Linda McMahon is the loving wife of Vince McMahon, and they are proud parents of three children: Shane, Vincent, and Stephanie McMahon. Linda had always thought that everything was perfect for her and Vince until she called him back to talk one night. He was not answering his hotel room phone, and she gotta suspicious that he might be cheating on her, which made her very angry. So she slammed the phone down and said, "Well, two can play this game, Vincent."
While Vince was out of town, doing his cheating, she began to do her cheating with a handsome Puerto Rico man. Nevertheless, she continues to have sex with her husband, knowing that he is cheating on her. Linda felt shameful about breaking her vows during the secret affair, but the sex was good. However, after two months of having an affair, she decided to end the affair and vowed never to do it again, which she did it.
After breaking off the affair, she discovered that she was pregnant again with her fourth child, but who was the father? Linda knows that she needs to hide her pregnancy from her husband Vince because she is not sure who the father of her fourth child is. So Linda comes up with a plan to hide the pregnancy from her husband and family. One day Linda began fighting with Vince about his cheating, and of course, he tried to deny that he was cheating on her, but Linda was not buying his lies.
She told him that they needed to be apart from one another for a while; of course, Vince began to protest, he did not win. So she asked him for a trial separation, and once again, he began arguing with her, but she adamantly about the trial separation, and then told him, you need to be a father to our kids, while she goes and figures out how to forgive him.
Linda walked out of the house and away from her family for the next nine months. When Shane, Vincent, and Stephanie found out about their parents' separation, they were upset about their mommy leaving for a while. Over the next nine months, Linda called her kids every day and talked to them. They would constantly ask her when she was coming home because they missed her terribly. Linda always told them they missed them too terribly and would be home soon. When Vince got on the phone after Stephanie, he would beg Linda to come home, and they would go to the counseling. Linda told him when she would be home, but right now, you, Vince, need to father to our kids. Linda wanted him to see how hard it is to be a full-time parent while traveling and leaving her home with kids. Her fourth pregnancy went smoothly. There was no complication, and then on Saturday, October 4, 1980, on her 32nd birthday, Linda gave birth to a beautiful baby girl whom she held twice. A DNA test was done, and the result was that Vince was not the father of her fourth child, but her ex-lover was the father. She then decided to give her daughter to him raised. She then signed away her rights to her daughter.
She kisses her daughter on the forehead said, "Mommy loves you, baby girl." Linda then hands her daughter to her father. He promised that he would take good care of their daughter and that someday he would tell their daughter all about her; Linda nods and tries not to cry. Then, he walked out of the hospital room with their daughter forever. Linda broke down and cried as her doctor comforted her while she cried. That was the last time Linda saw her daughter. Linda knew that she would never see her grow up into a beautiful teenager and then a woman. Outside of the hospital room, her ex-lover pays all of Linda's hospital bills so that she does not have to explain the hospital bills to her husband. After paying the bills, he took their daughter and walked out of the hospital.
Two days later, Linda got released from the hospital and returned to her family. When she came through the door and announced that she was home, Shane, Vincent, and Stephanie came running and greeted her with hugs and kisses. They told her how much they missed her. She told them that she missed them too. Vince then greets her with a hug. Shane, Vincent, and Stephanie gave their mommy the gifts they bought for her birthday. Linda smiled and opened all the gifts; she loved them and thanked them. Later that night, after putting Shane, Vincent, and Stephanie to bed, Vince and Linda talked long, and he promised her never to cheat again; he did not want to be with her. He told her that he now realizes how hard she has at home while traveling. She smiled and accepted his apology. It took some time to get things back to normal for them.
As the weeks passed, Linda began to have second thoughts about her parental rights. She went to see her mom and asked to borrow some money and pay her back. Evelyn gave her the money, and then Linda went to see an attorney and then hired the attorney to fight her ex-lover for custody of their daughter. The attorney immediately went to get Linda her parental rights to resort and share custody. However, when the attorney saw Linda, she informed her that it was too late for her parental rights to be terminated. As a result, Linda now had no parental rights to her daughter. Linda was heartbroken. Meanwhile, somewhere in Connecticut, Linda's ex-lover and his wife were busying raising the baby girl.
Since found out that she had no parental rights to her daughter. Linda went home and began to cry too later to reinstate her parental right. Once she finished crying and wiped her tears away, Linda grabbed a piece of paper and began a small note to her daughter. Linda stood up from the bed walking into her and Vincent's closet, and began looking for a safe place to hide that small note that wrote to her daughter and found a place in one of her shoe boxes. Every day Linda was home alone; after dropping Shane, Vincent, and Stephanie off at school, she would sit in the oversized chair and write in a journal. The pages filled letters to her daughter; each letter was different but always signed; Love mommy.
Linda would write to her daughter and then hid the journal in the shoe box, containing her daughter's birth certificate and other items from her affair, inside the closet. Next, she bought birthday cards, signed them, and placed them in the shoe box. Writing those letters made her heartache even more, and she regrets giving her daughter to her ex-lover and signing away her parental rights to him.
