DRAGON BALL

OPENING THEME: CHA LA HEAD CHA LA (Dragon Ball Z)

A bright yellow sun hung in a bright blue sky over West City, granting a perfect day for those gathered at the headquarters of Capsule Corporation. Two years ago on this very day, the terrible Majin Buu had sewn havoc and death over the entire Earth and would have certainly devastated the entire universe had it not been for the combined efforts of Earth's heroes.

Those heroes now sat at tables piled high with succulent meats, rice and pasta dishes, delicious cakes, and all manner of other delectable dishes, devouring their way through plate after plate in celebration of Buu's defeat, leaving an army of caterers struggling to keep up. An ironic fact, given that sitting at the end of one table, watching gleefully as a small dog happily ate some meat, was the original Majin Buu, sitting at the same table as the hero who had defeated his evil counterpart, the Saiyan warrior, Son Goku.

The entire Dragon Team and their families and friends had all gathered for the festivities being hosted by their friend Bulma. One table's entire supply of food was barely keeping up with the ferocious appetites of Saiyans Goku and Vegeta and their half-Saiyan children, Gohan, Goten, and Trunks. Goku and Gohan's wives, Chi Chi and Videl, spoke cheerfully with party host, Bulma, as many of their friends squared off in various party games. The Namekian warrior, Piccolo, sat under the shade of a tree, meditating peacefully despite the noise. Suddenly, his eyes shot open as he looked skyward. Everyone else soon realized why as a shooting star cut through the blue sky over West City before crashing with a loud boom, somewhere outside the city.

"Was that a meteor?" Bulma asked aloud.

"That was no meteor," Vegeta growled in response.

"I could sense energy coming from it. There was definitely someone in there," Gohan revealed.

"So it's a spaceship then?" Bulma realized, "great. I hope it isn't more trouble." Goku and Vegeta both took flight towards the crash site, prompting a sigh from Bulma as Gohan, Goten, Trunks, and Piccolo followed close behind.

Goku was the first to touch down in the crater next to the small, white, spherical pod embedded in it, closely followed by Vegeta.

"Huh? I think I've seen a ship like this before!" Goku realized, looking it over.

"It's a Saiyan pod, like the one I came to Earth in," Vegeta reminded him, "but who would…"

He was interrupted as the space pod began to open! Inside, crammed into a small seat was a young girl, no older then twelve, with long, blue hair who was dressed in a dark blue body suit. She was out cold, but they could see she was breathing.

"A child?" Vegeta wondered aloud, "what is going on here?"

NARUTO

OPENING THEME: HERO'S COMEBACK (Naruto Shippuden)

The Village Hidden in the Leaves, Konoha, was enjoying a rare bit of peace, as well as a beautiful day. One that made it feel all the more criminal to the Fifth Hokage, Lady Tsunade, that she was stuck in her office, dealing with paper work.

As the current Hokage grumbled in her office, the young man who aspired to be the future Hokage was hard at work, training with the rest of Team 7. While their teacher, Kakashi Hatake carefully monitored the exercises, despite having his nose stuck in his favorite book, Sai and Sakura Haruno waited on stand-by as their squad mate, Naruto Uzumaki was put through intense training by Captain Yamato.

During the recent battle with two members of the dangerous rogue shining group, the Akatsuki, Naruto had displayed a powerful new jutsu, and the results could only be described as disastrous.

The powerful Rasen-Shuriken, an upgraded version of the Rasengan, had devastated the Akatsuki member, Kakuzu, but had proven to have immense kickback, shattering the users arm and shredding his chakra network. As powerful as the jutsu was, the drawbacks made it all but unusable, so as soon as Naruto was able, training had begun to make the technique more usable.

This was easier said then done, however, and even the experienced Kakashi had no idea how they were going to pull it off.

This training, unfortunately, would quickly be cut short as an explosion rocked the training shinobi, bringing about an abrupt end as the five all leapt to the treetops to see what had happened. Smoke was rising from a clearing near the training ground.

"Naruto, wait!" Kakashi shouted uselessly as the knucklehead ninja took off towards the smoke. Deciding there was no point, protesting, Kakashi quickly followed his student.

As Naruto and Kakashi reached the crater, they were met by fellow Leaf shinobi, Might Guy and his crew.

"You're late. Guess I win this one, Kakashi," Guy boasted in his usual joyous tone. He grew serious as Naruto and Kakashi looked into the crater at the white, spherical craft. "It just fell out of the sky. No idea what it…"

Guy's explanation was interrupted when the front of the craft slowly opened. As the shinobi watched as a beautiful young woman with long green hair staggered from the craft, wearing the remnants of what had once been a green body suit. She staggered forward a few steps before her strength failed her and she collapsed. Reacting quickly, Naruto managed to drop into the pit and catch her before she hit the ground. He studied her face as he laid her gently on the ground.

"Who… is she?" he wondered aloud as more shinobi arrived on the scene.

ONE PIECE

OPENING THEME: WE ARE (One Piece)

Night hung over the calm waters of the Grand Line like a blanket, the darkness pierced by only the soft, white light of a full moon. Sitting on the sea, rolling on the gentle waves, the Thousand Sunny waited patiently for the return of daylight.

On it's bow stood a lone figure dragging a bow across the string of a violin to produce a beautiful melody that filled the quiet night with gentle song.

"Yohohoho Yohoyoho

Yohohoho Yohoyoho…" sang the singing skeleton of the Straw Hat Pirates, Brook, as he played his gentle tune.

In her room, the crew navigator Nami sat at her desk, listening to the tune as she looked over a map of the surrounding seas. The rest of the crew would be sleeping peacefully by now, but it was Nami's task to figure out the route they would take to their next destination, though she was slowly drifting off herself. Suddenly, a blinding light could be seen through her window. Rushing to the window to look outside, she saw a falling star falling through the air.

"What is…" she began to ask as the 'star' crashed into the sea near their ship! To Nami's surprise, instead of sinking to the bottom of the sea, never to be seen again, the object bobbed on the surface, rolling gently along the waves beside them!

Within a few minutes, Nami had awakened the rest of the crew and they were all on deck, looking overboard at the floating object. It was a large, white sphere shaped ship that floated alongside the Thousand Sunny.

"Whoa! It looks like some kind of spaceship! Let's get it on board!" Luffy shouted excitedly.

"Are you crazy, we have no idea…" Nami's protests were pointless as Luffy planted his feet into the deck and stretched his arms down, grabbing the ship. His arms rocketed into the air, flinging the ship up and onto the deck of the Sunny.

"Well, we got it on board," Franky stated, looking over the ship, "but what do we do with it now?"

"We open it up and see if we found an alien!" Luffy replied mater-of-factly, "Franky, help me get it open!"

No one got a chance to try to force the ship to open as the front hatch began to slowly open of its own accord. Luffy could feel his excitement build and then deflate. Instead of a cool alien, inside the ship was an unconscious young woman with long, golden hair dressed in a tight, sleeveless yellow leotard.

"Awww, it's just some girl. That sucks, I was hoping it's be some kind of awesome alien!" He fumed.

BLEACH

OPENING THEME: ASTERISK (Bleach)

It was a dark and stormy night in Karakura Town that found Soul Reaper, Rukia Kuchiki, sitting on top of a building, shielding herself from the wind and rain using the sleeve of her uniform.

"I don't think even Hollows are out in this weather," a voice groaned behind her. She looked back behind her to see Karakura Town's Substitute Soul Reaper, Ichigo Kurosaki, walking towards her, his Zanpakuto, Zangetsu, resting on his shoulder. "I'm not findin' anything. Let's call it a night."

"We might as well. I guess it must have been a false alarm," Rukia admitted as Ichigo sneezed violently.

"Damn it, can a Soul Reaper catch a cold?" he groaned as the two walked towards the edge of the rooftop.

"What's that?" Rukia asked as a loud, crashing sound drew their attention up to the sky.

"Probably just thunder," Ichigo sighed, "come on, let's…" Another crash silenced him as a ball of fire crashed through the cloud and slammed into a nearby park, luckily missing hitting any buildings on its way down.

"What the hell was that?" Ichigo cursed.

"We'd better go find out," Rukia suggested as the two jumped off of the building top.

Smoke was rising from a crater that had once been a swing set as Ichigo and Rukia landed next to it. Looking down into the hole, they saw a white, spherical object sitting at the bottom of the crater.

"Is that… a spaceship?" Ichigo asked in confusion, jumping into the crater and looking over the ship. "Maybe a satellite? Whatever it is, we're lucky no one got hurt. If this thing had hit a building, it would have been really bad."

"There's not much we can do here, Ichigo," Rukia reminded him, "we may as well…"

Just then, the front of the pod began to lift open, surprising the two Soul Reapers. As they watched, and hand reached out of pod, grabbing the edge, and a young, red headed woman wearing a short red tank top and a pair of red shorts.

The woman looked at Rukia and Ichigo and tried to speak, but her strength failed her and she collapsed into the crater and lost consciousness. Rukia jumped down and landed beside her.

"She's alive, but she's very weak," Rukia admitted.

"Let's get her to Orihime's!" Ichigo ordered, "we can figure out what's going on after we get her some help!

YU-GI-OH!

OPENING THEME: YOUR MOVE (Yu-Gi-Oh!)

Nightfall found Yugi Muto sitting at his desk, still dressed in his school uniform. His deck of duel monster cards had been laid out in front of him as he tweaked and reworked his card composition, as his Millennium Puzzle hung by its chain off a chair next to him.

"Alright, I think that should do the trick. Never hurts to be ready for anything," he sighed as he regathered his rebuilt deck and stored it into his deck carrier, beside his duel disc.

As if it had been waiting for him to say that, as soon as he did, a loud crash was heard from outside his grandfathers card shop, as if something were exploding!

"What was that?" Yugi exclaimed, jumping to his feet.

"That may well be the 'anything' we needed to be ready for," a voice replied from within the Millenium Puzzle. Slipping the chain of the puzzle back over his neck and fastening his deck and duel disc to his belt, Yugi took off out into the street.

To his surprise, as he approached a smoking crater in the middle of Domino City Park, he discovered he was the only one at the scene!

"Did no one else hear that explosion? How is that possible?" he wondered aloud.

"Be careful Yugi," the voice from the puzzle warned, "there's something very wrong about this."

Soon he reached the edge of the crater and peered down into it. His eyes widened with shock at the sight of a smooth, white sphere nestled at the bottom of the crater!

"Is that… some kind of space ship?" he asked, squinting to get a better look at the object through the darkness.

"It would appear so," the voice from the puzzle replied, "we should get a closer look, but be careful, Yugi. We don't know what might await us inside."

Yugi nodded, then, gathering his courage, slid down into the hole. As he neared the ship, he noticed there was no heat coming off of the surface. It was cool to the touch when he placed his hand on it, despite having assumedly fallen from orbit.

Suddenly, the front of the craft began to lift open and Yugi maneuvered around to get a look inside. His eyes widened with astonishment at what he saw.

A young woman with pink hair clad in a pink body suit lay unconscious within the ship, a duel disc strapped to her arm and a deck case sitting next to her, opened to reveal a deck of Duel Monster cards!

"She's a duelist," the voice from the puzzle stated, "but… where did she come from?"

ROSARIO+VAMPIRE

OPENING THEME: DISCOTHEQUE (Rosario+Vampire)

The sun shone brightly in the afternoon sky, but it did very little to provide much warmth to the snow covered mountains that the Yokai Academy Newspaper Club had traveled to for their vacation. Fortunately for them, the ski lodge they had rented provided all the warmth they needed as vampire Moka Akashiya and ordinary human Tsukune Aono lounged by a warm fire.

The other members of the Newspaper Club hadn't returned yet from the slopes, so the two had some alone time to enjoy, but the warmth of the fire was having a draining effect on Tsukune, causing him to drift in and out of sleep.

"You must be really tired out, Tsukune," Moka's gentle voice caused him to straighten up in his seat.

"N…no, I'm… fine," he replied through a long, tired yawn, "just… resting my eyes is all."

"I see," Moka replied teasingly, "well, while you're resting your eyes, why don't I make some Hot Cocoa for us?" she suggested, rising to her feet. Before Tsukune could respond, the door flung open.

"Hey! Let go!" a girl's voice shouted angrily.

"Not a chance," a familiar woman's voice replied, sounding annoyed, "what're you doing here anyway? First years aren't on break yet!"

Succubus Kurumu Kurono had returned, and to Tsukune and Moka's surprise, she was dragging along a frozen looking Kokoa Shuzen!

"Kokoa? What are you…" Moka began to ask. Unfortunately, before the conversation could go any further, a loud explosion shook the house!

"Oh, what now!?" Kurumu exclaimed in frustration.

It wasn't hard to track the source of the explosion. Less then ten feet from the cabin, a white, spherical craft had crashed into the snow, leaving a decent sized crater.

"Is that… some kind of ship?" Tsukune wondered aloud as he approached the object to get a closer look. As he did, a hatch on the vessel's front suddenly cracked open. The door slowly opened, allowing the Newspaper Club members to see inside the ship.

A woman with short, violet hair wearing a badly damaged purple bodysuit was crammed into the pod, barely conscious!

"She's hurt!" Moka exclaimed, rushing to the pod, "Kurumu, help me get her inside!"

"What happened to her?" Tsukune couldn't help but wonder.

CLAYMORE

OPENING THEME: RAISON D ETRE (Claymore)

Far in the north, buried by the furious snowstorms that ravage the area regularly, lie the ruins of Pieta. Once a quiet town, it had been decimated a few short years ago during a terrible struggle between a small army of brave Claymores and the Abyssal One of the North's army of Awakened Beings.

Most in the organization assumed that all of the Claymores sent to halt the March of these monsters had been slain, but the organization was wrong. Seven warriors survived, and one of those 7, Clare, the former 47th ranked warrior, was searching through the snow covered ruins as she had day after day during the time since the battle, trying to find any lead towards what she sought.

"Still no luck?" the voice of a friend called from behind her. Looking back, Clare discovered that the leader of the seven "Ghosts of Pieta" had found her. She responded by simply shaking her head.

"I see," Miria sighed, "I know it would be pointless to ask you to stop looking, but be careful. We can't let word reach the Organization that we've survived."

"I know that," Clare replied simply, before cupping her hand behind her ear as though listening to something, "Miria, do you hear…" she didn't finish her question as an object suddenly streaked across the sky, slamming into the ground less then a dozen feet from the two Claymores.

It was a white, spherical vessel and a hatch on the front had already opened before the snow kicked up by the craft had even settled. A silver haired woman in a torn, gray bodysuit staggered out of the ship, carrying a little girl with orange hair in a less damaged orange suit. The little girl was missing her left arm and was clearly out cold.

"Help… us…" the silver haired woman pleaded, reaching out to Clare and Miria.

"Who are…" Miria began to ask, but was interrupted as hundreds of small, red crystals began to rain from the sky and embed themselves in the snow. "What's going on!?"

Both Claymores instinctively drew their weapons as dark shadowy figures began to emerge from the crystals.

A tinge of fear ran through Clare as the shadows solidified and took form into an army of monstrous creatures that faced the warriors!

"Yoma!?" Miria exclaimed in both surprise and dismay as hundreds of monsters began to approach them.
