RAGING SEAS

A/N: Hi Guys! So, I'm back! And this time, I got a story about Hades adopting Percy, a son of Poseidon, and then Percy and Nico being siblings… idk how it will go forward, but this is the first chapter. Hope you guys enjoy it!

It was the darkest night of the year. Snow was falling all around making it seem like the whole forest was painted white. It was quite silent, except for the soft crunching of fallen leaves by the boots of a man, a tall man. He was wearing a black leather jacket, not that he actually needed it. His hood was up, so no one would see his eyes, his black eyes that were as gorgeous as the night scenery itself. He radiated an immense amount of power. With every step he took, the ground turned dark black. The little plants and flowers present were turned to ash. He was carrying a large black sword strapped to his back. He wore torn black jeans and black combat boots. The little bit of skin that was visible, was pale, as pale as a dead body. That man was Hades, the god of the underworld, the god that everyone feared, because everyone feared death… even when, Hades was not the god of death, he just looked after the dead. The god of death was Thanatos, but Hades was still feared. Hades was not welcome in the Olympian council also, Zeus personally kicked him out and asked him to not come anymore because he was very scary. Hades always remained sad, but that all went away when Persephone came down to him, even if that was only for half a year. But those were his favorite times, those were the times he was truly happy. But right now, there was no one there, Persephone was with her mother Demeter… and Hades was alone with no one except for the Furies, Cerberus, Charon and the Dead. Hades had a mortal lover, Maria Di Angelo, an Italian woman that he had fallen for. Of course, Hades swore an oath to not bear any children, so did his brothers Poseidon, and Zeus, And neither of them followed this rule. Zeus had a child Thalia. And Poseidon was rumored to have a child, Perseus, though it wasn't actually known. Hades never took his relationship with Maria that far that he would have children with her. Hades always was a man of his word, and he never went back on his promise. But then, he made a mistake… One day, Maria and he were having a party, they got drunk, and while it doesn't affect gods as badly it does to mortals, Hades still got intoxicated. And, you know what happened then. Maria got pregnant, and when she told Hades that, he fainted… which also doesn't happen to gods normally. The doctor then said, that there were two children, and Hades got even more shocked. He didn't know what to do! What would he tell Persephone, what would he tell to the gods, and what would he tell to himself! He never broke an oath, and now, he did. Anyway, Maria was 8 months pregnant. The baby bump was clearly visible. She would also continue to crave weird things like whipped cream on potato chips and tomato ketchup on bananas. Then came Bianca and Nico. Nico came 2 years after Bianca. Hades felt happy but sad as well. He couldn't stop thinking about what would happen if the Olympians and his wife Persephone found out. He quietly explained everything to Persephone, and even if she got angry and stopped talking to Hades for almost a year, in the end she forgave him. Now the matter at hand was that of the Olympians. He didn't tell them anything, but eventually they found out. Hades had been sneaking out from the underworld more frequently to visit his kids. He brought them gifts, like he gave Bianca a skeleton dog, and Nico a skeleton cat. This activity became suspicious. Soon Zeus found out but he didn't say anything. One day, when Hades was sitting and talking with Maria, while the kids were playing with each other…. A huge lightning bolt struck the top of the house they were sitting under. Everything fell down, instantly killing Maria. Hades tried to save her, but failed. Her body covered in blood, was lifeless and limp. The two children were safe but scared out of their life, hugging each other close. Tears fell on the dead body like rain. Skeletons started to rise out of the ground, that was becoming black and powdery every second. The Di Angelo sibling were scared out of their life. Hearing their whimpers stirred something inside of Hades. He took a look behind at the terrified faces of them. He quickly called the furies, and instructed them to wipe their memory and take them to a place where they will remain hidden from the rest of the world. Alecto bared her fangs, almost in a smile and took them to the lotus casino. Hades remained grief stricken for the remaining days of the year. (MENTIONS OF SELF HARM AND SUICIDE. IF YOU HAVE PROBLEMS, DON'T READ FORWARD AND SKIP TO THE NEXT PART AFTER THE BRACKET.)

He tried to kill himself, even if it didn't work. He took a knife and cut himself several times, and every time, the wounds just healed. He wanted to die, he wanted to become a mortal and die just so he could meet with Maria again. He even decided to revive her back, but he was stopped by some invisible force, literally, he couldn't move at all. (OVER)

Finally, when Persephone came back, he got better. But he still wanted revenge. So when he sensed Zeus's daughter coming to camp, he sent hordes and hordes of monsters to kill her, and they were successful, atleast to some extent. Zeus, that fucking son of a bitch, turned Thalia into a tree to immortalize her and keep her alive, to prevent anything of this sort from happening to someone else. Even, then, atleast he had a sort of satisfaction from that event, that the brat wouldn't be around anymore.

So now, back to the present… Hades was walking through the snow to the point where he had buried his lover. The grave stone was made from pure obsidian stone engraved with stygian iron. The names "Maria Di Angelo" shined through the night. Hades knelt down and put his head on the grave stone. "I don't know how many times I am going to say this, but… I am sorry, I'm really sorry that I wasn't able to give you the life that you deserve. You died early, you died when you weren't supposed to die! You were supposed to grow old and die a natural death. Your untimely death was my fault, oh! How I've wished that I could go back to that time and save you, but I didn't, I couldn't… I'm sorry." He said, his lips quivering, and his eyes watering. Hades may seem like a cold hearted person from the outside, but on the inside he is a normal person. Tears streamed down his pale face. That's when he heard the sound of wailing, like a baby was crying out for it's parents. Hades looked around, and saw a small boy, cuddled in blankets. He walked over to it… Hades peered at it cautiously and as soon as the baby saw him, it stated to laugh and flail around it's hands. However, Hades didn't notice that, what he did see was the eyes. The green sparkling eyes that churned like the ocean. Hades looked at the baby and he couldn't forget the striking representation that it resembled to His brother, Poseidon.

A/N: So that's the first chapter for you. I had fun writing it, idk how you feel about it, though, do let me know in the reviews! Have a happy and good day and live a long life! Bye!
