Chapter 1

The 100 born on Halloween

17 years ago on one Halloween night 12 babies were born in Arkadia hospital just a few hours after an informs serial killer was caught and killed in a police raid.

Now in the weeks leading up to Halloween someone is killing members of the primes as they have been calling them self's for years.

So it is up to Clarke Griffin and Bellamy Blake who share the position of first born that night to figure out who is killing their friends and why before they too are killed.

Halloween is my favourite time of year so I wanted to try writing another Halloween themed fic, I've put a lot of work into this one so I hope people enjoy. Quick note though before we start in this Clarke and Bellamy are the same age as well as others like Raven in case people were wondering, it needs to be that way for the fic. Also to begin please bear with me in terms of character names if you read to the end of the chapter I think you will see what I'm doing in this fic. Again hope you all enjoy and if you do please review and comment I would love to hear peoples thoughts.

Arkadia – Louisiana

It was a dark night the sky was devoid of any visible stars so the blackness of the night sky was enveloping, it consumed everything it touched shielding it from view. The house was isolated at the end of a dirt road so the light from the distant street lights didn't reach it allowing the blackness to envelop the house. The air around the house was cold as well so the house to anyone who did see it would be seen for what it truly was, a place of darkness and evil.

The house sat alone where it was so in spite of the evil there that was obvious the area around the house was a still place a place of little action however this was the night that was going to end if just for one night. Things remained as they were for a time quiet in one moment like the one before but then in the next sirens could be heard and lights were suddenly visible heading in the direction of the house with impressive speed. Five FBI vehicles in all moved in the direction of the house as fast as they could, the agents and swat inside were all eager to finally catch the killer they now knew was inside the house they were heading to.

In the back of the lead vehicle lead agents Taylor and Morley both readied them self's for what they instinctively knew was not going to be an easy task. 'This is really the middle of nowhere isn't it Bob,' agent Taylor said looking over at her partner who was currently checking that his gun was at the ready in an effort to calm the slight nerves she was feeling right now. Agent Taylor had done this sort of thing many times before and she had handled it all well but that experience really just told her when she needed to be nervous and she knew now was one of those times.

'We'll be fine Eliza,' Bob said looking up at her giving her a reassuring kind of nod stowing his gun back in its holster 'this guy won't go quietly I'm sure but I'm also sure we'll get him.' As he finished saying this the car came to a halt and once it did so Bob looked in to Eliza's eyes and in that moment both agents shared a moment, it was short lived however because neither of them said anything to each other even though they both wanted to.

'Interesting way to be spending Halloween don't you think,' Eliza remarked as they both got out the car and started crouching down as everyone set up a perimeter around the house. There wasn't time enough for Bob or anyone else to give any kind of response however because the moment Eliza made this remark gun shots rang out and everyone immediately had to take cover.

The shadowy figure that had appeared suddenly and was now shooting from the open door of the house was apparently not a great shot so no one had been hit but they were firing wildly so everyone was careful to find cover. Eliza and Bob for their part found them self's sheltering behind a tree stump which was actually quite narrow so they were more or less on top of each other in spite of this though they both yelled for someone to shoot back. Which was what happened, the sound of a different gun rang out and then the wild shooting stopped as the figure who was now limping rushed back inside the house leaving the door open as they did so.

With the signal for all clear made a minute after this Bob and Eliza both got up from where they had been sheltering and led everyone through the motions as they enacted the action they all knew well. Most of the agents stayed outside in case the killer who the figure who had been shooting no doubt was made a break for it and Bob and Eliza went inside the house with two others to hopefully arrest the serial killer they had all been tracking for months.

Most of the rooms in the house looked comparatively normal such as the kitchen and bathroom Eliza and Bob both checked together looking for the killer apart from the fact the lights were off making the rooms creepy. However when they got to the dining room things took a turn for the evil, the dining room it's self was fine but it was what was on the table that really turned the stomach of Bob, Eliza and the other agents.

There were thirteen jars laid out on the table four of which were empty but that little fact was overlooked at this moment because nine of the jars were full of various kinds of stomach turning substances. One of the jars had what looked to be a kidney inside, another had a human heart and one had several ribs, all the jars had various human body parts inside but it didn't just end there because these jars were one step worse. Each jar had something else included in its mix of human body parts and strange amber liquid, one jar the one with the heart in it had a bird shoved in there as well and another had what looked to be several live snails inside.

'Well I think we've got the guy,' Eliza remarked looking at the jars and then looking up and around in an effort to think where the killer had gone. As she did this one of the other agents suddenly made a break for the door no doubt needing to throw up, Eliza had started out as a medical doctor before she decided to join the FBI so stuff like this didn't bother her much but she understood why it could bother others.

'Go after them,' Bob whispered gesturing at the other agent 'make sure they don't throw up on anything important.' The agent did as Bob directed immediately which left just him and Eliza to find where the killer was hiding, it wasn't exactly regulation for just them to do this but he was sure they would be fine.

As Eliza looked around the dining room she noticed a trail of blood drops on the floor leading out of the dining room in the direction of what she guessed would be the living room. Having seen this she gave Bob a bit of a nudge gesturing at the floor in the same motion so they were on the same page and with Bob having seen the blood they both slowly moved in the direction of the living room.

The living room of the house looked relatively normal as well even if there were a lot of book shelfs but neither of them looked at that detail much both Eliza and Bobs attention was on the blood trail that led past a dropped rifle and right to a shut door that led out of the small living room. Both Bob and Eliza saw this but they didn't say anything they didn't need too they both just acted on instinct taking position either side of the door and having done that Bob tested it revealing that it was locked.

Seeing this they both relaxed moving away from the door slightly 'you in there,' Bob called deciding he might as well get the ball rolling with this 'we are up for talking you know.'

There was a few moments of silence after Bob said this but then a strained sounding male voice came from the other side of the door, 'what is there to talk about,' the voice asked addressing Bob's statement.

'Well the possibility of you giving up for one,' Eliza tried speaking up now 'this doesn't need to end with your death,' it was true, no one liked it when they weren't able to put someone on trial for their crimes.

'Well I think it might,' the killer called back at Eliza no doubt being contrary just for the hell of it 'I think I might prefer that.'

Hearing this Bob took a further step away from the door rolling his eyes as he did so 'well,' he sighed looking at Eliza who looked back at him expectantly 'I don't think this is going to go the easy way.' Hearing this Eliza made a shrugging motion which made Bob smile 'you wait here,' he continued smiling 'I'll go get some help so we can break this door down and get this guy out of here.'

Having said this Bob nodded at Eliza and turned around starting to walk out the living room but he only made it a few steps before the killer called out again distracting him. 'Out of interest,' the killer called loudly clearly wanting this to be heard 'is it just you two out there right now?'

'Yeah,' Bob said stopping and turning back around to look at the door Eliza was now guarding puzzled by this odd question.

'That's a pity,' the killer called upon hearing this 'one more it might have worked but I guess twelve is probably going to do something.'

This statement changed things right away for Bob, feeling a pit begin to form in his stomach he started scanning around the living room for something he might have missed. The profile of the killer he, Eliza and others had worked on had said that a killer like this wouldn't be capable of such things but there were outliers and with what the killer had just said Bob was now worried. Sadly Bob's new concern proved warranted because as he looked around the living room he now saw that a cabinet more or less right next to him had a bloody handle which meant to killer had took the time to open it while he was running from them.

Bob had just enough time to look up at Eliza and take in the sight of her face before the homemade bomb which had been counting down which he now knew was in this cabinet went off. The explosion and fire ball the bomb created when it went off wasn't the biggest of things but was big enough to send fire and a shock wave rattling through the house, the house wasn't destroyed but it might as well have been.

Eliza for her part managed to actually remain conscious as the explosion happened, she saw Bob look at her scared and then there was fire which was quickly followed by all manner of searing pain. The explosion had been big enough that Bob had been sent flying towards her meaning both she and Bob had been sent through the door that she had been guarding just a moment ago.

Coughing up what she was sure was blood Eliza looked around the space she was now in seeing some kind of store room, craning her neck Eliza tried to look down at herself to see exactly how bad it was which proved to be a bad idea. There was an actual hole in her stomach and her leg was bent at an impossible angle and that was just what she could see, leaning back down Eliza knew this was it this was how she was going to die and realising that she knew there was just one thing she wanted.

'Bob,' she tried looking around for him coughing up more blood as she crocked out words, he was almost right next to her as it turned out but he was out cold. It hurt but Eliza reached out a hand for him which was missing fingers but she did it all the same so she could feel him, Bob was still alive Eliza could see him breathing but both his legs and one arm were gone so this was the end for him too. They were both bleeding so much and where so messed up by the explosion Eliza wasn't sure where she began and Bob ended but that wasn't any different really from how they were normally. 'I love you,' Eliza said, she spat up blood as she did so but Eliza was glad she got to say it even if she was about to die.

'That's so sweet,' Eliza heard a clearly pained voice laugh as she said this, she didn't break contact with Bob but hearing this she moved to look in the direction the voice had come from. Doing so she saw the man who must be the killer laying a few feet from them who looked just as bad as she and Bob were but who was awake as well and was looking at her with a somehow actually amused expression. 'Don't worry,' the man smiled seemingly beginning to lose consciousness himself now and no doubt die 'I have a feeling you two are going to get a second chance, I have a feeling we are all going to be getting a second chance.'

Having said that the man seemingly died leaving just Eliza and Bob alive, Eliza could feel her self-beginning to go so she tried to concentrate on Bob but in spite of everything her brain found the space to wonder about what the killer had just said and as she did so she saw something. Because of how they had ended up and the damage the explosion had done Eliza now had a clear view in to what had once been the houses dining room and where just earlier she had seen the evidence of the killer's crimes. The jars had smashed but that wasn't what drew Eliza's attention in this moment as she died it was the glowing mist that seemed to be flowing away from the jars, 'strange,' Eliza managed looking back at Bob as he breathed his last and she died also.

One hour latter

Arkadia hospital

In the maternity ward of Arkadia hospital nurse Indra Woods sat at their wards reception desk just listening to the sounds of the two women who were about to become mothers coming from rooms not far away from her. It was night so there wasn't much to do but listen to the babies that had an hour ago showed no sign of coming fast but were now seemingly racing to the finish line and to be at the ready if someone needed her. In a strange way Indra was wondering which one of these babies was going to be first, they had apparently decided to make it an all-out race the little speedsters so she was wondering which one would win.

Indra knew this was a weird thing to be thinking about though so she pulled out one of the wards files to try and get herself thinking about better things. Looking through the file which was the register of dew dates Indra saw that there weren't any deliveries expected for two weeks so the chances of getting anyone rushing in weren't high, which was probably for the best Indra decided. Tonight was Halloween night so she would guess the last thing any soon to be parent really wanted was to wind up giving birth tonight making their child's birthday Halloween.

As she put the file away another nurse appeared in front of Indra on the other side of the reception desk a sort of hopeful look on her face. 'Don't go there,' Indra said addressing the nurse's hopeful expression head on 'there is no reason to think anything else is going to happen tonight.' Even if there were due dates coming up it was unlikely that there was going to be many more coming in, Indra had been doing this job long enough to know they rarely got more than three in one night, she had seen five in one night once but that was the record.

Hearing this the nurse moved away from Indra looking disappointed and bored again, people rarely liked the night shift but Indra thought it could feel peaceful at times. Thinking about this and the two pregnancies that were racing to the finish line again Indra looked at the door that was more or less right in front of her that led out in to a darkened parking area.

Most maternity wards like there's were or at least in part on ground level with their own entering area for the simple reason that sometimes women found them self's needing to rush inside. Some didn't even manage that, Indra had seen more than a few women end up giving birth in the parking area outside which did usually make for an interesting go of things and Indra was sure a fun birthing story for the mothers later on.

Indras musing of these times was suddenly cut short when a rather panicked looking man suddenly appeared in front of her with a look on his face Indra recognised very well. 'Is she outside,' Indra asked standing up as the man reached her ready to ask about the woman who was about to give birth to his child.

The man only nodded apparently beyond words which was something that happened 'well don't worry were here to help,' Indra said to the man in the firm voice she used when handling men in such situations. As she did this Indra gestured at the nurse from a minute ago to get her attention who quickly rushed over 'this man needs our help,' she said to the nurse 'take him outside and help him bring her in.'

Both the man and the nurse were thankful for the direction so they did as she directed right away rushing outside and as they did so Indra made to pick up a phone and get someone to help with this however what happened next stopped her in her tracks. As the nurse and the man disappeared through the door a new man came rushing through the door as it closed looking like the first and then just as he reached Indra two women came through the doors one of which was clearly pregnant and in labour.

Things didn't stop after that, pregnant women in the full throws of a labour that shouldn't be happening yet just kept appearing at the front doors of the ward. Some came with the fathers while others came with friends and yet others came on their own delivered by ambulance but they kept coming not letting up in what was actually a short space of time. Ten appeared at the doors of the ward that night in all, ten pregnancies that were suddenly in labour each one of them coming early for some reason no one could understand but come they did like it or not.

After what had felt like some kind of strange marathon Indra found herself going through different rooms in the wards checking on different babies some of them were quite early so there was a lot of concern in the air. As she moved looking in different rooms Indra spotted one of the doctors in a room that had two women and two babies in looking over the babies, thinking she could help Indra stepped inside. 'Is there anything I can do to help doctor,' Indra said moving to stand beside the doctor ready to help in whatever way she could, most of these babies did seem to need her help.

'These two are actually fine, Indra,' the doctor said looking up seeing who it was talking to him 'unlike the rest these two actually came on time.' There was a sarcasm to the doctors voice but Indra couldn't blame them for that really as things stud right now they had all really been through the ringer tonight with so much unexpected activity.

'So these are the two from earlier in the night,' Indra asked looking at the babies each in there plastic box cribs and then at the mothers asleep either side of her and the doctor, they had each been in different rooms earlier but they must have been moved.

'Yeah,' the doctor side nodding slightly and letting out a little chuckle 'I thought it was just going to be these too tonight but I guess fate had other ideas.'

'Out of interest doctor,' Indra asked deciding after tonight she was passed caring about or worrying about thinking about such things 'which one of these two came first, it kind of felt like these two were in a race.'

'It did didn't it,' the doctor chuckled knowing right away apparently what Indra was getting at 'I thought about that myself actually so I looked at the paper work and as it turns out it was a photo finish, these two were born at exactly the same time I mean I think the difference between them is a matter of seconds.'

'Wow,' Indra said hearing this surprised looking down at the two babies wondering what were the odds of such a thing. Looking down at the two now Indra really took them in both the babies were sleeping now but interestingly both of them had curled up against one side of their boxes slightly meaning each of them was as close to the other as they could get. Seeing this made Indra smile these two little miracles who would from now on be exactly the same age didn't know each other in there small undefined minds but from the looks of it on some level they at least wanted to.

'They have names yet,' Indra asked looking up at the doctor now, it felt like there was some kind of story here to her worth telling and if she was to do that she should have names. Tales of new life were the best kinds of tales to tell but a tale was only really worth telling when there was a name and two small lives such as these deserved names in a tale.

'Boy's going to be Bellamy apparently,' the doctor said pointing at the slightly bigger of the two 'and the girl is going to be Clarke,' he continued moving his arm to point at the fairer featured one. 'You know,' the doctor started relaxing his arm now and taking in the sight of little Clarke and Bellamy asleep side by side 'it kind of feels like these two already know each other to me, I wonder if these two souls have history.'

Indra didn't believe in such things so she didn't say anything in response to this to be polite to the doctor in the moment of romantic fantasy they seemed to be having but as she looked down at Clarke and Bellamy she had to admit even she wondered for a moment. The way these two were trying to stay close was really a sight to be seen, it was a sight that felt like it meant something so Indra did wonder if it was just possible if Clarke and Bellamy here had just been given some kind of second chance.

Now I hope you all enjoyed that first chapter and are looking forward to see more from Clarke and Bellamy now they have been reincarnated.
