A long, long time ago.

In a land far far away, lived a monster without a name.

This monster wanted a name very badly.

So he left to go on a journey to find a name.

But the world was so large, too vast for him.

So he split himself into two to travel the world.

One went to the west, the other to the east.

The monster who went to the east found a village

At the entrance of the town was a blacksmith.

The monster asked, "Mr. Blacksmith, please give me your name."

But the blacksmith refused, saying "You can't give away your name."

So the monster made an offer, "If you give me your name, I'll enter you and give you strength."

The blacksmith said, "Really? If you make me stronger, then I'll give you my name."

And so the monster entered the blacksmith.

The monster became Otto the blacksmith.

Otto became the strongest man in the village.

But one day he said, "Look at me! Look at me! Look at how large the monster inside me has become!"

Crunch Crunch!

Munch Munch!

Chomp Chomp!

Gulp!

The hungry monster ate Otto from the inside out.

The monster was nameless again.

Even when he entered Hans the shoemaker,

Crunch Crunch!

Munch Munch!

Chomp Chomp!

Gulp!

He was a nameless monster again.

When he entered Thomas the Hunter...

Crunch Crunch!

Munch Munch!

Chomp Chomp!

Gulp!

Once more, he returned to being a nameless monster.

The monster came to a castle to find a wonderful name.

In the castle, was a sick boy.

The monster said, "If you give me your name, I'll give you strength."

The boy answered, "If you can cure this illness and make me strong, I'll give you my name."

The monster entered the boy.

The boy became well.

The king was pleased! The prince is well! The prince is well!

The monster liked the boy's name.

He liked living in the castle.

So even though he was hungry, he endured.

With each day his stomach growled, but he held on.

But one day, he was so hungry he said "Look at me! Look at me! Look at how big the monster inside me has become!"

The boy ate the king and his servants.

Crunch Crunch!

Munch Munch!

Chomp Chomp!

Gulp!

Since no one was left in the castle, the boy went on a journey.

For many days and many nights, the boy had walked.

But one day, he met the monster who traveled to the west.

The boy said, "I have a name. It's a wonderful name too."

The monster who traveled west said, "I don't need a name. I'm happy even without a name."

"We just have to accept that we are monsters without a name."

The boy ate the monster who went to the west.

He finally had a name, but all the people who could call him by his name had disappeared.

A shame, it was a wonderful name too.

"Trevor!" a voice calls from outside the house.

A hand closes the book {The Nameless Monster, by Emil Sherbet} and places it on a dinner table.

A brown-haired woman opens the door, squinting as the light shines on her glasses before finding a purple-haired yellow-eyed dark-skinned teen who wore a blue jacket over his black and purple t-shirt.

"Hop! Good morning!" she greeted, ignoring the white ball rolling past her.

"Top of the morning to you, ma'am!" he greeted back with a smile as his hands held the back of his head. "Is Trevor home? We planned to meet up at the lab early today," he explained.

"Oh! I think he's still asleep. Let me-"

"Hold up." he stops her turning in her overalls as he counts from three in his hand.

"3, 2, 1..."

"GYAAAAAAHHHH!"

Hop chimed, "May I?"

She steps aside, "By all means."

He enters the tidy house where a living room to his left is complete with a television in the corner, a couch with a table in front, a bed for a little munch monster, and a fireplace near the telly. He turned right as he entered the dining room and kitchen before exiting the room, passing a plain white door as he reached a slightly opened door.

Hop quietly opened the door as he stepped into the room.

"LET GO OF MY EAR ALREADY!" yelled a messy-haired tanned teen in camo-green shorts, ruffling his white t-shirt as he pulled a wool ball away from his body.

"Beh!" Said the ball of wool biting the teen's ear, stretching the skin of the helix and the lobe.

"Ok, I think he's awake now, Wooly." Hop chuckled as he grabbed the sheep Pokemon who released the ear. "Also morning, Trevor."

"Beh!" Wooly greeted, dangling in Hop's arms before being placed down.

"Mornin' Hop." Trevor greeted, rubbing his ear. "Isn't it early for this?"

"It's 7:30."

"Oh is that right-" he pauses as his eyes widen. "We're late, aren't we?"

"Yep."

"Crap."

"I'll wait outside."

"Yeah, thanks. I'll be out in a bit."

Hop and Wooly exit the room, closing the door as the sound of crashing and smashing can be heard behind.

"Back in the Pokeball you go, Wooly."

He kneels and pulls out a red and white ball with a button before tapping Wooly's nose with the button, opening the ball as Wooly briefly turns into light as he enters the ball, closing the moment he went in.

"Would you like anything before you go?" Trevor's mother asks as Hop stands.

"I'm good. Thanks for letting me help him up."

"Oh no problem, Hop." she waves off, "You better get going. He'll be out shortly."

"Okay, thanks!" he thanked her as he exits the house.

The moment Hop entered the garden, he stood by the mailbox and is welcomed by the view of his hometown, Postwick.

Wooloo herds lazing on pastures as Butterfrees fly across the grassy fields, while farmers harvest their crops with their families.

Hop smiles as he feels tapping on his calf, looking down to find a Budew smiling at him.

He bends his knees as he pats the Pokemon's bud-

"Hey, Hop!"

He flinches before creaking his head back to see Trevor wearing a pair of jeans, brown high-cut shoes, a plain white t-shirt, and a green jacket worn like a cape. His eyes widen with a cheeky grin at Hop who widens his pair in fear as he scans his extended metal arms seething with red energy between the gaps of the metal plating.

Hop then realized he was in between the stretched arms, which formed a slingshot.

Hop pales his complexion as he pleads, "NononononoNONONONO!"

"FIRING MAIN CANNON!"

Trevor exclaimed as he blasted off the ground, with his right arm ramming into Hop's gut, launching the both of them airborne while he screamed, hopelessly trying to grasp hold of his surroundings. His stretched arms retracted, pulling Hop close to his body as the two are shot toward the next town over.

Back at the house, Trevor's mother crosses her arms as she leans on her door's mull post.

"I tried to warn him..." she sighed, placing her hand on her cheek as she watched the two boys approaching the nearby town.

Meanwhile...

[Now arriving at Wedgehurst station.] a train's speaker announced. [Please wait behind the white line.]

A train arrived at the town station, releasing steam as it brakes safely.

[The doors are now opening] The train's speaker informed as the doors open. [Thank you for riding with us.]

Several people exit the train, gathering their luggage or conversing with one another while a man in a pair of white and black sports shoes walks onto the station platform followed by an orange draconic creature, wagging its flaming tail.

Few bystanders gasped at the man with sponsor logos covering the back of his red fur-lined cape that waved in the flowing wind with his long purple hair.

He walks to the exit in white shorts with white tights underneath a black and gold diamond pattern on the sides.

He exits the station as his rather tight black striped shirt is basked in the sun's light as it shines on the sword and shield logo on the shirt's front.

"Hello, Wedgehurst," he mutters as he adjusts his cap, revealing his yellow eyes, "Leon has returned." he sighs with a longing smile as he views the people going about their day as he turns to his left, reminiscing the surrounding buildings and houses.

"I was expecting more 'oomph' in your return, champion," a voice commented, causing Leon to turn his head straight, finding an old man wearing an ascot cap carrying a wheelbarrow of fruits.

"Mr. Bramble?" Leon asks.

Bramble smirks as he tilts his cap, "'Can still remember your local berry vendor. But can you still remember where I live?" he laughed as he shook hands with Leon.

"Ehehe..." Leon sheepishly laughs while rubbing his nape. "Aside from that though, I'm surprised nothing changed around here." He stated as he looked at his surroundings. "Everything's the same as it was years ago."

"Ha!" Bramble barked, "If only that were true."

"Huh?"

"Bah, don't worry about it." he waved off, "Those kids and that brother of yours liven things up in this town."

"Hop? What did he-?"

Bramble turned his head toward the sky, squinting from the sun's rays.

Leon turned in the direction he faces as he spots a silhouette from above.

He also heard screaming.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!"

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"

The champion's eyes widen at what appeared to be two people falling from the sky.

One was screaming his tears out while holding on to the cackling person for dear life

"Charizard!" he turns to the 'dragon' who spreads its wings as he gets into position.

But pauses his action as Bramble holds out his arm.

Suddenly, the laughing boy throws his metallic arms, extending toward both the station tower and a house's chimney, grappling both buildings.

As both he and the other boy sped past between both buildings, the stretched arms stopped their momentum before slinging them backward, retracting his arms as they landed near a tree.

The laughing one flipped back in the air before skidding his metal arms on the ground while he crouched, letting the wind blow the dust off his green jacket.

While the screaming one tumbled back as his front smacked at the tree trunk before slipping down as his head touched the ground, and fell on the back of his blue jacket while groaning.

Leon watched it all with wide eyes before blinking as he and his Charizard turned to-

"Made it!" the boy with the green jacket exclaimed, laughing as he raised his arms which somehow returned to being fleshy limbs.

A familiar boy smacked the other's head.

"What was that for!?" barked the boy in the green jacket while cradling his head.

"For trying to kill me, you idiot!"

"You said we were late!"

"Yeah, but did you have to slingshot us to Wedgehurst!?"

"First off, it's a cannon and second, I did!"

"Well, why would you say it like a special move or something?!"

"I thought it was funny! I mean, She-"

He's cut off when the blue jacket slaps over his mouth.

"Dude, are you trying to get us canceled for copyright infringement!?"

"Like hell I am!"

"Then why were you about to say the name of a tank lady!?"

"Cause it's her name isn't it? She-"

"Will you knock it off!?"

"Oh wait, we're late."

"Oh for- fine, let's go." The boy in blue sighed as they made way to the lab-

"Hop?" Leon asked, causing the boy in blue to halt his movement.

He hesitantly turns back and widens his eyes when he spots Mr. Bramble with someone he hadn't seen in a long while.

"Lee...?" Hop gasps, stepping back as Leon widely smiles as he goes up to Hop, and gives him a bear hug so big he carries him off the ground.

"I missed you so much, little brother!" he grinned as he put down his brother. "Look at you! You're as tall as my-"

"Hop, what're you doing!? You're gonna miss the presents!" Trevor exclaimed as he runs toward the purple house.

"What the!? Get back here!" Hop cursed as he dashed to the building.

"Hop, wait up!" Leon chased after his brother as Charizard followed, after rolling his eyes, leaving Bramble on his own.

"Heh, kids these days." he chuckled as he made his way to his store.

Waltzing into the lab, Trevor stops in the middle of the heavily booked but tidy room, breathing in the herb-scented air.

"Sonia!" he called, cupping his hands around his mouth. "You here!?"

He lowers his hands to the muted response as he heard the door behind him open and the sound of running.

"Bwah!" Trevor yelped as Hop tackled him from behind before falling to the floor face first.

"Ugh..." Hop groaned on Trevor's back as Leon walked into the lab.

"Here you go," he said as he pulled up his younger brother off of his friend as the two stood.

"Weird, no sign of Sonia," Trevor observed.

"Maybe she's picking up some books from Magnolia's lab?" Hop guessed.

"It's possible, but I don't see where she'd store the rest of them," Leon deduced, crossing his arms as Hop nodded.

"Oh yeah, I just remembered." Trevor bobbed his head.

"What is it?" Leon innocently asked.

"Who are you?"

...

...

...

"Dude. Seriously? How could you not know Leon!?" Hop exclaimed.

"I dunno..." Trevor shrugged before cupping his chin. "Should I know him?"

"He's the champion of Galar!"

"You're going to have to narrow it down for me..." Trevor winced.

"He holds the title of 'The unbeatable Champion'?"

"...You're going to have to narrow it down a bit..."

"I'm a massive Charizard fan?" Leon added.

"Charizard? Really?" he tilts his head, raising an eyebrow.

"He sucks with directions." A voice answered, catching the attention of the two brothers.

"Ah." Trevor pounded a fist into his palm. "That guy!"

A giggle entered his ears as he felt a pair of arms wrap around his neck before pulling him in.

As he blinked, he felt something soft pressing on his nape before looking up, meeting a smiling face with a pair of aqua eyes and peach-colored hair with a ponytail littered with heart pins.

"Sonia!" Trevor smiled as he turned his body, returning the hug as he pressed his face against her teal blouse.

Leon watched the young trainer get his face smothered between Sonia's boobs.

"So-"

"So, why'd you tell us to meet you here this early?" Hop asks as she releases Trevor who took a step back.

"Hihihi..." she digs through the pocket of her skinny jeans before pulling out a small red tablet and tossing it to Hop, "Catch!"

"Woah!" Hop exclaims as he drops the tablet before it starts to float, flashing a laughing face on the screen. "Is this... A Rotomdex!?"

Trevor's eyes widen as he turned to Sonia "Does that mean...?"

A red blur flies out of Trevor's pocket, zooming across the room before stopping at Trevor's face, adjusting its purple lensed shades as it flashed a grin.

For some reason, he was wearing a tiny fish suit.

"Hoy, small fry!" the phone greets, whipping out a calligraphy brush, "Need a map?"

"Did that Rotom just talk!?" Leon gasped.

"Wait, is that Tom!?" Hop squealed with stars in his eyes.

"You kept your promise!" Trevor smiled, tightly hugging Sonia as she pats his back.

"Insert celebration music!" Tom chimed, somehow out of that fish suit.

"Now Trevor," she began, holding both of his shoulders. "Since you'll be taking on the gym challenge with Hop,-"

"I'm sorry, what!?" Leon gasped, though was ignored.

"-What's the one thing you need before anything else?"

"Food?"

"Pokemon."

"I was going to say that."

"No, you weren't."

"You can't prove that."

"Then who brought the Pokemon?"

"That's why you needed these!?" Leon accused, gesturing at three Pokeballs on the desk.

"Yes, we'll talk more later." Sonia waved as she turned back to Trevor. "So, any questions?"

"Why do I have to pick one?" he asked. "I thought Creed will be my partner?"

"Well about that..." Sonia rubbed her nape, giving a sheepish smile. "I-"

*BAM!*

The door slammed open as a panting man in a cap entered the lab finding Leon staring.

"Champion! You gotta help!" he exclaimed. "Someone broke the fence to the Slumbering Weald and now one of my Wooloo rolled into the forest!"

Upon hearing the news, Hop and Trevor nod to each other, both snatching one Pokeball from the desk before dashing out of the lab.

"Wait, stop!" Sonia shouted, taking the third ball as she and Leon gave chase.

On their way out, they spot Trevor gripping two trees with his stretched arms as Hop pulled him by his shoulders.

"Trevor! Hop!"

She shouts as the two are flung toward the forest, leaving a small cloud of dust.

"Sonia, come on!" Leon called while climbing on Charizard's back who stretched his wings.

"One sec!" she said before biting her forefinger and thumb, whistling at a high pitch. "I hope they're alright..." she took Leon's hand, who pulled her up to Charizard's back as he took off to the forest.

Standing on the roof of the lab, a small blue dog-like figure watches the two take off before vanishing into a blur.

Lost in the woods, a Wooloo trots in fear, away from a looming presence behind him.

A daunting quadrupedal figure stalks the lamb ball with trained eyes on the supposed prey.

The Wooloo peeks at his shoulder, seeing the pair of eyes distancing from him as he sighed in relief.

Before he hits his face and staggers back.

Shaking out of his stun, he looked above only to pale at the sight of a large, red, thickly furred wolf staring down at the small ball of wool.

As he stepped back, shivering under its gaze, he runs away from the predator, only to halt in his tracks as a large, blue, braided wolf blocked his escape.

The cyan wolf lowers its head, getting a good sniff from the shivering sheep.

Before Trevor appears and drop-kicks the 9'2 wolf.

~Insert BGM: "一途" by King Gnu~

He lands in front of the Wooloo while Hop vaults over the red wolf before sending a kick to the face before rolling up to the sheep.

"You take red I take blue." Trevor directs as he pulls out a steel pipe from under his jacket.

"Got your Pokemon ready?" Hop asks as he pulls out two miniaturized Pokeballs.

"Just one," he answers, pulling one out of his left pocket.

"You got a handicap you know." Hop raises his fists and leg at the red wolf

"Nah." Trevor shrugged, swinging the pipe to his side in a tight grip, "He'll be here soon."

The blue wolf bares its teeth at Trevor while the red wolf stands dominantly over Hop.

Trevor charges at the blue wolf, throwing a left straight that sends his opponent away from the Wooloo.

As his companion gives chase, Hop is tackled by the bulky wolf, rolling on the ground as the Wooloo escapes the battlefield.

Hop throws one of his balls in the air, releasing Wooly from his containment before tucking in his head and legs to form a wool ball.

As he skids to a stop, he jumps into the air, slamming the wool ball with a kick that sends his partner crashing into the wolf's head, stunning the opponent.

Hop smirks, dragging his thumb under his nose as he spins himself in the air before kicking the wolf in the face, sending it in the opposite direction of Trevor's before giving chase.

Trevor strikes the pipe down at the blue wolf, striking at multiple angles as it dodges every hit before stepping back into the fog.

Heightening his senses, he hears unsheathed metal as the wolf slashes at him at blinding speeds. Narrowly avoiding a cut near his torso, he jumps back as he bent backward like limbo as a tree from behind is cut clean off the stump.

Rolling on his back, Trevor blocks a downward attack with his pipe, now analyzing his opponent.

In the mouth of the scarred wolf is a rusty sword, aged from point to pommel as sparks flew from the clash.

The wolf sees a glint in his eye before dropping his pipe from the clash in exchange for a left kick to the wolf's head, dropping its weapon as the tree crashes down him.

Grabbing the rusty sword he splits the falling tree in two as the wolf widens its eyes, watching the faint glow from the blade wither before being thrown at a tree at its right, embedding the blade within the trunk.

The wolf hears a whipping noise, turning to the source to find the boy's pipe spinning in the air before being grabbed and held over his right shoulder.

Eyeing the opponent, his left arm is extended away from himself, finding a blue wet chameleon clinging to his forearm, retracting his tongue as his watery eyes gaze back at the wolf.

"Get ready, Gex," Trevor warns as the Sobble on his arm shakily nods as his trainer aims the lizard at the blue wolf.

Dashing through the woods, Hop slides as the red wolf crashes through a tree breaking it into splinters Hop protects his eyes while kicking Wooly like a Football.

As the red wolf turns back at Hop, it charges at the boy.

Hop shot at the red wolf who deflected Wooly into the air but not before Hop threw his second ball into the air, releasing a red and white rabbit with large blazing feet.

The Scorbunny kicks the ball of wool with a burning foot, bursting on the wolf's body which causes it to stagger.

Upon its stun, Hop dashed toward his opponent, leaping into the air as he lands for a drop kick.

"Light 'em up, Kouta!"

Streaks of water soar amidst the forest, bouncing off the wolf's rusty blade.

Trevor aims his left arm as Gex the Sobble grips his forearm continuously shooting streaks of water from its mouth.

The wolf charges at him, dodging the incoming shots while reeling its blade before leaping above, spinning into a downward strike at Trevor.

"Tongue!" he exclaimed as Gex shot his tongue, grappling onto a medium-sized rock in front of him before pulling it to block the strike and roll to his side.

The wolf cleaved the rock in half airborne as it landed, turning its body to strike at Gex's trainer, throwing him across the forest as he dropped his pipe in the process.

As Trevor tumbled like a fleshy tumbleweed, he held Gex close, shielding him from the debris as they crashed through trees and into a rock before falling off.

After the crash, the Sobble looked up to his trainer, squeaking in fear as blood trickled from his head.

He smiled at Gex as he stood, wiping his head with his arm aside before grabbing Gex and jumping to his side as the blue wolf crashed with a downward slash with its sword.

Grabbing his pipe, Trevor countered the attack by swinging from beneath, striking the wolf's chin before jumping back as it shook its head.

Sneering at Trevor, he returned with a smile as Gex crawled up to his shoulder.

He then ran away from the wolf.

It then growled before giving chase.

Hop sprints for his life before rolling as the red wolf crashes into a tree before turning back at his target lying on his back.

Kouta drop kicked the side of the wolf's head as he circled the wolf while dribbling Wooly.

The red wolf pounced on Hop who kicked the wolf's gut from beneath, springing it over him before jumping back on his feet.

"Beh-beh!" Kouta called out as he lit his foot before igniting Wooly, kicking him into the air.

The wolf turned back as Hop kicked the flaming sheep at his target before getting deflected to the side.

Hop landed as the wolf charged, closing distance from the kicker as he heard footsteps from behind.

He turned as Trevor leaped with his pipe in hand and smacked the wolf to the head, throwing it back as it landed on its feet.

As Gex crawled up to Trevor's forearm, the blue wolf pounced from behind before a small foot kicks the wolf's face before exploding as it was sent back.

The blue wolf landed as the dust cloud dissipates to reveal a bipedal hound colored black and blue with blood-red eyes. A blue glowing energy dances on the Pokemon's hands and legs.

"Creed!" Trevor smiled as the Riolu turned, offering a thumbs-up before putting his hands in a boxer position as he stands by the pipe-swinger.

The blue wolf and the red wolf surround the two trainers who face their adversaries back-to-back.

Trevor clenches his pipe as Gex tied his tail to his trainer's upper arm while Creed concentrates surges of blue aura on his arms.

Wooly rolled up to Hop before he placed his foot behind the wool with Kouta standing on the sheep.

"You ready for this, Hop?" Trevor laughs with a feral grin

"Hell yeah, I am!" Hop replied with a growl holding a similar grin.

Both wolves dash toward the two as Hop kicks Wooly at the sword-wielding wolf while Creed leaped onto the red wolf, rearing his fist back as Trevor reared his pipe back before the two clash with the shielded wolf.

Well now, this certainly changes things, doesn't it?

Oh right, welcome dear readers to the rewrite of Pokemon: RTG!

Why did I rewrite it? Because I felt like doing so, deal with it!

The last version lacked any effort in writing it all and ended up making a generic staple for Pokemon MC inserts! Self-inserts and all of 'em Sue and Stu OCs!

So, I decided to go with this style of writing, so that way anyone who tries to copy this style would look like a f#~$ing idiot trying to steal someone's work.

I mean the details would be obvious if they know what those references are from. If not? Well... good luck trying to explain.

Anywho, this marks the (technical) beginning of our staple (insert drumroll):

Questions!

Here I personally answer questions from my dear readers of the story!

Any questions you have can be posted through the reviews!

I'll try to answer them as best I can!

Anywho, on to the first question!

Q: I have a question! Which of Trevor's Pokemon has a huge appetite like Trevor? - Megan Romero

A: Hmm, the closest Pokemon in his current team that I could think of is Creed the Riolu. Those two have been together the longest so they also shared the same appetite.

Q: Will Eternatus and the Hero Duo get a role that is more fleshed out and expanded? - Jacob9495

A: Well they're not ghosts so that answers the fleshed-out part, but I don't think they're the kind of dogs that can stretch. At least, like that anyway.

Two questions so far... not bad for a good start. Anyway, see ya in the next chapter!
