Change of Scenery
INTRODUCTION
Charlie Brown was seated at the table at home. He had a report to write about what he did that summer. The first day of school had pass and the kids had gotten their first assignment. Usually, Charlie Brown would struggle with such reports, but this time he had quite a bit to share about this past summer. He made sure Snoopy was well fed, and that Sally herself didn't have any homework that she would try to pass on to him to do, so he wouldn't be disturbed. He even contemplated going to the library at one point, but figured he would be better off at home.
He pulled out his notebook and started writing.

"My summers are usually like any other day; dreadful, full of worry, wondering if I'll mess up. Usually, my stomach would be hurting due to having to play another losing baseball game, or having to deal with a kite getting stuck in a tree, or just being me, in general. This summer, however, was different. Not only did I NOT have to deal with any of those things I mentioned, but I avoided much of it this time around because I actually did other things besides baseball and kite-flying. I didn't even have to deal with going to camp this year. This summer was very different from the past summers I've had. And it was actually enjoyable…"
