Hello all and welcome to my very first fan fiction. I hope you enjoy it and feel compelled to continue reading as the story continues.
The base idea for this story stems from RedHerald's Without Sin, an excellent piece of work which I highly recommend, along with a couple of Abominations/Sin Kids art and comics I've come across while scrounging the internet on my quest to learn more about this fascinating collective fan creation, but with my own unique little twist.
* The Loud House is owned by Nickelodeon.
* The Sin Kids are owned by their various creators.
* I do not claim ownership of any of them.
Warning: This fan fiction contains incest and strong language as well as possible future references to substance abuse and sexual conduct. This fan fiction will NOT feature any form of pedophilia or underage sex.
That is a line I will not cross.
I wasn't entirely happy with some of my choices and sentence structure so I went and did a bit of tweaking. Hope it reads better.
Chapter 1: A Sinful Beginning Part 1 (Edited: 24/09/2022)
To most people Lincoln Loud was just your average twenty-one year old. Well as average as any twenty-one year old with a noticeable chipped front tooth and a head full of unkempt white hair could be. Through the years Lincoln had grown to be as tall as his father, his oddly round face had been replaced with sharper features and a jaw line covered in white stubble. A slight chubbiness had grown to sit around his waist from too many late night snacking and the occasional drink or two, but nothing a bit of exercise couldn't take care of. (At least that's what he told himself.)
About two years ago Lincoln decided it was time to grow up and do his own thing. The first step was moving out. Luckily with all the money he'd saved up doing odd jobs around town he was able to put a deposit and first month's rent on an old two bedroom house on the outskirts of Royal Woods. It was nothing fancy.
Next step was getting a job. Lincoln knew what he wanted to do but he didn't have much of a tertiary education. Like a lot of parents, his just couldn't afford it. He didn't hold it against them. The world had gotten expensive. It just meant he'd have to work a little harder to get the job he wanted. Fortunately Lincoln was able to snatch up an assistant position at a small-time comic book company named Miracle Comics, honing his skills and hoping to get noticed while taking online art classes during the evenings and every other weekend. Lincoln once joked they should have named the company Marvel Comics. For some reason the joke didn't go over too well…
With a home to call his own and a somewhat stable job Lincoln couldn't help but feel proud of what he'd accomplished. It was a good start to an OK life. Just a little bit lonely. Now I bet you're asking yourself, what about the rest of the Loud siblings? The Loud sisters. After all there are ten of them.
Lori Loud, 27, managed to work her way all the way up to the LPGA. And while she had yet to win one, she had made quite the name for herself. Literally.
Leni Loud, 26, was off living and working in New York City as an intern at some big fashion company. He forgot the name. Apparently her eye for fashion had caught the eye of some bigwig over there. She made sure to send him free clothes every couple of months. He just wished they weren't all so colourful.
Luna Loud, 25, and her band got a gig opening for Mick Swagger. Last Lincoln heard they were touring across the British Isles, making a couple of unplanned stops along the way. He couldn't help but remember what she told him the last time they spoke. "There's no venue too small."
Luan Loud, 24, and her high school boyfriend Benny headed to New York City the day after they graduated from high school. They dreamt of making it big, and they certainly did. He often saw them doing skits on Someday Night Live. They were currently on their third season.
Lynn Jr. Loud, 23, was on Spartans. A television sports entertainment game show where a bunch of really muscular men and women did various tricks and stunts for… something. He wasn't too sure what they got if they won. He'd never bothered watching long enough to find out. Her show name was Lunatic, and having grown up with her, Lincoln could honestly say it was fitting.
Lucy Loud, 18, was currently in her last year of high school and as dreary as ever. She was one of the few sisters who went out of her way to visit him. If only he knew how she kept getting in he'd install a lock, or at the very least an alarm system.
Lana and Lola Loud, 16, had certainly grownup to be a handful. Lana had hit her rebellious phase and had been caught drinking and smoking under the school's bleachers. Lola was the complete opposite. At sixteen she was already cheer captain and every teenage boy's wet dream. Lincoln was sure they were the reason for his father's, further, balding head.
Lily Loud, 11, was growing up to be more and more like her big brother, especially when it came to video games. He'd see her gaming profile online playing Call of Honour whenever he turned on his PSbox.
Now for those of you who knew about the Loud sisters you'd have realized one missing. Said "one" was currently living in Lincoln's basement. Lincoln had taken Lisa in while she was under house arrest and being investigated for endangering the lives of others with one of her latest experiments. To say the Lincoln had been perplexed by his second youngest sister's insistence on staying with him rather than with their parents at the "Loud House" would not have been an understatement.
Apparently the diminutive scientist knew something Lincoln didn't. She knew that one of his basement walls shared a wall with an old underground drainage system. It had been closed off and replaced during the eighties after a bunch of children went missing chasing a red balloon inside. Further unbeknownst to Lincoln, Lisa had managed to break through the basement wall and constructed a makeshift Hadron Collider using the abandoned system that ran underneath Royal Woods. Just how did she do it? Don't know.
Lisa had been staying with Lincoln for over a month now and they had yet to talk about the investigation. He tried to bring it up once but she curtly informed him that it was nothing to worry about and proceeded to lock herself in the basement. According to Lisa she thought better when she was alone.
Opening his fridge Lincoln reached into the back for an old can of Flip's microbrew. He'd bought a four pack under the counter at the mini-mart back when he first moved in. It wasn't the best tasting beer but it was cheap. After all, you get what you pay for. Taking a quick sip Lincoln couldn't help but feel a bit of unease, and it wasn't just the awful tasting beer. (Trust him. It was bad.) No, it was something else. It had gotten oddly quiet. Almost as if he had gone deaf. There was also a sweet scent in the air. Next was a sudden change in temperature. Where moments ago it had been a pretty average summer's day, it was now cold enough to form goose bumps all over his uncovered forearms. Then came the shaking. "An earthquake?" Lincoln questioned as he began to frantically look for cover. He'd never heard of an earthquake hitting Royal Woods before. Sure they've had their fair share of bad storms in the past but never any earthquakes. At least none he could remember.
Sliding underneath the kitchen table the Lincoln reached into his back pocket for his phone. He had to make sure that his parents and sisters were OK. Then it hit him. One of his sisters was currently staying with him. Taking a couple quick breaths the panicking man started to crawl run his way along the kitchen floor, making sure to keep an eye out for anything heavy that might topple over and fall on him.
After a few minutes of crawling and struggling through the house Lincoln finally rounded the corner to the basement door. Reaching up he grabbed hold of the doorknob and threw open the door just as a sudden burst of wind knocked him off his feet and into the air. Luckily he caught hold of the doorframe with his right hand or else he'd have been shot out a nearby window. Using what little strength he had Lincoln worked his way down and grabbed hold of the staircase. Gradually he began to pull himself down the steps like it was some sort of reverse ladder, his legs flailing and feet frantically kicking up in the air as he made his way towards his destination. This was no earthquake. No, this was Lisa's doing. It had to be! "Lisa!" He shouted as he reached the last step only to be slammed against the basement floor.
"L-Lisa!" He cried out as he spotted her hunched over a nearby workbench. "L-Lisa! What's happening!?" Lincoln yelled as loud as he could as a black bowling ball size floating object caught his eye from across the room. Looking at it more intently Lincoln came face-to-face with the most frightening thing he had ever seen. What he'd thought was a floating black ball now looked more like a gaping black maw connected to an unseen and unending gullet. He could only stand there and watch as it started to get bigger as light swirled and got sucked into its "mouth" like discarded paint flowing down a drain. "Shit!" He swore grabbing hold of the left side of his face as a sheet of printer paper flew past cutting his cheek before it got sucked away. Wait, what was he doing? He needed to get to Lisa. "Lisa! We got to get out of here!"
Turning to her big brother Lisa said the last words she'd ever say to him. "I'm sorry Lincoln... The anomaly… I don't think I can fix this one." With as much force as she could muster the tiny woman shoved the larger man backwards into the anomaly leaving Lincoln forced to silently bear witness as his little sister and the world around her were ripped to pieces.
Well that's chapter one, could you find all the reference? Be sure to let me know what you think and whether you feel I should continue or not.
I've gotten the story more or less fleshed out and am hoping for this to maybe turn into a series with various offshoots and one-shots as time goes on. (Chapter two should be out sometime this weekend if requested.)
Till then, take care and stay safe.
