Shouts out to Lucian Naruto for giving season 1 its first review! I appreciate all your commentary. I haven't been given much feedback on the story except from like one person. I was really focused on writing the finale yesterday so I didn't mention it then. To respond to your last review: Yes, season 1 was setting up the relationship. I want to build upon it over the series. 7Ds is going to be very long.

Chapter 1 Invasion of Chaos

The large buildings of the Unclean One's country stood unbroken with people walking the streets. The sealing which carried Mikado wasn't there and the sun shown on the land. The one watching felt strange. A world like that was like a dream to him.

"If only Tokyo could be that nice…", the person thought.

"Akira.", a familiar voice said.

"My name's not Akira.", The person addressed replied.

The person who was being addressed didn't seem to recognize it though. But, something about it drew his attention. He felt like he really should know who the owner of that voice is.

"I want to protect them all…no matter the cost. If that time comes…", the familiar voice said.

The city faded away giving way to a cloudy scape.

"No matter how many times you would be forced to die and reincarnate?", a different voice asked.

"The fuck…?", the person addressed as Akira questioned.

"Humanity won't be saved by the spirits…", the voice said as a familiar figure materialized in front of him.

The figure had his back turned to him. He was wearing armor reminiscent of the Black Samurai. He seemed to have a very familiar black ponytail. Behind him was the moon which appeared to emit a blue light.

"What is that behind him?!", the person addressed as Akira questioned.

"Let's go, Akira…", the armored man said as he slowly turned around to face him.

He held out his hands towards him. The man's face and most of his body was engulfed in shadow. Suddenly it all faded away as he woke up. It all seemed to be a dream.

In reality a teen with brown half shaved hair woke up. He had brown eyes and wore a green jumpsuit. His jumpsuit had white words on them saying 'NO WAR' in English. He had various badges on it and had knee pads on his legs. His pants were uneven, the left side was pulled up more revealing an orange sock. He had grey shoes and a red earring on his left ear.

He was currently in bed. He looked over to his side table grabbing a small green deck box. His cards had cameo sleeves with a white circle outlined with black. In the circle was a green spray painted looking H.

"What was with that weird ass dream?", the rebellious looking teen thought.

He went out of his room and was instantly met with a hyperactive girl. She had long black hair and darkly colored eyes. She wore some sort of blue jacket dress. She had a strange white hat with straps. Over her hat she wore goggles and she also wore a white belt. She has on white gloves and red earrings on each ear. She wore blue boots and grey arm warmers.

"Nanashi! Let's duel!", the hyperactive girl said, holding a deck with the same sleeves in front of his face.

They were currently in some sort of corridor with multiple rooms.

"Isn't training not till later, Asahi?", the rebellious looking teen, Nanashi replied.

"This one is different! It's for fun!", the hyperactive girl, Asahi replied.

Nanashi sighed with exasperation at this.

"Well, it's not like I have anything better to do. Manabu hasn't found any new manga.", Nanashi thought.

"Alright…", Nanashi replied in a reluctant sounding tone which made Asahi puff her cheeks angrily.

"You don't sound too excited about it.", Asahi replied.

"Well…Asahi to be fair I've dueled you over a 1000 times!", Nanashi replied.

"So?", Asahi replied as Nanashi sighed again.

"Let's go.", Nanashi said, leading her to the table in one of the rooms.

The room had an old worn dueling mat. They raised up their hands to do Rock Paper Scissors. Nanashi chose rock and Asahi chose scissors.

"It looks like I am going first.", Asahi said, happily.

Nanashi looked at his hand wondering how he could have lost that. He just shrugged it off.

"All that for 100 damage?", Nanashi questioned.

"Now, we're even! I attack your facedown monster with Dancing Fairy!", Asahi declared.

"I see you haven't set any traps. I thought Nikkari told you to put more in your deck. ", Nanashi pointed out and Asahi sweat dropped.

"I did! I put like five!", Asahi said as she pointed at her deck which looked much bigger than Nanashi's.

"But you won't draw what you need when you have 60 cards in your deck, Asahi. Remember the lesson.", Nanashi reminded as he pointed his fingers to his head.

Asahi puffed her cheeks at this.

"But there's so many cards I like. I can't decide.", Asahi replied.

"You'll have to if you want a consistent deck. I tribute Totem Dragon to summon Odd-Eyes Dragon.", Nanashi replied.

It had two different colored eyes one was red and the other green. It had what looked like a beak which had a row of sharp teeth.

Asahi gave him a funny look when he summoned the monster.

"I'm not doing some cringe chant or attack name.", Nanashi replied.

"It would be so cool though! You're always such a stick in the mud!", Asahi replied.

"I attack your Dancing Fairy with Odd-Eyes.", Nanashi declared, very mildly.

Asahi LP 3100 - 800 = 2300

"Then you take the extra damage.", Nanashi added as Asahi whined.

Asahi LP 3100 - (1700/2) = 2250

Asahi LP 2250 - (6 x 200) = 1050

"What's the point of defense mode? I can't escape getting damaged from you?", Asahi questioned.

"You're getting damaged by specific effects. You wouldn't still be taking damage otherwise.", Nanashi explained.

Asahi pouted, still annoyed that she was still taking damage.

"I attack your facedown monster with Odd-Eyes. Then you take damage again.", Nanashi declared.

The monster was Fairy's Gift.

"I attack your monster with Odd-Eyes. You lose.", Nanashi declared.

Asahi LP 350 - (1500/2) = 0

"Wah! I'm going to edit my deck!", Asahi said.

Later…

They sat down on the floor looking over Asahi's cards. He tried to help her cut down her deck as much as possible, but it was like talking to a brick wall. Asahi put her hands under her chin. She groaned with boredom.

"Don't you wish something exciting would happen?", Asahi asked.

"If that were to happen people would get hurt.", Nanashi replied, blandly, which made Asahi gave him a look.

"Not like that, Nanashi. You can be way too morbid sometimes. I meant like an adventure or maybe a performance.", Asahi replied.

"I suppose that would be interesting.", Nanashi replied.

"Maybe one day when we're Hunters we'll even see a real synchro monster!", Asahi said, excitedly.

They were surprised when a man with black hair in a bartender outfit came bursting in.

"Boss?/Dad?", Nanashi and Asahi questioned.

"You guys have to go with Nikkari now!", Boss replied, opening the door and motioning for them to leave.

They noticed Boss' panic which freaked them out. The two have never seen him look so frightened before.

"What's going on, Dad?", Asahi questioned as they followed him out.

The halls were flooded with people running out.

"The angels are attacking! Nikkari, here they are!", Boss said as a man in black armor ran up.

Nikkari looked middle aged and had a black drench coat over his armor. He had short greying hair and brown eyes. On his forehead was a scar and he had a duel disk on his arm.

"Come on, you two! Hurry!", Nikkari said.

"What about you, Dad? Who are you going with?", Asahi asked.

"I'll catch up with you! The women and children are of higher priority!", Boss replied.

"Let's go, Asahi!", Nanashi said, grabbing her arm and pulling her along.

She looked back at her father worriedly.

"He didn't even correct me that time. He's really serious.", Asahi thought.

Mystic relics similar to the one the men earlier rode were pushed out by a tan man. He had brown dreadlocks and brown eyes along with a light beard. He wore a dark brown sweater with rainbow words that said 'SOUL VIBES' in English. He had a bandage on his cheek and carried a bag.

"Let's go, kiddos!", the man said as he got on one of the mystic relics.

They got on the back of the mystic relic with Nikkari. Some children got on the back of the other man's.

"Hold on tightly kids!", Nikkari told them and they did as he said.

They rode out of what seemed to be an underground area. The teens looked around while they rode on the mystic relic. Asahi gasped in horror and Nanashi turned to look at what she saw. His eyes widened and his mouth was agape as a massive monster towered over the buildings. The monster's body seemed to be an earthly castle with arms, legs and a head. It had red glowing eyes that looked down at them as it looked from behind the building. The younger kids started crying and people ran faster. Some were on mystic relics with others.

"Nanashi…", Asahi said, sounding frightened.

"W-what the hell is going on?!", Nanashi questioned.

Those on mystic relics moved much faster. A makeshift bridge using a mechanical spirit who carried it was lowered by some men in suits. Nikkari gritted his teeth and rode across the bridge to the other side of the river.

Asahi gasped in horror when the massive monster stepped on the underground place they came out of. She was shaking as fear and worry welled you inside her.

"Dad!", she called out.

"It's going to be okay. Turn this way, Asahi!", Nanashi said, gesturing to her to turn around.

Tears fell from her cheeks which were flushed.

"He got out okay!", Nanashi told her, shaken himself.

"You don't know that!", Asahi replied.

"S-shit! I didn't think those angels were ever going to come back!", the man with dreadlocks said.

"It was bound to happen eventually! We let our guard down because they left us alone for 25 years!", Nikkari replied.

The giant stepped directly on a crowd of fleeing people and the other district. It kicked one of the buildings. They kept riding, practically shitting themselves as the building flew across the river.

"You've gotta be shitting me!", Nanashi cursed, wide eyed.

"W-we are going to fucking die…", the man with dreadlocks said.

It caused an earthquake making them lose control of the mystic relics they were riding. Nikkari and the man with dreadlocks sweated intensely just barely regaining control. Most weren't so lucky and crashed into buildings or spirits harshly. The crash created a massive dust cloud near the impact. The drivers pushed their mystic relics as fast as they could go.

However, things were far from over. There was another massive monster that erupted from the ground causing a countless other riders to sink. It was a massive purple centipede. It had protrusions on its back that shot out purple mist. It had six red eyes and horns on the sides of its head. It hisses loudly causing a trembling just from its voice.

"Hey, asshole!", a feminine voice called out.

They were surprised when a mechanical spirit punched the centipede. It had no legs, just a very long tail. It had a bunch of yellow spikes on its body.

They saw a woman on a red mystic relic drive past. She had long blonde hair and greenish-brown eyes. She had a strange black mystic relic with a lens around her neck. She wore a red riding suit and black boots. Her duel disk was attached to the mystic relic she rode.

"Shit…", she cursed, when it got up despite all the blows the spirit landed on it.

She rode up to them and they looked at her.

"We have to go while he distracts it!", the blonde woman said.

"Thank you. Is that yours?", Nikkari asked.

"He's a spirit I know.", the blonde woman replied.

They continued riding focused on escaping from the massive spirits. As if things couldn't possibly get worse another one appeared with copies of the others. The new one was a red dragon with black markings. It had four gold eyes and curled around a massive fiery orb. It was an army of massive monsters. Thankfully for them spirits swarmed the massive ones not liking the invasion.

"It's times like this I really wish I still had real solid vision!", Nikkari thought.

The dragon launched the massive orb annihilating a place north of them.

"Was that Ikebukuro?!", the blonde woman questioned, paling,

On the massive dragon rode an entire army of people in purple uniforms. They jumped off of the dragon riding down on their own spirits. Those spirits attacked fleeing people. Some more people appeared in resistance to the invaders. They were a group of people with orange robes who transformed themselves into spirits not unlike the ritual users. As an invader riding on a spirit neared them they saw a red blur whip them away.

It appeared to be Odd-Eyes Dragon who ran beside them.

"Odd-Eyes!", Asahi called out.

"What's going on?!", the dragon spirit questioned.

"A-Angels are attacking!", Nikkari replied.

"We need your help!", Nanashi said.

"They don't look like any angels I've seen. But, they do seem very mean...", Odd-Eyes replied, sounding angry.

The dragon knocked away another invader. When a group of them gave chase Odd-Eyes breathed rainbow colored flames. It was the most beautiful flames however…it was still fire. Real fire. The invaders screamed when they were enveloped by the flames. They looked a bit nervous seeing this.

"He acts like such an oaf I always forget he's a dangerous spirit…", Nanashi thought.

More people and spirits appeared to combat the invaders. Odd-Eyes winced when it was yanked back by a rope-like weapon. The monster reeling him back was Goyo Guardian. On the back of the monster was one of the invaders, a crown Samurai.

"Odd-Eyes!", they called out.

Nanashi reached out for Odd-Eyes. He didn't like seeing the dragon in such pain. The rope was around Odd-Eyes neck as Goyo Guardian pulled him away.

"No!", Nanashi said.

"My guy is busy with that other spirit. I don't have another one.", the blonde woman said.

"We don't have real solid vision…We just know Odd-Eyes.", the man with dreadlocks said.

They paled as Goyo Guardian swung Odd-Eyes around before trying to use him as a living wrecking ball against them. Just the force of the air created from the swinging knocked them off the mystic relics. The adults shielded the teens and kids. Suddenly, a ghastly roar pierced through the air.

"What do you think your doing?!", Nanashi's eyes widened as he heard the voice of the man from his dreams.

Another spirit knocked Goyo Guardian over. The crown Samurai was knocked off the spirit. They struggled up injured from getting knocked back. There was two people on top of the spirit with a similar uniform to the crown Samurai which made them wary. However, they noticed his uniform wasn't purple, instead it was blue. The uniform of the other one was black. The spirit the men were riding on was…Doomkaiser who snarled at Goyo Guardian before breathing purple flames that enveloped the creature. The monster struggled trying to get up, however Odd-Eyes got up first, joining Doomkaiser. Their combined fire breaths annihilated Goyo Guardian.

More spirits appeared with people on them that fought the crown Samurai. The spirits were Dark Gaia, Ancient Sacred Wyvern, Gottoms, and White-Horned Dragon. The last one didn't have a rider.

"Samurai, what are you doing?", the crown Samurai questioned as he got up.

Nanashi looked up seeing the Samurai had a very familiar hairstyle. His back was currently turned to them. The Samurai was looking down at the crown Samurai from on top of Doomkaiser. He was glaring daggers at the crown Samurai.

"What are you doing?! Why are you guys attacking all these people? We're supposed to find the fugitives!", the Samurai replied, angrily snapping at the crown Samurai.

"They're arguing…?", Nikkari questioned.

"That guy has the same uniform as them. It's just a different color. They're with them…", the man with dreadlocks said darkly as he got up glaring at the Samurai.

"Wait!", Nanashi called out as Nikkari grabbed a piece of broken glass.

"That is 'your' mission prentice. Ours is to annihilate the Unclean One's and plunder all of their mystic relics.", the crown Samurai replied.

"There's no way his majesty would order something so vile! Even if they are Unclean Ones that's far too cruel!", the prentice Samurai replied, pointing at the crown Samurai.

They felt weird and insulted being referred to in such a way.

"The kid is right. It seems like those two are on our side.", the blonde woman said.

"It is the king's will.", the crown Samurai replied as he raised his duel disk.

On it appeared the official wearing his patented fake smile.

"I recommend you look away from this and continue your mission, Lord Flynn.", the official said.

To be continued…
