Summary: Max thinks about the important people in her life. Enjoy!

Disclaimer: I do not own any characters!

AN: So once upon a time, we got an assignment in English class. We had to make Heart Maps. While I was doing it, I wondered, what would the Stranger Things characters Heart Maps look like? If you don't know what a Heart Map looks like this story will explain it!

Max sighed putting away her math homework.

She looked around her room trying to figure out what to do.

Tonight, was a campaign night at Steve's.

But until then, Max had nothing to do.

Ever since spring break Max and Eleven joined the campaigns.

She could go over there early, but she couldn't skateboard, and she didn't want to bother anyone or the pick-up schedule.

Her English notebook caught her eye, and she opened it, to the assignment that they did today.

Your Heart Map

Max had turned in a Heart Map with not much detail because her old as dirt English teacher didn't need to know everything about her.

But the more Max thought about it, the more she wanted to redo it, not for the teacher but for her.

Max opened a random notebook filled with doodles and turned to the next blank page.

People Important to Me

Max decides to write each one on separate pieces of paper, it looked neater that way.

1. Lucas

Lucas had never left her side when she was in the 2-week coma.

He encouraged her through physical therapy, when all she wanted to do was lay on the floor and sob.

When she had a bad day, he would always be there, ready to listen or crack a joke.

He and Max had begun dating, well basically the moment she woke up from the coma.

They had gotten the movie date.

Lucas was the best boyfriend Max could ever ask for.

2. El

El was her best friend.

When Max was able to walk (with the help of crutches) El and her went on a girl's day at the mall in the town next over.

El had saved her from Vecna.

El always listened when Max talked about Vecna, always made sure she was comfortable when talking about him.

Eleven was the sister Max never really knew she wanted.

3. Dustin

Dustin had always made her laugh.

Once, when she had a really bad physical therapy session, Dustin took her to get milkshakes and said something so funny that chocolate milkshake shot out of her nose.

Dustin was the one to hug and hold her for 20 minutes, Max sobbing on his shirt for no reason at all.

Dustin was the first one Max went to about Eddie, the one to make sure she was okay before investigating.

Dustin was a great brother to Max.

4. Will

Will and her never had the strongest relationship, but they always acknowledged each other.

Back in 8th grade, when Billy was hustling her out the door and she forgot her lunch, Will split his lunch with her.

When Max had a nightmare about Vecna one night, Will comforted her, assuring her that she was safe.

Will was the one who got her a night light when she admitted that the dark scared her.

Will was always there for Max in a quiet way.

5. Mike

Everyone knew that Mike and Max didn't get along very well.

But what everyone didn't know was that at the beginning of the school year, Mike was the one who found her wandering town in the pouring rain and gave her his jacket and place to stay for the night, no questions asked.

No one knew that after Max woke up, they both apologized to each other, and had a much-needed talk.

Mike was the one who pushed her wheelchair over bumps and rocks when she couldn't.

Mike was there when she ranted about something, even stupid things.

Mike and Max were friends, finally.

6. Steve

Steve always made sure that she was okay.

He had given her a place to stay for 3 weeks after she got out of the hospital, because her trailer wasn't the proper place for a wheelchair.

He was always driving her around.

He had saved her from the yelling in her house multiple times.

He put himself in harm's way to help her.

Steve was the one who was there on the very bad days, when she couldn't get out of bed because of bed because of the pain.

He was always there with some food and a smile.

Steve was the older brother Max had never gotten.

7. Eddie

8. Nancy

9. Robin

Eddie had become a bit like Steve after spring break, the way he was protective of the kids.

He was staying at Steve's, so he had comforted her after a couple dozens of nightmares.

Once, when Max's heat went off in the dead of winter, Eddie had let her crash until it came back on 3 days later.

Nancy was always the one to make sure she was prepared.

Nancy had gifted Max a new Walkman after hers broke.

Nancy also taught her how to shoot a gun.

Max was a pretty good shot, according to Nancy.

Robin was there with a smile for Max every day.

Robin helped Max with homework after she got out of the hospital.

Robin always teamed up with Max to make fun of one of the boys.

Eddie, Nancy, and Robin always gave Max a reason to smile.

10. Hopper

11. Joyce

Hopper had always hovered around her, silently making sure she was alright.

When some boys grabbed her Walkman when she was still in the wheelchair, Hopper had stormed out of his truck, grabbing the Walkman, making sure she was alright.

Later he gave the boys community service.

Joyce always asked how she was doing, in a way that made her sound that she wanted to hear how she was doing.

Joyce was also a scary Mama Bear.

When a lady had been talking about how sad Max was in her wheelchair, Joyce had gotten up in her face and told the lady everything Max was capable of.

Hopper and Joyce were Max's present parents.

12. Mom

13. Dad

Her mom was the only blood line family in Max's life.

Her mom would always be important to Max no matter how drunk she got.

Because under all that alcohol, there was the same mother who made pancakes every Saturday morning, talking about the week.

Her dad called once after Max woke up, but that was it.

Her dad would always be important to Max no matter how distant they got.

Because in between the distance, there was the same father who got her into the love of skating, by getting her her first board.

Max's mom and dad would always be important people in her life no matter what.

14. Billy

Billy was always a confusing person.

One minute he would be yelling at her for touching his stuff the next he would be calmly telling her to go to her room.

Max didn't know why she missed him

She had wanted something to happen to him.

But...

Not being controlled by the Mind Flayer and dying.

Billy was Max's angry stepbrother.

Always will be.

But in the back of Max's mind, she wondered, could he have been her brother?

Max will never know.

But she does know that Bily is a very important person to her.

Taking a deep breath, she flipped to the next blank page.

1 down, 5 to go.

AN: I hope you liked it! Next will be Max's important places.
