Hey Naruto-Fans from the Internet. Glad you're stepping by. This story is supposed to be a Prequel to the events of the very first Naruto movie "Ninja Clash in the Land of Snow". The main characters of the story are Kakashi Hatake (a well known character who we all love) and Fubuki Kakuyoku (the Kunoichi of the Yuki-Ninjas). The movie plot is very vague on the events which took place in the past which led to the situation in the movie so we'll have much to discover. In other words: I do have a lot of narrative freedom but I will stay as true and loyal to the information and the hints given in the movie as possible.

Hope you enjoy! If so, please leave a like and a comment.

Kakuyoku - Snowstorm

Prologue: Ninja Clash in the Land of Snow

„Welcome friends... to the Land of Snow!"

The Land of Snow. A country far in the North. A cold land of ice and winter. Kakashi Hatake – an infamous Jonin from Konoha and the Sensei of Team 7 – didn't expect that he would return to this inhospitable place – ever again. Not after what happened here.

„Greetings, Princess Koyuki! I do hope you still carrying around the Hex Crystal!"

Kakashi's eyes widen. He looks at the leading actress of the film who is supposed to play the role of the Princess in the movie. The island of ice they are currently on is perfect for the scene. The film crew couldn't help but to stop here. But the perfect filming location turned out to be an icy trap.

"PRINCESS KOYUKI?!"

10 years earlier...

Kakashi stood in front of the office of Konoha's leader, the Hokage - in full Anbu armour. The Ninja, who always kept his face covered, hesitated. The back of his hand was almost touching the door to knock when something caught his attention. He looked outside; the first snow was falling on the roofs of the village. It was winter.

"Come in!"

Kakashi looked surprised. Although his hand had not touched the wooden door yet, the third Hokage, Hiruzen Sarutobi, seemed to have already noticed his presence. He opened the door. The Hokage stood with his back to him as he looked out through a large window.

"Isn't it beautiful? The first snowfall of winter. Gently it lays itself over the land, like a mother cradles her child to sleep."

Kakashi listened attentively to the old man's words. He closes the door behind him slowly, while his gaze wanders outside again.

"But the child wakes up again, and life shines."

Hiruzen turned around. He allowed himself another puff from his pipe. He looked at the masked Shinobi with the crooked haircut. It lacked only shades so that his hair would have been as white as the snow that fell from the cloudy sky that day.

"You sent for me, Hokage."

The Hokage nodded. Kakashi stepped closer to him.

"Do you know, Kakashi, what else distinguishes winter, except for the clear, white blanket it draws over the world?"

Kakashi deliberately did not answer. Not because of ignorance. His silence was more an expression of awe and respect the Anbu hold for the Hokage.

"Winter heralds spring."

Kakashi continued to remain silent.

"A message has just reached me. From Sōsetsu. Sōsetsu Kazahana."

Kakashi's eyebrows drew together, as if he needed to think for a moment who the Hokage was talking about.

"The feudal lord from the Land of Snow?"

The Hokage nodded again.

"Yes. He is an old friend of mine. He told me that the Land of Snow is plagued by unrest for some time. Sōsetsu also claimed in his letter that the likelihood of a rebellion was low, but I fear for him."

The Hokage took a few steps towards Kakashi.

"He is a kind-hearted man. A visionary. But he also has a naive, gullible side. I want you to make your way to him."

Kakashi nodded.

"What else do I have to expect?"

Fubuki Kakuyoku stood in front of a group of Shinobi lined up in front of her. They all wore the clothes of the Shinobi of Yukigakure - the Hidden Snow Village. Their faces were masked. They were equipped and ready for battle. A fight that would permanently change the future of this frosty land.

"We're Ninjas of the Snow! Nothing can bring us down!"

The Kunoichi's pink hair was almost completely hidden by the light gray cap she had on. Only two braids were visible, sticking out of two holes at the top. The dark and gloomy surroundings made sure that her striking green eyes stood out. The proud woman let her gaze slowly slide over the gathered crowd as she crossed her arms in front of her breasts.

"For far too long we walked in the shadows of the Five Great Shinobi Nations. For far too long we have been ignored."

Behind her, two figures emerged from the shadows. Two Shinobi who wore armor similar to her own. Both of them stood behind her.

"But no more of that!"
