(AN) Author's Notes: Hello, one and all to my dearest watchers and readers it has been eight long years since I last posted anything on my account here. I assure you that I am back and that I haven't forgotten of keeping my account here open and active.

I've just been in an eight-long year stump or stand still since I completed my first work back in 2014. I'm back but I'm not currently working on anything Trinity Blood-related. Do not worry I will get back to promising as I did the continuation or sequel for my first story but I'm at a stump right now so it's currently on Hiatus until further notice. My first co-writer and co-partner dragonwriter24cmf the understands of my current writers stump and is still patiently waiting after all this time for me to give her what I could get completed for the sequel to my first story she's hoping I will send her something soon. But right now I'm still taking a break and she too is also a busy bee when it comes to uploading a lot of her leisure stories on this website so if you have her as well on your watch list I'm pretty sure you'll understand.

But don't worry we are still co-writing partners in crime when it comes to my other work-in-progress work when it's Trinity blood-related she still has some use in the groove to still continue helping me create my sequel for so when I get more of the groove and inspiration back you guys will be updated on the current progress of it if you have me added into your account alerts you'll know right away when I upload something new. Just add my user name not my story unless you really like it and you'll know right away when I upload anything new regardless of whatever story I have posted presently on my account.

I hope everyone's been doing well, especially during the last grueling three years from the pandemic of covid-19. Sadly during the pandemic, I haven't had much of a good three years to make a long story short this March I just lost my mother who passed away unexpectedly not to anything covid-19 related mind you. I'm still mourning the loss and missing the company of my mother. I don't think even after this year I'm ever going to get over her not being around anymore but what can I do?

Now I only have one remaining relative left which is my sick uncle so I can only hope he his remaining time on this Earth will be much better than what my mother's was. He has his own health problems.

So right now I'm currently in the groove and mood of doing a labyrinth story. If any of you are familiar with the 1986 fantasy musical film that starred the teenage Jennifer Connelly and the late David Bowie then I don't think I need to say more about who the main characters from the movie will be starring in this story ^^. I also want to introduce my newest and second co-partner in writing for at least this new Labyrinth story her name who you probably are familiar with is ElauraGrave and she currently has her own still being updated Labyrinth story. I really liked the first work that she did she did very good detail on everything she could and kept both Sarah and Jareth characters well the same as they were to a degree in the movie. If there's one thing I cannot stand whether it's from books/novels, movies cartoons, animes or mangas is when the main characters that were created for the series a story is when they become out of character or as it's known on the fan fiction community (OOC).

I want to give some warning before people start to notice and get confused as you know quite a few comic issues came out between the mid-2015 to 2017 of Labyrinth showing different fictional aspects of the different cannon characters' points of view or mid-Little Adventures. I did read some pages of the manga called to return to Labyrinth and I will be taking a few characters and small tidbits from the manga although I will not include everything from the manga there are only a few characters and tidbits I want to keep. I didn't read all of the manga only few chapters and they were some things that I didn't care for from the manga were those god-awful pajamas that the Goblin King wears when he has a nightmare reoccurring events at the end of the movie of Sarah beating him.

Second I was kind of surprised to see from the manga that the Goblin King has been left bare handed showing him with claws or long nails that seem to be painted black of course being some type of fair Folk/Fae Jareth is to be made out of it was to remind the fans and readers that the goblin isn't really human. Yes he has human in appearance but he's some type of Magician/sorcerer King he doesn't look anything like his goblin subjects but he is some type of fae. His nails reminded me something of InuYasha or Sesshomaru but it's up for debate whether or not I and my co-partner will even show him bare-handed in the movie Jareth's hands was always shown gloved up regardless of his attire. I don't know whether or not we will show him bare-handed not that it's a big thing but I'll have to wait and see.

I did read a few Labyrinth comic issues that came out but I'll tell you one thing that I did not like from one comic issue I detested that was called Labyrinth coronation. I apologize if I upset any fans who care to read this comic issue which you can read free online but I did not care for the detailed background that explains Jareth's origins in that issue. I read all the chapters to that issue that was supposed to be an attempt to explain the Goblin King's origins and how we came to be the goblin king. I know there was another novel in the works that got cancelled that would have had a better explanation of how he became the Goblin King but the one from that Labyrinth coronation comic issue I did not care for. I will not use anything from that issue if I do it might be secondary or something in the background but nothing of great importance. There will be some characters from the manga that will be taken into use but I will mention what I will use some for in my author's notes at the end of this chapter. I don't want to make this too much of a long-winded author's note when everyone is wanting to read the beginning of the first chapter so let's get going ^^.

Chapter 1: Once upon a Time…

Once upon a time, there was a beautiful young girl whose stepmother always made her stay home with the baby. And the baby was a spoiled child, and he wanted everything for himself, and the young girl was practically a slave.

In a matter of speaking.

But you know that already, don't you?

Yes, the fairytale isn't entirely true, but reality is about perspective. There was a girl and a stepmother and a baby. The baby was indeed spoiled—babies are supposed to be spoiled—but, the girl was no slave.

She was strong of will and kind of heart. She was fire and defiance and all things brave. However, it was her perspective from which the fairytale was told.

The girl did have to stay home with the child; that much is true. Just a child herself, she would've rather played in the park or made believe with her toys and her costumes. But, what no one knew was that the king of the goblins had fallen in love with the girl, and he had given her certain powers.

"Say your right words," the goblins said, "and we'll take the baby to the Goblin City, and you will be free."

And so, the girl wished her brother away.

The goblins took him, and the king appeared. She pleaded with him to give the babe back, but what's said is said. He was generous—another matter of perspective—and gave her thirteen hours in which to reach the castle beyond the Goblin City at the center of the Labyrinth. There her brother awaited her, and there she would rescue him.

First, she had to face many trials, both trials of the world and trials of the heart. She ran the Labyrinth, seeing through its tricks and answering its riddles. She escaped the oubliette and the dreadful, metal machine called The Cleaners. She took the wisdom of the Wiseman and soon learned that life isn't fair, but that's just the way it is. She befriended a dwarf, rescued a beast, and bested a brave knight. She escaped the Fireys and navigated the Bog of Eternal Stench. She even faced her deepest desires and darkest dreams, yet refused them, choosing what is right over what is easy. In her selflessness, she gave up the dreams she thought she wanted, learning that what you want is not always healthy or right. She forgave, she fought a goblin battle, and—perhaps the most important trial she overcame—she changed her perspective.

"Look what I am offering," the goblin king had said, summoning a crystal. "Your dreams. Just let me rule you, and you can have everything you want."

"My will is as strong as yours and my kingdom as great," she rebuked him.

"Just fear me, love me, do as I say, and I will be your slave."

"What were the right words?" she thought. Looking up, she gazed into the pleading eyes of her adversary.

"You have no power over me."

Sarah Williams returned home a hero. But, the adventures of the girl who rejected the goblin king—despite this—have just begun…

Sarah Williams stood in front of her dresser, holding up a dark green blouse with a deep V-neckline. She stepped left to observe herself in the mirror and held it up against her torso; she was already wearing a pastel blue, long-sleeved shirt with a higher collar that wouldn't show so much cleavage. Still, she was considering the more "grown up," feminine top Irene had gifted her.

She crinkled her nose, sighed, and threw the shirt back into the open drawer; she was much more comfortable with simple barrettes in her hair and a plain white skirt than the chunky jewelry and skin-tight jeans everyone was wearing these days.

No one can blame you…

Unseen and unbeknownst to Sarah, the goblin king watched her from the window pane.

for walking away.

If she could see him, he would've appeared as no more than a reflection. Sarah sat down at her vanity mirror and applied mascara. Rather than choosing one of the many tubes of lipstick crammed into her vanity drawer, she chose a subtle lip-gloss that matched her shirt. Jareth's apparition flitted from the window to the mirror. His eyes of two different colors looked out at her with longing. Sarah looked down at her flip phone expectantly. Would someone text?

Too much rejection…

She didn't care. Who on earth would text her? Drama club and books, that's all the friends she needed,.

no love injection.

She quickly slung her backpack over her shoulder and headed for the hallway. The beat of an unheard drum intensified and a steady bassline walked along. The goblin king jumped from the mirror into the cover of Where the Wild Things Are, making his way across the illustrations of several book-covers as he followed Sarah out the door. Jareth's singing was sonorous and true—but no one in the Aboveground could hear the ringing bells or echoing electric guitar.

Life can't be easy

It's not always swell

Don't tell me truth hurts little girl

Sarah took one last look at herself in the bathroom mirror, and the goblin king looked back. She turned to leave, cracking her elbow on the sink.

"Ow!"

'Cause it hurts like hell…

Sarah hurried downstairs and grabbed a piece of toast from the breakfast table. Out from the radio on the kitchen counter, Jareth floated on a stream of music he could not hear over his own. He hovered, invisible to mortal eyes, just above Sarah's head as she took a bite of toast and read the morning paper over her father's shoulder. Nothing but bad news and political unrest…

But down in the Underground

You'll find someone true

Down in the Underground…

Sarah dashed out the door with a brief goodbye and grabbed her bike from the garage. Chalk drawings from her and Toby peppered the sidewalk; a new figure joined their stick men and women, one like a crudely drawn barn owl…

Sarah pedaled off the sidewalk and onto the asphalt, and the chalk owl "flew" along the concrete in parallel.

A land serene

A crystal moon.

Poof! The chalk owl burst from the sidewalk into the air, changing its 2D form to a real, feathered barn owl. Sarah rode from the suburbs into town. The chilly New England air was crip all season round, and she took deep, satisfying breaths as the wind whipped through her hair. In a cloud of glitter, the owl jumped into an appliance store's front window, morphing into a reflection of the goblin king's humanoid form. He flew through several storefronts' glass facades, from an appliance shop to a bakery, from a grocery store to a juice bar; he followed Sarah, the music swelling.

It's only forever,

Not long at all…

Sarah was pedaling faster now. She merged onto on a main road at the outskirts of town. After the last store at the end of the street, Jareth projected himself onto a billboard. Sarah didn't notice the pale man with a wild mane of hair staring out of a Folger's billboard, his mouth moving along to unheard music while holding a steaming cup of coffee.

That's Underground,

Underground…

She was at her school now and chained her bike with the tens of others. Jareth peered out of the main entrance's glass doors. His whole figure could be seen, from his black leather boots and gray leggings to his black leather gloves and white ruffled shirt. Sarah wrapped her fingers around the door handle; she hesitated. Jareth's apparition wrapped his fingers around hers. She was staring straight at him, as if she could sense him….

Sarah opened the door abruptly and walked through, as if she were not being followed by the goblin king, as if it were another normal day at school.

Daddy DADDY get me out of here!

Jareth burst from the door, causing them to swing open as if blown by a gust of wind. He flew into the trophy case, his spectre dancing between gold, silver, and bronze figures that hoisted basket balls, kicked soccer balls, and threw footballs. The lights flickered. No one could see the figures dancing to the music and tossing the little orbs as if they were real.

Heard about a place today

I, I'm Underground

Sarah was making her way through the crowd, bumping against backpacks carelessly swung about. Jareth's image flitted in and out of the teacher portraits that lined the hallways; his eccentric garb amid pant-suits and button-ups was as out of place as a fox in a henhouse.

Nothing ever hurts again…

Sarah entered her homeroom and shut the door behind her. Jareth jumped from a nearby picture into the door's window. He watched his beloved sit down. Other kids were chatting or joking with each other, but Sarah simply pulled a book from her bag and read silently. Was she lonely? He was lonely without her. He floated out of the window and into the hallway, corporealizing and looking once more into the classroom with a yearning that longed to be satisfied.

He sang, this time letting his voice be heard in the mortal world.

Nothing ever hurts again…

But, the first bell had already rung, and the hallway was empty; the goblin king was alone.

New England, one year after Sarah Williams ran the Labyrinth.

Sarah bounced Toby on her hip. A bit more than two years old, he was getting too big to be handled like a baby. But, Sarah knew how much he liked being held by his big sister.

"Thanks for watching Toby, honey. Have a good evening, and we'll be back before midnight."

Robert Williams gave his daughter a quick kiss on the forehead, and her stepmother Irene followed suit.

A year ago, Sarah would've complained about staying home with the baby; now, she didn't mind so much. Her parents were grateful—especially her stepmother—but, Irene would still chide that Sarah needed to "get out." She wanted Sarah to go on dates. Be sociable. It wasn't that Sarah didn't go out, it just wasn't "out" in the way Irene thought was normal for a seventeen year-old girl. Sarah volunteered as a story-teller at her local elementary school. When her high school classes ended, she biked on over to tell stories for the kindergarten and first-graders; they adored Sarah. Their teachers were grateful, because the children would be on their best behavior knowing they would be rewarded by a story from "Miss Sarah." Miss Sarah rarely read from a book; her imagination was better than most Disney books or fairytales. The students especially loved the stories that took place in the Goblin Kingdom…

The Goblin Kingdom. Sarah spent evening after evening at the library reading all about fairytales. These days she preferred the real fairytales, the raw stories of the Brothers Grimm, Hans Christian Anderson, or Aesop. Running the Labyrinth had matured her, and the Disney-fied, sugarcoated stories that always contained true love's kiss and a happy ending were no longer to her taste. She read mythology, history, and research articles on anything that had to do with the Fae or goblins. She didn't know what she was searching for, or even what she would do with the knowledge she acquired; she was trying to answer one question:

What happened one year ago?

Sarah Williams had forgotten the Labyrinth. Or almost forgotten. Sarah thought she had dreamed it all. Her stepmom and dad would've sent her to a psych ward if she had told them what had really happened, and Toby was too young to comprehend or remember what had transpired over those almost-thirteen hours, so she never talked about it. She no longer spoke with her friends Hoggle, Ludo, and Didymus like she had for a few short months after defeating the Goblin King, yet she had a constant nagging in the back of her mind that she was forgetting to call someone. She could picture the Labyrinth and the Castle Beyond the Goblin City in her mind, but she thought they were a creation of her imagination. Still, she wondered, could it all have been real?

Every once and a while a Professor of Folk and Fairy Tales, Harold Matherton, visited the library.

"Reading about the Tuatha de Danaan, huh?" a kindly older gentleman had asked one afternoon.

"I'm looking for the first mention of fairies in history," replied Sarah with five books sprawled out in front of her. Empty juice boxes and granola bar wrappers littered the table, evidence that Sarah had been engrossed in an intense session of reading. Harold looked like he was a historian—he smelled like it too, with the faint scent of old books and strong scent of fresh coffee clinging to every fiber of his clothes. He had oversized glasses a decade out of fashion and gray, thinning hair. His seemingly permanent five o'clock shadow looked as though it had never seen a close shave, and the rings under his eyes looked as though they had never known a full night's sleep—not that his disposition would ever betray that fact. He was warm and cheerful. He spoke slowly and deliberately, and he was open to any question Sarah might have.

"Thirteenth century," he had said. "That's when they were first mentioned. They first appeared in writings by an English historian, but soon after you can find mention of fairies across the whole of the UK. If fairies are anywhere, they're there."

Sarah smiled up at him. "Thank you. I'm Sarah, Sarah Williams."

And so, an unlikely friendship was formed. Dr. Matherton taught many classes in the history departments of both Harvard and Boston U, such as "History of the Fair Folk," "Bestiary of Fairytale Creatures," and

"Cultural Significance of Folk and Fairy Tales in the Middle Ages." Being a professor of Folk and Fairy Tales made him a bit of a unicorn, to use a very appropriate comparison, in the academic world. While there were several historians on medieval times and the Renaissance, there were few who studied the sociological impacts and historic significance of cryptozoology specific to fairytales and folklore. Harold was met with as much respect as he was with contempt.

They never planned their meetings, but Sarah was happy when Harold would show up at the end of each month. He often had interesting stories of new connections he drew between different mythologies and fairytales, or of new artifacts unearthed in the rolling hills of Great Britain or the flat planes of western USA. Between Harold and books, Sarah learned about the many supposed powers of Fae and fairies. She learned the motivations—or lack thereof—of goblins and gnomes and such creatures. Still, no matter how much she learned, she didn't feel quite satisfied. Something was missing, but what?

Luckily, she had drama club to keep her interests from turning into an obsession. Sarah wasn't quite sure what she wanted to do after high school, but she knew one thing: she liked acting. She was the most dedicated and enthusiastic in the club. Most kids did it for fun, but she could see herself pursuing a career in acting—though she resented the thought of being like her mother. Sarah had mixed feelings about the woman; she was her mother, but she still left. She was the famous actress Linda Williams who was the star of Sarah's scrapbooks, but she still left. When she thought of her mother, she rubbed the naked finger where a ring once sat. Sarah didn't remember that she had traded it to the Wiseman in exchange for some information, but she did remember that her mother had gifted her that ring, and it was the only thing of Linda's she kept; she was sad to have lost it.

"Sarah? Sarah!" her drama teacher Ms. Haversham broke into her thoughts.

"Yes?" asked Sarah quizzically, still rubbing her finger.

"It's your line."

It was now another Friday night spent at drama club, much to Irene's disdain. She should be at the mall. Or the movies. Or even a party, for goodness' sake. But, Sarah would much rather be reading lines across from her peers. They weren't exactly friends, per se, but they were all pretty nice to her, and they threw a big celebration at the end of every year. That was social, right? And Sarah was good at acting. Or at least, she was good when she wasn't distracted. Somewhere far away, the Goblin King chuckled. He stared at the girl through one of his crystal balls that floated precariously over his right palm.

"And what has got you so distracted, pet?" he asked out loud. He hoped she was thinking of him. Of them even. How dare she have the nerve to forget it all?

Truthfully, Sarah hadn't been thinking about fairies or goblins, or even her mother or acting; she had been asked on her first date. Earlier that day, as she tidied up her locker after classes and packed her backpack, Tom Dreyfus from her homeroom had sauntered up to her.

"Hey, Sarah, how was your day?"

It took her a split second to register that one of the most popular boys in school—not that she cared—was talking to her.

"Oh, Tom, hey. It was alright, thanks. How was yours?" Tom leaned against the locker next to hers, carefree and easygoing as ever.

"Coulda been worse. But I think this day is about to get better," he said with a smirk. Sarah raised her eyebrows, obviously not amused by his candor; Tom noticed. He cleared his throat and stood up straight.

"How would you like to go on a date with me next Saturday?"

Sarah was speechless. A date? Like, with a boy?

"I have a lot of homework to do."

"C'mon, you never go out much. You're elusive," he said as if being elusive was an attractive quality. "It's just one day, and it's just dinner. It doesn't even have to be a 'date' date. It can be a trial date. And if this goes well, we can go on a real date."

"I don't know…" she countered.

"One date. If it doesn't go well, it's just one date. And you'll have all week to decide if you want to say no."

Yes, there was that. They had never really talked or gotten to know each other—not that Sarah wouldn't want that. Tom was pretty good looking. He had dark brown tresses and even darker brown eyes. Which sport did he play again?

"Alright," she said with a gentle smile. The guy deserved at least a chance, right? And you can't judge a book by its very preppy and jock-like cover.

"Then it's a date," he said with a grin.

Sarah's focus returned to drama class. "Sorry, Miss Haversham. Where were we?"

(AN) Author's Notes: A few things I wanna clear up and explained in the chapter since there might be a few readers who are confused.

* The opening musical scenario of chapter one was heavily inspired by the opening scenario or music scenario from the anime movie called Paprika. If anyone has watched the movie paprika which is quite unique and amazing movie you get an idea of how I described it with the familiar song from the movie added which is the Labyrinth mind you of how the story starts.

Despite what the rules are on this website says no song fanfics allowed it can't be a labyrinth fan fiction if you cannot add a few musical numbers or songs remember the movie was a musical fantasy and there were quite a few musical numbers that were sung by the antagonist the goblin King. I'm well aware of the rules on this website that it's very taboo now to make any chapters or story with songs fiction. This had gotten flamed has been trolled in the past by artists as well as authors on certain songs being put in but it can't be helped I still see a lot of songs, put in many new and old stories all over this website.

Now to honest I am planning to add songs in a few chapters every now and then I'll do it not full-length. I would appreciate it although it is up to the readers and commenters in question if there would be no trouble added and not to report this to this fanfiction website managers. If I'm not adding a full-length song into any chapter of my story it cannot be considered by any means a songfic. A songfic for me is when almost every chapter of a fan fiction has a song in it regardless. There are loopholes in how you can avoid this especially on this website if you're creative and use your head. If people can reduce repetitive quotes from a movies or a novels or any other place that's allowed or added in a fanfiction chapter then the same can be said for an incomplete song or a few verses of the lyrics added in a chapter that can't be considered practical moderation a songfic. There are still writers today that are willing to take the risk of adding at least a tidbit of any lyrics of an iconic song in their story as long as the story itself and in every chapter doesn't contain a musical number or song I don't think there will be any harm in the future at least with my work but if there is I'll know what I'll need to do.

I think it's safe to say as long as I'm not adding a complete song in each and every chapter of the story it cannot be considered officially a song fan fiction. So I'm going to take the risk if I find any of the chapters not fully loading or being removed forcefully by the owners of this site. I might have to take the secondary measures of making another account at a rival fan fiction site just so I can freely upload the complete content of everything of this story. I will not have my newest story become blocked or removed because of nitpicking people!

* As anyone can see I do have original characters (OC's) that both appear to as minor to major in the story some will show up more quickly than others but make no mistake I do have key point original characters that have more importance in the story. My minor Oc that was introduced so far was Prof. Harold Mathertonand Tom is of copyright to me and my co-partner ElauraGrave. I do hope no one decides to borrow or take any original characters that I make and decide to add it to their own stories without getting my exclusive permission!

I will be very unhappy and annoyed if I find out or be accused of taking something that was rightfully mine and created to begin with. The same holds true for any objects or any made-up locations or things that I have tried my hardest to make up on my own yes I probably will be borrowing some more than used for once highlighted and well-known things from certain types of Faerie folk mythology Celtic or Irish mythology but it depends. Their creation alone along with their background along with any other original characters are hard work and made by me and my co-partner know nobody else is allowed to just help themselves to anything that they see on someone's well hard work fanfiction story without at least having the decency to ask and see if we are willing to lend it to them and we also expect to be credited so please do not even think of taking or borrowing anything that was originally created or made to this story as your own if you did not get any consent from me you are not permitted to use it and if I find out that you are using it illegally without our permission trust me I will not back down I will not back down and I will content until you remove it from your story.

Give credit where credit is due otherwise you'll be accused of copyright infringement!

* Another small tidbit I want to make clear in general to the readers and public fan reading audience that are still my account. I want you all to keep something in mind if you are respectable and understanding people. Kindly understand that the updates will not always be frequent they will not always be quick.

I have another new co-partner and just like with my other co-partner we take our time. We have lives outside of writing fan fiction for fun and leisure. And those priorities outside of doing fan fiction will always come first. This is just a leisure activity. This is not something we're being paid to do or doing professionally. And I'm sure that even if we were doing it professionally we would kindly appreciate it for both anonymous commenters and non-anonymous commenters alike to respect the following: DO NOT bully nor RUSH me and my co-writer into faster updates is very taboo and very unsightly.

I've had the experience in the past with the first story I posted eight years ago with many uncivilized and bullish commenters losing patience with how long I update my story. They didn't want to get the message that things can't be rushed and they weren't respectable and understanding if I could I would erase or block their messages but I made the mistake of allowing anonymous commenters to post they didn't even have the brass to at least leave their email information so that I can so that I or my co-partner can kindly and diplomatically explain why we can't always be frequently updating our fan fiction works. So to all of those that are still watching my account or have added me recently to their alerts respect how long it takes for both me and my co-partner to update chapters my co-partner, ElauraGrave has her own labyrinth story she still working on updating when she can in due time and she takes what she can get out of her limited free time and free will to help me update mine.

She was very eager and enthusiastic when I asked her to be my co-partner to help me with the story she likes what I have planned for the story plot its characters and so on if she didn't I wouldn't be having her helping me with the story being posted as quickly as it is right now. So I'm very thankful and appreciative of her taking her time and her love for the movie and its plot and characters to help me with my own newest story I've just recently made. My co-partner just like my other one is also my beta, editor and so on if anybody out there has co-written a story with any other writer on this account or elsewhere they could clearly understand where I'm coming from by saying this. The old saying says it takes two to dance/or tango some can say it can apply to making a story whether professionally or for leisure you usually need more than one set of Helping Hands (no pun intended) to help you make it through. So if anyone here feels that they have the right to intimidate, bully or rush other people online into uploading their fan fiction works then kindly look elsewhere. You will not find that tolerance accepted here! Especially on my account. If I have to I will contact the website owners of this site to let them know of any harassment or online bullying I will receive while updating this new story of mine.

* Now to make something clear here I graduated from a regular public high school only up to grade 11 twenty years ago.

Now in the movies, novelization/novels and other books that gave more juicy details about the characters and other things that were not explained or explored in the movie Sarah Williams age was 16 and she was in the drama club. If anyone has spoilers or knows of the spoilers for these tidbits of information they can see where I'm going with this. I want to keep the adventures that Sarah Williams has happened in the story while she was still an adolescent or teenager. Now Sarah's still in high school. In America, the United States there are quite a few public high schools or even private ones that have an educational system for teenagers going up to grade twelve. The events of the movie at least in my story take place one year after. So Sarah is currently the age seventeen and she's still in high school and she has at least one more year to go before she graduates. A lot of the adventures that will happen in the story will take place while Sarah still is a teenager.

Now obviously I have read quite a few number ofLabyrinth stories once that caught my eye. I have seen a lot of were Sarah Williams a little bit older after the adventures of the movie either when she starting out as a freshman college student or a few years down the road in which is a fully grown adult. There are always different variants of this of a more grown-up Sarah Williams re-experiencing her adventures to a degree back to the Labyrinth or for the Goblin King waits until Sarah's of a more mature age to come back for her. It varies with the writers on this website. For me, I would prefer to keep Sarah's Adventures or at least this part of them while she's still a teenager we all have to grow up some time but it's good to explain at least the Gap that happens after the movie. You never know if Sarah ever forgets or doesn't forget the adventure she had at 16 I don't think that would be something anyone can quickly rub off and say it was just a dream or a figment of their imagination.

As anyone could tell in the first chapter Sarah Williams is trying to recall if everything she experienced in the movie was really a dream or not as you can tell she partly starting to forget everything.

Up until when I re-watched the movie recently I was quite saddened by looking up about the adventures or the experience Sarah William's character had in the movie this is what Jim Henson and his team along had to say. Everything that happened in the movie that Sarah has experienced was nothing more than a dream. I'm pretty sure people who've looked up the information about the experience Sarah had in The Labyrinth do find what I'm saying is true. The late Jim Henson who was part of creating the movie said that everything that happened in the movie Sarah experienced with nothing more than a dream. The movie itself was a somewhat Coming of Age story for Sarah.

I was a bit saddened by this because I thought Sarah like much female lead heroine from a movie or book had once in a lifetime of magical adventure experience but it seems that according to what Jim Henson has been saying Sarah practically in a way made this all up. I guess to deal with all the unhappy changes she was having with her father's remarriage missing her biological mother not having to have a step-sibling or half-sibling she never wanted all of her father's attention going toward her new stepmother and baby half-brother so on and so forth. Sarah also probably didn't want to experience her except the change at the time that life wouldn't always be fair she's probably trying to cope her way psychologically with all the changes she wasn't willing the time being willing to accept.

Many fans have created their speculation or own explanation of the movie on YouTube there were some that I found quite interesting and true on their part while others weren't that great summery. They also showed some insights that weren't shown in some documentaries that were done by Jim Henson about what happens during the production after the movie so on and so forth so it was quite interesting to see but at the same time, it was quite sad and thought it was admitted that everything Sarah experience with nothing but a dream something made up from her mind. I guess you could say it's similar to how Alice from Alice in Wonderland experienced everything in the first book I mean Lewis Carroll if I recall correctly even said that Alice still wonders whether or not everything she experienced in Wonderland was a dream I never watched or read Alice Through the Looking Glass but it has a similar concept as to whether or not the main female lead experienced everything is real or was it something made up in her mind or did she dream it up. If everyone were to recall all the more familiar items in Sarah's bedroom when meeting Hoggle. sir Didymus. Ludo, the Labyrinth the fiery she has plushies or some type of item that resembles one of the main or sub-main characters she even had a similar statue of the Goblin King on her dresser drawer. So to be precise Sarah probably did dream or imagined what the Goblin King looks like. And if anyone has read the tipping information on explained what the movie was being made about its sort of a coming-of-age thing with certain characters taking physical form to represent Sarah from growing up from immaturity or adolescence it's a sort of adulthood one could say.

In the Return to Labyrinth Manga, grown-up Sarah even admitted when she was a teenager her favourite play which was a small little red book called The Labyrinth she said she had a crush on The Goblin King's character. Whether or not this is the case currently and presently for the Goblin King that Sarah remembers since he has yet to be explained officially. I want to leave just as much mystery and ambiguity that was left in the movie as I can for a time being in my story. Of course, many plot holes and question marks will be answered but all in due time.

Now the way the Goblin King's origins were portrayed in the comic book issue Labyrinth: Coronation I simply detested it and disliked it with a bad cyber taste in my mouth. I will not accept that version of the goblin king's origins. Now there was a cancelled graphic novel that was supposed to be more realistic and believable in explaining how Jareth became the monarch of the Goblins but from what I was told and heard on the internet grapevine it got discontinued or cancelled before any real production could be done on it.

I would like to hear what people thought of chapter 1. I am going to post chapter 2 asap so you'll forgive me for being a little impatient and not wanting to wait and see how many people will reply or comment back on chapter one. But once I'm done posting one more chapter I'll leave the rest for another time to update. I plan to maybe updater upload if I can when I'm free maybe one to two new chapters every week or every so many week or days right now there are only a handful of drafts that were completed during the remaining part of the summer holiday but I don't want to be uploading too many at once or they will just be more demand for more updates when there's nothing left in stock for me to post for the time being. So take care love to hear your feedback.

TTFN.
