AN: So while probably the shortest fic I have posted I figured the world could use some upstead fluff right now. I'm really hoping they can start production soon so we can finally get the Upstead moments we all deserve. Might turn this into a series of one shots I'm not sure yet.

"So how's it going?" Vanessa asked as she sat down and Emerson Halstead climbed into her lap. The four year old loved her Aunty Nessa and was excited that she had come to the game. "Why is Danny sitting in the goal?"

"Apparently he decided after about five minutes that he did not like being the goalie." Hailey said as she pulled a Ziploc out of her bag. "Emmy, do you want an apple slice?"

"Yes, Mommy." Hailey handed her four-year-old two of the slices and felt Jay's hand sliding into the bag.

"Emmy, I think Daddy is trying to steal your apple slices."

"It's not stealing I bought them and cut them up." Jay countered as he put the slice in his mouth. "It's called Daddy tax."

"Danny, come on Buddy you gotta stand up when the ball comes near the goal." Hailey yelled to their six year old son.

"This is ridiculous just take him out of the goal." Jay mumbled as he sipped his coffee.

"But then we won't learn his lesson that you can't always get what you want." Hailey gently reminded her husband. "Also this is peewee soccer not the world cup. Their team name is the wombats for God's sake."

"Their team name is the what now?" Vanessa asked.

"Wombats, they dig boroughs Auntie Vanessa." Emmy piped up as she was climbing down from her lap to go back to Hailey.

"And just like that I'm ditched."

"Hails, did we pack the carrot sticks too?" Jay asked he started looking in the bag.

"Did you eat any breakfast this morning?" Hailey asked before her attention shifted back to the game. "And Danny just let them score a goal."

"So does it normally go this well?" Vanessa asked watching as the kids reset after the goal.

"This is more riveting than usual." Jay responded.

Once the game was over Jay grabbed Emmy as Hailey made sure she picked up the last of the stuff from the bench. Danny came running over.

"Aunt Vanessa you came!" The six year old ran over to Rojas.

"You going to handle this or am I?" Hailey asked. Both parents realized it was a moment to try and teach their son. Jay put Emmy down.

"Hey bud," Jay said as he crouched down so that he was eye level with his son. "What was that out there?"

"I don't like being goalie, it's not fun."

"But sometimes we have to do things in life that aren't fun."

"Not fair." Danny said as he kicked the patch of grass in front of him.

"I know but you can't let the team down like that just because you don't like your spot for the game."

"Ok."

"How about you tell coach you don't like being the goalie and ask politely if you could go back to defense?"

"All right Daddy."

"Yo she's standing right here." Jay heard Rojas seemingly say out of nowhere.

"Hey guys lets get home so we can finishing hanging out with Auntie Nessa.

Later that night after the kids were asleep Hailey was unloading the dishwasher as Jay walked in and stood next to her.

"Hey when we were at the game, do you know what happened that made Vanessa yell 'yo she's standing right here'?" He had been curious about that all afternoon.

"Two of the moms from the team walked by and one called made a comment about your ass while you were squatting down to Danny's level." Hailey said as she pulled the last plate out and shut the door.

Jay laughed and leaned in for a kiss. "So what do you think of my ass?"

"Are you serious right now?" Hailey laughed as he pulled away and started kissing down her neck.

"Just." Kiss "Making" kiss "Sure" kiss "You" kiss "still" kiss "like it."

"Yes Jay I still think you have a great ass."

"Mmm Good." Jay said as he picked Hailey up and she wrapped her legs around his waist. "Nine years of marriage and we still got it"
"Shut up." Hailey laughed. Her laughter continued as Jay carried her back to their bedroom.
