Authoress: *dark chuckling* Oh, this is going to be juicy. I have changed so much, and this is just a small portion of it all!

AN: As with Resolve of one, I feel it is my duty and obligation to inform you all about the journey you are about to dive into. This iteration of the 'Of One' time streams will show an even more insane stream of changes. Even Resolve did not have this much chaos in it. So, without further adieu, let the prologue begin!

Prologue

Paul's 1st P.O.V.

I squinted as the sun hit my eyes. While I had been living in Nevada for about ten stellars before jumping to this dimension, I still wasn't used to how blinding the sun was in the desert. Having just arrived from the dimension jump, I knew that I would be only close to the time that I wanted to arrive in Jasper. However, given how high the sun was in the sky, I had arrived a little earlier than I wanted. Well, guess it was time to get to our home and prepare for Lizzie's arrival. So, for the first time since my arrival, I glanced around at Jasper.

Immediately, I felt my heart drop.

The town was a ruin. By the looks of it, nobody had lived here in years. What had happened? Did I mistakenly jump myself to a different dimension than Lizzie? I needed to find out answers, and quickly. I didn't have much power to spare for another jump, but I would if it would get me to Lizzie. The human had just sacrificed so much of herself to come and help me make peace between my children.

I wanted to save everyone, the timeline be fragged. The whole point of me bringing Lizzie with me was to save all that I could. What sort of god would I be to them if I simply saved a select few who were going to offline? No, I wanted the best chance for peace that was possible, and for that, we needed to save everybot that we could. Cliffjumper, Skyquake, Breakdown, Hardshell, Bumblebee, Megatron, Optimus; everybot that could be saved.

But, from the looks of things, I already seemed to make a mess of my plans.

After a few more clicks of staring, I finally moved my feet down the abandoned main street. Burned-out buildings surrounded me, long since abandoned. Looking at the walls, they didn't seem to be made by human-made explosives.

Walking toward the school, I saw that the impacts on the ground, and the scorch marks on the walls, said that this was due to my children. But, a battle like this never happened before. Why would it have changed before my arrival? It couldn't have been Lizzie, she wasn't going to be arriving in this dimension for a few more hours. Was there another god at play? I knew more existed, and there were a few more than just me that could manipulate space and time to cause a change like this.

Gently, I placed a hand down on the door that led into the school. or, what used to be the school. It was honestly surprising that the doors were still standing given what happened to the rest of the building. I would find out what happened to them. I would find out no matter what. Instinct told me that this was partly my fault. Something about my planned changes in this universe had caused something to act against me. I had been stupid. I had charged forward without even thinking and now Earth had already paid the consequences of my actions.

The glint of something not covered in decades-old soot caused me to move to the side of the school. There, laying on the ground, was a cracked red visor. From the looks of it, this one was used by the Decepticon drones. Had the Decepticons done this?

Suddenly, I heard the sound of a high-pitched engine. Who was that? The town was abandoned, or so it seemed. Were there some survivors among the wreckage, and I had just missed them? I was disoriented enough where that might be the case. Seeing Jasper in such a state was not one I was ready to see.

I felt relief when a familiar blue motorcycle came into view. Arcee. So, the Autobots still had a presence in the area. That was at least a relief. But, now I was wondering how I was going to get her to take me with…

Something wasn't right. I only now just realized that she didn't have her soliform rider on her back. Where was it? Perhaps things had changed enough in this dimension where the human populace knew about the Autobots. It was strange, but not unheard of. However, that wasn't the only thing that grew my concern. Her chassis was littered with scrapes and there was a large scar traversing her right side. Something she fought had given her that where, in the original, she held no scar like that.

The third different thing was something I didn't catch until she was right in front of me. Instead of her usual Autobot insignia that had blended into her doorwing in the original timeline, the one that now adorned her doorwing was black and easy to see.

"I thought those pesky Decepticon cleared all the humans out. Guess they missed one." She said more to herself. "Oh well, that gives me more to play with." Frag, was this a shatterglass?

As she reached down for me and I ran away from her, the sound of a missile hit my ears. What was that? I found out the next instant later when said missile cruised over my helm and slammed into Arcee, sending her back. Pausing, I looked up and saw, to my amazement, that a helicopter that looked similar to Airachnid, outside of its rustic gold and tan coloring, was hovering above me before it transformed. In its place, a mech stood who, while slim, was broader than Airachnid had been. His turquoise optics had the same shape and design as Airachnid's had in the shown.

"Paul, are you alright?"

"Yeah, I'm…" I started to answer when what he said hit me. He knew my designation! How the hell did Tarantulus, which was who this was, know my name? "How do you know who I am?"

He growled and fired a few rounds at the two-wheeler, who was trying to stand up before he shook his helm. "No time to explain that now. We need to get back to headquarters."

"You won't leave here with that human alive, Decepticon!" Arcee growled before firing a round toward me.

Instantly, I felt webbing surround me before I was pulled to safety from the shot. Instead of releasing me, Tarantulus transformed around me before flying away from the warped Autobot femme. What was going on? Everything was moving too fast and it was hard to keep track of it all. "Hold on, where are you taking me?"

"Decepticon headquarters. We estimated that you should be arriving in Jasper this solar but I was a little slower arriving than I wanted. Sorry about that." The mech answered. "Look," He then started. "I know you have questions. A lot of them. But, I'm not the best one to be looking at to answer them. Let's get back to headquarters and the bosses will explain everything to you." He was then silent for a click. "Oh, and I was told to tell you to brace yourself. There are going to be a lot of surprises in store for you."

Well, that told me I was being kept in the dark for now. Great. But, for now, I was going to use this flight to figure out what he had told me. The Autobots were the bad bots in this dimension. That told me that this, at the very least, was a warped mirror dimension if not an outright shatterglass. Secondly, the Decepticons had a headquarters here on Earth. That meant that there were more than likely a few bases here as well that belonged to them. Thirdly, and honestly, the most important, was that he let slip that he had more than one boss. That led me to believe that Megatron might not be the sole leader of the Decepticons.

But, who would Megatron be close enough with to allow co-leadership of the Decepticons? Maybe Zarak? Or hell even Starscream could fit that bill. And those were only my guesses if this was a pure shatterglass dimension. If this was only a warped mirror dimension then I was going to have to look at several different options. That, of course, would include both Optimus and Alpha Trion. Two high-ranking bots who in most verses were against Megatron. If this was a warped dimension, I could see those two working with him the most.

As I continued to think about all that was happening around me, I heard Tarantulus call for a ground bridge and, a few moments later, we were flying through. My eyes widened as I took in the scene around me. This had to be located somewhere mountainous and secluded. Perhaps the Alps or the Rockies? Anyways, there was an entire cybertronian/human hybrid base built into the mountains and valleys below. Just from what I could see, there were hundreds of cybertronians moving about down below, and that was just from what little I could see.

When we drew even closer, I saw dozens of humans out and about in just the section we were flying in. So, that at least answered the question of if the human populace knew of our existence. That answer was a resounding yes. They were all interacting with each other so smoothly that I knew that they had to have known for quite some time. How had…how had this all happened? Something major had to have changed for something this serious to happen. I felt guilty as I thought back to the remains of Jasper. Earth's people had suffered for a miscalculation that I had made. I would never be able to repay my debt for what I had caused.

I came back to my senses as Tarantulus landed. It was then that I realized we were at the central tower that I had seen on our approach. So, this was headquarters. Finally, I was close to receiving the answers that I so desperately found myself needing.

Only a small bout of motion sickness came over me when Tarantulus transformed around me. Perhaps being webbed up helped with that. Thankfully, Tarantulus immediately started to undo the webbing as he held me in his servo.

"I didn't think he would give you that much trouble, brother." My heart dropped when I heard that familiar voice. Turning, I found myself correct in who it was. One of the few cybertronians with violet optics that did not have the influence of dark energon in their lines, I found myself worried for my continued existence as Airachnid walked over to us.

He scoffed as he removed the last of the webbing. "Not that it is any of your business, dear sister, but he has been very understanding given the circumstances. This was due to moving him out of the way of your second favorite two-wheeler's proclivity to eradicating any humans she sees."

Airachnid growled at that. "Arcee, that fragging glitch." She then shook her helm before looking at me. What was she thinking? Was she still an obsessive hunter or had this dimension quelled that yearning? "Got to say, when you went out to collect our god, I was imagining him looking different."

"And how much more different did you expect him to be than being a human?" Tarantulas shot back, seemingly forgetting I was here.

Wait…they knew that I was Primus? Just…how the frag did they know about that? This wasn't adding up in the slightest. It was one thing for them to know my name. Perhaps the citizens of Jasper had pre-received the knowledge of my arrival and thought I lived there. They were supposed to already know me on arrival. That seemed like the best answer for that. But, to know that I was fragging Primus? I went to ask the mech about that when I remembered that he wasn't going to answer my questions.

The femme in question shrugged. "I figured he would look older. Give off that wise mentor kind of vibe considering everything. Not the thirty-stellar old bachelor who gives off teddy-bear vibes."

…Did Airachnid…Airachnid of all bots, just fragging say I gave off teddy-bear vibes?

"You've been spending too much time watching those Hallmark Christmas movies," Tarantulas said with a vent before we started to walk away.

I could hear her laugh before she yelled after Tarantulas. "I find them next to your Disney movies." I felt the mech bristle under me. But, instead of responding, he just walked inside the building. Her laughter was heard right until the doors closed.

"Fragging femme. Disney movies are intricate stories with deep and emotionally relatable characters. You watch one Hallmark Christmas movie and you've watched them all." Tarantulas grumbled as we walked the halls.

While he continued to mutter something about Disney movies, I thought about that entire interaction. What the frag was that? How the frag does Airachnid know about Hallmark movies? Or even Tarantulas about Disney movies? This was all going way too quickly and I wasn't understanding this. What the frag could have happened due to my interference to cause this kind of change? What the frag was I going to see next? Fragging Silas walking around in a Stitch onesie?

Tarantulas stopping in his movements caused me to focus on the area around us again and I saw that we had arrived at a door that was guarded by two bots. Those two bots, specifically, were Bulkhead and Breakdown. They seemed to be having some sort of argument if the looks on their faceplates were anything to go off of. However, once they realized that we stopped in front of them, both looked at us. "So, you run into any Autobots?" Bulkhead asked. It was weird hearing him ask that. He was…well, in other dimensions he was an Autobot.

My escort nodded. "Yeah, Arcee arrived before I did and I had to get us out of there quick."

"Pay up mech. That's five credits to me," Breakdown said with a smirk, holding his servo out to Bulkhead. The green mech grumbled before handing over said money.

What. The. Frag?

After their exchange, they both turned back to us. "Megatron is in there waiting for you. The others had to go deal with a situation that came up."

The vent that came out of Tarantulas told me that this came up regularly. "Ten credits that it was Knockout and Blurr again. I swear those two mechs can't go five clicks without challenging each other to a race." He said to them.

Bulkhead laughed at that. "I'll take that bet. I bet that it is Blaster and Soundwave again. Remember last time they decided to bring back that one-hundred-foot python on their mission to South America? Honestly, surprised nobot was offlined in that one. Those two love collecting pets."

"I'm in too. But, I think it's Scalpel and Wheeljack. They looked a little too excited this morning when they went by me. Probably blew something up again," Breakdown added.

Hold up…Wheeljack and Scalpel? Knockout and Blurr? Blaster and SOUNDWAVE? What sort of strange universe did I fragging stumble into? Between Airachnid's Hallmark movies, Tarantulas' Disney movies, and all of this, I felt like I was going to go into spark failure.

As Breakdown opened the door to let us in, though, what else they said clicked. Megatron was not a part of the 'others' that were mentioned. That meant that, somehow, this whole operation was being run by multiple bots. Who knew? Maybe there were humans a part of this as well.

Once we were in the room, and the door closed, I glanced around and saw a crescent-moon-shaped table. At the table were five seats. Megatron was sitting on the one that was, in my view, to the left of the center seat. He seemed more put together than he was in the original dimension. I guess that was a good start. But, who would be sitting in the other four seats? I had thought it a stretch for one other bot to rule the Decepticons with Megatron…but four others? I had to be in some strange dream? Did I inhale something on my trip here? That would make a lot more slagging sense than this did right now.

"Thank you for retrieving him, Tarantulas. You may set Paul there before you leave." Megatron motioned toward a seat that had been set on the table. So, it did not seem like there were any humans in this leadership. As strange as it sounded that sort of made me relieved. This dimension was crazy enough as it was. But, it was comforting to know they had a place for a human to sit and converse with them should the need arise.

Like it was now.

Once Tarantulas set his servo on the table, I stepped off and turned to the mech. "Thank you," While I didn't know what was going on, the mech did save me from getting blasted and for that I was grateful. Plus, I was now one step closer to fragging answers and I didn't want to wait any longer than I had to. He helped me get here to do that and so I was again thankful.

"Of course. Just try to not faint when they finally answer those questions," Tarantulas answered before he walked out of the room.

When the door closed, it was silent between the two of us. Well, this wasn't awkward in the slightest. I wanted to start a conversation, but since I doubted I would get answers without the other four members of this leadership present, then there wasn't much I could talk about. Maybe the weather? But, I didn't care how much a dimension changed I didn't see Megatron humoring me and talking about the weather.

"Was your trip here safe?" Megatron asked and, at that click, I realized that he was studying me. What was he doing? Did he think I was hurt? Or maybe I was some sort of imposter?

If it was the second case, then I was even more confused than I was before. Not only were they expecting me to be arriving, but they suspected that others might try and interfere with my trip here. Also, which trip was he talking about? If he already knew who I was, then he could be talking about my trip to this dimension. Or, if I was the imposter that they believed that I was, then they might be trying to see if I thought they were talking about the trip from Jasper to the base. Of course, that would even be assuming that they knew that I came from a different dimension. While I wanted to think that they didn't, since I could just be an aspect of myself from this dimension, they seemed to already have more information than they should have.

"Surprising," I finally decided on as an answer. All of this, both trips, had been surprising to say the slagging least. Everything turned crazy and I couldn't figure out what the hell had caused this sort of reaction in the timeline. Most gods that I was familiar with who could have pulled this off didn't have the capabilities to effect change this widely just based on my travel here, and Lizzie's arrival here soon.

What I didn't expect was for Megatron to let out a chuckle. "Don't worry Paul, there is no doubt in our processors that you are truly you, and Primus of course. But, I can't give you answers until the rest of the leaders arrive." He then motioned toward me. "I can understand your frustration though. A lot of the information that I now have, including about you, was withheld from me even though I knew my allies were aware of something." He then shook his helm. "And they were honest with me once they told me. Unlike in your situation, mine was about trust and how I would react to the information. Given how events unfolded, I am now glad that they waited to tell me. However, the wait before that almost tore our alliance apart. I suspected they were plotting against me and I was infuriated. Of course, somebot was trying to manipulate me and I hadn't realized it until my allies set me straight." He then motioned to me. "I promise you, Paul, that we stand with you."

I wanted to respond to that, but that was a lot of information to unpack, though it didn't seem like nearly the amount I was going to get once these other leaders arrived. Something had changed back during the dawn of the war. Megatron wasn't manipulated. If it was anybot who was, it was Optimus…Orion back then. Megatron was angry about Optimus' manipulation and turning from him, his friend, but Megatron himself hadn't been manipulated in such a way that he was describing. What the frag? The list of gods who could have messed with reality this much was narrowing down even more and I was starting to have my suspicions as to who it was.

But, I had tried to contact him. Unicron, though, wouldn't even give me the time of solar, never mind even answering me about using one of his children to help my own. So, I had gone through with it since the god was being pouty. I didn't think he would interfere though, given that sending Lizzie to another dimension would be just the sort of chaos that he wanted. That he thrived for.

Of course, now that I thought about the situation that I was in, this was even better for the mech. The amount of chaos I was experiencing alone right now probably made the fragging god giddy. I would be having words with my younger brother once this was all settled. Fragging glitch. He couldn't be bothered to talk to me like a civilized god. Frag, even the gods that he had created had better communication between enemies. But now, the fragger was acting like a spoiled sparkling. And both of our children were paying for it.

The door behind the table opening caused me to glance up to see three of the four missing bots enter. Not to my surprise, the three bots that entered were ones that I had guessed upon during my trip to this location. Starscream glanced down at me and, to my slight annoyance, smirked, before moving to the end of the table next to Megatron. Fragger knew that I didn't know what was going on. He seemed to be fragging reveling in it.

On the other side of the center chair, Optimus sat down. At least he was still Prime. I could feel the Matrix of Leadership from here. That was a relief I hadn't known I needed until now. With all of the craziness that was going on around me, I was waiting for them to tell me that the Matrix somehow got destroyed. I think that might have done my spark in finally. But, at least Optimus looked guilty about something. I was hoping that it was my lack of information about all of this.

Lastly, was Alpha Trion. The ancient mech glanced toward me and bowed his helm slightly before sitting. Once he sat, he spoke to me. "Creator, my apologies for withholding information from you. However, we discussed this situation and found it best that we all be present when we informed you of what has happened before your arrival." Was Alpha Trion the reason that they knew who I was and that I was supposed to arrive? The mech wasn't normally very forthcoming with the notations that he was to make in the Covenant. However, this dimension seemed just crazy enough for him to be more open about it.

However, before I got my answers, a quick time check told me that Lizzie should be arriving in this dimension at any click…if I had even sent her into this dimension. Given the unwelcome greeting that the Autobots had given me upon my arrival, I didn't want her to experience that as well. While her support was more toward the Decepticons, she did trust some Autobots. She may not pick up on how things had changed here until it is too late. "Before any of my questions get answered, I need one of you to return to Jasper. A human who I brought with me should be arriving soon and I do not wish to think about what the Autobots could do to her." Lizzie had sacrificed so much to come here and change the future, the least I could do was make sure that she was here and safe with me.

Heavy pedesteps coming from behind the door the others had entered from caused me to glance up as said door opened. Immediately, I felt my eyes widen in shock. What…what was I looking at? I knew that bot, but how were they here? They didn't even exist in this dimension. Well, they shouldn't anyway. Technically they weren't even one of my creations. They were one of…,

"It's been a few million stellars. How've you been Paul?"

I promptly lost consciousness.

Paul: *dazed* You...you...I...HOW did this happen?

Authoress: *smirking* Because fate wasn't nearly as kind to you this time around in comparison to your other jumps.

Paul: *confused* What other jumps?

Authoress: Oh, this isn't the first time you have done this, nor will it be the last.

AN2: And here is the first chapter of Valor of One! I'm sure many of you have realized what has happened, somewhat. If you haven't, things will be made more clear once the next chapter starts. Forewarning, the next chapter will be changing location and we will find out more as to what has happened. To be honest, most of the rest of the story will be taking place away from Earth, if that is enough of a hint for you. Oh, I am so excited about this!

But, I shall keep my word and, instead of binging on just writing this story, I will update some of my other ones and post the prologues for the sequels of both Power of One and Resolve of One. They are not typed yet, but once they are you all will be treated to them. Of course, birthday requests will change my updating schedule so if there is a story that you want to be updated that is not on hiatus or completed, or not yet posted (looking at sequel stories) then that will give them priority on my writing (though they don't get posted until the birthday so if you do request something and see a different story being updated before your birthday, know that your chapter should be done and is just waiting for the birthday to arrive).

As with my other stories, here are the next two chapters in this new adventure!

Chapter 1: Awakening

Chapter 2: Changing Fate

Chapter 3: (find out next time!)

And that's all for now! If you would like, drop a review to either say hi or review the story! I'll take both! Hopefully, this story turns out just as well as Resolve did and allows me to progress even further as a writer. As I've said before, is a learning atmosphere. You don't have to be perfect with each piece you write. Just as long as you learn from your mistakes and grow from them. Until next time, though TTYL! *jamming to Soldier of Heaven by Sabaton*
