I STILL DONT OWN NOTHING

A/n:

Hello everyone!

First of all, to say that this is something that popped into my head and I decided to write it down. Most of you know that I'm a Morgan/Garcia person. But in this fic there is a third party in discord, Luke Alves. This is not a fic like the others I've written. I don't know who will be the chosen one. For now, I'm going to enjoy writing and let the muses do their work.

Thank you.

The noise had returned to the streets more than a year ago. Once again the sound of honking horns and coffee shops filling the city's auditory atmosphere.

Everything was back to normal.

After a global pandemic that had claimed millions of lives, humanity was reborn.

Penelope Garcia looked at herself in the reflection of the glass of that place. She too had learned a lesson. There was only one life. And every day that passed was a chapter that ended, with no option to go back.

Leaving BAU was hard at first, but she got used to it. She was able to overcome everything. After all, everyone she cared about ended up leaving.

That decision was a good one. She got a fresh start. Now she had a job where she didn't have to see dead bodies, a new house, new aspirations in life and a man who gave her all the affection she needed.

Someday you will have to take that step. You won't be alone forever.

Maybe JJ was right. Someday she would agree to be part of someone's story. But neither Kevin nor Sam, let alone Shane had been good experiences. And as the years went on, the more lazy she became about starting a relationship.

She was single. She was free. She owed no one any explanations. So why did she feel so dirty? Why was she unable to answer Luke's calls?

Her mouth drew a half smile. Too many questions with only one answer: Derek Morgan.

Even the thought of his name sent chills down the back of her neck.

It was wrong. He was probably still married. Not that she knew that for sure.

They hadn't talked much during that weekend in Miami. One of the conditions she had set for accepting the trip was not to talk about their current lives. Penelope didn't want to explain and she didn't want to know either.

They would just have sex. And that's what they did for two days. Sleep, fuck, eat, fuck again. And so it went on for 48 hours.

She couldn't tell anyone. Not even her best friend. JJ wasn't going to understand.

How could she explain that she needed to do that to move forward? How could she put words to a need that was eating away at her soul?

It had been too many years. Too many words, too much playing with fire. It was all a bit platonic. Maybe for him. For her it was always an unconsummated desire.

Something she never dared to try. She felt it too far out of her reach. She looked at him, as perfect as a Greek God. Then she looked at herself, as pathetic as ever. Penelope was convinced she had too many pounds and too little attitude.

But everything had changed. She felt powerful. A goddess of sensuality full of curves. A woman who could eat any man. Even a guy named Derek Morgan.

That night, she knew he would be there. She didn't know the reason but her intuition didn't usually fail her.

So she began her ritual. She wandered her honey-colored eyes over the reflection of her naked body in the mirror. You are perfect the way you are. You are a woman who deserves everything in life. You are worth so much, Penelope.

Her thoughts accompanied her to choose the most low-cut dress in her closet. A crimson piece was the one chosen, along with gold stilettos. She decided to let her silky blonde hair fall over her bare shoulders and part of her voluptuous chest.

Penelope could feel the hungry glances of some men on her. Maybe she loved herself too much now. She smiled. No, it was never enough.

"Woah, Penelope" JJ appeared through the door of that restaurant wearing a gorgeous blue dress to match her eyes. She looked her up and down "You look stunning, has Alvez seen you yet?"

She smiled slightly and shook her head. Although the reality was that he did see her. Luke had told her she looked beautiful. But she hadn't wanted to continue the conversation. No, not that night. She needed to vomit that feeling from the bottom of her soul. Maybe then there would be room for him.

"And Rossi? It's his retirement party and he's the last one to show up."

Penelope heard her friend complain but she was no longer listening. The owner of her baser passions had made an appearance. And he couldn't get any sexier.

The black suit fit his huge body like a glove. God, he was even more muscular than he had been four years ago.

"Morgan!"

Spencer Reid walked past them, straight toward his older brother. The two men melted into an embrace and JJ grabbed Penelope's hand. They both went to greet their old friend.

As soon as their gazes met, Penelope knew. His gesture had completely changed in tenths of a second. His open smile turned into a half-sideways grin that managed to send electric shocks to her crotch. She could notice how his pupils dilated inside his dark eyes.

"You look gorgeous, bab-" Derek closed his eyes for a few seconds "Penelope. You're the prettiest thing I've seen tonight."

Emily Prentiss looked at him with narrowed eyes.

"On behalf of the rest of the women, thank you very much."

Both friends laughed and for a moment, it seemed that everything remained the same. As if the years had not passed. As if nothing had changed. As if they were a family again.

Luke Alvez appeared behind Penelope and wrapped his left arm around her waist, pressing her against his hard body. She could feel his woody perfume invading her senses. She was also aware of the dueling looks between Luke and Derek, wordlessly challenging each other.

Emily grabbed Penelope by the arm and pulled her away from the group of friends.

"What the hell are you doing, Pen?" She whispered, holding a wine glass in her hand "What was that for?"

Penelope shrugged and pretended to know absolutely nothing.

"I don't know what you're talking about."

The brunette woman took a swig from her glass as she rolled her eyes upward.

"Please, I could feel you guys wanting to fuck right there."

She smiled but didn't say a word. Her friend had just confirmed her suspicions. It was not her imagination. He had devoured her with his eyes.

When an hour later she had him pushing her body wildly against the bathroom door, any doubts vanished.

She was still fascinated by the ease with which he managed to lift her feet off the ground with each thrust. His hands wrapped her legs around his waist, deepening each stroke.

Penelope didn't want to, but ended up digging her nails into his shoulders. Luckily, they both still had their clothes on. That was too much. Much better than she had ever imagined.

He buried his face in the curve of her neck, moistening her skin with kisses as he stifled his own moans there.

Thousands of sensations ran through her body. She had never felt so alive. Having that man between her legs was something she had to do before she died.

No sweetness, no tenderness or affection. Just unbridled sex. Just passion. Fire.

Penelope had never been with a married man, let alone been unfaithful. She had never been in a relationship so... She didn't even have an adjective to describe her thing with Derek. But it was instinctive, irrational, wild. She needed to satisfy her hunger. And she wasn't going to apologize for it.

It was never going to happen again. That was just a mirage in their lives. Now, they had accomplished what they should have done fourteen years ago. Now, they could get on with their lives.

"How long have you been here?"

There he stood in front of her, Luke and his dazzling smile.

"How did you know I was arriving today?"

Penelope gave him a hug and watched him carry her fuchsia suitcase. He was too much of a gentleman.

"JJ told me you were arriving today and I decided to come get you. I guess you'll be tired. But if you feel like it, we can go for lunch."

She looked at him tenderly. Luke was almost perfect. Penelope grabbed his free arm and gave him a light kiss on the cheek. He wasn't her boyfriend but he was certainly the sugar in her life.

He took it upon himself to pick up every broken piece and rebuild her heart. He was now her best friend. But should she be honest with him? Could he understand her weekend with Derek? Could he hear her truth?

Penelope sighed. No, she couldn't say anything to him. It didn't matter either. And that was something that might hurt him. The best thing to do was to keep that secret inside her heart. Forever. And move on with her own life.
