from these ears of mine!" claimed a strong female voice.

A muscular, dark-skinned woman stepped on a villain with long white rabbit ears wearing a white costume with a yellow crescent moon on the chest. She had a fluffy white tail, sharp red eyes, sharp black eyelashes, and long white hair.

"Now then!" She grabbed the villain's collar, who looked terrified and tear running in his eyes. "Tell me what you know!"

"I… I don't know what you are talking about! You're insane!" The villain cried.

"Holy Carrot! It's the Pro Hero, Mirko!" Usagi shouted.

Hello, everyone! I hope you all are having a good three-day break if you live in the USA and if you know what I mean, or getting ready for work or school tomorrow.

So, this is the second spin-off story to my Line of Good and Evil-verse series. Last year, I did a spin-off story, the first Tale of Good and Evil for OC named Tatsumi Kurate. The OC is created by another user, but this time, this story covers my own OC, Sakura "Usagi" Tsubomi.

As this is a spin-off, it won't be as long as the main story, and I will be focusing on this for the next months or so until it is completed. Then, I will go back writing the main story

The official chapter 1 is in plan to come out in next month, but it may come early at the end of January when I work on it.

With that said, stay safe and as always, do your best and go beyond! Plus Ultra
