Survive
"How long," the tall muscular male stared out to the vast blue sea. A bored expression on his face. "Do you think it would take before you finally break?"
Her chest tightens as she tried to clench her fist. On her knees arms raised apart to her side. She allowed herself to be pulled up by the chains.
'They didn't find out, right?' her thoughts began to run wild as she watched the male in front of her.
"If I left you locked up somewhere cold and dark. Would that work? Watching you rot could be entertaining." He stared at her the small spark of excitement in his eyes made her bite her bottom lip in frustration.
"It worked on your sisters." Smirking he watched as she thrashed at her chains trying her hardest to free the cherry stone locks.
"They say humans need company," Hattori muttered out. "They can go crazy."
"You're right. She hates us so much though; maybe it'll be more enjoyable, hm." Titling his head with the pigeon they stood in front of her thinking.
"That's how I imagine death. A cold, dark cell unable to move, to see, everything has just gone. Pure nothingness." Chuckling he turned to her once again tilting her bruised face up to him.
"You wouldn't do that." Forcing her voice to come out calm, she shook in fear of him. "There wouldn't be any enjoyment on your part."
"How bout we take a gamble." His teeth grinned as she showed her a cruel wicked smile.
"I bet you'll break and submit completely before your little 'King' ever comes." He grinned watching the little light she had in her eyes dimmer further.
"He won't come." She whispered, causing him to chuckle further at her dismay. Turning he uncovered the all too familiar Kameko. Setting up her daily broadcasting to the Tenryubito and Marines.
"Oh, we'll see." She shook as she felt her body go cold. Her king? Hers? When did she need a King? When did she need anyone to protect her? When did she need a man to come to her rescue? No one would come for her. Not now, not ever.
"The Pirate..." Lucci started his speech. The same spill he did before he entertained the disgusting pigs. She was to be used as an example. It was hysterical. Her an example? For what? To go out and destroy islands? To rebel against the men that destroyed you? Or maybe it was to show a warning of this foolish weakness she possessed.
Love? Chuckling to herself she was soon coughing. Spitting up the blood from her empty stomach. Lucci smirked at her watching her slowly die.
"Ch...HAHAHAHAHA." Glaring at her he watched the Pirate Empress force herself into light chuckles. "Why are you so sure?"
"What?" Lucci glared watching as she looked over him with a smile.
"Why are you so sure someone would come?" Giggling at her predicament she couldn't help but chuckle. "Pft, you killed everyone who ever loved me."
"My sisters, Salome, my people, even my mother. So who exactly is supposed to come for me, Puppeteer?" Her chains shook as she tried getting closer to him.
"Who else are you going to take from me? A man I care nothing about?" Blood splurged from her grin covering the stained deck. She glared up at him falling back to her knees. "Or? Did you finally find out my real sin?" Lucci immediately strikes her punching her in the gut causing her to cough up the little substance left in her stomach. Shutting her up he watched her regain her breath.
"So... You don't know." Chuckling she presented a bloody smirk at the snail, laughing as she knew the elders were in an uproar. Stomping away Lucci slammed a door shut leaving her in front of the still-running snail. The cold wind blew her hair forward causing her to chuckle further.
'Sister.' Her head bolted forward. She was hallucinating she knew it, but she couldn't help but smile brightly at the image of her siblings in front of her.
Marigold grazed her cheek and at that moment she could've sworn as her sister held her cheek in her palm that it was real.
'Sister.' Turning to Sandersonia she felt tears puddle under her eye. She looked just like the last time she saw her. Beautiful, brave, and daring. She smiled with her tongue out as she walked behind her.
'Child.' Lady Nyon now stood in Marigold's place. She was holding a scolding yet loving expression as she looked into the Empress' eyes.
'It's Time'
She couldn't feel the collar that held her to the ground anymore. Looking at the broken pieces of cherry stone beneath her she could only take deep breaths. Marigold and Sandersonia pulled on the chains that held her to the ship. Moving her arms forward to help the two, she could hear the wood splitting as the iron chain slammed to the ground beside her. Marigold slammed her blade across the metal shattering it from its base.
The chains pooled behind her as she stared lovingly at her family. Turning she saw every last Kuja woman present. Her eyes stung as she cried harder seeing the smiling faces once again.
'Be safe Empress.'
'We love you.'
Hancock for the first time in months felt her heart pulse in happiness. She listened to her people's prayers.
"Survive"
"I am an Empress." Turning to face the glaring figure above her she smirked feeling a surge of power. "Why would I need some King?"
