"Dad look! She looks just like me!!"

What was that? That voice…it sounded familiar to me

"Hush, we dont want the gaurds to find us."

That voice was even more familiar to me, it was one that I would recognise almost anywhere.

Dad….Is that you?

I opened my eyes, only to see the water that surrounded my form. As I gazed at the two people who stood just outside the tube in which I was contained, I immediately realized where I was. I was back at the labs within Kolosten….

…the lab where the K-series project took place. But that was impossible, it should have been impossible.

"What will happen to her after we save her?" The small girl, unmistakably the original Kiana Kaslana asked her father as I watched the two from where I was.

I couldnt comprehend what was going on. The last thing that I remember was going to Kolosten with the rest of the Hyperion crew….no, there was more to it than just that, but for whatever reason I couldn't remember.

Regardless, this has to be an illusion of sorts. A trick by the honkai at the very least.

"The people at Anti-Entropy will take care of her?" Siegfried answered the young five year old Kiana.

"Can she come with us?"

"….You can visit her."

Something about this whole ordeal felt very weird to me. Back when I first saw these memories within the core of the herrscher of the void, I had been watching the events occure in third person. But now, it seemed to be in first person, as if I am reliving the experiences all over again.

"Then what should we call her? Does she have a name? We look just the same, so can she be my baby sister?"

The kindness within Kiana's heart, that was the reason that dad ended up giving me her name in the end was it not. She had been the first person to show me compassion, even if the two of us never got the chance to meet each other officially

"….I don't know."

In the end, the true Kiana Kaslana was going to die today. And the thought in itself was enough to upset me. Despite knowing that such thoughts would get me nowhere, I often wished I could have been stronger that day, that the powers that had been thrust upon me could have been used to save her, my beloved sister.

Before I could dwell too much on the thoughts that plagued my mind, I felt the water of the tube I was floating in slowly be drained as I decended from my previous position. When the tube was empty, my body was kneeling on the ground.

I was too weak….more accurately my body was still too weak, too fragile. It was my first time making use of these muscles, sinc my creation by that lowlife, Otto Apocalypse, so it made sense that my muscles would be too weak for any proper use. I couldn't even form any words with my own mouth….

…..though that was maybe because I had not idea what I would even say in a situation like this one.

Before I could think on it further, a large coated muscular arm wrapped around my smaller form, and lifted me from the ground. I came face to face with the man who would later on be my father, Siegfried Kaslana.

"Don't worry little one, we'll get you out of here." He spoke softly to me, his expression sincere. Though I noticed that there wasn't that same parental love in his eyes that he would show me in the future. Perhaps in this moment, he truly thought he would just hand me over to Anti-Entropy and be done with it.

Not that I would blame him. Across me, being held in Siegfried right arm, was the original Kiana Kaslana. His real daughter, why would he decide to keep a fake when his real daughter was with him. Despite knowing that the old man would eventually acknowledge me as his daughter, I couldn't help but wonder what would have happened if the real Kiana survived today's events.

…..Guess there was only one way to find out.

The sound of distant explosions interrupted any moment that had previously been there as Siegfried stiffened. Without a word to neither Kiana or myself the man ran out of the experiment room where I was born.

I knew where he was going, he was going for the fighter aircraft that would help us escape this place. The same air craft that would be chased and pursued by other aircrafts, and the same aircraft that would be shot down and the crash in itself would kill Kiana.

I was tempted to stop him from moving in that direction, but a thought occurred that I didn't even know how else the three of us would escape this place if not on that fighter plane. There was no other alternative, at least not one that would be believable from the mouth of a seven year old.

And so, just as it had happened before, the three of us were squeezed into that fighter aircraft and the old man took off as fast as he could. But it didn't take long for Schicksal personnel to pursue us. There were two other aircraft chasing us from what I could see, and it was going to be near impossible to shake them both off. There had to be something that I could do so we could all make it out of here alive.

Wait….I still had void core within me right? I could try and use that to do something. However that plan in itself had the risk of awakening Sirin a lot earlier than she was supposed to. But the old man would be able to stop Sirin just fine if it came to that, at the very least, Kiana would live to see another day.

And so with that in mind I closed my eyes and focused on drawing out the power which I knew was dwelling deep within me. I tried to focus on finding the void core, if I could only open a portal to get us out of here. That option was immediatel shut down when I realized that would only bring forth more questions than answers from the old man. Perhaps it would be best teleport the pursuing fighter planes themselves, rather than the plane they were in, it would be easier to avoid suspicion from her father with that particular action.

And so, I continued to search for the power of the void core within me. Within a few seconds, I felt the core respond to my own desires. It was almost to easy, there was no tug of war like what I had experienced in Arc city where I had to constantly fight Sirin for control, but rather the void core responded to me naturally…..and to my great surprise, it wasn't the only one.

…..I felt other cores within me begin!!

The gem of Haste

The gem of Serenity

The gem of Conquest

The core of Reason

And

The core of Sentience

Six herrscher cores!! How the fuck do I have six herrscher cores within the body of a seven year old?!! I'm sure the look of shock on my face must had been visible, but neither Siegfried nor Kiana noticed in the midst of all the chaos that was taking place. It also took some effort to suppress the honkai energy from said cores before they could leak out.

……There were many questions that I had, there was no one I could possibly ask. I would have to reserve those thoughts for another time though. If I didn't act now, then the chances of Kiana not surviving this conflict would rise that much higher.

I turned around the the back of aircraft and could see the other fighters still approaching and shooting at our aircraft. I had to give props to the old man, he was a good flier.

Eying the aircrafts behind us I focused on my void powers.

And opened a portal directly in front of each one…….

……I had no idea where I had sent them, and a part of me honestly didn't care. All three of us were safe. The old man, Kiana and myself. That's all that mattered to me at the moment. But another realization struck me as we flew of into the horizon

'If Kiana survives this time around then who would that make me?'

Two months later:

Two months had passed since that fateful day, and K423 still couldn't believe the life she was reliving once more. As her mind had cleared, the memories of her previous life slowly but surely came back to her, the last thing she remembered was the battle at Kolosten where they were attempting to stop Otto from reversing the world five hundred years back in time. She had gone in alone to engage the Overseer seeing as they had been running out of time.

The next thing she knew she was back inside that pod she had been created in, back on the day her father and Kiana saved her. K423 had just assumed the whole thing to be an illusion at first, or a dream perhaps, and expected it to come to an end anytime and wake up to the real world. But as the year had progressed, she also grew to accept this as her new reality.

The only explanation she had for all this was that Otto's plan to reverse time had somehow sent her back to the day she had been saved by her father.

But if that was so, then that brought about a lot of other questions that had been on K423's mind. Such as how she came to be in possession of seven herrscher cores.

The only conclusion she could come to was that she had been sent back with the herrscher cores she had during her time as the Herrscher of Flamescion, but considering that she had returned the core of reason to Bronya and the core of sentience to Fu Hua after the battle with the Herrscher of Dominance, then she should only have a total of three herrscher cores. The void core, the gem of Serenity and the gem of Haste. This led K423 to another theory……

……That perhaps she had been sent back with every herrscher core that she'd ever been in possession of.

It was the most plausible theory, especially since she also had the gem of conquest within her. She hadn't had that core since Mei reclaimed it back in Nagazora after fully awakening as the Herrscher of Thunder, and thus there was no reason for her to have it now in this new life.

So aside from the gem of serenity, conquest and haste, she also had the core of sentience, reason and void from her previous life. Now for the seventh herrscher core, this was the most intriguing. K423 was able to sense another void core within her, one which she suspected was the one which belonged in this particular timeline. This meant that this particular void core was the one which had been implanted in her when Otto created her, unlike the other cores which had been implanted within her due to the time travel.

In short, K423 was assuming she had been sent eleven years back in time due to Otto's plan o reverse time by five hundred years. This resulted in her somehow being sent back with six herrscher cores from her original timeline and adding the one that had already been in this body that made seven herrscher cores. Two void cores, the core of reason and sentience, and the gem haste, serenity and conquest…..

….Yeah the whole thing sounded pretty crazy to her too. However, she wasn't going to complain, she'd been given a second chance to right the wrongs she had done and perhaps save the lives of those she couldn't. She was going to use the opportunity to the fullest.

K423 was snapped out of her thoughts when her seven year old twin talked her in a hug, forcing the clone to quickly right her feet in order to adjust to the sudden shift in weight. Despite that she her body almost gave out.

"Hehe Kiana, how many times have I told you to be careful? Your sisters body is still too weak compared to you, she hasn't had time to properly strengthen her muscles from lack of use." Siegfried said in amusement. It was always funny how Kiana clung to her new younger sister, but he also found the sight to be rather cute.

One thing that K423 had noted was that much like her previous life her father had yet to give her a name, even though she had been with them for two months now, often just referring to her as 'sister', 'her' or 'she'. It was something that had also confused Kiana since she didn't understand that her sister had not been born with a name unlike her, and she couldn't exactly inherit the name Kiana since the original was still alive. K423 couldn't help but wonder what name she'll be granted when her father decided to give her one, after all it was something that was going to be defining her for the rest of her life.

"Okay papa!!" Kiana said as she slowly let go of K423, allowing her to adjust to the lack of weight once more. As much as she hated to admit it, her body really was weak at the moment, it would be a few months before she was had the strength that the average Kaslana was supposed to have. Meaning it would probably be a while before she could keep up with Kiana's antics.

Having his real daughter around had changed the way Seigfried had acted during this period of K423's life. In the previous timeline, the man had been quiet and reserved most of the time, and while he had spoiled K423 and given her everything she could want, he had never actually treated her like a daughter. Not until she proved herself as a Kaslana on that day, that was also the day that she had inherited the name 'Kiana'.

However this time around he the loving and caring father right from the start. Over the past two months Siegfried had done his best to take care of the both of them, and aside from giving K423 a name he had done a far better job the he had in his previous life. K423 couldn't help bt wonder what else would change in the up coming future due to her actions. One thing she knew for sure was that she and Kiana wouldn't be abandoned like she had before, since K423 couldn't feel the second herrscher within her. That meant she didn't have to fight her other persona for control over the cores, and it also meant their father wouldn't be attacked in the same manner that led to them parting ways in the previous timeline.

*Time skip – 2 years later*

It was easy to forget your origins when you have grown accustomed to such a life of peace and tranquility, but K423 would not allow herself to forget. To do so would be to spit on the memories of all the hardships she had faced in her previous life. She could not forget all the sacrifices that had been made for her sake, because without those sacrifices then she wouldn't even be here right now.

However, as much as she could not forget, she also knew there was no point in trying to rush progress and time. There were still another seven years until the third eruption in Nagazora and she was still nine. And so, for the past two years the clone had allowed herself to simply enjoy the peace, and enjoy being a child once more.

And that's how we find K423 and Kiana having a snow ball fight in the forest a few miles from the cabin. Time had allowed K423 to regain her strength, and through her efforts of trying to keep up with her highly active older sister K423 had managed to grow strong enough to the point where her strength and speed almost matched Kiana's.

About a year and a half ago, in order to avoid suspicion K423 had extracted six of the herrscher cores that were within her and put them within the void using the void core that she had left within her. As it had been her body was still too small and weak to actively hold seven herrscher cores within her, the energy would eventually leak out which would cause her farther to panic, or worse see her as a threat. Putting them in the void was the best option for her, at least until she grew and had the time to train in each of those powers. Besides, it wasn't like she needed those cores right now anyway.

"Too slow nee-chan!!" Kiana shouted as she ducked under a snowball that had been thrown at her. She closed her eyes and stuck her tongue out tauntingly at her sister. Only to have a snowball strike her directly in the face.

"Ha!! Take that!!" K423 shouted triumphantly with a smug expression as she laughed at the other snow haired girl. The older twin immediately stood up straight with a red nose and cheeks as she pouted.

"No fair, you hit me while my eyes were closed!!" Kiana objected as she stomped the ground in a manner that K423 found to be rather cute. The clone often had to remind herself that while Kiana had been declared the older twin, she was mentally older than the girl by almost ten years.

"Then you shouldn't close your eyes in a snowball fight Kiana-chan." K423 said smugly. Being a child again was truly a refreshing experience for her, one that she found herself enjoying a lot more this time around, considering that she had both a loving father and sister. She wanted to milk this peace for all it was worth, because she knew that it wouldn't last forever.

"Oh yeah?! Then how do you like this!!" Kiana shouted as she threw a slightly larger snow at the distracted sibling. The snowball struck true and K423 fell into the snow from the powerful force and size of the snowball. Honestly, she should stop underestimating Kiana's strength, while K423 may have recovered her strength to the point where she could keep up with Kiana, the older twin was still the stronger one out of the two of them. At least for now anyway.

"That was a cheap shot." K423 muttered from her position on the ground.

"You're just jealous of awso-" Kiana's voice cut of mid sentence confusing K423 as to why her sister had stopped gloating. She sat up to face her sister and throw back her own retort, only to freeze at the sight in front of her. She immediately understood why Kiana had gone silent.

For in front of the older twin stood a large templar honkai beast that easily towered over the nine year old girl. As for the young girl herself she was frozen in shock and fear as she looked at the beast that was more than ten times taller than her. K423 assessed the situation and knew that the two of them were in no position to fight this beast, they were still far too young and weak to be fighting honkai and had not yet received any form of training.

The other problem however was the fact that there was no way the two of them would be able to outrun that templar. While they had the natural physicality of any Kaslana they still lacked any form of training.

K423 was snapped out of her thoughts when the templar raised its lance high and began swing it towards Kiana in order to strike her. The older twin could only scream as the lance approached her faster than she could react, and the younger twin felt her body move on instinct as she called on the power within her.

"Kiana!!" K423 shouted frantically in panic as four black and yellow lances manifested around her person. The genetic clone immediately launched the lances towards the honkai beast in an attempt to stop it from striking her sister with an attack that could potentially kill her. However, K423 had reacted a little too late.

K423 could only watch in horro and slight shock as the beast struck Kiana with its lance, launching the girl with great speed into a nearby tree, before it was struck down itself by the four lances that had been launched by K423. The younger twin didn't even bother to check if the beast had been put down by the attack as she ran frantically towards her sister whose body lay by the base of the tree she had crashed into.

"Kiana!! Kiana wake up!!" K423 shouted frantically as she dropped to her knees right next to the other Kaslana. It was only once she was close that she noticed the amount of blood that was seeping into the snow below her sister, and the open wound was on her forehead that was still bleeding a lot. K423 was brought out of her panic when she heard a loud stomping coming from not too far ahaead.

She cradled Kiana's body int her arms protectively as she looked ahead to see what it was that was approaching them. It was a Chariot honkai beast!! Just how did these honkai beasts get in the area without the Old Man noticing, not to mention her own senses as a herrscher should have allowed her to see them coming. Or perhaps it was because she was still too young to make roper use of her herrscher powers. Regardless, she had to protect Kiana right here and now.

Holding her sister closer to her body, K423 summoned six more void lances, and had three of them stand vertically infront of both of them while she shot the other three towards the chariot beast that was charging towards them. The lances struck true and pierced deep into the carcass of the honkai beast, killing it almost immediately.

"Kiana!!" It was at this moment that Siegfried Kaslana arrived on the scene, having heard the screams and panicked cries from the girls. He was surprised to see two honkai beasts on the ground with multiple gold and black lances going through them. As well as seeing three of those lances hovering protectively in front of both K423 and Kiana. Though what immediately caught his attention was the unconscious Kiana cradled within K423's arms with a rather large head wound that was bleeding.

The elder Kaslana wasted no time rushing up to the two of them. The lances that had been around the twins vanishing once K423 noticed the old man approaching them. He wasted no time taking Kiana out of her twins arms and giving her a quick run over. The wounds were not looking too good from what hit could see. Minor skull fracture, cracked ribs and multiple bruises.

"We have to get her to a hospital, now!!" Siegfried said to his other child, the urgency in his voice made it clear to K423 that Kiana's condition was critical. Siegfried didn't even wait for a response as he stood up and began to make a beeline for the nearest town, He knew that K423 would be close behind.

Kiana's condition had been stabilized, her injuries treated as best as the doctors within the town could. Though K423 felt that Kiana would have gotten better treatment with Anti-Entropy. Still, the doctors had said that she would wake up soon, and would make a full recovery within three to five months. That was something that K423 was glad to hear at least, but that didn't stop the guilt that was swirling within her.

She could have prevented this if she had been more aware of her surroundings. Not to mention that she had frozen up when she first saw the templar honkai beast. If she had acted as soon as she saw it then it wouldn't have had the opportunity to strike Kiana. What was the point of having this power if she couldn't even save someone that was right in front of her.

Perhaps it was her own fault. She had gotten to comfortable with her current life, and as a result thought she could push the start of her training until much later on. But it ould be better if she started as soon as possible, if the old man didn't agree to start teaching her then she would just start training on her own. K423 didn't care what she had to do, all she knew was that she couldn't allow another situation like today to occur while she had the power to actually do something.

"Hey Baby Doll, how are you holding up?" Siegfried said as he approached K423 with a sympathetic expression. He just realized for the greater part o the ordeal he had not been paying attention to his other child due to his concern for Kiana's well being, not that K423 could blame him though she was also just as worried.

"It's my fault." K423 said more bitterly than she intended to. While Siegfried didn't have the whole picture of everything that had happened within the forest, one thing that he did know was that K423 had tapped into her herrscher powers and used them to protect both her and Kiana.

"You did everything that you could." Siegfried replied soothingly as he sat down next to the girl and brought her into his arms, a movement that wasn't rejected by K423 as she hugged him for comfort. "It's because of you that Kiana is even alive right now. If you hadn't done what you did then both of you might have died." The Kaslana head said as he gently rubbed the girls back.

"But I could have stopped Kiana from getting hurt. I just froze when I saw that honkai beast in front of her. By the time I actually did something it had already hit her and sent her flying into one of the nearby trees." K423 confessed, as distraught as she was aout the ordeal, she was still aware of the fact that she couldn't let her old man know that she was aware of her herrscher powers.

"Listen, it was your first time encountering a honkai beast." Siegfried said, and K423 wanted to declare how that was not true, "Besides, you're still young. You haven't been trained to fight honkai beasts." The old man added, and K423 saw the opportunity for her to get the training they needed early on.

"Then can you teach me to fight like you?" K423 asked hopefully, she didn't want to sound desperate, but I a way she kinda was. For a moment Siegfried pulled away from the girl and looked into her eyes, all forms of sympathy gone as his eyes hardened with a level of seriousness that she rarely saw.

"Why now? You're still young." Siegfried said, he could understand why this whole ordeal had shaken her, and he understood her sudden need to grow stronger. But he needed to hear it from her mouth. He had planned to start training both his girls in about two or three years, when they had both grown a little.

"I don't want to see Kiana get hurt like she did today. I want to be able to protect her with my own two hands. Isn't that what you said Kaslana do? Protect those that they hold dear." K423 said passionately as she looked at her own weak hands. Siegfried could feel the determination behind those words, and a part of him felt pride as he saw something in the girl that he hadn't seen before, and in that moment he came to a decision.

"That's right, we Kaslana fight to defend the innocent and protect those we love. I'll start training you as soon as Kiana is cleared to leave, Sirin Kaslana." Siegfried declared with an affectionate smile as K423's, now Sirin, eyes widened in surprise.

"Wh-what?" Was the girls intelligent reply, she didn't expect her father to grant her a name now of all times. And of all the names she expected from him that had been the last one to come to mind.

"I just figured it was time that you had your own identity, something to define you. The name Sirin belonged to someone who once held the same powers you do, someone that I failed to save. So I want you to take it and do good by it, Sirin Kaslana, my daughter." Siegfried said softly as he rubbed the girls head with his rather large hand.

Sirin honestly didn't mind, in fact she found the whole thing to be rather poetic. After all, she was born from the original Sirin's will, so it only made sense to her that she inherit that name as well. She knew that the road ahead would not be easy, especially since the name 'Sirin' and the powers of the Herrscher of the Void brought about bad history for both Anti-Entropy and Schicksal. But she would carry the name and power forward and do good with them.

For that was her name now….

….Sirin Kaslana.

Authors Note:

And that wraps up the first chapter folks. Honestly I don't know why I wrote this fic, I just thought about how different things would have been if Kiana(K423) had been sent back in time to the day she was saved.

The idea of her having the herrscher cores from the previous timeline was just a random thought for me, but I didn't want to make Kiana to OP so don't expect to see much of those herrscher cores unless the situation really calls for it.

I myself look forward to seeing how this story progresses.
