Alright everybody. Welcome to The Ascension Saga Book Two! This story will cover the six years in America, and yes, it will be six years, not five. You'll get some answers to questions that you had when there was the timeskip in book one.
We will see many things, from Eri, Durza, and Kota growing up, to Dabi's successful attempt at love. Of course, there will be some funnier scenes, such as the fire couch. For those of you in the discord, you know what I'm talking about.
We'll cover a few quirk evolutions. Partnerships between symbiote and human, and of course, the infinity stones.
I will post an author's note on the first book. So if you're seeing this, don't read it, It will just be me telling people that the next story is out. The reason for that is that not everybody favorited me, which I don't expect them to. The story will also be "M" Rated. I want to include some more gore and blood. I mean, people were disappointed when I did the Vlad King death, which I have to agree, it was pretty lame. I'll make it better when we get back to that point.
People on the discord know what I have in store, as they have read the death scene of Mineta, and another death scene that will be in my next big project after the ascension saga is finished. Speaking of new projects.
There will be a story that I am taking on as a challenge. I don't know when I will get to publishing it, but I will get it out to you. It will be 1-A doing playthroughs of three games. Probably, Yakuza 0, Skyrim, and my personal favorite, Hollow Knight. :3
Also, thank you to my friend Izaya-Yozora, for the OC. There are a few slots that still need to be filled when it comes to OC's, just so you all know. Those will come later. But if you want to send me an OC to use, you can. Just PM me the OC details if you want to take part. :3
So, without further ado, let us begin. I, Sushui Temitsu, am delighted to welcome you to the second book of the Ascension Saga. "5th Gen"
I hope you enjoy.

"Let's go everybody! TO AMERICA!"
"YEAH!"
Everybody walked through the portal, one by one. Izuka smiled at Toga as she walked through, before walking through herself.
She breathed in as she stepped out onto a concrete doorstep. Izuka closed her eyes and breathed in. She could smell salt on the air, they were by the ocean. She smiled, and walked into the building she had been set at.
Inside was different from the old base. It reminded her more of the apartment building she had lived in as a child. The walls were cream colored. A few cracks could be seen running along the paint. The floors were covered in a black carpet, at least in the hallways. Each space was small, having its own kitchenette and single bedroom. Izuka opened one door to find Hatsume completely rebuilding a room to be a dining room/meeting room. She smiled as she closed the door again.
Eri, Kota, and Durza chased each other through the halls, giggling a bit. Izuka noticed that her first child was being careful to only catch the other two when they would run into something. 'Oh Durza. You're gonna have a lot to deal with when you're older.' Izuka smirked, before walking into her own room.
Shigaraki, Toga, and Kurogiri stood there. Toga smiled at Izuka. "Well… do you like it?" Izuka looked around to see that the entire living space had been remodeled to be exactly like her old home. A tear rolled down her cheek, and she hugged her girlfriend.
"I love it. Thank you sweetie…"
"Sweetie…" Tomura mumbled. "You got a promotion Toga."
Izuka, Toga, and Kurogiri chuckled. "I put you out front so we would have a bit of extra time to remodel. Truth be told, when you said we'd be leaving, we started on this. It was Tomura's idea."
Izuka turned to her brother. "Tomura… You thought of this?"
Tomura blushed and turned away, scratching his cheek. "Well… I thought that you kinda should have it… you've been through a lot recently and-" He stopped as Izuka wrapped him in a hug.
"Thank you… It means a lot…"
Tomura patted his sister on the head. "No problem."
"Now… who wants to go explore this new place?" Izuka asked.
"I am!" Toga chirped.
"I'd be happy to look around with you." Kurogiri said.
"I need to make sure that I can complete a map of this level…" Tomura muttered. Izuka rolled her eyes.
"How many video game references will you make while we're here?"
Tomura chuckled. "A lot."
The four villains talked a bit more, before walking out of the room. Izuka went to check on the children before leaving and found them curled up with Mirko, who wore a gentle smile as she softly stroked Eri's hair.
Izuka smiled and quietly closed the door, before walking out to join Shigaraki, Toga, and Kurogiri. The four closed the door behind them, and stepped out onto the sidewalk.
The sky was grey. It was raining. The buildings around them were quite tall, reaching up and scraping the clouds. Izuka frowned as she saw citizens pass homeless people by. 'Rude. Why not help a person in need?' Off in the distance, there was a rumble of thunder.
"Where are we Kurogiri?" Izuka asked.
"New York City. Manhattan, to be precise." The misty man said. He pulled out an umbrella from one of his portals and opened it. Shigaraki created one using one of his quirks. A quirk he had collected while scouting out other countries. Toga was given an Umbrella of her own, by Kurogiri. Izuka refused as he offered one to her.
"I want to feel the rain here… It might sound weird, but just let me. Please."
Kurogiri nodded. Tomura began walking forward. Toga smiled at Izuka and beckoned her to follow. The group slowly began making their way through the city.
Izuka sighed as the raindrops hit her face. Each one giving a small cold peck, before dispersing. She smiled at the feeling.
The group explored the city with awe. It was massive! There was no way to see the entire city in the time they had.
Izuka giggled a bit as Toga tried some of the local food from some street vendors. Toga's cheeks turned pink and her eyes sparkled.
"Hey! Izuka! You should try this too!"
The greenette nodded and walked over to her girlfriend. She took a bite of Toga's food and smiled. "It is very good."
"Ah. Japanese I see." The vendor said. Izuka turned to the young man to see him smiling.
"Sorry. It was so good I forgot to speak in English!" Toga smiled.
The man chuckled. "There's no reason to apologize! I'm glad you enjoyed it! Are you visiting from Japan? Or have you been here your whole life?"
"We Just got to New York. We're new to America, but we hope to stay here for a while!"
The man nodded. "Well. I hope you enjoy your stay! What's your name?"
"My name is… Hisui Shimura…" Izuka said. "This here is my brother Tenko. My girlfriend, Himi Ketsueki. And this is our cousin, Oboro."
The man nodded. "It's nice to meet you. The name's Harlequin. If you ever need help finding your way, or if you four just need a friend, I'm here."
Izuka smiled. "Thank you Harlequin. Well then… time is flying by! We should get home! I hope you get more business!"
The young man laughed. "Oh don't worry! Luck is often on my side!"
As the four walked away, the young man pulled out a phone. He quickly dialed a number. "Hey. It's me. You'll never guess who just got to America… this could be exactly what we needed."
Off in the distance, thunder rumbled yet again. Harlequin smiled.
"Yes. I think that they'll be more than enough." The young man watched as a bolt of lightning crashed down out of the sky. "More than enough to overthrow the fourth gen."

On the other side of the city, civilians were rapidly evacuating. Two large villains, accompanied by three more smaller villains, were busy fighting with two heroes. One wore a red white and blue suit, and wielded a circular shield. The other had blonde hair and wielded a strange hammer. The handle was oddly short. It was clear that it was meant to be a war hammer, but war hammers were supposed to have longer handles.
This didn't seem to matter to the blonde hero, who whipped the hammer around themselves, before smashing it into the ground. A bolt of lightning crashed down upon one of the larger villains. The villain screeched in pain, but shook off the attack.
"No good Cap! The big one has some sort of lightning rod quirk! It draws my attacks in and negates them." The blonde shouted.
"We need help." The hero tapped his ear. "Tonya!"
"What is it?" A voice yawned on the other end.
"We need help here!" the hero shouted, leaping up and throwing his shield. The weapon flew at one of the villains and knocked them out, before flying back to the hero's arm. "We've got a villain that negates thunder thighs attacks!"
"Thunder thighs?" The blonde questioned.
"Just a nickname. You can deal." The blonde rolled his eyes. The red white and blue hero continued with the call. "Tonya. We need help now!"
"I'm sure you can handle it. I mean, I just watched you demolish that guy."
The hero was about to say something, when one of the huge villains punched him back into the side of a building. The hero leapt back and returned the favor.
"TONYA! NOW!"
"Fine. I'm sending in Hawkeye. He should be at your location soon."
"THAT'S IT?"
"The others have lives too Ed."
"Screw you." The hero grit his teeth, and rushed in to fight. The blonde hero rushed in with him. The two heroes combined efforts easily stopped the smaller villains. The bigger villains were the problem. They were like sponges. Every hit just didn't matter.
"Damn…" The red white and blue hero cursed. An arrow flew out of nowhere and embedded itself in one of the villains' eyes. The villain crackled with electricity, and slumped to the ground.
"Well it's about time." The red white and blue hero said.
"Sorry I'm late." A girl dressed in a black hero outfit said. In her hand was a black compound bow. "I hope you two are okay."
"Don't worry about what happens to us. Worry about what's gonna happen to Tonya when I get back."
The new arrival chuckled. "Always Iron man and Captain America fighting with each other. Ridiculous."
Before they could say anything, the other giant villain rushed them. The three heroes leapt out of the way. The hero we now know as 'Captain America' threw his shield at the large villain. The villain caught it and tossed it away.
"You hurt friends… You must pay…" The villain pulled out a large syringe of black liquid.
"Is that-?" The blonde hero went wide eyed.
"Trigger. This won't be good." Captain America said. The villain stabbed the syringe into their leg and injected its contents. He gave a roar as the drug took effect.
The villain doubled in size, his skin became black and his eyes became red. A layer of spikes grew down his back, making him look like some strange killer armadillo demon.
"Prepare to die heroes."
"And this is why I told Tony to send more help." Captain America shook his head. "Guys. If this is our last fight, let's make it one for the history books."
All three heroes charged in with a fierce battle cry.

Izuka yawned as she looked out the window. It was peaceful. More peaceful than it had been in a long time.
"This is nice…"
"Yeah…" Toga sighed next to her. Izuka chuckled, wrapping her arms around her girlfriend. Her ears twitched as she heard something distant. She felt something was wrong.
"Hey Toga… I'm going to step out for a bit, is that okay?"
Toga nodded and rolled over, smacking. Izuka planted a kiss on her cheek and pulled on a jacket. She grabbed a black umbrella before walking out into the rain.
Izuka's full outfit was a black skirt, with a striped long sleeve shirt. Her jacket was black, and she wore a grey scarf around her neck. On her head was a grey beanie. The girl sighed as she heard the tap tap tap of raindrops on the umbrella.
The villainess walked on and on, tracing the source of whatever disturbance she felt. The greenette eventually found a destroyed street. A man in a red white and blue suit fought against an evil armadillo. The hero's two allies were slumped on piles of rubble, unconscious.
Izuka slowly walked towards the fight, catching some of the words being shared between the two fighters.
"... Monster…You killed them!"
"Not dead… Unlike you."
The evil armadillo hit the hero back into a wall. Izuka heard a sickening crunch as the hero's bones shattered. He was still conscious, and somehow found the energy to look up. Izuka walked towards him.
The hero's suit was shredded. It revealed his scar covered body. His eyes were bright blue. His hair was black and messy. The hero blinked as he saw Izuka, not knowing who she was.
"What are you… NO! GET OUT OF HERE!"
The villain cackled and ran at Izuka. Everything seemed to move in slow motion. The hero screamed.
And then Izuka caught the villain's punch like it was nothing.
"What?" The hero blinked.
"Wh-who or what are you?"
Izuka tilted the umbrella back a bit, showing her face to the villain. The giant screamed. "NO! NO! I'M SORRY! WE WERE JUST TRYING TO TAKE SOME KIDS SO WE COULD-"
"Shut up." Izuka growled. She squeezed the villains hand, crushing it and making them howl in pain. The hero was gawking at this teenager who had just shown up and forced a villain to their knees.
"Who are you?"
Izuku turned and looked at him. Her gaze sent shivers down his spine. Her eye glowed its toxic green color. "I guess I can tell you as you don't have much time left."
Izuka walked over to the hero and looked at him emotionlessly. The hero searched her face for an answer. She seemed so familiar.
"Izuka Midoriya."
The hero blinked. "I guess I understand what you meant by 'I don't have much time left'. You're the one who destroyed All Might."
Izuka nodded. "Yes. Do you know why?"
Captain America looked up at the sky, allowing the rain to hit his face. "You're quirkless right? It's because he was another part of the problem. The problem that's been ripping us apart for years…"
Izuka nodded. "So… what is your opinion on that matter?"
"I support your ideals. My younger sister is quirkless too. I always told her she could be a hero." Captain America coughed. Blood dripped from his mouth.
"As I said, you don't have much time. I don't have anything to help you. This time… it's the end."
Captain America gave a sad smile. "It's okay… I knew a day like this would come eventually… Do me a favor. Make that world a reality."
Izuka nodded. "I will."
The hero smiled and sat down. "All right… can you take this to her?" He handed Izuka the shield. "Take this to my sister. I want her to be the next. Tonya and the others will try to choose the next captain themselves, but I want it to be her."
Izuka crouched down and accepted the shield. "I'll do my best to make her a hero that brings you pride."
The man smiled. "She's already brought me pride by never giving up. Now… I want her to bring peace."
And with that, the world's fourth Captain America gave a smile, tilted his head back, and breathed his last breath.
Izuka blinked at the dead body before her. She turned to the villain, who glared back at her. "Why? Why help those filthy heroes? I'LL KILL YOU MYSELF!"
"Shut up." Izuka said. She threw the shield forward at such blinding speeds that his head was sheared clean off. The villain slumped to the ground, dead. The shield whistled back to Izuka's hand. She caught it and began walking away.
The only sounds were the fall of raindrops, the slight rumble of thunder, and the small splashes of Izuka's feet as she walked through the puddles on the sidewalk.
As Izuka made her way back to her new home, she made a promise to herself.
"I will make this girl the first quirkless hero, and the strongest hero in America."

Thousands of miles away, Nezu and his army of hero's burst into the League's old base. There was nobody there. Nezu instantly began searching, but found nothing. Nothing except a laptop on a table. Nezu locked the door behind him and sat down in front of the computer. The screen flickered on, displaying the League, minus Hatsume, Mina, and Midnight, who Nezu didn't know about yet.
"Hello Nezu." Izuka said through the video.
"Izuka… Where have you gone?"
The girl giggled. "You don't need to worry about me for now Nezu. I have children to raise, so I'll be out of your fur for a few years."
Upon saying that, a chorus of giggles revealed Eri, Durza, and Kota sitting with Mirko. Nezu's eyes narrowed.
'Kota too…'
"Why are you doing this Izuka?" Nezu asked.
"You should know why by now Nezu." Izuka smiled. "You're one of the only heroes in Japan that I don't hate with a passion. You actually try to change things, as you have experienced some of the things I have." Izuka traced a finger down the scarred side of her face, Nezu did the same.
"We will return one day Nezu, and when we do, we will bring a storm of fury that destroys the modern view of hero's. And when that storm subsides, there will be a new society, stronger, safer, and more equal than the one we have now. The question is,"
The video began dimming.
"Which side will you take?"
The screen shut off, and Nezu sighed. The chimera looked down in his paw, where the a silver necklace with two charms rested. One was shaped in a likeness of himself, holding up a paw. It was a pose he often took while making announcements, because it reminded him of Shida. The other was a likeness of his best friend and crush from his school days in UA.
"I guess… I'll wait and see."

Alright. So here's chapter one. I hope it lives up to your expectations. This part of the saga will be really fun to write. There's so much stuff planned.
I will be cross posting on FFN, Ao3, and Wattpad. My update schedule may be slower than normal, but we'll see. I never have been one to stick to schedules. :3
Once more, this is Sushui Temitsu,
Signing out.
