"Now tell me again why I'm out here with you two?"

"Come on, a little sibling outing wouldn't hurt you."

"Well the last time I did anything with you guys, I had to spend all day cleaning fire bee honey out of my hair." She watched as her brother spun around and reached out to her.

"Come on mittens, loosen up, nothing is gonna happen," Edric said as he ruffled her hair. Amity smacked her brother's hand away as she walked ahead. She didn't know how she had the patience for those two. They were constantly getting her in trouble, messing with her studies, and always causing trouble for their parents. All she wanted to do was work on the homework for her abomination class, she needed to stay on top of her class and above that half-a-witch Willow.

Amity was snapped out of her thoughts when her siblings grabbed her and brought her behind an ice-scream sign. "Right there, that's our target," Emera said forcing Amity's head to look towards an odd stand. Amity was confused about why this particular unfortunate stand was going to fall victim to her sibling's antics, but she knew that they wouldn't let her go so she just went along with it.

Emera went on, "That's the Owl Lady, the apparent strongest witch on the Bowling Isles and one of the biggest scammers here too." "So, where are you going with this?" Amity questioned wondering what her siblings we planning. "We're getting to that little sis," Edric reassured her, he continued on ", so… we thought what could be any cooler than scamming the biggest scammer on the Boiling Isles!"

Amity gave them both a look of disbelief, "What in your mind thinks you can scam a scammer!?" Both her siblings look back at her, "Who said anything about, we?" Amity looked back, now with a terrified look on her face," No! No, You know what? I'm not doing that, I'm leaving," Amity said as she started walking away.

"6/6, I called my teacher mom again", Amity froze at her sibling's words.

"It would be a shame if this got out, huh Mittens?", Edric said holding up a book. Amity quickly spun around launching an Abomination spell towards the book but Edric quickly stepped out of the way with Emera summoning a rock at Amity's feet to make her trip.

"Now, don't be hasty lil sis. You'll get it back, just as long as you do what we say." Amity stood up dusting herself off and looked at her siblings with an annoyed look on her face, "Ok, ok, what do you want?"

"Good," Edric said pulling out a piece of paper and laying it on the ground, "Here's the plan."

It was a slow day for the Eda the Owl Lady. She didn't understand, she went out and collected the most amazing human collectibles. Her stand had all sorts of objects ranging from death devices to the latest human fashion. It didn't make sense why no one wanted to buy her stuff. Of course, if her stand didn't make her money, she could just pick-pocket some unlucky witch for some pocket change.

Eda quickly perked up when she a pair of twin witchlings walking toward her stand. "Hey, Owl Lady we wanna talk," the brother called out to her. "Finally someone who has some class," Eda said as she pulled up some goods to sell, "so… what you want to buy?"

"You misunderstand, Emera, leaned close, "We want to talk about your other business."

"Oh, I get it now. What do you want to know?"

Amity wondered how she always kept getting into these messes. She didn't even know how her siblings found her secret diary. But she knew if she didn't do what they said they would spread it around the school. And Titan forbid if that ever happened. Her social life would be ruined, so she had to make sure not to mess this up.

All she had to do was sneak into the stand while Ed and Em distracted the Owl Lady and find some dirt that her siblings could use to get some money. Shouldn't be hard, right? Amity watched as her siblings walked up to the stand, starting a conversation with the stand and wasted no time quickly entering through the back to start looking.

There were all sorts of oddities in there, a doll with a hanger, a weird shoe with holes named after a reptile, and some other things, but nothing that could be used for blackmail. She looked around a bit more and saw a door hidden behind some boxes. Amity summoned some abominations to quickly move them out of the way quietly.

"There's gotta be something in there," Amity said walking to the door and turning the knob. The door slowly opens revealing a lush forest with blue skies. "Woah, there has to be something in here," Amity said as she walked through to the other side.

Eda had enough of these two twins. They were clearly up to something. Old age didn't just give her dashingly good looks, it gave her street smarts and she knew a scam when she saw one. "Ok you two, what are you up to." The sister of the two spoke first, "What do you mean, we just wanted to get advice from the best scammer on the Boiling Isles."

"Yeah, its not we were trying to scam you," the boy said breaking the lie eyes widening realizing his mistake.

"Edric!," the sister scolded him.

"Alright scram you two, I got a business to run," Eda said spinning the two around and pushing them to start running. As she watched the two run off, Eda sighed, "Reminds me of the good old days." She turned around and headed into her tent to check her supply.

As soon as she walked in she felt something was wrong. She summoned her staff and started to sweep her tent looking for anything out of place. She quickly found her portal door wide open. She squinted her eyes, staring at the door…

"Owlbert, how many times do I have to say it," she said turning to the palisman on her staff, "make sure to close the door when you come through." Her palisman just shrugged and went back to sleep while Eda slammed the door shut and folded it up for transport.

Eda cast a spell to quickly pack up all her things and started to leave. "Alright let's go, mama needs her apple blood."

"Mami, Estoy en casa!" Luz Noceda said walking into the living room of her two-story house after a long day at school. She had a book report due today and decided to not use the snakes and the fireworks like she had planned. Ok, ok maybe it wasn't her decision cause her mom stopped at her door, but still, it would've made that project way more interesting.

Luz stepped into the kitchen to grab something to snack on before going upstairs to work on her fanfics a bit more. Just before she was about to open up the pantry she spotted a sticky note on the door.

"Out for work, make something for dinner. -Love Mami"

Luz sighed she knew that her mother's veterinarian job required a lot of time and that was doing it for her but it still didn't help the loneliness that she had with her not there. She opened the pantry and grabbed a couple of granola bars, stuffing them in her pockets. She would worry about dinner later.

While making her way to her room, she let her mind wander on what adventure Azura was going to go on next in her story. She sighed, why couldn't she go on adventures like Azura, fighting dragons, befriending rivals, and finding love? Luz didn't hate her life but she just wished she had something to do or even some friends to talk about her hobbies with. Everyone at school thought she was a weirdo and never talked to her.

She entered her room and sat down at her desk. Grabbing her notebook and pencil, she closed her eyes for a moment and took a deep breath.

"Ok Azura, let go on an adventure," Luz said while smiling

-Couple Hours Later-

*CRASH*

Luz snapped up from her desk, looking at the clock on her desk, 7:00 P.M. She must have fallen asleep while writing and not realized it.

*crash*

Another crash of trashcans could be heard outside making Luz jump. She quickly made her way to her window to look outside and couldn't believe her eyes. Outside stood an odd minty-haired girl. Luz pressed her face to the glass to try and get a better look. She saw that the girl had long pointy ears that looked way too real to be fake. Her eyes widened as she saw light come from the girl's finger and all the trashcans slowly rearranged themselves.

"I KNEW IT!" Luz screamed realizing that witches were real and she had just seen one. The mysterious figure looked up at her with a panicked look on her face and sprinted off. "WAIT," she tried screaming at the stranger's disappearing figure. Luz, not wanting to waste this chance, quickly put on her shoes and sprinted out of her house. The door slammed behind her as she looked around for the minty-haired witch, and started running in the direction she went.

Luz kept running, catching glimpse of the witch, attempting to call out to her," Wait!, I just want to talk." But it was in vain, the witch had no signs of stopping. Luz finally burst into an open clearing and watched as a door to an old cabin slam shut. She leaned on a tree, wheezing. "Curse my weak, little nerd legs," she said catching her breath.

She slowly made her way to the cabin still trying to talk to the witch," Hello, I just want to talk. It's okay I don't mean any harm." Luz listened for any response but after not getting any she continued, "I'm Luz Noceda. A human. What's your name?" She walked up the porch with each board creaking under her weight. She was just about to open the door when a voice stopped her.

"Stop! Please, just leave me alone," the voice on the other side of the door said. Luz was surprised at actually getting a response, but what surprised her the most was the tone of her voice. It sounded lonely, just like her. Luz was just about to respond when she heard a faint grumbling on the other side of the door. She giggled, "Are you hungry I have food if you want it?" Luz said fishing the granola bars from her pocket.

Luz sat there for a couple of moments with no response from the person on the other side. Realizing she wasn't getting anywhere with this, she got up, leaving the granola bars by the door. "Fine, I'll go. If you need help just head to the house you just came from." Luz said heading down the steps away from the cabin.

Luz made her way to the edge of the clearing and was just about to enter the brush when she heard a voice call out to her,

"Wait."

Luz turned around and saw the witch standing there in the doorway. She examined the person in front of her. She was surprised, the girl in front of her couldn't be any older than she was. Her minty hair flowed gently in the breeze, her big golden eyes surrounded with evidence of tears. Luz blushed a bit at the pretty girl in front of her and was glad for the fading sunlight.

The girl walked up to the Luz, "Do you have any more of those bar things?" Luz had to take a moment to realize what she said and responded, "Oh, Um yeah, here." Luz extended her hand offering the granola bars. The girl quickly snatched the food startling Luz. "Man, got some quick grabbers," Luz said jokingly waiting for the girl to finish her food. Once she was done Luz asked again, "So what's your name?"

The girl wiped her mouth with her sleeve and looked at the human in front of her, "Thank you," she finally said and continued, "My name is Amity Blight. And I need your help."

Hello readers. Welcome to my brand new Lumity story. If you don't know I previously had written stories on the Starco ships a while back. Feel free like and follow and leave any comments or reviews. I love to to know what you guys think.

Just a quick warning. My writing schedule is horrible but I'll try my best.

I hope you enjoy.
