Disclaimer: So for those of you who're wondering why I decided to remake Paw Patrol X, it's for a few reasons. First off, the Hearts of Truth thing wasn't really going anywhere until the time called for it, so that'll be scrapped for here. Second, while there will still be farts in this story, I think the original story had WAY too many starting from the middle of season one. And finally, I want the characters to feel as refined and lovable as possible, and the fact that I changed Marshall showed that I failed at that goal in the original. So that's why I chose to remake Paw Patrol X. Lol I just realized what the name of the pilot can represent in multiple fashions.

And without further ado, let's begin with the new version of Paw Patrol X. Enjoy, and feel free to review, favorite, and follow!

Also, this should be fairly obvious, but I don't own Paw Patrol.

Paw Patrol X

New Recruits arc Episode one: A New Beginning Part One

As a pitch black screen lit up, an island was shown with a town residing in it, and it seemed to have a pretty decent amount of life present in it as well. The grown ups were socializing and discussing their own lives and hobbies, the kids were playing and getting into shenanigans you would expect kids to get into, and there were plenty of places to show that the place had everything one would need, such as schools, a police station, and even a local park. But our story won't be focusing on any of them. Our protagonist is right here in a house near the docks.

A two story house was shown with a red coat of paint and blue stripes, and on the inside was a standard living environment with a living room, a kitchen, bedrooms, and a bathroom. After getting a good look at the place, the hind legs of a Dalmatian were then shown, and the camera then gave a shot of his upper body, as he was shown happily carrying some bedsheets to the washing machine. As he set them down, he looked down at them and then at the washing machine and dryer. "Alright. Let's get to work!"

The young puppy then started putting the laundry into the washing machine while having everything he needed, or at least he thought so. After he made sure everything was in the washing machine, he overheard someone who sounded like an older child from the other room. "I'm really glad you liked the application enough to want me over there." Rushing over to find out who it was, the Dalmatian puppy found his older brother in his room on his laptop, where he was currently in the middle of a video chat. "My little brother insisted he take on both our chores just so I could get it turned in."

The puppy then became ecstatic, putting on a happy open mouthed smile as he knew what was happening. This puppy's name is Flare. At the young age of seven in a world where dogs age at the same pace as humans, Flare is the youngest of three with a single mother, and as such he was the most niave of the family, but he also had his good points. Flare was a selfless child who was willing to help anyone in need, and due to his bubbly and optimistic personality, he was always happy to make new friends and help those he cared about with anything they needed, even if he offered it before they asked for it.

This was one of those cases where Flare's immense level of excited-ness got the better of him, as he rushed over to his brother and started hugging him while cheering, much to said brother's laughter. "You got in! I knew you'd get in, Marshall! This is so cool! I'm going to be related to a member of the Paw Patrol!" Flare then noticed a sly grinning German Shepherd watching his little joy attack. This was Chase, an eleven year old German Shepherd, and second in command to the Paw Patrol. "Oh, I'm sorry. You're Chase, right? I got so excited that I must've forgotten the call was still going."

"Don't worry about it, kid." Chase assured Flare, knowing that he would be in the same boat as him if he were in his paws. "It's always nice to see a younger sibling who wants to help his brother."

Marshall, Flare's ten year old brother, was like Flare in a couple ways, being that he was cheerful and optimistic, but he was more reserved than Flare, and was also a little clumsy at times. He could also be a little easily frightened, and wasn't the best at working under pressure, but like his younger brother, he had a strong sense of justice and wanted to help anyone he could. As he rubbed Flare's head, he did inform Chase about one thing going on in his life. "So how much will it cost to go over there? My mom works three jobs and we've been struggling lately."

"Actually, believe it or not, we're already getting started on paying for your trip!" Chase revealed as he showed Flare and Marshall the boat they would be taking, causing the two of them to look in awe as Chase asked Marshall a question. "So, Marshall. Do you want first class, or normal class?"

"Wait. That's not just with planes?" Flare asked with a confused look on his face, leaving Marshall and Chase to start laughing as Flare shrugged and continued listening to the call.

As nighttime dawned on Flare and Marshall's hometown, their mother was helping Flare get ready for bed as Flare brought up how proud he was of Marshall for his latest feat. "Marshall's gonna be great in the Paw Patrol. I still can't believe they're paying for his boat ride."

Flare's mother showed a look of skepticism on her face. She had to admit that while she was proud of her son and was aware of his skill, she didn't know how she felt about him leaving home at a young age. Even with how well the Paw Patrol has been doing since it was founded, she didn't want to lose any of her children. Flare noticed this and walked up to her, which she noticed instantly and explained why. "I'm just worried about Marshall. I know he earned that position, but he's still young, and he's moving out tomorrow."

Flare knew that undermining her mother's thoughts wouldn't have helped, so he decided to instead assure her that Flare would be okay. "It's like you said, mom. He earned the position." Flare's mother realized that she did say those words, and Flare took notice to her expression change as he finished what he had to say. "I don't think they would've picked him if he wasn't qualified."

Flare's mother had to admit, Flare was right. After thinking about his words for a moment, she smiled with relief as Marshall then entered the room and saw the two of them in there. "Hey, mom, can I read Flare's favorite bedtime story before he goes to bed? I wanna do it one last time before tomorrow."

Flare was surprised by the way Marshall worded that with their mother kissing Flare goodnight as she left the room, being as proud of Marshall as she could be as she embraced him when kneeling down to him. "Of course, sweetie. And I'm so proud of you for what you're going to do. I know you'll do a great job."

Marshall smiled upon hearing that as their mother left the room after they all said goodnight to each other. When Flare hopped into bed, he looked confused with Marshall sitting down on his bed as he asked him about what he said earlier. "Does that mean I can't come with you?"

Marshall flinched as he instantly took notice to Flare's disappointed voice. He hated letting his brother down more than almost everything out there, but he knew that the Paw Patrol life could be dangerous for him. He didn't have as much experience as Marshall, and the Paw Patrol rarely took in kids below ten. He felt bad for what he had to do, but he turned to Flare as he explained why. "I just don't want you to get hurt. Paw Patrol life is pretty dangerous at times and it's not for the ill-prepared. Heck, I barely managed to pass the acrobatics course I had to take."

Flare sighed, but then he started hatching a plan as he grabbed his teddy bear, not giving any hints to Marshall as he gave an understanding smile. Despite Flare's naivety, he could still play the genius card when need be. "I get it. At least you have one more time to read me about this world's fantasy creatures one more time." Marshall rubbed Flare's head as he then began reading with Flare looking at the audience as he clarified one thing for them. "The scene is running short, but don't worry; you'll hear the full story later."

Marshall was by the docks waiting for his boat ride while standing next to a disguised pup about Flare's size. Marshall could hardly contain his excitement, but was able to contain it enought as he spoke to his mother on the phone. "You sure you don't wanna see me off, mom? I'll be sure to keep in touch, but I don't know how often I'll get to visit." Marshall saw his boat ride and the barrier going down as he, which was shown to be keeping magic from entering he island, walked over to it with the disguised pup following him without him noticing. Marshall didn't pay much mind to it as he spoke to his mother. "Well okay then. I should get going. I love you, mom! Tell Margareth I love her too."

A cheerful smile dawned Marshall's face after he hung up. He wasn't excited to be leaving his loved ones, but he WAS excited to be a member of the Paw Patrol. The disguised pup followed him on board, but he was so excited that he didn't notice, boarding the boat and looking for his room. As the disguised figure followed him on the boat, he briefly took off the hoodie of the disguise and it was revealed to be Flare. The cheeky Dalmatian pup winked to the audience and put his hoodie back on to keep following Marshal unattended. And as the boat took off, the barrier went back up to keep the magic out.

Marshall was looking for his room as he then found the number that was on the card given to him, leaving an ecstatic Marshall to continue feeling great about where he'd be going. As he entered his room, Flare followed from behind him, waiting outside for a bit as Marshall was then shown happily sitting down on his bed as he thought happily about what his future held. 'Just think, Marshall. Very soon, you'll be joining the Paw Patrol. It's gonna be incredible.'

As Marshall started thinking about what was going down, Flare happily opened the door to his room, catching Marshall's attention and startling him as Flare spoke loudly. "Guess who snuck onto a boat to join you on your trip!"

"Flare!?" Marshall quickly got up but accidentally moved a little too quickly off the bed, slipping on the bed rim and rolling across the room. He landed on his stomach after sliding a bit with Flare helping him up as Marshall went into big brother mode. "Thanks. But you still shouldn't have come with me. At least without telling anyone else."

"I left mom and Margareth a note." Flare brought up, leaving Marshall to raise an eyebrow while crossing his arms, making Flare see that he didn't approve of what he did. So Flare knew he had to explain why he chose those methods. "I knew she would've stopped me if I told her. I just wanted to be there for your big day."

Marshall sighed with concern, but then put on a smile as he thought about how good this would be for Flare. He never saw anything beyond their hometown, and this could give him a better understanding of the real world. He still didn't approve of Flare's methods, but he knew that there was no turning back now, and that he had to be there for Flare so he could understand what he had to about the world. "I know you also did this to meet the Paw Patrol. And to see what was beyond Twin Flame Island. Just try to be careful."

Flare was relieved and happy to see that Marshall was on board with this now, hugging him as Marshall wrapped his arms around him. "Thanks, Marshall." Marshall knew this was a crazy idea, but he also knew that things could've been a lot worse.

Flare was looking out of the window from Marshall's room, excited to see what was beyond his hometown of Twin Flame Island. He'd always wanted to see what was beyond his hometown of Twin Flame Island, and this was his opportunity to do so. He didn't know everything he would see beyond his hometown, but he was ready for whatever appeared in front of him. He then saw something that amazed him. It was a dolphin, rising and diving as it rode alongside the boat. He knew they existed, but he'd never seen one so close before. And his amazed look said it all as he whispered to himself. "Wow."

The dolphin started swimming away with Flare then turning to Marshall, who was lying down on his bed as Flare jumped on and asked him a question. "Hey, Marshall! When we get to Adventure Bay, do you think the Paw Patrol would let me have a pet, or interact with any of the animal life in town?"

"The pet thing, maybe. The interacting with animal life thing, yeah." Flare's tail started wagging at the thought of getting to see Adventure Bay's life in all it's glory with Marshall taking notice as he laughed a bit and commented on Flare's actions. "Maybe your little mission will be a good thing after all." Marshall sat up and rubbed Flare's head with Flare being ecstatic for whatever Adventure Bay had in store for him.

The boat arrived at Adventure Bay with Flare and Marshall waiting by the entrance for the stairs to drop. Flare could hardly contain himself. As he and Marshall stood on their hind legs, he kept tapping them in a giddily with Marshall laughing as he noticed. 'It's almost as if he's more excited for this than I am.'

As soon as the steps down finished descending, Flare cheered with excitement "Wahoo!', as he ran down the stairs, alerting Marshall as Flare went down to the bottom and looked around excitedly. As he raised his fists, he announced his arrival as proudly as he possibly could. "Heeeeeey, Adventure Bay! Flare from Twin Flame Island is finally here!"

Marshall arrived at the bottom with everyone else having already taking notice to Flare as Marshall smiled while asking about Flare's announcement. "What's with all the yelling?"

"Just saying hi to Adventure Bay." Flare explained, and then he saw a glimpse of the buildings Adventure Bay had to offer, getting even more excited as he ran off. "This is so cool!"

Marshall became surprised when Flare ran off, attempting to catch up, "Flare; wait up!" only to trip over his own foot and land smack on his face, catching the attention of everyone who was watching after Flare's announcement. Marshall quickly got up however, and gave a cheerful look as he closed his eyes and smiled. "I'm okay!" He then went after Flare after opening his eyes, hoping he wouldn't get himself into trouble in a town they knew nothing about.

As Flare started exploring the town of Adventure Bay, he came across a restaurant that showed a little boy about his age sitting outside of it. Flare instantly took notice to the fact that the boy was playing with Paw Patrol figurines, running over to him with excitement and instantly noticing the ones he had. "Whoa; you have the Chase in combat figurine too!?" The boy had his attention caught by what Flare said with Flare taking his backpack off (I forgot to mention he has a backpack) and opening it up to reveal the same figurine. "Can yours switch between two legs and four legs too?"

"You bet it can!" The boy happily responded, excited to meet another Paw Patrol fan as Marshall then arrived at the scene. "Chase is definitely my favorite. He's so cool!"

Marshall took notice to the boy and didn't want to spoil the fun, but he also couldn't have Flare running off as he put a paw on his shoulder to let him know. "I'm glad you're already making friends here, Flare, but you can't just run off like that."

"Sorry, Marshall." Flare apologized with a bubbly smile on his face as he did it. He was clearly still excited about being in Adventure Bay. "I'm just so excited to be in a new place. So far it's not anything like Twin Flame Island."

"I know. That's why we have to stick together." Marshall informed Flare, and then he realized that he could use the kid for directions, being glad that Flare ran into him so soon. "Actually, we could use your help finding the Paw Patrol tower-" Marshall then realized that he hadn't gotten the kid's name yet. He didn't want to sound rude, since he didn't know if the kid hated being called specific words. This was something that he realized when Marshall struggled to finish his sentence. "Um..."

The boy stood up after putting his figurine away and happily told Marshall what he and Flare needed to hear. "Alex. And the tower is down (Points to his right) that way three blocks down. You can't miss the trail that leads to it."

"Awesome; thanks!" Flare grabbed Marshall's paw and ran off while pulling him along. "Goodbye Alex! Let's play sometime soon!"

"Bye Alex! Thanks for the help!" Marshall called out after he and Flare were a couple feet away with Alex waving goodbye to them.

"Goodbye!" Alex decided to go inside, feeling that whoever was inside could use his help, since he had family in there.

Flare and Marshall were running down the blocks of Adventure Bay as they got a look at some of the other places it had to offer. The first building they passed by was a veterinarian's office, which the two of them slowed down to look at. It was small, but a teenage girl was in there giving a shot to a woozy looking cat. Flare was a little frightened when he saw this, but he quickly brushed it off and continued running. When the two of them reached the next block, they came across an apartment complex, one that looked to be at least four stories high.

Flare had never seen a building so high before with Marshall explaining to him what it was when they stopped there. "This is an apartment complex. Their purpose is that they have a bunch of small, but still suitable, living enviornments for people to live in. Think of an apartment as a smaller version of a house with all the rooms needed for comfy living."

Flare found the idea of an apartment complex to be cool, but he also wasn't a big fan of where it was placed. "It's right next to that veterenarian's office. I feel bad for the pets who'll have to wake up every morning to that."

"Well some apartment complexes don't allow pets, so that could potentially be an avoided issue." Marshall assured Flare, who thought about what an apartment would have to offer for him and other people, based on what Marshall told him. "Plus if an animal really NEEDS the vet, the placement is awfully convenient."

"I guess. I just hope I don't have to get a shot anytime soon." Flare responded, making Marshall laugh a bit at Flare's indication of his fear of needles. Flare brushed this off quickly and was still as excited as could be about meeting the Paw Patrol, running off again with Marshall following behind him as he grabbed his paw. "Cmon, Marshall, we're almost there!" Flare and Marshall arrived at the block that Alex told them to go to, arriving at the entrance trail and stopping before looking at each other with smiles and nods. When the Dalmatian brothers were in sync, they ran along the trail to get to the Paw Patrol headquarters.

Flare and Marshall arrived at the end of the trail with both of them getting a good look at the Paw Patrol building and looking in awe at what it had in store for them. When the building was revealed, it had quite the tall exterior, being at least three stories high and even having a slide that went around the place. That instantly caught Flare's attention since, being a young child, he was understandably fascinated by stuff like this. "They have a slide too, Marshall! Imagine what's inside this place!"

Just then, Flare and Marshall heard a female voice from nearby that caught their attention "It's pretty much what you'd expect believe it or not.", and when the two of them looked to where they heard it from, they saw a female Husky who looked to be Flare's age, wearing a weapon belt and a blue baseball cap and smiling down at Flare and Marshall. Knowing that the two of them meant no harm, she jumped off the branch she was sitting on and slid down the tree, walking over to them as she introduced herself. "I'm Snow. (Holds her paw out) You must be the new recruits."

"Just my brother." Flare corrected Snow as he shook Snow's paw, and Marshall did the same as Flare happily introduced himself. "My name's Flare."

"And I'm Marshall." Marshall chimed in, being excited to be a member of the Paw Patrol. "I still can't believe I'm a member now. I wonder what my first assignment will be."

Snow got a good look at Marshall and saw that he was excited and nervous at the same time. She didn't think much of that, since most dogs would feel the same in his paws. She was a friendly pup, and knew not to judge someone before learning more about them first. But that didn't mean she couldn't have her suspicions. And she would be more than ready to kick your butt if she had to. She decided to let Marshall show if he had what he said he did in his application, just to see what he'd do. "Since you're a Dalmatian, you'll most likely be our fire pup. Our leader Ryder studied the jobs of all dog breeds and picked the perfect matches based on his research."

Marshall found the idea of being a fire pup to be fitting, and Flare got excited when he heard that. Snow instantly recognized this as he commented on the Paw Patrol. "So the Paw Patrol is a rescue team, right? Does that mean Marshall would participate in the life saving?"

Snow nodded her head yes happily, leaving Flare to hi five Marshall after the latter pumped his fist. Marshall wanted to be brave as could be, and he felt this was the perfect opportunity to do so. "That'll be great. What I need is a chance to jump into action to become the bravest, most efficient rescue dog I can."

"Well, you've come to the right place." Snow assured Marshall, being glad to see that he had pure intentions. She could tell he was genuine too, since she didn't detect any body language that depicted otherwise.

Flare thought about being a member of the Paw Patrol himself after realizing that he could help people here. And since Snow looked to be his age, and was a member, he felt he'd have a chance too. "Actually, it'd be awesome if I could join the team too. Both to help people in any way I can like Marshall, AND to have a chance at seeing new places." Snow was glad to meet two good hearted faces. She knew that the two of them would be good company, and that both were ready to help people, even if Flare wasn't a member. "Do you think I could join too?"

"It's possible." Snow assured Flare, knwoing that the chances of him joining were somewhat slim, but not out of the question. "I'm only seven and I managed to pull it off, so if you've got a good set of skills along with that big heart, you'll have a chance too."

Flare was ecstatic to hear that, only for another female voice to be heard calling down to them from the sky. "Comin' down!" The three pups looked up to find something that surprised Flare and Marshall with a pup in some sort of flight suit ended up crashing into Marshall after three pups attempted to jump out of the way. After tumbling for a bit, Marshall and the other pup crashed into the Paw Patrol building, which both quickly rebounded from. The pup who crashed into Marshall was shown to be a Cockapoo (A Cocker Spaniel and Poodle mix), and she apologized for the crash while giggling. "Sorry about that."

"That's okay. I've taken worse tumbles." Marshall assured the pup, and got a look at her flight suit when Flare and Snow went over to them. The flight suit was an instant indication to Marshall as to who the pup was. "I'm Marshall. You must be Skye, based on the wings."

"That's right!" Skye replied, being happy to meet the newest member. Skye, being age ten, was a quirky and giggly pup, but she was also loyal to a tee and was willing to do anything to save her friends and loved ones if need be. She also had a love for flying, hence why she was the Paw Patrol's helicopter pilot. "So you're our new member, huh? Nice to meet you!"

Marshall was glad to meet Skye as well with Flare dashing up to Skye and asking her a couple questions. "Two parter question. Who's your best friend on the team, and do you wanna be friends with us?"

"Snow, and sure." Skye responded, happily answering both of Flare's questions with Flare's tail wagging as Skye explained why she crashed. "I was trying to talk to some seagulls that were passing by me by speaking their language, but then one of them accidentally hit one of my wings and that's what led to me meeting you."

Skye giggled a bit with Snow rolling her eyes while smiling as she commented on one of Skye's many quirks. "Skye, we've been over this. You can't speak bird."

"YET Snow. I can't speak bird YET. But I'll learn how to. Someday." Skye insisted, leaving Snow to snicker a bit at her best friend's quirky nature, knowing that it wasn't going away anytime soon. Not that she minded anyway.

Two other members were inside in the living room, one of them a Chocolate Labrador, and the other a Mixed Terrier Breed. The Labrador was chilling on the couch and laid on his back as the Mixed Breed was working on some kind of new invention and discussed it with the Labrador, being quite proud of the progress he's made on it. "This is it, Zuma. With this, I'll be able to stop anyone who wears it from getting wet. Then I'll finally stop getting splashed when we go to the pool."

Zuma, a nine year old Chocolate Labrador, looked over to where the Mixed Breed was and saw that the device was a small earpiece, and the size of the invention made Zuma chuckle. He definitely wanted to know how something so small could block someone from ever getting wet. "Let me guess. You'll be able to walk on water and play Jesus with that thing."

The Mixed Breed thought for a moment about what Zuma said, despite Zuma obviously joking about that, just as Flare jumped onto the couch and startled the two of them. "You two must be Rocky and Zuma! My brother's joining today; it's so cool that he's gonna be working with you!" Rocky, a ten year old Mixed Terrier Breed, smiled upon seeing Flare's brightness shine in his body movements with Zuma being slightly annoyed, but still able to put on a smile, since he also found Flare's attitude to be kind of funny. "Is it true that you-"

"Whoa, whoa; slow down little dude." Zuma interrupted while laughing at the start, just in time for Marshall, Snow, and Skye to arrive. Zuma didn't wanna hurt the newbie's little brother before they had their first rescue, so he decided to let Flare know that him being excited was okay. "You can be as excited as you want, but save your cheewing for when Wyder gives your bwother his uniform. That's when the cheewing can begin."

Flare nodded his head yes excitedly and Marshall chuckled a bit as he commented on it. "It's almost as if YOU'RE joining alongside me as a surprise new member gift." Flare giggled a bit when Marshall said that with the Dalmatian then turning his attention to Rocky, hoping that Flare wasn't being a bother. "Sorry about my brother. He can be a little loud."

"Don't be. Heh heh. He's awesome." Rocky assured Marshall, and then he put the finishing touches on his invention, showing it to everyone as he explained what it did. "You're just in time. This is my new water protection earpiece! When I press this button;" Rocky pressed the button on this device, creating an invisible force around him as the vibration from activating was heard from the others as they all waited for Rocky to finish. "You can block any water from splashing on you until you press it again. Oh, and remember to deactivate it before you take it off."

Zuma jumped off the couch and decided to ask a question about Rocky's invention, just to see if it had any limitations. "So, if you wanted to kiss a dude, let's say, someone you liked, (Rocky blushes softly), would you be able to keep youwself from getting all slobbewy?"

Rocky blushed a little harder as he then started to have a gay panic about what Zuma asked him. Rocky was the clear intellectual of the group and was always happy to make inventions to help the team, or himself, but he did have his moments where he got exceptionally nervous around Zuma. "I guess it could. I never really thought about that, but it's not out of the question; maybe I'd even let them-I mean, if they wanted to, they could-" Rocky started blushing as hard as possible with some sweat shown to be evaporating almost instantly, surprising the others as Rocky then spoke loudly. "I gotta go!"

Rocky dashed off with Flare and Marshall being confused and Snow snickering a bit with Zuma giving a smug grin. Zuma was chill and laid back, but was also a bit cocky and usually wanted attention, due to being the least likely used for missions amongst his teammates. And he also didn't mind pranking them, or messing with them, making that clear as he looked at Marshall with his grin on. "Dude totally wants me." Flare and Marshall caught onto what Zuma just did, and also to why Rocky reacted the way he did to his question.

Flare was headed up the elevator with Marshall and Snow with Marshall thinking about his meeting Ryder would go. He hoped he would make a good first impression, as he wanted the team to know that he could trust him, despite his flaws. Something was always holding him back, and he wanted to make sure that he could stop that from holding him back here. Flare took notice to how Marshall was feeling as soon as he looked up at him, hugging his arm to comfort him. This seemed to work quite well, as Marshall simply smiled to Flare and rubbed his head with his free arm.

When the elevator arrived at the top, Chase and a teenage human were in front of the elevator. The teenager was obviously Ryder, age sixteen, and he sported a red jacket with blue jeans and has spiky brown hair. Ryder greeted Flare and Marshall instantly when they came up, wanting them both to feel welcome, even if only one of them was actually joining the team. "You two must be the brothers Chase told me about. I didn't think you'd both be coming."

"It was originally supposed to be me;" Marshall started, and then he noogied Flare a bit as he finished and made Flare laugh as he did. "until this little stowaway snuck onto my boatride." Marshall stopped noogying Flare and stepped forward with Marshall kneeling down to him as he talked about his standing on the team. "I hope I can make a good impact on the team. And I'll do everything I can to make that happen."

Ryder was glad to see that Marshall had the determination needed to make his position worth giving to him. Chase took a step forward, being glad to see that Marshall was ready to make himself worth having, and also hoped that he'd be a good friend to have here. "I think you've got a good shot based on your application. Let's hope you can show the skills you brought up in it. And I'll even help you overcome the flaws you mentioned."

"Thanks, Chase. I won't let you guys down." Marshall assured Chase, and then Ryder gave him a key, which he wondered what it was for. "What's the key for?"

"Your new room. I think you're aware of how members who move to Adventure Bay to join the team live at the lookout." Marshall gave a look of realization as he then laughed a bit, wondering how he could've forgotten that. "Your room will be the one with the firefighter badge on it. And there's two beds in each room, so you and your brother can share it. We'll have you officially join tomorrow when we give you your official Paw Patrol outfit."

Flare started to get excited for Marshall again with Snow taking notice as the Dalmatian's tail wagged again, and Chase then let Marshall in on a little something about himself to help him feel better about his flaws. "Also, don't think I'm a Gary Stu or anything like that. I actually have a habit of being really gassy." Chase then let out a quick, but noticable on cue burp as a green cloud came from it, which Marshall wafted away as Chase proudly grinned. "And your flaws can also be used as an assist if you know when to use them."

Marshall was glad to hear that, deciding to find where he could use his clumsiness to benefit him in the long run. Flare then noticed a young teen with white hair, white shorts, a red shirt, and a blue jacket watching him, and he asked Snow about him just in case, since he gave off a bit of an edgy presence. "Who's the dude with the white hair?"

"That's Richie. He's the only human member besides Ryder. Well, half human." Snow explained, and Flare wondered what the second half was, hoping that him asking wouldn't come off as rude.

Flare and Marshall were walking down the hallway as they got a look at all of the rooms that were given to the Paw Patrol members. They saw that every room had a specific indicator as to who was there. Cop for Chase, eco for Rocky, water rescues for Zuma, and air rescues for Skye. Flare couldn't quite make out Snow's door sign however, as while he was looking at them all excitedly, her's seemed a bit confusing until Marshall pointed it out. "I think her's is a different kind of cop compared to Chase's."

Flare felt that made sense as he and Marshall found Marshall's room. When Marshall unlocked it, he opened the door and Flare ran inside, finding that the room had bunk beds, much to his amazement. "This place has bunk beds!?" Flare ran over to the bunk beds and climbed up to the top bunk after setting his backpack down with Marshall setting his stuff down too as he walked over to him. "Can I have the top bunk, Marshall? Please, please, pleeeease?"

Marshall laughed a bit and rubbed Flare's head as he climbed up to him, assuring him that the top bunk was his. "Go ahead. It makes more sense for the younger brother to have it anyway."

"Yay! (Hugs Marshall) Thank you!" Flare and Marshall were both glad that Marshall had successfully joined the Paw Patrol, and as the two of them embraced each other, a silent drone was shown outside their window as it flew off after taking a picture.

Skye was flying around again when she saw the drone, taking a picture with her phone after taking it out and flying over to the lookout to tell Ryder. Luckily, he was leaning on the balcony as Skye flew over to it, leading to Skye showing him the photo. "Hey Ryder? (Looks at the photo) I think I saw one of Charm's drones flying away from the lookout." Ryder nodded in understanding and was ready for whatever this 'Charm' had up his sleeve for the Paw Patrol with a determined look on his face. He wasn't about to let anyone on his team get hurt, especially with a new member officially joining tomorrow.

To be continued.

Rock music played as Flare started talking about what was going to happen in the next part as certain moments from the next episode were shown playing. "Marshall's actually a member of the Paw Patrol! I couldn't be any prouder of him if I tried! Wow, his first mission already? They're really putting him to work! Wait. Is that apartment complex on fire? Holy crap; I hope everyone's okay!"

Marshall was then heard as he called Flare out on his mild swearing. "Flare, don't swear."

"Sorry!"

Chase then asked what Flare was doing there. "Also, how did you get here?"

"Oh, I accidentally went down the slide when Marshall tripped, but that's not important right now. We gotta save those people!" Flare then finished the announcement as the title of the chapter was shown in all white with Flare on one end, and Marshall on the other. "Next time, A New Beginning, Part Two!" Flare was shown running up a ladder in the last clip, catching everyone else noticing. "I can't just stand by and watch! Member or not!"
