I know I've attempted this type of story multiple times, about as much as I've tried with that old DC New 52 story, but I want to do something different. This time. instead of my Avatar of Ghidorah OC, I'm using my Devil OC Damian Mammon-Lucifer. Don't know if there will be any difference aside from the OC, but... hopefully this attempt works out better than the rest.

The summary is the same, naturally, OC met Grayfia in the Devil Civil War, convinced her to come to the Anti-Satan Faction's side, they fell in love, but then the OC finds Grayfia and Sirzechs in bed, leading to a massive fight between the OC and Sirzechs, and then the OC goes into a 200-year exile until the start of DxD canon.

And of course, since this is DxD, it's gonna be a harem story. It's not gonna be a big harem, maybe eight women at max will do it, not sure yet. All I will say is Yasaka, Kuroka and Serafall are part of the harem, that's for damn sure.

Disclaimer: I do not own High School DxD. I only own the OC Damian Mammon-Lucifer.

Betrayal.

One word. Three vowels. One meaning.

The dictionary definition of the word betrayal is "the breaking or violation of a presumptive contract, trust, or confidence that produces moral and psychological conflict within a relationship amongst individuals, between organizations or between individuals and organizations." The one who betrays is usually called the betrayer or traitor and is mostly universally looked on with scorn.

Arguably, the most infamous of traitors (other than Judas Iscariot) is none other than the original Lucifer himself. The first Angel, once loved above all others, arguably God's greatest creation. However, Lucifer's fall began when God began favouring man over Angels. This caused envy and jealousy to enter Lucifer's heart as he couldn't understand how God could favor the "hairless apes" over those he considered His greatest creations, the angels. Since then, the name Lucifer has been associated with betrayal of the highest order.

Thousands of years ago, the God of the Bible created the Angels. Now, the official definition of an Angel is of an ethereal creature who assists and serves the God of the Bible. In the Christian bible, Angels were portrayed as powerful and dreadful, endowed with wisdom, correct in their judgment, holy, but not infallible. When their duties were not punitive, Angels were beneficent to man. When their duties were punitive, they were known as avenging Angels and were mentioned in verses such as II Sam. Xxiv. 15, in which an Angel annihilates thousands on God's command. These avenging Angels were used by God to punish men for their sins.

Now, the important part was this: they were not infallible.

Lucifer's betrayal showed this clearly and its effects changed the scope of the Judeo-Christian religion forever. Angry at God loving Man above him, Lucifer tried to prove mankind was beneath them and created the first demon, Lilith. He thought that by corrupting her, he was proving how low Man could fall and how beneath the Angels they truly were. This act was Lucifer's betrayal in God's eyes, and he ordered Michael to cast Lucifer out of Heaven for all time as punishment for his actions.

Lucifer felt betrayed both by his Father's unjust (in his mind) punishment as well as his brother Michael for siding with Him. Wishing revenge for their betrayal, Lucifer created a kingdom in the part of the Chaosplasm left over from when Creation was made, where he had been banished to. This kingdom was eventually named the Underworld though it was often confused as Hell. This was due to the fact that Lucifer began creating an army of Devils in the Underworld in order to eventually wage war on God for his 'betrayal'. And so was born the second Faction of the Biblical pantheon.

Lucifer then went further and transformed himself and the three fellow Fallen Angels who came with him into the first four Devils: Lucifer himself, Leviathan, Beelzebub, and Asmodeus. There, he carved his own kingdom which was a separate dimension that was the same size as Earth with the exception of having no bodies of water and a purple sky that made it perpetually twilight. The atmosphere was also made in such a way as to be toxic to pure humans.

There, in his new kingdom, which many confused with Hell, Lucifer and his fellow Devils bided their time and created more Devils. They did this by using the souls of the damned that they plucked from the section of true Hell reserved for those who followed God of the Bible's religion. The process he used to do this is lost to time, but many say he got the idea from an ancient enemy of Heaven that he once fought before his Fall.

Eventually, their army grew and many Devil generals rose above the others. The 72 highest and most powerful ones eventually appeared in what is now known as the Ars Goetia of the Lesser Key of Solomon. Each Devil general had their own region of control within the Underworld, some more than others but each important in their own way to the continued survival of the Devil race.

Meanwhile, Lucifer's actions had caused a stir amongst the Angels in Heaven who began to wonder how he was capable of doing that if they were supposed to be inherently good. God, fearful of his Angels rebelling and causing chaos on Earth, set up the System which would eject any Angel who 'sinned' from Heaven as well as turn their wings black to signify their new status. This was meant as a deterrent to stop other Angels from following in Lucifer's footsteps. He thought that the threat of being ejected from Paradise would prevent them from doing something he did not wish them to.

Unfortunately, this had the opposite effect as many Angels saw this as a restriction on their freedom. Why should they be so restricted when humans, God's favored beings, were not similarly restricted?

Eventually, this frustration erupted into mass rebellion led by twelve-winged Angel Azazel who then became the leader of the Fallen Angels. These Fallen Angels were then organized together into the group later named the Grigori. And so was born the Third Faction of the Biblical pantheon.

And thus, the Great War began. The war between the Devils, the Angels and the Fallen Angels.

The Great War lasted millennia with neither side gaining any leverage over the other. Late in the war, the Fallen Angels retreated from the fighting though the Four Great Satans and the Angels continued to fight each other.

In the final climatic battle of the Great War, the Four Satans and God fought each other. The battle lasted for days until eventually, with a tremendous explosion, it ended. From the ashes of that battle, nothing was found, showing that all Four Satans and God himself had perished.

Knowing the effect God's death would cause, this was hidden by the higher-ups of all three sides. While a real peace wasn't established, a tentative cease-fire was formed between the three sides. The losses caused by the war made continuing it a suicidal endeavor. It would only end with all three sides dead.

For a while, things seemed peaceful. However, eventually discontent and rebellion began to grow in the Underworld. The descendants of the old Satans wished to continue the War, sure that now with God dead they could win the war. The majority of the devil population, however, did not wish to continue fighting a war that they felt had lost all meaning with the original Satans' death. This created a state of Cold War between the 72 Pillars that did not wish to continue the war and the four Satans and their supporters who did.

The conflict lasted for almost a decade until eventually five devils from five different families all stood together and pushed back the Old Satan Faction and secured the war in favor of the Anti-Satan faction.

Sirzechs Gremory, Ajuka Astaroth, Serafall Sitri, Falbium Glasya-Labolas and finally Damian Mammon-Lucifer, heir to the Mammon and Lucifer clans, grandson of the original Lucifer himself.

Though young each young Devil boasted incredible raw power that left many shaking where they stood and could decimate entire countries at a time. Each with their own skills set and power, individually they were powerful but together they were near invincible.

The strongest of the group Sirzechs Gremory and Damian Mammon were best friends, rivals and had known each other since they were in diapers. Sirzechs with the Power of Destruction and Damian with the Primordial Power of Darkness and Light, the latter due to his connection to the First Angel. The two quickly became names that struck fear into the hearts of anyone that heard their names.

The civil war had taken its toll on every Devil alive but eventually the Anti-Satan faction prevailed with Sirzechs landing the final and deciding blow to Rizervim Livan Lucifer and securing the victory for the new Devil faction.

With this, the Old-Satan Faction retreated and hid while the Underworld quickly began to change under its new management.

With the leaders gone, the five stepped up to take responsibility of the Underworld and to protect its people and everyone that lived and breathed in their home world.

Before this could continue a problem arose, one that surprised many and shook the friendship between Sirzechs and Damian.

Despite being best friends, the two had their arguments from time to time and had their own opinions on certain matters. However, many were left surprised when the very thing that caused tension between the two to rise was not a thing or an object but in fact a person.

A woman called Grayfia Lucifuge.

And that is where our story begins.

Damian Mammon, grandson of Lucifer, had a huge smile on his face as he walked into his home, the one he and the love of his life Grayfia Lucifuge made to live together in and have kids in one day. In his right hand, he clutched a small velvet box that contained an engagement ring that his mother had helped him pick out. His finger was gently tapping the top of it, showing signs of being nervous.

Damian Mammon was a handsome man in his twenties, standing at around six feet with short black hair with the sides of his head shaved, forming a mohawk out of the hair at the top of his head, tapering off into a point at the nape of his neck. He had hazel eyes, which he inherited from his father. And finally, he had pale, yet fair skin. For clothes, he simply wore dark blue jeans, dark brown boots, a black short-sleeved shirt and a black leather jacket.

"I hope she likes this ring. Mum did say diamonds are a girl's best friend." Damian said to himself. He had been together with his love Grayfia for a year now and he felt ready to take the next step in their relationship. Some thought it might have been a little fast but considering they had long lifespans, it wasn't exactly moving too fast in Damian's opinion.

He was about to call out when he stopped and stared at the ground where a grey lacy bra lay on the ground. Confusion appeared on his face since Grayfia was not known for leaving her clothes around or even being a messy person. Heck, she slapped him many times when he left even a sock out of place.

Then, however he noticed more of her clothing going up the stairs along with male clothing that he knew were not his. Seeing this made a sense of dread bubble up in his stomach as he took a slow step forward and begin ascending up the stairs.

Being careful not to make a sound, Damian got to the top of the stairs and crept along the hallway and towards their room where he noticed his and Grayfia's room door was slightly ajar. As he moved closer the sounds of moaning could be heard.

At his side the hand holding the small box shook harder the closer he got.

Eventually getting to the door he heard Grayfia and another man's voice, both sounding like they were in the throes of passionate sex.

"Grayfia..."

"Sirzechs..."

Hearing that last name from that unmistakable voice almost knocked the wind out of him and he had to hold himself together to stop from dropping to the ground.

All at once a wave of negative feelings hit him. Sadness, anger, rage, and the strongest one, betrayal.

Slowly he dropped the velvet box, making a small thud while a steady stream of tears was beginning to go down his face. At his side, his hands stopped shaking and turned into fists.

And the temperature dropped like Death itself had arrived.

"Did it just get cold in here?" He heard Sirzechs ask as the Gremory male's head shot up while Grayfia looked confused at his face.

"I think it did. But why…" she stopped when her eyes landed on the open doorway, finding Damian now standing there looking at her with betrayal and heartbreak

"Damian…" she whispered as the two of them covered themselves up as Grayfia looked at him with an apologetic look. She watched as he looked at her, his eyes shining from the angry tears before she saw him turn his attention to Sirzechs who had gulped and was trying desperately to put his pants on.

Her eyes then widened even more when she saw him move.

"Damian NOOOOO...!"

Damian's eyes snapped open and stared up at the ceiling of the bedroom he was in. He sat up, breathing heavily with beads of sweat dripping down his face and onto his shoulders or down his shirtless body. He reached up and wiped the sweat off his forehead with a quiet sigh escaping him.

"That damn day again." Damian muttered as he got out of the bed, naked as the day he was born, and walked over to the window that let him look out at Kyoto City, Japan.

200 years. That's how long it has been.

t's been nearly 200 years since Damian left the Underworld. 200 years since the day he found Sirzechs, his best friend, his rival, his brother in all but blood, in bed with Grayfia, the woman he loved, the woman he was planning on asking to marry that day, the woman he hoped would be the mother of his children. Damian was unable to take watching Grayfia and Sirzechs live a life like they hadn't backstabbed him and so he left. 200 years since then and Damian was still plagued with nightmares of that day, a day he'd rather forget.

He was brought from his thoughts when he felt arms wrap around him and a voice softly whisper in his ear. "Why are you up so early?"

Damian smiled as he turned around and held the equally naked woman in his arms. She was a gorgeous, tall woman with a voluptuous figure and very long blonde hair with matching eyes. She is a woman with delicate facial features and her eyebrows are cut very short and round a symbol of nobility. Like him, she was as naked as the day she was born, not covering up at all, though much of her nudity was hidden was her breasts was pressed up against Damian's chest.

Her name was Yasaka, the Nine-Tailed Kitsune leader of the Youkai Faction, the woman Damian loved and the woman that successfully managed to help him move on from Grayfia and fall in love again. If it wasn't for her... well, he might still be a mess of a Devil who tried to distract himself through feasting, drinking and fucking women to forget that day of betrayal.

"Just... unable to sleep." Damian said as an excuse, but Yasaka knows him well enough at this point to know when he's lying as her eyes softened.

"That day again?" She asked softly. Damian sighed, nodding. Yasaka watched him with sympathy. Damian had told her of his reason for exiling himself from the Underworld and she was disgusted. How could a man who was Damian's brother in all but blood betray him in such a way? How could Grayfia, a woman who claims to love Damian, betray him by sleeping with the man that is Damian's brother in all but blood? It just reminded Yasaka of how selfish Devils were, except Damian. For one that's related to the original Lucifer himself, he was pretty selfless and wasn't arrogant or thought himself superior like the rest of his kind. He had admirable and good qualities and a great personality.

All of which helped Yasaka fall in love with him.

Deciding he needs a distraction, Yasaka pressed her breasts into him while reaching down to grasp his cock in her hand, which immediately stiffened and hardened in her grip as she began to stroke him.

"Come back to bed~" She purred in his ear. "I have an itch that needs to be scratched~"

"You insatiable vixen." Damian growled as he turned and grabbed Yasaka by her ass cheeks, lifting her up which made her wrap her long legs around his waist. She giggled as he carried them over to her bed and they fell onto it, resuming their passionate activities from the night before...

And that's it for the first chapter. I hope this was a good start and that it gets your attention, people.
