Disclaimer: I decided to archive my other story, Zootopia in a different world, as this story will replace it. Yes, I know, many of you liked it, but this one is going to be better. Now like always, I will start this one off as rated-T, and depending on how it turns out, I might change it to rated-M, which could be a possibility. I hope you guys enjoy! (P.S, I will be doing a story on Narnia soon, depending on how the first four chapters of this story turns out.)

Chapter 1

Out of anything you would expect out of predators and prey, is the predators would eat the prey. For a long time, predators have eaten prey for survival, with bigger predators eating smaller predators, eventually leading to the biggest predators dominating the food chain. But not in Zootopia. Zootopia is a place where all animals can live in peace and harmony, no matter if you're big or small, or if you're predator or prey. But is that really true? No, it's not. You see, not every animal in Zootopia gets along with each other, especially predator and prey. But if predator and prey were to get along with each other really well, a great example would be Officers Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde. Officers Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde don't just get along really well, but they're also the best of friends. For a year now, both Nick and Judy have been best friends as work partners in the ZPD workforce. But also, they care for each other, which makes them unique from all the other animals in Zootopia.

It was just about time for roll call, and all the animals in the room were either hyped, quiet, or fighting. Nick and Judy on the other hand, were talking to each other with a few other officers, when the door slammed open. In came the tall authoritative buffalo figure of Chief Bogo. The whole room started to burst in uproar, with a majority of the officers banging their fists against the tables they are sitting at, including Nick and Judy. There were a few newbies at the back, confused at what their elders were doing. Sliding on his reading glasses, the buffalo started sliding through the progress reports.

"A couple of things needed to be done today" Chief Bogo announced, he didn't bother to greet anyone in the room. "First things first, I hear there are a couple new recruits in here. I guess I'm supposed to greet you all one by one, but I I don't care. Deal with it!" he glared at the back of the room, with the rookies breaking out in sweat.

"Assignments for today" the Chief announced as he continued to scroll through the papers, usually pairing new recruits with experienced officers. The Chief had some respect for the new recruits, unlike Judy, whose gone up a few ranks in a matter of weeks.

In five minutes, the room was empty leaving both the fox and rabbit last to get their assignment.

"And finally, the unlikely partners, Hopps and Wilde." The buffalo stared down annoyed at the two. "I can't go much into detail with this one, nor do I care to. but ask Clawhouser for the case file." Bogo slid off his glasses, and slammed the door shut behind him once he left the room.

Entering the research media room fifteen minutes later, the room seemed quite empty at the time. At once Nick and Judy started studying the case file that they received from Clawhouser. Though, this case file has never been handed out to any officer before. Yet, Nick and Judy are the first to get such a dangerous assignment. It was another assignment far away from the city, not even close to any of the farms where Judy grew up at.

"Serial killer disappears for ten years after running from several murders", Nick knew this couldn't be a good one, and a dangerous one. A serial killer, really? As the rabbit continued to read on, all Nick could think about was regretting the assignment at this point, after the things Judy read aloud. "250 miles to the east of the frontier plains,… gosh that's far!"

Ok, now the fox really wanted to snatch the case file from his partner and give it back to the idiot who assigned it to them. Well, as Judy was studying the case file for the next two hours, Nick got bored of reading the papers. So the dumb fox fell asleep from being bored. In a matter of minutes, Judy realized the sound of her partner snoring, so she turned and smacked him.

"Ow, what was that for?" Nick asked his partner. The rabbit smiled in return, closing the case file. She felt sorry for her partner, and wondered how he even got through training if he can't even follow simple instructions. "You wanna get some lunch with me?", with the rabbit asking Nick that, kind of brightened the fox's face back up. He was hungry, and all that reading sure did make him hungry. And as she asked him that, Nick's classical grin crept back slowly to his face. "You bet!"

The two made it just in time to catch some seats for themselves down at the café, a decent amount of officers had gone to catch a quick meal before their assignment. Nick barely even took a bite out of his bacon sandwich when Judy just finished her salad, letting out a burp that just isn't her. Damn that rabbit's fast!

"Nick, I've calculated the distance to where we need to go" Judy addressed Nick in her professional tone. "It's about 500 miles away from here, which it's going to take us at least five hours at the most." Judy finished her sentence.

"Jeez carrots, that's a long way!" Nick said as he slid on his shades.

For two hours now, the cruiser sped along the rural areas of the frontier plains, leading to the middle of nowhere. The roadside advertisements stopped appearing about an fifty minutes ago, and the appearance outside the car began to spook Nick a little. He kept reminding himself, that he is riding in a ZPD cruiser, and he has one of the bravest officers the ZPD has to offer by his side.

Judy on the other hand, continued to drive down the endless road, struggling to keep her eyes open. The road clearly was endless. No sign of civilization, no gas stations, not even a single farm in sight. Judy was determined to keep driving. Although this kind of bothered her a bit, there was something else on her mind:

last night, Judy agreed to Nick that she would go on a date with him, but apparently, she didn't feel comfortable doing it. With all the discrimination between predator and prey, nothing is a secret in Zootopia, especially when a predator dates prey. But there was one more, her career. If someone from the ZPD catches her and Nick dating, the two of them could be fired for good. And she has seen this happen to some animals in the workforce. She didn't want to lose her job at all, nor her best friend.

But while these thoughts were being processed through Judy's head, Nick was keeping track of navigation for the past three hours. And as he was, A few roadside advertisements for dining, shopping, and lodging showed up. Nick was kind of confused about what kind of city they were approaching, and why advertising billboards were in the middle of nowhere. But soon enough, the radio station that was playing changed to some different station. Judy snapped out of her thoughts, and immediately heard what the radio was playing.

"Oh, we're halfway there. Oh, living on a prayer!"

But just as the radio fully changed channels, a sign of civilization was near. Blinking lights were up ahead, billboards, and a few cars passed by. What? Both Nick and Judy were really confused, Until a building was in sight. Closer, and closer, the more buildings were able to be seen by the two animals.

"Uh carrots, I think were lost." Nick said, as he looked up from the map he was holding. The map said they're way far off from where they needed to be, in fact, they are not in Zootopia anymore. With so much anxiety building up inside of him, the fox had to know what was going on.

"Judy, stop the car."

"What?"

"STOP IT, PLEASE!" soon enough, the cruiser pulled over on the side of the road, just to see they were in a different city. But what city was it? It sure the hell wasn't tundra town, way too warm for it to be tundra town. And way too cool to be the desert. A huge Billboard stood in the distance, not too far away from the cruiser.

"Watertown town square?" Nick read the Billboard, and turned to face his partner who was thinking the same as him; Watertown?

A few minutes later, once Nick and Judy parked the cruiser in the nearby Target parking lot, a few things did not seem certain to both the fox and rabbit. One was, there were no animals at all, except one; a different kind that is not covered in fur and has lightly haired skin, with only a scuff of fur on the top of their heads. Two; every one of those weird creatures weren't predator, nor prey, but actually both, so there is nothing to worry about for these creatures. Three; color discrimination never seemed to be a problem in Zootopia, but with these weird creatures, it is. The creatures skin varied in color, from white to peach, and tan to black, and these creatures make fun of each other by their skin color?

Where were Nick and Judy? And are these creatures actually animals?

Nick and Judy proceeded to walk towards the entrance of the Target supermarket, with all sorts of people giving them nasty looks. Nick didn't feel comfortable in this type of situation, neither did Judy. What they didn't know what was, they've been transferred from their world to our very own. It was such a coincidence, that no one has in Zootopia has ever experienced. And things in a matter of minutes, were not going to turn out well.

First chapter, let me know what you guys think about it. I do want to say, that I used a bit of reference for this chapter, from one or two stories, even including my own. I do want to note, that the weird creatures are humans, and color discrimination is racism. Like I mentioned, I will be doing a story on Narnia, but probably after about four chapters of this story. Review if you liked it, for feedback, stuff I can improve on, and story ideas for this story. Thank you, and nil out!
