Julie finds out some things about a serial killer in her town and more importantly herself. I decided to give Molly a last name in this story, I don't think they gave her one in Idle Hands. Contains some drug content, sexual content and language. Please review!

Honking went on and on down below on the normally quiet street outside of the no name town, Julie James realized she missed her alarm, her best friend Helen Shivers was waiting outside for her for a good ten minutes. She had a math test that day and she felt so ill prepared, she was always known to be on top of things her whole life not partying or dating, ask anyone; Helen would always try to get her to get out more, actually experience high school outside of high school. Julie ran outside to Helen's brand new white Porsche, toothbrush hanging out of her mouth, "Come on, jeez! You know you're in trouble when I'm the first one up!"

When Julie sat in the front seat of her car, Helen noticed her shirt was inside out and it didn't look like she had much support for her chest, "Um, are you wearing a bra, James?"

Julie felt her chest, she could practically see her nipples piercing through the fabric "Dammit!" Somehow of all the things she forgot while rushing.

"You've become a total slacker," Helen sneered, she took a sharp U turn to get off of Julie's street, Julie was hanging out of the car, no seat belt strapped on.

"I don't know what's happened to me lately," Julie massaged her temples, "I've been so stressed out and I've been having these weird dreams..."

"Wait shut up!" Helen turned the volume up on her radio, the weird music cue at the tail end of a song always meant an urgent bulletin.

Julie did a double take, offended that the blonde would cut her off like that, "Did you just tell me to shut up?"

"Shh!" Helen insisted.

The two remained quiet as some dry sounding police chief spoke, "After the violent death of two teenagers identified over the weekend is now ruled a homicide, we are putting a curfew in place starting tonight. We want everyone off the streets by 8:30PM."

"8:30PM? My parents are out later than that!" Helen scoffed.

"We are asking for any information..."

"Yeah, blah, blah, blah!" Helen changed the station to one playing Bye Bye Bye by the Backstreet Boys.

"That's crazy," Julie said aloud, recalling two deaths the previous month, if they were at any way connected this could be an actual serial killer in their sleepy town.

"They better not cancel the Halloween dance," Helen said kind of snotty.

Julie frowned, she knew Helen could be callous sometimes, but she never thought she'd stoop this low, "Helen, four kids are dead now. All you care about is some dance?"

"Barry and I already got our costumes, ok? Plus it's going to be a special night."

"Why are you going all the way or something?" Julie teased.

Helen looked at her all confident, "Yes. A matter of fact. We are!"

Julie didn't know why this surprised her, she had already thought Helen and her long time boyfriend had already fooled around in the sack numerous times.

"Don't be such a prude, Julie," Helen said, chuckling at her friend's open mouth.

"I-I'm not I just thought you two...were intimate before."

Helen snorted, "Intimate? Oh, Julie, you really need to get out more. What's your costume?"

Julie had forgotten about everything related to Halloween, she didn't put a single thought into it, "I-I don't know I..."

"Wow, how stressed out are you? You're an A+ student, you'll probably be valedictorian or some shit."

"I always strive to do better, Helen. I want to go above and beyond. I just want to be ready for the real world."

"Real world? Do you even know what that is? I keep telling you, a bit of weed takes the edge off."

Helen had tried getting Julie to smoke pot in private before, but it always proved unsuccessful, she was way too paranoid about it.

Julie folded her arms in protest, "No way."

They approached the student parking lot and caught sight of overachiever, Molly Rodriguez being dropped off by her mother; looked like she was wheeling a big cello or something in a case.

"Looks like you're not the only golden child slacking today."

Molly would always be early, first one at school and the last one to leave; if anyone was more anti-social and preppy than Julie it was Molly, everyone at school always joked that her parents created her in a lab or that she wasn't human, she lived across the street from Julie since Sophomore year, she waved to her maybe once, she seemed like a sweet girl.

Helen noticed Julie staring at Molly, almost leaning forward over Helen, "Maybe we can set up a playdate," she teased.

Julie glared at her jokingly and let out a fake laugh, "Ha-Ha."

Helen parked her car in a spot where everyone could see how much her parents made.

"Is she who you wish you were?"

Julie shrugged, "I always wanted to play an instrument bigger than me."

Both girls laughed, "I'm getting you something special after your test. You've earned it.

"Helen, no, please don't," she knew exactly what she was getting at.

Helen was already out of the car, Julie was fumbling with her seatbelt, before she stood up, Helen pointed at her crotch, "Might want to zip up your pants, girlfriend!"

Julie saw her fly was all the way down and you could make out her cotton white panties, she groaned and zipped up.

By the end of the day Julie wasn't sure how well she did on that Math test, she knew she passed but below flying colors, maybe she really did need to take the edge off. She met with Helen in the parking lot and showed her what she was afraid of, Julie didn't know how many grams but it looked like enough to get them high for a month.

"No way," Julie protested, nervous she looked out her window and checked the mirrors for any faculty.

"Would you relax? Gosh, you might blow a blood vessel."

"Where did you get that much?"

"Those losers, Mick and Pnub."

"How much did you give them?"

"Nothin'. All I did was flash them one tit!"

Julie didn't know why she found that so funny, she fell backward and hit her head on her window, "Ah!"

"K, you're injured, time for Nurse Mary Jay."

Julie watched Helen roll a joint and light it up, she wasn't so sure, she wasn't even sure if she could handle one puff.

"Daaammmnnnn!" Helen said aloud, exhaling, Julie didn't want to ruin her lungs but Helen was not letting her off the hook.

"This is peer pressure."

"You would refuse a ladder if you were in a burning building."

"Huh?" Julie made a face, she thought maybe the dope was kicking in for Helen a little too early.

She couldn't get over the smell, she thought she could fake it but Helen was watching, she put it up to her lips and inhaled, Helen watched the paper burn. Julie coughed and coughed, she felt like she was dying for a second, Helen hit her in the back and told her to keep going. They puffed and passes for a while, Julie really wanted to get home and get a start on an essay that wasn't due for a couple weeks.

"This shit will make that essay look way better."

In a daze Julie askes, "Do you think so?"

Helen laughed, Julie had already forgot what they were talking about.

Julie woke up feeling kind of refreshed the next day, she stood up and stretched, she walked over to her window in just her night clothes, a baggy shirt and faded underwear; she felt like an old man scratching at her plump butt while looking out at the new day. She could see Molly across the street walking in front of her own bedroom window; all this time and she never knew that their bedrooms were almost parallel to each other, she wondered if she could see her. Molly turned her back to the window and removed her shirt, this seemed very private and Julie knew to turn away but a few seconds later she grew kind of curious to see how she started her day. Molly, now with a new shirt on stood in front of what was presumably a mirror in her closet, hard for Julie to really tell, but she could see she did some breathing exercises, maybe they weren't so different. At that moment of being a voyeur she felt something strange, she looked down and saw her right hand under her panties and rubbing herself! Julie pulled her hand away but it for whatever reason found its way back! Julie grabbed it with her other hand and found the finger trying to get at her face like the hand was trying to claw her face off.

'Is this what drugs do to you?' Julie thought in shock.

She looked back out the window, Molly was gone, hopefully didn't see her staring at her and looking like some crazed pervert. That would make headlines at least on the school paper that bookworm Julie James was some kind of degenerate nymphomaniac! When Julie tried changing, her right hand would toss what she picked and tried giving her a different outfit. It tried making her wear a swimsuit that Helen bought her; she never wore it feeling it was a bit too revealing.

"I'm not going to the beach!" Julie shouted at her own hand, slapping it; she knew she had to be losing her mind, she didn't know what to do, all she could think of was to call Helen and figure this out, those stoners must have sold her some bad weed. She remembered watching a special on the news once about how sometimes it can be laced with LSD, maybe that was her answer but if she was tripping there was no way she could leave this house until it passed.

Helen honked her horn outside.

To be continued.
