'I'm the last one alive.' I thought as I walked on, having my shirt wrapped around my head for shade. 'That damn plane just had to crash in the middle of the Sahara Desert, this is why I wanted to go to the beach, I hate the heat.' I thought as I looked behind me, unable to see anything but sand, not even the crash sight. That much was to be expected as it had been three days since the survivors and I had left the crash sight.

Day one, the remaining survivors and I left the crash sight as there was no way to get in contact with rescuers as the radio was damaged. We gathered food and water and made a plan to travel through the desert to hopefully find a village. Day two, bandits found and killed everyone. I only survived as I had left to use the bathroom. It was dark, and we had set up camp, the fire drew them in. They took the food and water, leaving me with nothing. Day three, nothing but walking.

"I need a break." I said, falling to my knees, with me grabbing my left knee as I hit something. 'What did I hit?' I thought as I cleaned the sand and found a lamp. 'What are the odds that a genie is in here.' I thought with a sigh. 'I can only wish.' I thought as I rubbed it. Purple smoke rose out, with me covering my face as I didn't expect this. Feeling cool air hit my body, I shivered as it felt so good! Opening my eyes, I found myself in a large room, a large bed, and a large table with food, water, even wine by the looks of it.

Rushing over to the table, I started eating some grapes, with me moaning as the juice from the fruit slid down my throat. "So, I have a new master?" I heard, with me turning around and seeing a man. He had no lower half, just a floating chest, arms and a head. He had no hair, not even on his face. He was buff, body builder like body. He had a blue vest with gold trimmings around the edges. On his wrist, were two gold chains, showing that he was a prisoner.

"You must be the genie, sorry for taking your food, the desert is a hot place." I said, with him nodding. "What is this place?" I asked, looking around as I didn't know where I was.

"You are inside the lamp, and because you rubbed the lamp, I have to give you three wishes. Be careful on what you wish for, depending on what it is, could cause you more harm than good." He warned, with me nodding as I knew how this went. "Once all three wishes are made, the lamp will teleport to another part of the desert, so that you cannot make another three wishes right away or own the lamp. There are rules. I am bound to whomever releases me from the lamp and I am compelled by gratitude to obey your wishes. I cannot impose upon the free will of humans, monsters and other living animals, mentally, or emotionally. I cannot injure anyone, change their thinking, etc. I cannot make someone fall in love with you. In order to leave the lamp, all three wishes must be granted. You're wishes will come true after all three wishes are made. Time stands still still here." He informed, with me nodding as I understood the rules and how everything worked.

"Ok, my first wish, when I leave this room, I wish to be home!" I said, holding one finger up, with him nodding. "My second wish, is to have unlimited power, not like money or status, but actual strength! Enough to beat even the strongest person!" I said, with him nodding as he understood. "And you said monster earlier, so I take it that they are real?" I asked, with him nodding. "What can you tell me about them? From my understanding, monsters are feared by humans." I said, with him nodding once more.

"Monsters are feared by humans, yes, but it goes both ways." He said, with me knowing what he meant. "Some monsters, like say a tree fairy, fears humans because of how destructive they are. Its usually the weaker ones that fear humans, the stronger ones either hate them or feel superior to them. The two sides, as of now, cant coexist." He said, with me razing an eyebrow at this.

"So, monsters and humans can coexist?" I asked, humming in thought. "Is there a place where I can live with monsters? You know, to try to coexist with them? With the unlimited power that I will have, I should be able to take care of my self." I said, looking at my hand and flexing it.

"Is that what you wish for?" He asked, with me nodding. "Then I need you to say it." He said, with me nodding once more.

"Ok, I wish to be the start of Human Monster coexistence!" I said, with him nodding and snapping his fingers, with me finding myself in my room like that of a flip of a light switch. Standing up, I sat on my bed, with me seeing that I was wearing different clothes. Looking at myself, I was wearing a green blazer, a white shirt, red tie, and tan pants. 'If I didn't know any better, I would say that I was going to some school.' I thought, followed by honking. Blinking, I turned around and opened the window, where I saw a bus was parked outside of my house. 'The hell?' I thought, with a suitcase landing next to me, making me jump as I didn't know what was going on. Opening it, I found my clothes were inside, with me closing it up and making my way outside. 'I guess its off to Hogwarts from here.' I thought with a smile.

Walking up to the bus, the doors opened, with me staring at the bus driver. He turned his head towards me, his eyes glowing as he smoked his cigar. "So, you coming or going?" He questioned, with me stepping in and making my way towards the back of the bus. "You better hope that your wish was worth it." He said, with my eyes widening as he closed the doors and drove off.

Looking back at my house, I had a feeling that it would be the last time that I got to see it. I was only fifteen at the moment, and I wasn't alone when I went on the trip to Egypt. My Mother and Father were with me, and now that they were dead, this would most likely mean the end of a normal life for me. Watching as we entered a tunnel, one that wasn't originally there, I knew that this was some kind of worm hole as soon as we exited and we appeared in Japan somewhere. The street signs were evidence of this.

I had so many questions about what was going on or how this was possible. After all, its not every day you just teleport to two different places in one day, by two different teleporting effects. Seeing as we came to a stop, I watched as a boy walked on. His appearance is that of a very handsome human male teenager with brown hair, brown eyes and a relatively athletic and slender physique, and tan skin. He wore the uniform as me, A white buttoned-up shirt, a red necktie, a light-to-medium green uniform jacket, a black belt, tan khaki-looking trouser pants and dark brown loafers. I didn't wear loafers, but my normal shoes which were black with a white bottom.

Seeing him sit half way to the back, in the middle of the bus, I looked back outside and took in the view of the place. It was very calming, I wished my home town was like this place. Buildings everywhere, very little nature. Here, there was nature yes, but not as many buildings compared to my place. The pink trees where something to see, I think that they are called Sakura trees? I wasn't entirely sure, I've never been here before.

Hearing him talking, I looked back at him, with me seeing that he was on the phone. Once we entered a tunnel, I knew that he had lost signal with whoever he was talking to. I couldn't understand him at first, but as soon as we exited the tunnel, I could hear him as if he was speaking English. 'So, this place must have some sort of magical translator or something?' I thought with a smile as this would be easier for me to communicate and learn from others.

Standing up, I grabbed my bag and followed him off the bus. Once off the bus, the first thing I saw was red water, with me whistling as that was a sight that you would never take in again. Looking at the pumpkin scarecrow, I walked over to it and read the sign. Yokai Academy. This showed me that this was a school for monsters. Yokai was another word for monster, and Academy was another word for school, that much I knew.

'So, wish one and wish three came true, but what about wish two?' I thought as I looked at my hand and flexed it. I didn't feel any different, so maybe I would gain it while I was here? I couldn't be sure, but I needed more information. Looking at the kid, I saw him messing with his phone, but it was clear that there was no cell phone service out here.

"Hey, I don't think that will work here." I called out, with him looking at me. "HI, I'm Dakota." I introduced, with him turning to face me.

"Oh, I'm Tsukune Aono, its nice to meet you!" Tsukune introduced his self. "You're American, right?" He asked, with me nodding. "Where did you learn Japanese?" He asked, making me smile.

"I don't know Japanese, I think there is a barrier that translates for us." I said as I looked up at the sky.

"Sure, let's go with that!" Tsukune said while rubbing the back of his head with a smile that said he didn't believe me.

"Ok then, let's hurry and get to school." I said turning to the castle in the distance. 'That's the only building I can see from here, so that has to be the school.' I thought to my self as we started walking in that direction. On our way to school we kept hearing a chain of some sorts. We kept looking over our shoulders to see what it was, this also made us pick up the pace as we didn't know what it was.

Getting tired of this, Tsukune turned around. "Ok, who's there!?" He yelled, looking around, with me looking back as well.

"WEEEE, I'm A BAT!?" I heard, with me looking up at a strange looking bat that spoke.

"Oh, its just a bat." Tsukune said, with me looking at him.

'Seriously, a talking bat and you're not freaked out?' I thought, with me scratching my head. "Right, he's a monster.' I thought, where he was then hit in the back with a bike. I watched as a girl in a female version of our school uniform started rolling on the ground with Tsukune not far behind him. 'Well, that was oddly satisfying.' I thought with a smile at seeing him in pain. 'I just might have a sadistic side to me after all!' I thought as I let out a small chuckle.

Tsukune squeezed his hand after feeling something soft under his hand. "What's this?" He asked out loud squeezing again, earning a moan from the girl. Faster than I could see he was off the girl apologizing to her.

"Sorry, I'm get light headed sometimes." The girl said sitting up and looked over at Tsukune but then she noticed something. "Oh no, your bleeding." She said crawling over to him with a handkerchief in hand, but then stopped. I could see the hunger in her eyes. "Sorry… you see, I'm a vampire." She said biting Tsukune's neck.

Vampires. Central to vampire myth, however, is the consumption of human blood, followed closely by the possession of sharp teeth or fangs with which to facilitate this task. In most depictions, vampires are "undead"—that is to say, having been somehow revived after death—and many are said to rise nightly from their graves or coffins, often necessarily containing their native soil. Vampires are typically said to be of pale skin and range in appearance from grotesque to preternaturally beautiful, depending on the tale. Another frequently cited physical characteristic is the inability to cast a reflection or shadow, which often translates into an inability to be photographed or recorded on film. A person may become a vampire in a variety of ways, the most common of which is to be bitten by a vampire. Other methods include sorcery, committing suicide, contagion, or having a cat jump over a person's corpse. Some people believed that babies born with teeth or on Christmas or between Christmas and Epiphany were predisposed to becoming vampires.

Strengths: Physical strength: As a vampire ages their strength increases up to 3x human strength or more. Superhuman speed: Vampires can move in a blur of speed, so fast the human eye is often not able to see it. Nothing that is not able to literally teleport will be faster than a vampire. They are known for easily catching and overpowering their prey for a reason. Immortality: It is believed that vampires are immortal. Healing: They can heal from most injuries relatively quickly, a knife wound for example takes a few minutes to heal, as long as they have fed recently. If a vampire has not fed recently, healing takes longer. If stabbed with a holy item or silver, healing will take longer and at times cause pain to a vampire. Senses: They are able to see, hear and smell with great skill and ease.

Weaknesses: Sunlight: No tanning for vampires, they will feel pain and will burn if touched by sunlight. If in contact for too long they have been known to combust and turn to ash. Seeing as this girl was out and about, that might not be the case. Invitations: A Vampire cannot enter a home without invited in. Master's Call: No matter the age a vampire will always be under the call of their master or creator. They are subject to their masters will no matter what. This could be true or false at the moment. Silver: A touch of silver will cause a vampires flesh to burn, it will heal at the same rate as a human and tend to leave scars or welts upon a vampires flesh. But seeing as she was wearing a silver cross, this wasn't true. Holy Water: this is not to be bathed in or used to wash behind the ears as it is similar to acid on a human, it will cause massive damage to the flesh of a vampire. Religious Items or Locations: A vampire will feel repulsed by items which hold a belief or religious continuation to them. The bearer of such an item must have true belief in it for it to work. Seeing the cross, this wasn't true.

Seeing her back away from Tsukune, I didn't see a bite mark on his neck, so the fangs didn't do much to the skin, but she did suck his blood, that's for sure. Walking over to the two, I helped Tsukune up to his feet. "That was a heck of a hit you took, it looked like you broke your back for a bit!" I said, with him looking at me in confusion.

"Didn't you see her bite me?" He asked, with me nodding.

"Yeah, and? There doesn't seem to be any damage, so its all good." I said, with him nodding his head as I was right. "Anyways, I don't want to be the buzz kill, but we do need to get to the school before a certain time, right?" I asked, with them nodding. "Great, we can all go together!" I said, smiling at them. 'Befriend the vampire, she most likely is strong, and could kill us in a second.' I thought as we walked on. "Anyways, I'm Dakota!" I said, reaching across Tsukune with an extended hand, one that she took.

"I'm Moka, its nice to meet you!" She said with a large smile. "What's your name?" She asked as she let my hand go as she picked up her bike and started getting on it.

"Tsukune." Our shy boy said as he rubbed his neck where he was bit.

"Well, I hope we can be friends!" She said, riding her bike to school, leaving us behind.

'She missed the go to school "together" part.' I thought with a sweat drop as we followed after her.

Later

As we reached the school, we somehow got separated from each other. Entering the gym, I looked at the chairs and saw that this was an entrance ceremony. Taking a seat, I was interested in how this was going to go. I was a human in a monster school, so there was bound to be something interesting. Feeling my arm get cold, I looked over at it and saw an arm had touched mine. They had placed their arm in their lap, with me looking at them, with me seeing that it was a girl. She didn't wear the same clothing as the others. Instead she had stripped purple and black nee high socks, and a baggy long sleeved shirt. She looked at me, with me smiling at her. "I see the school doesn't care much about dress code, as long as you're wearing some of the uniform." I said, removing my over coat, just wearing the shirt, tie, and pants to match the school. "Names Dakota, and you are?" I asked, extending my hand out to her, which she took.

"Mizore." She introduced, speaking as if she didn't have a sucker in her mouth, which she did. Her hand was ice cold, and I was loving every moment of it.

"Your hand is cold, I could just hold it all day!" I said, before letting her hand go. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to say that out loud. I just really like the cold is all!" I said, looking away from her, where I saw Moka among the crowd of people, with Tsukune sitting off in the distance reading a book. 'Wow, he seems boring.' I thought with a sweat drop.

"You like the cold?" Mizore questioned, with me looking at her as she was looking at me with a tilt of her head.

"Yes, the heat and I don't go together, it annoys me more than anything. I'm not lying when I say this, but if I don't have the room at a cold tempter, its almost impossible for me to sleep. Warm I could do, but if I sweat, its a no for me." I said, with her nodding and looking forward.

"I prefer the cold as well, I grew up in the mountains, so it was always cold there. It was essential for me to live in." She informed, with me nodding as she was an ice monster of some kind.

"So it must be hard for you to be here then?" I asked, with her shaking her head at me.

"Not really, these suckers cool down my body tempter." She said, pulling one out from her pouch and extended it to me. "Want one?" She asked, with me taking it from her.

"Thank you!" I said, not wanting to be rude and opening it. Popping it in my mouth, I sunk into the chair as my entire body became cold. "I could get used to these, where did you get them?" I asked, looking back at her, having removed the sucker to speak to her.

"They are from my village, I have enough to last me a month or so." She said, with me nodding as that would make since to be prepared before getting more to sustain her body tempter.

"So you get some shipped here from your village once you run out, that's neat!" I said, putting the sucker back in my mouth, moaning at how cold it was.

Later, class

"Man, I cant believe I got lost on my first day of school." I said walking up to my class room knocking.

"Come in." A feline voice said. As I walked in I saw some familiar faces, Tsukune and Mizore. "Yes? Is there something I can help you with?" The teacher asked with a raised eyebrow, and twitching cat ears?

I shook my head and was about to answer her but someone bumped into me. Turning around, I saw another familiar face. Standing in front of me was Moka. "Sorry I'm late, I got lost." She told the teacher and received a nod from her.

"Yes, well don't let it happen again." She said then looking at me. "And you?"

"Sorry, I have the same excuses as her." I answered while rubbing the back of my head.

The teacher nodded. "Ok, now if you would, please introduce your selves." She said stepping to the side.

Moka looked at me, where I then gestured for her to go first. She smiled, nodded and faced the class. "I'm Moka Akashiya, please take care of me." She said bowing and looking around the room ignoring the stupid remarks about how she's a goddess, until she saw Tsukune that is. "TSUKUNE!" She yelled as she jumped on him, giving him the biggest hug I think he's ever gotten.

"Now you." I heard the teacher say.

"Right. I'm Dakota, No last name. please take care of me." I said bowing a little before walking over to an empty seat, that was next to Mizore.

"Ok, now welcome to Yokai Academy, you can call me Mrs. Nekonome. As you all know Yokai Academy is a school for monster's." once those words left her mouth, Tsukune tensed up. I knew of this as I had made a wish to get me involved with monsters. "Now, we have some rules that we like you to follow. Rule 1. No humans are allowed on campus. Even though we're suppose to learn how to live with then. Rule 2. Stay in your human form on and off campus at all times, in side of your dorm rooms are fine-"

"Mrs. Nekonome? What would happen if a human was caught or found on campus?" The kid with piercings behind me asked.

"Well, they would be put to death, or something like that." She said in a thinking pose, shocking me as that was bad for me. "Why do you ask?"

"Because I smell two of them." He said, with me looking over at Tsukune, who was losing his shit.

'So, he's a human after all. It would be best to get him out of here, but at the same time, it would be nice to talk to another human every once an a while.' I thought as I looked forward once more.

"That's non since, no human can pass threw the barrier." Mrs. Nekonome answered earning a sigh of relief from half the class.

Later

After class I was about to talk to Mizore, when suddenly Moka ran past me, dragging Tsukune, who in turn started grabbed me. We ended up in the hallway with Moka hanging off Tsukune's arm. "So, is there a reason you dragged me with you?" I asked, annoyed at them for dragging me like they did.

Moka turned to us, smiling. "Well, you two were with Tsukune when we met, and I thought we could be friends." She said with Tsukune rubbing the back of his neck.

'That doesn't seem too bad of an idea.' I thought with a smile. "Sure we can be friends." I said, making her cheer.

But that ended when the piercing guy walked up to us. "You're Moka Akashiya, right?" He asked earning a nod from her. He grinned, then picked Tsukune up by his collar. "Tell me, why is someone like you hanging out with these losers when you could hangout with me?" He asked, then leaned close to her face. "How about we go somewhere more private and have some fun." He said with hunger in his eyes.

"Buddy, if I were you I would let him go!" I said, stepping between the two. He dropped Tsukune and got in my face, with both of us being the same height. It was a stare down, or was as Moka grabbed my arm and started dragging me with Tsukune away from the guy.

"Sorry, I'm to busy having fun with my friends right now." She said moving at a speed that we didn't think possible.

Later

We came to a stop outside of the school with everyone panting. "Dame your fast." I said sucking in as much air as I could to talk. "I have a question." I said walking over to Moka. "You said you're a vampire right?" I asked, with her nodding her head yes. "Don't vampires hate crosses like the one on your choker?" I asked, pointing at her chest.

Me and Tsukune both looked at it as she unbutton the top of her shirt. I'm pretty sure Tsukune was looking at something else, but who wasn't. "No, you see, this is a Rosary. If it comes off I go into this super strong vampire mode. It seals my vampire powers because I couldn't control it very well." She said buttoning her shirt back up.

"Wait, so let me get this straight. You have your power sealed, by a Rosary. So in a way you're a phantom, or a split personality of your real self?" I asked earning a sad nod from her. 'Man, that's kind of sad, not being able to be her true self.' I thought to my self. "Well, to me it doesn't matter if your this badass Moka or sweet and kind Moka, I'll still be your friend." I said earning a agreeing nod from Tsukune.

"Yay!" She screamed in the air. "Thank you, we're definitely friends!" She said hugging us in her death grip. "Well, let's go looking around, we might find something interesting!" She said, with us following her around.

Later

We walked around the school and at the end we went back to the dorms. Moka thought that this was a cool looking place, I agreed but could tell that Tsukune didn't agree with us. While they went back to their rooms, I went for a walk. I was on my way to a place far away so that I could see if I had any actual power or not, and if that wasn't the case, then it would be best for me to leave as I would die.

"Well, look what we have here." A familiar voice said from in the woods. "It's the little punk who thinks he could fight me." He said coming out of the dark. "How about we test you on that?" He taunted with a charge, he threw a punch, with me easily grabbing his punch. "What?" He questioned in shock.

"Sorry, but as you are now, you would just hurt yourself." I said, shoving him back. 'I didn't even feel his power, could I have a shock absorption?' I thought as he glared at me.

"Fine, but stay away from Moka!" He said, walking away.

"Time to test this out!" I said after a few moments, with me bringing my fist back and then throwing it forward, followed by a large gust of wind that knocked back each and every tree in my line of sight. Blinking, I looked at my arm and saw that it was glowing slightly before it turned back to normal. "I see, so I do have power." I said, making a fist and looking back at the destruction.

Later

On my way back to my room, I saw Tsukune was walking out with his bags. "Tsukune, let's take a walk!" I said walking with him a bit but stopped after ten minutes. "Tsukune, you're also a human, aren't you?" I asked, getting a shocked look from him.

"Then leave with me, we don't belong-"

"Tsukune, it doesn't matter what this place is. Its about the people who are here. From what I can tell, we're being used by the Head Master to see if humans are ready to befriend monsters instead of attack without thinking." I said earning a shocked look from him. "Come back with me, if you don't, how will I tell Moka that her friend left because he was a human and didn't want to stay and support her with the choices she might make." I said holding my hand out to him.

He was about to answer but stopped once he saw someone behind me. I turned to see who it was. It was Moka, with tears in her eyes at hearing this. "Is it true? Are you a-a-a human?" She said on the verge of crying.

Tsukune turned around. "So what if I am. You hate humans don't you!" He yelled running off.

Moka looked at me and I smiled. "Well, you going to stand there, or are you going to go after him? He is our friend after all." I said, with her looking downwards. "So you hate humans, who cares about that?" I asked shocking her. "If you ask me that's just raciest, I thought you were better than that." I said as I turned to look in the direction Tsukune had ran off in. "If you want to prove me wrong, then go after him, convince him to stay." I said walking in Tsukune's direction to stop him, but stopped about a foot later. "He cares for you, you know." I said running to catch Tsukune. "Better hurry up!" I called back to her making her run.

Later

We finally caught up to him and were close to losing him, but something hit me and I flew to the edge and I just barley stopped at the edge, having blocked the punch at the last second. I heard another hit and it sounded like someone hitting a tree, hard.

"I warned you." I heard our piercing "friend" say.

"Tsukune!" I heard Moka yell. I looked around and saw some troll standing over Tsukune and Moka.

"So, you didn't take my advice?" I said, walking forward, with him turning towards me with a sickening grin. "Let me educate you on our power differences." I said, now standing in front of him, this time I was being towered over. "Strength isn't enough to win a fight!" I said, punching him in the face, spinning him around, but he kept his balance.

"That was a pretty good punch, but that wont be enough to beat me!?" He yelled, throwing his own, with me moving out of the way of the punch.

"That's because I didn't put my back into it!" I yelled, bringing my right first into an uppercut. "Remember these words Tsukune, no matter the race, one can become stronger than the other! For its not about the power, its about the people! Tennessee SMAAAAAASH!?" I said, pushing even harder on my fist, sending him flying into the air pretty far up. Watching him land, I saw his top half was buried in the ground, where I made a fist with a smile. "Strength isn't everything, one must learn to control it if they are to win." I said, looking over at the two, seeing the shock in their eyes. "Come now, let's get him to the nurses office, he looks like he needs it." I said, walking over to them and tossing Tsukune over my shoulder, where we started leaving together.
