Endymion lifted his sword above his head as he stared down at Sailor Moon and shouted, "Time for you to die, Sailor Moon!"
Before he could make another move, Yui stepped in front of Sailor Moon. As she did so, Endymion bellowed, "You want to die, too?
"Of course not," answered Yui. "You can kill her if you wish, but there's something I want you to do first."
"What?" asked Endymion, as he lowered his sword to his side.
"Who is Sailor Moon?" asked Yui. "Who is Serenity? Yes, as part of the Dark Kingdom, she is the enemy. But who is she to you personally? Don't think with your head. It'll give you a headache. Think with your heart."
Yui then took a glimpse at Sailor Moon. Sailor Moon picked up the message and took out the Orgel. Sailor Moon opened it and it began playing its timeless tune. As it played, Endymion felt as if a dark cloud was being lifted inside his head and images began to flow into him. He came to the realization that it was his own memories. He then dropped his sword, which landed onto the floor with a loud clatter, and he fell to his knees and looked at Sailor Moon, who had transformed into Serenity, as he softly said, "Serenity, my beloved…"
As Yui stepped aside, Serenity cried, "Endymion… Oh, my love…"
Endymion came over to her and tightly hugged her as he repeatedly whispering, "I'm sorry! I'm so sorry!"
"It's okay, my love," Serenity replied. "It's okay. It's not your fault."
Endymion then hungrily kissed her on her mouth. As he did, the Orgel glowed and dissolved into pure energy that enveloped Endymion and forced him break contact with Serenity as he was lifted off the floor. When it faded away, Endymion collapsed into Serenity arms. As a red rose fell next to him, he smiled at Serenity and said, "'I'm finally free!"
Tears of joy developed in her eyes and trickled down her cheeks as she hugged him. As he relaxed into her embrace but then remembered something that Yui said which caused him to sit up and look up at her.
"Yui," he said. "Please. Don't tell me to kill her. I…I can't. I love her.
Yui smiled and said, "I know you do. And I'm not the one who wants her dead. Beryl wants that; not me."
At that moment, out of the corner of her eye, Yui saw a large black shard coming towards them. She hurled herself in front of Endymion and Serenity, shielding them. As she was struck by the shard, both Endymion and Serenity screamed, "NO!"
As Yui fell backwards, Endymion caught her and cried, "Why?"
"Because…" answered Yui. "It is my duty. And I will do anything and everything to ensure both you and Serenity are happy."
"Please, Yui," begged Serenity. "Don't go. We won't be happy without you."
Yui smiled and said, "I appreciate that, Princess. But it's too late. Legendary Silver Crystal, hear my plea. If nothing else, let the three of us keep our memories."
With that, Yui closed her eyes. Endymion's and Serenity's sorrow was short lived when they heard Beryl crackling. They looked behind them as saw her ready to hurl another large black shard at them. Endymion composed himself as Serenity froze in fear. As Beryl threw the shard, Endymion threw a rose that broke the shard into smaller pieces. He took Serenity in his arms and ducked down, but a shard piece had still struck him. After Beryl left them alone after his rose struck her, Endymion and Serenity had a heartfelt conversation before he died in her arms. Soon after, Serenity, with help from Sailor Mercury, Mars, Venus, and Jupiter, she defeated Beryl. With her energy completely depleted, she fell and wish for a ordinary schoolgirl life.
