Okay, my Owl House story. I hope all goes well. Few things I want to say though.

Firstly, this story won't be starting on the first episode, but it will be starting in the first season. Sometime after Sense and Insensitivity, if we're being precise.

Secondly, to those of you who read my profile page, you'll know that I put the name Ace for Aarons who appear in anime. This might be the first time I use Ace as an actual name for an Aaron.

The reason why I'm calling this Aaron 'Ace'...We'll get to that in a bit.

Thirdly,...I wish I had a Thirdly.

Anyway, let's get started!

Ah. Breathe that somewhat twisted air of the Boiling Isles. This demon realm is one of the most craziest places to have ever existed.

Try to prove me wrong when the place is known for magic and monsters, weird weather, the ocean literally being way beyond boiling temperature, and the residents/freaks, witches, and warlocks of the isles that aren't like anything humans like us know.

The one right there's who this stories mainly about about. The fifteen-year-old boy walking his way through the street market.

He's dark skinned, has black hair, glasses with a small crack in the right lens, pointed ears like most witches, has on a grey shirt with a white jacket with red patterns and a wolf hood, black pants, and black shoes with white soles and red streaks. He bought them at this market and thought they were cool.

This kid's name is Ace Adri.

The first name, it'll be explained. The last name, that's for another chapter.

Ace's one of the strongest, fearless, and thrill-seeking wild witch teens there was on the Isles. There wasn't a catastrophe or crisis that could measure up to him. Even in all the witches duels and battles he was challenged to and fought in, he was either smiling, grinning, or smirking the entire time.

Speaking of strong and fearless, Ace's walking up to a stand that he regularly goes to. One we're all familiar of.

"Yo, Eda! What's up?" "*turns to see him*Oh, hey kid. Haven't seen you in a few days." "Long story I'm sure you don't want to hear."

The woman he was talking to was Edalyn Clawthorne. Eda for short. He comes over to Eda's stand on the regular because she sells stuff she gets from the human realm. He was interested on the things that humans had like mechanical vehicles, non-boiling seas and rain, weird and cool accessories and style choices, and different cultures, food, and ways to live.

He knows all of this by getting different books that he bought from Eda's stand. That and a few items. This also happens to be the place where he bought the shoes he has on.

"Got anything good?" "Sure thing. Gimme a second."

She went behind the curtain to go get something that might get Ace's interest. He waited while leaning against the table. That's when someone latched onto his back.

"Ace!" "Hey, King."

The King of Demons...is what King calls himself. He's actually a bit of a small fry and kind of cute when you look at him from different angles. And can get mad when you look at him like that. It looks cute when he gets mad, and then it becomes a loop. I know.

Also approaching was the oddest-one-out out of everyone on the Isles. The only human to have been seen in this realm in years: Luz Noceda.

"Whoa, who are you?" she said, seeing Ace. "The greatest kid to have ever been born on the Isles. Ace Adri at your service. So you're the human everyone's been going on about. The one who beat up Warden Wrath, broke into and got banned from Hexside, got into a witches duel at the con, and got into a fix with a book publisher. Well, aren't you the superstar."

She laughed nervously.

"(to King) Hey dude, guess who got something for ya."

In his hand was gold crown that he threw in the air, and it landed on King's head.

"Now this is a crown!" "Found that thing while dungeon diving. Found a ton of loot and found that. Even got a new look for my axe, check it out."

Ace held out his hand and in it appeared a black axe that was silver at the blade edge, had a dark red grip handle, three feathers at the dull edge of the blade, and on the blade was a gold spade. Luz looked in awe.

"Cool spade, Ace. Real original." said Eda as she came back with a seasoning bottle. Ace made his axe vanish as he took the bottle.

"Well, when you're the one that has a nickname like Ace of Spades, you can decide what your mark can be. *looks at bottle* Seasoned salt? Eh, might be useful." he said before putting it in his pocket, "Wish I could stay longer, but caves are calling my name. Gotta go."

He left a couple of snails on the table and walked off.

"Who was that guy?" Luz asked. "That's Ace. That kid might be a little chaotic, but he knows what he's doing. He ain't scared to show anyone else that he's not afraid to look danger in the eye. Like the son I never had."

"He could be your son, he lives his life alone remember?" said King. "Not a bad idea, but sounds like too much work for me."

"Wait, he lives alone? Where are his parents?" "No idea. He won't say."

Luz looked to Ace who was confronted by a ripped thug. "You'll be crying for your mommy in a second, kid."

"Can't. *smirks* Here's an idea: Don't go up to random children and try to beat them up."

Luz winced seeing Ace completely wallop the thug. Too bad it's off screen, we can't see.

It all stopped as it comes back on screen. We now see Ace pinning the thug down to the ground with just his foot.

His scroll appeared and he made it record the scene.

"And another bounty hunter bites the dust. (to him) How do you feel?" "(weak tone) Like I fell off a cliff..." "Good to hear. Enjoy the nap."

A knee to the face was all it took to knock the dude out.

"Who will be the next to fail? Will the Ace of Spades ever be caught? You better do it soon if you want, because I'm off to go adventuring again. See ya!"

His scroll disappeared and he went back to walking.

"Yep. Ace is something." "The best something." King followed.

For some reason, Luz had the urge to follow him.

Ace's seen treading through a forest, cutting away plants in his way with his axe.

He suddenly came up to a cliff with a rock bridge that look anything but sturdy.

"That could get me across."

He went over to it and walked nonchalantly across it. Not a care in the world.

"Anything thing else and this bridge would've-"

At those very words, the bridge started to tremble.

"How the-?" he said before looking behind him. There was Luz who was following him the entire journey. "Um, hi?" "Oh hey, it's you. I never got your name by the way."

Please tell me he didn't forget about the bridge about to fa- Never mind, it just fell apart with them on it.

Luz screamed as they fell while Ace just said, "So...am I getting your name or?"

Way deep underground...

Ace landed on his feet when the ground came.

When he heard Luz screaming, he held his arms out and caught her. She was still screaming though.

"Uh, human girl who still hasn't given me their name? We landed a second ago." "-AAHHH Oh."

When she got on her feet, the two looked around. Well, kinda. It was a little dark.

That was when Luz pulled out a light glyph and illuminated the place a bit with an orb of light. Ace was a bit amazed.

"Whoa, I thought humans couldn't do magic." "I found a way to use magic by copying glyphs." "'Glyph'? What's a glyph?" "Uh, the thing all witches use when they use magic? You know, the spell circles?" "Wait, is that why they draw circles in the air before doing spells? Huh." "Wait, you're a witch and you don't know what a glyph or spell circle is? How do you use magic then?" "Oh, I just..."

Ace slammed his fist into the side of the cave and suddenly jagged rocks rose from out of it. He raised his other hand and vines started rising out of the ground and around the cave walls. He then snapped his fingers with both hands and his nickname appeared above his head made from light.

Seeing Luz's wide open mouth, he knew that she hasn't seen witches use magic without glyphs before.

"If that's a surprise, wait 'til you see what else I can do." He changed the name of light above his head into an arrow then said as he started walking, "Any other questions? 'Cause I feel like you made a list just now."

Luz came out of her trance and followed Ace.

"Still haven't gotten your name by the way." "Oh, it's Luz."

It's been a decent amount of time exploring for a way out of the caves.

Luz only just met the guy and Ace was answering a lot of questions.

"How'd you get your name?" "Nickname or real name?" "Real name." "Well, it's a family thing."

A glowing spade symbol suddenly shined over Ace's left eye.

"Everyone in the family has a mark or symbol on their bodies somewhere. Our names get decided on what the mark is. Like if it was a flower, your name would be 'Rose'. If you had a water drop, you'd get 'Brooke'. If you had a bird, you'd probably get 'Jay'. I got a spade, so I was named Ace." "Wow. Okay next question-"

"Yeah, hold that thought."

They suddenly came to a fork in the cave. There were three ways to go.

"Hmm. We might need some help."

For some reason he said to his jacket, "*whistles* Red, need a hand!"

Ace's jacket got off his back and it transformed into a white wolf with red patterns. That answers the question Luz was about to ask about the jacket.

Ace knelt down and petted the wolf. She knelt down to pet him too as she said, "Aww, who is this?" "This is Red. Guy's been with me for as long as I can remember. (to Red) Which way, boy?"

Red sniffed around then barked down the cave on the left.

"Good boy, Red!" Ace said as the teens followed the wolf down the cave.

"How'd you and Red meet?" "I didn't meet him, I made him." "Made him?" "Yep. *whistles* Red, c'mere."

Red came over and to Luz's surprise, Red became a staff.

"He's also a palisman?!" "You got it, Superstar. When you're a part of my family, magic's different from anyone and everyone else's. That goes for the palismen. Depending on who or what they are they, can be other things. For example,"

Red turned to his usual form and jumped back onto Ace's back and became his jacket again.

"...things to wear." "...I so wish we were related."

Thirty more minutes later...

After more treading for a while, they came up to an area that had no where to go but up.

What was up? An opening.

"I do parkour from time to time, I can get out easily." "And me?" "Oh, right. Okay, scratch that."

Then Ace had an idea.

"I could do my tornado spin move." "What's that?" "It's this thing I do when I spin when I jump and it makes a tornado appear. I can move whatever's around me as well when it happens."

"Uh, won't we get dizzy from that?" "I just have to spin once while I'm in the air and it happens. You won't go spinning around it either as long as you hold onto me, so getting dizzy is an option if you choose it. Get ready!"

Ace jumped then spun in the air. When he did that the air around him and Luz started to swirl around making a tornado form around them. Luz felt the air about to swirl her around so she quickly grabbed onto Ace as the two started floating.

The tornado then flew the two up and out of the exit.

When they reach and landed on the surface, Luz said, "Yes! Finally out!" Ace however was looking around. "I forgot why I came out here."

Still looking around he suddenly pulled Luz out of the way of a boulder almost crushing her.

"Whoa! How'd you-" "Quick reflexes."

That one boulder rose back up as more came. They then came together to form two giant hands, each with an eye on the back of them.

"Oh right, the Hands of Rock, that's why I'm here. I came by these caves to see if they existed. If they did, I'd come to turn them into powder. I just gotta say though, lazy name."

The right hand suddenly moved back then came flying towards the two. Luz hid behind Ace as he rolled his eyes and smirked. Just as the hand was about to slap the life out of them, Ace counterattacked by spinning around and hitting his foot into it, causing it to fall to pieces from a strong kick.

"You can ask anyone I know and say, 'What part of Ace is the most powerful?'. They'd say my legs. I've kicked a lot of strong things, believe me."

The boulders became a hand again and Ace said to Luz, "Get back, Luz. *smiles*I'm about to put the 'pow' in 'powerful'."

He ran forward as the hands came back down to the ground. Just before they did, Ace slid under them and backflipped onto the right hand. He made his axe appear and as the hand rose back up trying to shake Ace off, he anchored his axe right into the hand. His spade then glowed as he raised his other hand. He was now in control of this Hand of Rock. He made it ball into a fist and made it go for a crash course for the other hand. When it went flying at a high speed, he dissipated his axe and before jumping off he said, "This might sting a bit." and punched the hand's eye.

When he landed on his feet from that height, and somehow survived, again I might add, he saw the hands come back together, the right's eye slightly pink from the hit. The right hand swooped in and tried to hit Ace, but he moved out of the way just in time. His spade glowed as his arms started to change. They were now made of abomination goo and vines. When his arms are like this, they're extremely stretchy, moldable, and reshapable. He raised his arms up causing two stone pillars to rise out of the ground. He latched each of his arms and started pulling back with all of his strength, which was a lot if you know how much force his legs can take.

He stopped pulling and with that much potential energy, he went flying towards the left hand and ended up kicking it in the palm. He fell off, but he used his arms to swing around and end up above it. He latched his arms into the ground below which pulled himself and the left hand into the ground. I think I forgot to mention that his feet ended up hitting the hand's eye when they were getting pulled towards the ground.

Did I forget it? I think I forgot it.

"Brace for impact!"

The second they hit the ground Ace retracted the arms, got off the hand, and changed his arms back to normal. He dusted his hands and walked away ever so calmly, when he felt something behind him, he turned to see both hands, with rage unknown. Both eyes were pink.

"Is this about the eyes? Don't worry, a few eyedrops and you'll be fine."

Both hands charged at Ace to grab him, but Ace yawned, and with that yawn, a wave of fire shot out of his mouth.

That's not a part of his magic abilities, if you were about to ask about that. Ace'll say something about it in a bit.

The hands tried blocking the flames, but they were too much. Instead, they were pushed back by them. When Ace closed his mouth, he readied himself and did a tornado spin. He spun even more and more making it strong enough to pull both hands into it.

Luz was watching everything happen from behind a jagged rock while recording with her phone. I mean, who wouldn't right? If you thought it was a cool fight, you're saying you wouldn't record it? Wow, just wow.

Oop, and the tornado's ablaze. Luz couldn't see what was going on inside, but she could hear a lot of intense beating.

The second the tornado went away, the hands went flying in two different directions while Ace lowered to the ground.

Little heads up for the future: If you see bold letters when Ace talks, that means he's saying it with fire coming out of his mouth.

"Whoo! That's how I like to live! Nothing makes you feel more alive then when you're almost dead!"

Luz ran up to him and said, "Where do I even begin?!" "You might want to start with the fire." "Oh, okay. How did those flames come out of your mouth?! Was that some kind of magic technique?" "Nah, I too many of these peppers and now I can burn stuff whenever I feel like it. Check it."

He turned around and breathed out a big wave of fire that could put a flamethrower to shame.

"Okay, next- AAH!" Luz was suddenly carried up in the air by one of the Hands of Rock. The other hand was with it.

"Hang on, Luz! I gotcha!" He took out the bottle of seasoned salt, and with all of his leg strength, he jumped high in the air.

"Surprise, surprise! All in your eyes!"

When he was up high enough, Ace put some of the salt in both of the hands' eyes. The stinging made the hand drop Luz. As she fell, Ace fell after her and when they were just a meter or so from the ground, Red got off Ace's back and became a staff and caught them just in time.

They flew back up and around to the hands whose eyes were now red. Ace stood up on his staff and readied his axe.

"You shoulda left for those eyedrops."

He swung his axe and, in an instant, both hands were in pieces!

As they were still flying, Ace sat down as he said, "You okay, Superstar? You've been quiet for a while."

"...That. Was. AMAZING! Those moves, that magic, and then- *squeals*" "*rubs ears* Mind giving me a warning next time you do that?" "Sorry! It's just that the entire time I've been on the Boiling Isles, I've never seen anyone use magic the way you do! Is that why you have a bounty on you?" "In a way. Read this."

Ace pulled out a wanted poster with a picture himself from his pocket that also read,

Wanted: Ace of Spades.

Turn in to Emperor's Coven alive.

Reward: 500,000 snails.

"Whoa." "I know, right? Here's the embarrassing part: There's thousands of coven scouts, and nine of the most skilled witches out of the nines covens, and how many, including the Emperor himself, do you think have been able to touch me at least once?" "Uh, none of them?" "Yep. The one coven that allows you to use all magic, couldn't keep up with me. A kid." "Wow, that is embarrassing." "Well, it's not the first time." "Huh?" "What? Eda didn't tell you about the one that got away?" "No. Tell me more."

Ace chuckled.

"Okay, about a decade ago, there was a five-year-old boy that suddenly appeared in the Emperor's castle. All heck broke loose that day. He was rampaging through the casle walls, laughing all the way. No one, and I mean no one, could stop him. Then he ended up in the throne room, where Belos was waiting. He tried all his might to grab a hold of him, but that kid wouldn't stop unless he wanted to. Belos ended up losing the fight. He was found knocked out."

"What happened?"

"The kid ended up kicking Belos. In. The. Face. The shoe print was still on his mask."

Luz gasped.

"When he came to, he was in a frenzy. No one ever saw someone that young face the emperor or his coven head on, and live. No one ever dared to let that happen again. *smiles* Well, until I showed up out of nowhere. Probably why I'm wanted in the first place."

"I wish I could've seen that."

"Trust me, you would."

At nighttime...

Ace brought Luz back to Eda, and she went on and on about what happened today, not surprising Eda or King. They knew what Ace was like.

Right now, we see Luz enter her room at the Owl House and looking out the window. She still couldn't get over today.

That's when she felt something in her pokcet. She pulled it out, and it turned out to be a gold star charm that was the size of the palm of her hand. On it was a note that read,

Use it to call me sometime!

See ya next time, Superstar!

She laughed.

Something told her that she would be running into Ace a lot.
