Chapter One - Request

Fortis Fortuna Adiuvant; in translation, Fortune Favors the Bold. A well known proverb used among American Navy ships. Yet I can't help but ponder how many people actually knew that it derived from Phormio, a comedy play by the Roman playwriter Terence. Phormio's character is a sleazy undermining person who helps two lovestruck individuals get their dream girl in return for a lump sum of money. As if someone's romcom became the very definition that motivates power into individuals into battle; plus doubles in application to our everyday society. Yeah, what a load of crap. If hypothetically I played the part of Phormio in order to undermine my colleagues for substantial results with their suggested outcome, in turn, I should gain some sort of reward. That's the fortune amidst the bravery which Phormio seeks to gain. But for all the undermining things I do to help people — to be "Bold" for others — all I get back in return is pain. If this proverb is backed by some unearthly means that transcends through space and time, I am the one that slips through its cracks. Maybe I'm a masochist. That my Just Desserts is my affinity to pain. Do I secretly love to seek it out? I like to think not. But I'm used to it by now. And I'm just too damn good at it. Witnessing the very worst in people is a sort of celebration for raw, real, uncensored, and unconditional true feelings with one another.

I've been sitting here for what seems like an eternity. As club activities goes, the Service Club is rather sloth today. Some days, we just don't get any requests. By the end of a session, playing semantics with my female counterpart isn't exactly what I deem to be time well spent. Sure I bring my novel to pass the time, but I could always do this at home; in my room, in comfier clothes, with Komachi near by. Can I just leave already! I look to my left; two young ladies sit distant from me as one of them, Yuigahama, chatters up a storm. The other girl, Yukinoshita, is getting weary of Yuigahama's voice and thus her flustered face seems to exude some sort of uneasiness. I get it, there are days when you kinda just want to be left alone. Well, I'd rather continue this novel than play word games with Yukinoshita's quick tongue. If anything, it's rather peaceful in the club room today. We could very well be free from any requests for the rest of the afternoon; soon as the time reaches that pivotal point on the clock. Just ten more minutes to go!

— knock knock —

Damn it all! Who in their right minds would come to the Service Club with a request at this time? I need to get home to my kid sis, Komachi. Whoever it is, they better have a worth while request or rather yet, I should just concede this potential victory to Yukinoshita. She'd love to gain that extra point against me. I'd even consider it as an early birthday gift from me. The two girls are silent as the club door continues to knock more and more intrusively.

Yui: "I really don't want to take any requests right now Yukinon."

Yukino: "Agreed. Who in their right minds would come barging at our door during closing time?"

Hachiman: "Stay quiet. Maybe they'll think we've left for the afternoon."

It's times like these I'm glad my fellow club members and I can agree to something. Seriously though, this door doesn't want to stop intruding in on our peace time. After a few loud knocks, the club door forcefully slides open. Who would of thunk, our wonderful Student Council President, Iroha Isshiki. For some reason, I should have felt more underwhelmed after realizing who it was. I stand up, gather my belongings, and begin to walk towards the exit.

Hachiman: "Well ladies, I'll see you all tomorrow."

I'm pretty much scot free at this point, but as I walk pass my kohai, I feel my sleeve being tugged. My head turns ever so slightly to reveal Isshiki having a firm grasp on my school shirt. A great realization had struck me, today's activities are far from over.

Isshiki: "Hey! If you guys were still here, you should have answered. I've been knocking for a while now. I know you heard me."

Hachiman: "Isshiki, let go."

Isshiki: "Hachiman, is that any way to talk to your Student Council President? Hmm?"

Damn this brat! I just want to go home. She's the absolute worst for using her position of power to undermine me! Then again, I guess I do have myself to blame for her rise to success.

Yukino: "Isshiki, we didn't answer because the Service Club just concluded today's activities. You caught us on our way out."

Yui: "Right. What she said. Can't it wait until tomorrow?"

Isshiki: "Of course it can't wait until tomorrow! This is of utmost importance! My love life is in jeopardy!"

Hachiman: "I'm pretty sure what you have to say is to the least of our concerns. And if it does in fact involve Hayama, you can count me out. Yukinoshita, do me a favor and take this one off my hands."

Yui: "Hikki."

Isshiki: "Hachiman. I had no idea this is how you truly felt about my unrequited love for another boy. I can sense the jealousy in the air. To put you in this position bothers me gravely. Now that the time has come to finally square off with your rival for my hand, I do have to remind you that my heart yearns for another. So you see, going out with you right now, is just poor timing! Thus, I'll have to sadly decline your offer. Please try again."

Hachiman: "Is this even still a retort! You're not exactly the ideal damsel in distress, hopping from one castle to another in order to keep turning down the hero each time he tries to save you, you know. And I'd be the fool to keep playing that said hero! This is the only time you're gonna get to spout this ridiculous nonsense. So let it all out now president."

Isshiki: "Well in fact, I'm not the one making the request for a change."

Yui: "It's not you, then who is it?"

Standing by the doorway, I look up past Isshiki's silhouette and made out none other than the Fire Queen herself; Yumiko Miura. Yeah I really don't want any part of this. She ignores my gaze as she walks pass me through the crowded doorway.

Yumiko: "Hey Yui."

Yui: "Yumiko. What a surprise."

Yukino: "I take it you have a request."

Yumiko: "Obvi. Why would I even be here if I didn't?"

Yukino: "Well club activities are over for the afternoon. I'm sorry we couldn't get to your case today. Try again some other time."

Frustration filled the blonde's face with rage. Telling from my sites of her, it took real valor for her to come all the way here. It's as though she had already regretted the idea of asking for us — asking her — for help. Yukinoshita is her outmatched rival in a way. Especially when it comes to gaining the affections of a certain Hayama.

Yui: "Yukinon, we do have a few more minutes to spare. Let's at least hear her out."

Yukinoshita looks over to Yuigahama and sighs in utter dread.

Yukino: "Very well. You may address your concern. If it's within our power, the Service Club will find a way to help you with your request."

I turn to Isshiki and speak softly to hindrance Miura from hearing my concerns for my kohai.

Hachiman: "Hey so, how does helping little miss popular gain any advantage for you with Hayama? You do know she's your enemy when it comes to romance right? Are you even romancing correctly? Normally you don't want to help your enemy."

Isshiki: "I know that, I'm not stupid you know. But me helping her will definitely stack up brownie points with Hayato. In all fairness though, she hadn't told me what exactly the problem was. Only the fact that it does involve her relationship with him. So I told her why not go to the Service Club for assistance."

Hachiman: "I swear, everytime you or that thing comes barging into my club room, it's 'Hayato this' or 'Hayato that.' He's the only reason why I'm over privileged enough to be around such royalty. Makes me sick to my bones if you ask me. I need her to hurry up and state her request so I can leave already. Komachi's dinner isn't getting any warmer."

Fire Queen Bee looks over at me with the ugliest expression then turns back at Yukinoshita.

Yumiko: "I'll be quite frank. I need to get Hayato jealous over me."

Yui: "Yumiko! Isn't that a bit one sided? You can't possibly force someone's love for you! It has to be, well natural."

Yumiko: "Well what am I supposed to do? I've done like, almost everything to get him to look my way. So I figured if I'm no longer there to please him even as just a friend, he might actually consider what he lost."

Ms. Student Body President bursts out laughing after hearing Miura's reasoning. It was rather rude on multiple levels, but I would be lying if I said that I've grown a certain conscious for Miura. In fact, I'm glad Isshiki was the one who started laughing, because I so wanted to laugh just as obnoxiously.

Yumiko: "What's so funny! What's so bad about my request! I really don't see this as a laughing matter!"

Isshiki: "Please! Do you even hear yourself right now Yumiko? How long have you been by Hayato's side? But NOW you're wanting to play dirty to win his affections? How low do you really think of Hayato? If he never really cared about you in a romantic way before, then it doesn't even matter if you're going out with another person. And that's because he won't feel any type of resentment for losing you. If anything, he'd just wish you your happiness in that good ol' Hayato fashion. That's why I'm laughing."

Hachiman: "Are you sure you laughing doesn't have anything to do with the fact that Miura's not under Hayama's potential love interest?"

Isshiki: "No way! What are you talking about Gotchaman! Hahaha!"

It's painfully obvious that Isshiki is in fact laughing to exude joy for the chance to get even closer to Hayama, which Miura is groveling to get.

I look over to Miura, but she looks genuinely sad. Not that I care, but something about this situation feels off. Even though we're only stating facts, it feels like we're also bullying her by not giving her any reassurance or hope. I hate bullies, but isn't this supposed to be our underdog story? The weak overtaking the strong; in this case the losers, us, fighting against the popular kids, Miura? I still feel kinda awful. Barely. Like 12% if even.

Yukino: "Hikigaya, what are your thoughts about this whole thing?"

Hachiman: "What do you mean what are my thoughts? I have nothing to say."

Yukino: "Aren't you part of this club?"

Hachiman: "I'm standing right here aren't I? But gauging at the time, I feel that my services are retired for the day."

Isshiki: "This one is kinda catered to your style don't ya think, Hachiman."

Hachiman: "What's that supposed to mean."

Isshiki: "Oh nothing. Except the fact that you just prefer to do things a bit unorthodox no matter how sleazy the job; so long as it brings in the proper results. Am I right? Tell me I'm right!"

Yui: "It's not like you're getting paid, Hikki. You can at least try. Right?"

Hachiman: "Precisely! I'm not getting paid, so why would I agree to work overtime?"

The room grew silent with my last response. Great! Now I've made the situation uncomfortable. Sometimes, a lot of the times, my club members and I disagree on things. This is one of those moments. Why did Yuigahama have to say anything. If it was just Yukinoshita and Isshiki, I would happily continue to reject them for my personal pleasure. But because it's pure hearted Yuigahama, now I feel a certain obligation. I take a brief pause then address the entire situation in front of Miura.

Hachiman: "Isshiki has a strong point. Hayama isn't going to just get jealous because you found someone to pamper you. He's not that type of guy."

Yumiko: "How the hell do you even know what type of guy he is, Hikio!"

First thing she says to me since she barged in through our clubroom door, and yet I'm the one giving my two cents. Jeez what a stuck up chick.

Hachiman: "Reading people is my specialty. If you're the queen amongst your subordinates, Miura. What does that make Hayama?"

Yumiko: "He's the king, duh. That's why we'd be the perfect match. He just doesn't see that ye—"

Hachiman: "Wrong answer. He's not a king."

Yumiko: "Excuse me? What exactly are you getting at."

Hachiman: "No doubt subordinates worship their majesty. Whatever says goes. Yet Hayama doesn't worships you as a subordinate nor as an equal. Yet, he still exudes a certain dominance over the entire kingdom, am I not right? If I had to give him a title, it wouldn't be a king. No, it's more like a god, maybe."

Isshiki: "You're kinda losing me here Hachiman."

Yui: "A god? How'd you figure that?"

Yukino: "He's got a point actually. Think about it. If the subordinates worship the queen, who would the queen worship? A knight is out of the question because knights fight for the king and queen. In this case, queen Miura would worship Hayato, but she can't quite grasp him. If Hayato is out of the picture, then who's to say she couldn't fall in love with a fellow subordinate. It'd be easy, because they'd be inclined to serve her; but Hayama is so much more to her. He constantly stays on the side lines, making sure everything is going according to his plan; kinda like how a god would do things. Sure his presence is known, but he exudes a different sense of control compared to Miura and her friends."

Yumiko: "If all you're saying is that I don't have a single shot with him and that I have a damn God complex, then I don't need to hear anymore! This was a mistake! Bye!"

Miura was quick to storm out the door when for some weird unearthly reason, I grabbed her hand to stop her from exiting the room. I could really care less if she decides to leave it at that. So why did I reach out to grab her? I swear this is god's doing! Maybe… I still need proof, Hayama's sexy face isn't proof enough. She turns around and looks at me upset. Tears are peaking the lower part of her olive green eyes.

Yumiko: "Would you let got! GAH! You're so freaking weird!"

I let go.

Hachiman: "I didn't say you never had a shot with him. I'm just saying that your approach could be situated in a different way. Now that you have a better understanding where you and Hayama stand in your little 'Circle of Life' slash 'Make Believe Kingdom,' we can give you a more logistical way to do things. Not saying it's going to work out in your favor; he could still end up turning you down after everything, but you'll be that much closer to him than you are now. That's for certain."

Isshiki sits next to Yuigahama with dread closely approaching her once playful demeanor.

Isshiki: "Girls, I don't think I like where this is going. If Hachiman ends up helping her out. My chances with Hayato might actually be non-existent."

Yukino: "You could only blame yourself. We wanted to go home, remember. But you had to be selfish and get those brownie points."

Isshiki: "Excuse you Ms. Yukinon! If anything, I was being selfless."

Yukino: "I'm pretty sure selfish is the proper word for your situation. Your intentions weren't that pure."

Yuigahama pats Isshiki on her head.

Yui: "There there Isshki. I'm pretty sure everything will work itself out in the end."

Isshiki: "But if Hayato starts dating Yumiko, then that means I'm stuck being with Hachiman forever! I don't want that!"

Well excuse me if I don't exude the proper persona to your romantic standards! Damn brat!

Yukino: "Hikigaya, what do you presume we do about this?"

Hachiman: "What, you don't wanna take a crack at it? I wasn't lying earlier when I said you could take this case. Hell, I'll even follow along. All according to your studious plan, club president."

Yukino: "In all honesty. If it were any other day, I might have taken you up on that offer. But because the nature of the situation between me, Miura, and Hayato; it might be best that you take this one. Plus I'm feeling a bit famished."

This is amazing! So I can do all the undermining tricks I want and Yukinoshita won't even intervene? Thanks for the early Christmas gift Yukinoshita. But I really am not all that excited in helping this prima-donna out.

Yumiko: "Can you guys, like, tell me what I have to do already? I thought y'all wanted to go home!"

Hachiman: "No offense Miura, but you're a stuck up bitch. Change that about yourself, then maybe Hayama will look your way. That's it."

Yumiko: "Excuse me! The hell you just call me! Freaky Fish Eyed Asshole!"

Hachiman: "I don't think you quite heard me. I said—"

Yui: "Hikki! This is no place to pick a fig- - -"

Hikigaya: "- - -I said, No Offense. I didn't mean to offend you, but that's how you come across to people who are beneath you and your posse. What kind of energy does Hayama give out? I personally hate him to death because he's my complete opposite. He's an extrovert yet kind to everyone he comes across. He's not afraid to assist with anyone who seems like they need the help. Constantly sticks his neck out for people, even to those he doesn't know; no matter how tall or small the situation is. With all that, he still manages keeps a smile on his stupid face. If he wanted, he could be the next ruler of Japan. And I regrettably wouldn't be apposed to the idea. Because aside from his popularity, he's a decently optimistic guy."

After monologuing about Hayama, I started to tense up. Am I actually jealous of him? I guess to some degree, he's got everything easy going for him. And here I am stuck with my mental struggles. It really isn't fair. Miura is surprised I knew so much about her crush that her cheeks glow a slight red.

Yumiko: "I can't believe you know so much about him. You listed all the reasons why I'm head over heels for the guy."

She doesn't know the real Hayama after all. I only said things that everyone else sees in his public display. I also know how he is when he's to himself. He's quite the actor. But that's where I have the advantage over him. He can never bullshit me. I can see through his little acts of chivalry. Not all of them are innocent. So sue me if I put mine out on display for people to disrespect. When it comes to cunning, we're quite a like in that department.

Hachiman: "Look, he obviously has certain types of girls he's attracted to."

Yumiko: "Well duh! Even I knew that! But you're asking me to change my self image. How can you get any more perfect than me?"

Please, all you got going for you are looks. I take a glance at Yukinoshita. She on the other hand has the looks and the intellect. Too bad she's always so quick to piss me off, I'd find her rather charming otherwise.

Hachiman: "Do you want him badly enough for him to notice you or not. Because from where I stand, it wouldn't be hard for, let's say, Yukinoshita to ask him out; and him being whole heartedly willing to accept Yukinoshita's invitation. That's the type of person he's interested in. Even Yukinoshita's sister, Haruno has his attention. For some reason or anther, Hayama has it bad for the Yukinoshita family."

If Hayama is a god, I wonder what makes Yukinoshita? And that said, what does that make me? Icarus? I always seem to be flying too close to the sun. Would make sense.

Yumiko: "Shut up already! I get it! I'm not like little miss intellect over here. I don't have long dark hair, and I come off as a bitch. Sorry for not being born more cynical! Did I get everything?!"

Yukino: "Look Miura, I have no intention in dating Hayato. He's not exactly my type. Hikigaya is just being a bit brash. That being said, he's also got a strong point. I suggest to slowly change your ways and be a more model student. Watch how you talk to others and try helping others out. Even if they're not part of your group of friends. Then maybe someday Hayato will come across that charm you're wanting him to find in you."

Was that genuine concern for Miura? I can't believe my ears. I can't let this go. I gotta make sure to tease her about it one of these days.

Yumiko: "Yeah well, how long is that going to take I wonder!"

Yui: "Like I said before Yumiko, it takes time for these things to happen. You can't just hope that Hayato will—"

Yumiko: "Not good enough! I thought you guys were the Service Club! What a joke! I didn't come here to get all philosophical with my social standing! Give me a break. If this is the only way to get his attention, then why'd the hell did I even bother coming here! Revelation?! BAH!"

Yukino: "Can you please silence that voice of yours for a minute! You're really starting to piss me off and my head is throbbing even harder now. Look, if you want fast results, then don't come crying to us if this comes back to haunt you."

Yumiko: "What are you proposing exactly. Out with it. I'll do anything."

Wait, Yukinoshita is actually going to give her a quick unorthodox solution? Huh, never knew she had it in her. I might just be rubbing off on her after all. It's better this way. I could only wonder what her solution could be. I mean, If Ms. Thorn In My Ass really wants quick results, it's not that hard to put on an act and just do it for a couple weeks. Fool everyone and fool Hayama enough until he's convinced. It really doesn't have to take that long. Genuinely changing is probably something she's not capable of doing over night anyways. So I could understand her frustration. Especially with all the Bitch points shes accumulated throughout her reign in high school.

Yukino: "Just date Hikigaya."

Isshiki: "Huh… wait WHAT?!"

Yui: "WHAWHAWHAWHAT ARE YOU SAYING?! YUKINON!"

Yukino: "You heard me. Go out with Hikigaya."

Hachiman: "HAVE YOU LOST YOUR DAMN MARBLES WOMAN! Like hell I'll ever date some crazy, stuck up, high tempered, snob of a person!"

Yumiko: "So what, is that supposed to offend me or something?!"

Hachiman: "Well isn't it?!"

Yumiko: "Try harder FishyEyedGaya!"

Hachiman: "That's uncalled for, bitch!"

Yumiko: "The hell you just call me?!"

Hachiman: "Feel offended now?"

The two of us never locked into each others eyes more intently before now. Although, love was nowhere to be found with this vigor and passion of hate towards one other.

Isshiki: "Yukino, I know you're not feeling too well; with the migraine and all, but are YOU OUT OF YOUR DAMN MIND! HACHIMAN CAN'T DATE HER! HE'S OBLIGATED TO HELP ME DO STUDENT COUNCIL STUFF!"

Yui: "Yeah, I mean consider Hikki's feelings in all this. You can't just throw him under the bus like that! Plus, he promised he'd come over next week to—"

Yumiko: "I for one am apposed to this stupid idea! This guy is scum! The worst of the worst."

Hikigaya: "I second that! I AM scum and I don't wanna go out with some hot headed stuck up gal! Think of a different plan."

Yukino: "Listen to yourselves for a minute. First of all, Miura, you said you'd do anything. Well, it turns out, Hikigaya, is the lowest of the low. The scum of this high school if not the entire world."

Hachiman: "Hey now. You don't have to go that far. Cool it a bit with the insults."

Yukino: "What better deed for Hayato to witness if he sees you take pity on a poor soul of the scummiest of scum. Plus it's only a fake relationship. It's not like you'll be spending time together after school. Do it only when you're around your friends and Hayato. It also wouldn't be bad if you showed your interest in our residential low lives. Trust me, do this and he's sure to pick up on the affections you have for him."

Yumiko: "Maybe. I don't know. I mean I can't have Hikio tarnish my group and social ranking in school. But maybe when we're not in class. Should be fine. I guess I can consider it."

Hachiman: "I don't wanna tarnish MY image! So I'd be glad if you didn't consider it at all!"

Yukino: "Hikigaya, you're the complete opposite of Hayato, you despise him because he's got something you wish you had. Said so yourself. Knowing Hayato, I could say the same for him. You have something he doesn't; I can sense that. He can't do the things you can; that's because he's got his popularity image to uphold. But if he were able to put the same amount of effort you do in what he does, I know he'd be all the more complete with himself. He's just unable to. So consider this, if he sees' you two dating, you might actually strike a nerve with him. Making him a tad bit jealous that he lost out the popular girl to the guy that isn't afraid to hide anything. Plus, like I said to Miura, it's all an act anyway."

Hachiman: "I get it. It's just that, you're not the one out to be publicly displayed and humiliated."

Yukino: "I thought you were used to it though. Taking the hits I mean. Being bold by accepting the embarrassing moments people won't endure themselves."

Hachiman: "Yeah well, this is a bit different from those other situations, isn't it."

Yukino: "Why is that? Are you afraid you'll fall in love with Yumiko Miura?"

Yumiko: "Ugh! Gross! Don't even joke like that."

I turn my gaze away from Yukinoshita as she leans in staring intently right into my soul. She then lightly smiles at me.

Yukino: "I don't think I have to worry about you Hikigaya."

Isshiki: "Wait! Wait! Wait! Wait! I can't allow this to happen! Hachiman obviously doesn't want to do this! You can't make him do it. Yui! Help me out here! Say something!"

Yui: "Well, I mean if it's only pretend for a couple weeks, I don't see what the problem is. But does that mean you two will be holding hands and eating lunch together and and and…"

After trying to figure out a rational reasoning to support this crazy plan, Yuigahama burnt out and struck the desk forcefully with her fatigued head.

Isshiki: "Well I'm still not satisfied with all this."

Yukino: "What's the matter? I thought Hayato was on top of your list and not Hikigaya? You turn him down everyday with that little skit of yours don't you?"

Isshiki: "Well that's just a little inside humor between two chums you know! But of course Hayato is my goal, yet if this plan ends up working, then Hayato will definitely end up with Yumiko. Right? Then what?"

Yukino: "That would be the worst case scenario for you. I'm not expecting much from this little trial run. Miura is asking for unrealistic result with an unrealistic amount of time. So at most Hayato will probably consider Miura to be a closer friend than he thought she would be. Maybe he'd think twice before denying Miura a date to the nearest bakery or café shop. Are you fine with that, queeny? At the end of it all, I can't make Hayato fall in love with you, but he could open his eyes towards your direction a bit more."

Yumiko: "It'll have to do. I'll take whatever I can get! If it'll bring me that much closer to him, then so be it!"

Hachiman: "How long do you figure we put up this charade?"

Yukino: "Convincingly, maybe about a month or so. Has to definitely be over a month. During the time you two are together, make sure you follow Miura's lead. Also, start using each other's first names or give each other nicknames. It won't mean anything, but at least to everyone else, it'll make things that much more convincing. Then, when this whole trial session comes to an end, I need you, Hikigaya, to publicly break up with Miura in the worst way. In front of Hayato. Got it?"

Hachiman: "That'll be the day I mark on my calendar as the happiest day of my life. All said and done, sounds easy enough I guess. So go with the flow and then break it off with miss anaconda eyes over here. Just let me have my last night as a single bachelor."

Yumiko: "Please, don't kid yourself. I just need the time to really have this sink in. Anyways, I'm off. I guess I'll see you in class tomorrow Hikio. And Yukinoshita, I won't say thanks just yet. Not until after this is all over. But… WHATEVER! Bye!"

Hachiman: "You know, in another life, you two could possibly be the best—"

Yukino: "Hikigaya, I urge you not to finish your sentence. For some reason, my migraine is worse enough as it is. Now let's get out of here."

Isshiki: "I shouldn't have forced my way in here. I feel very uneasy about this whole thing. Hey Hachiman!"

Hachiman: "What is it."

Isshiki: "You know, I was wondering if you wanted to hit up the ice cream shop near by! All this tension in the air, a girl could really use something refreshing!"

Hachiman: "I'm so sorry, I know that my rise to popularity with the opposite sex has now landed me an extremely gorgeous girlfriend and that may have harbour a certain interest for me. But I can't just let go with what I have gained. So although you wouldn't be my last choice, your confession for my love came out of nowhere and due to the poor timing of the situation, I would have to happily decline your confession!"

Isshiki: "Happily decline?! What the heck is that supposed to mean?! You're still a bachelor for the night!"

Hachiman: "Technically, I'm a senior. So know your place kohai."

Isshiki: "I can't believe this is happening! I'm the president of this school!"

Yukinoshita stands up and tries to help Yuigahama on her feet. The two gather their belongings and head for the exit doors.

Yukino: "Right, and with that, I'm headed home. See you tomorrow. Come on Yuigahama."

Yui: "What happened Yukinon? All I remember was blacking out. What was I even saying before?"

Yukino: "It's not all that important."

Finally, I can head home to my darling sister, Komachi. Isshiki's still dumbfounded by my rejection to her ice cream date. Speaking of ice cream, I bet my dinner is sitting out cold by now.
