Okay, I'm back with the revised version of GATE: When worlds collide!

Very sorry for the quality of the half-end of the original one. I will try to rebuild everything and take it slower in this revised story.

Also, for the ones who are new: I do not own GATE or any other known stories in here, they belong to their respective owners. My OCs are created by myself, though.

So, let's restart the world again!

Okay guys, since you know this is a GATE crossover fiction, and most of said fictions' writers would start by telling the situation of the place getting involved in it. Well, by a rare chance, I will include myself in the group as well.

So, what to say about the world… right, this would be good enough.

Gamindustri of Hyperdimension, a world where Goddesses exist among the people. Its landmasses… well, it's a little complicated. They were once floating on the air, with Celestia directly above it. However, after the Corrupted Witch, Arfoire, used the last of her power to destroy Celestia's connection to the landmasses, they descended down to the surface of the planet they were on, and then merged themselves so they wouldn't strand out of places.

After a year, from Gamindustri Graveyard, Arfoire's body, which is possessed by Deity of Sins from the further past, was resurrected by an organization known as ASIC. They had successfully defeated the current CPUs and captured them for three years. However, before it could destroy Gamindustri, the young CPUs Candidates managed to free their sisters with the help of a CPU with his children and Histoire from alternative Gamindustri where DoS successfully eradicated all lives. With combined force, they also managed to force DoS out of Arfoire's body and purify her back to her past CPU state in the progress. During the time, a CPU Candidate is born in Leanbox as well.

After it, the new CPU offered to create a new nation on top of Gamindustri Graveyard, with the purpose of not to gain Share and to compete with other CPUs, but to solely on improving technology only related to defending Gamindustri against any threats and providing needs for the people. The original CPUs agreed, and thus Research Land (lame name, I know) was created.

A few months later, the CPUs of Planeptune and Research Land were pulled into a parallel dimension, Ultradimension. And… well, it's really the same with Re;birth 3, so I will cut it short.

A year after that, the purple Goddesses were pulled into Zero Dimension and found out the sealed Goddess, Uzume Tennouboshi, has been corrupted by her own hatred, and the corruption in the form of Kurome Ankokuboshi planned to merge two dimensions into once. Obviously, the girl was stopped by the CPUs and the conscious of Uzume, but Kurome was forgiven after she realized her mistakes. Also the original Uzume was also released from her eternal sleep and… Well, let's not spoil that one, yet.

About ten years have passed after that point… and everything goes wild again.

Location: Gamindustri. Hyperdimension. Research Land

Time: 9:00. Date: August 20th, 20XX.

"HEYO! Is Kuro here yet?" The happy-go-lucky goddess of Planeptune shouts up just at the moment she enters into Research Land's Basilicom.

"It's just in the morning, Neptune. I don't want another migraine so soon." From the reception table, a person with a cup of coffee in his hand replies back tiredly. He looks like an average twenty-year-old guy to you, with short black hair and same color eyes behind his glasses. He wears a white lab coat over his white shirt, black jeans with shoes. In his left hand, there are three rings on his middle fingers, one of them is a sapphire ring in his middle while two white rings are on the other fingers. His eyes are half-closed, showing how tired he is. "And why are you here? I thought the event is at the other end of the nation?"

"Aw come on! It's no fun without you!" The goddess replies and walks to him. "Let's go! Everyone's waiting for you!"

"Maybe later. I'm going to take care of some paperwork before I join…"

"Leave that to your secretaries!" Starting to climb on his back, she wraps her arms around his neck so she wouldn't fall out and starts nudging his face with her own. "We won't do anything embarrassing you, I promise!"

"Yeah, that's so reassuring…" Kuro sarcastically says back.

"We will help you with those papers today, Kuro. You can join with the others." The two then see a human-sized Histoire walking to them with a warm smile.

"*Sigh* They are NOT Gamindustri's papers, so you might not be able to help." The CPU of Research Land takes a sip from his coffee cup before responds.

By the way, I just described situations IN Gamindustri, not in OTHER universe *wink* *wink*.

"Hey, that's why secretaries exist! Just give them some hints and they will do their jobs!"

Glaring at the girl's pouty face, Kuro finally admits his defeat. "Fine. Give me a moment."

"YES! Haha! Score one for me!" Jumping off his back, Neptune raises up her fingers with a V letter for her victory. Seeing the girl's enthusiasm causes Kuro to shake his head, but a clear smile dons on his face as he uses his free hand to pull out his phone and starts calling for the people in charge of the papers.

"Neptune, have you done your own?" The Oracle of the destroyed future then asks the goddess of Planeptune. "Or you just pushed it to Nepgear?"

"Oh come on Big Histy!" Neptune immediately whines. "I'm not the same with the original, okay? I know what happened if I slack off too much!"

"You did avoid work sometimes…"

"HEY! I'm not that workaholic like Noire!" She then changes the subject: "Hey, what did Kuro do last night that made him look like that?"

Histoire, or Big Histy, sighs. "It's his day of the month."

Neptune's mind turns dirty for a second, but it's cleared out when she remembers who they're talking about. "Oh… so, how many times?"

"At least a thousand." Neptune grimaces when she hears the number. "Thankfully the room's soundproofed, otherwise the whole nation might hear his screams all the night."

"Geez… well, then we must force him to relax!" Neptune then changes her tune to normal to lighten the mood.

"That… is not how it works." Histoire denies, but she also has a smile on her face.

The goddess then sees Kuro starting to pocket his phone away. She immediately pulls his sleeves and gets him out of the Basilicom. "Alright! Let's have all the fun today!"

"Good luck you two." Histoire says her goodbye to them. She receives a thumb up from Neptune, and a tired nod from Kuro. Once they're out of views, Histoire shakes her head amusingly. "Another day in Research Land."

"I don't think so, Histoire." Turning her head back, the Oracle sees a woman with a tablet in her hands walking to her with a worried look on her face. "Kuro must see this at once."

"He's currently under stress, Arfoire." The Oracle shakes her head. "And I have to side with Neptune that Kuro needs some rest today."

"…I see. But, we need to deal with this." Facing the screen to her co-worker, the purified Goddess explains. "Our scouts have detected a massive portal at the South of West Coast Island. I have accessed to SKYNET to check if it has opened it, but no data logs showed to be the case."

WCI is the clear island at the West of Gamindustri.

"SKYNET is not responsible… Arfoire, we need to head to the Center HQ to check it now."

Location: Research Land. Seaside

Time: 9:10

"You two are late." Noire scowls as everyone is waiting for Kuro and Neptune to join them.

"Hey, you know how Kuro… hey! Don't run away!" Nearly losing her grip on Kuro's arm, the girl manages to pull him back in time before he escapes. "Come on! Where's your bravery when you fight your enemies?"

"This is not the same!" Red-faced from embarrassment, Kuro shouts.

When it becomes something similar to a tug-of-war, Noire decides to join with her friend and pulls the man to the group. Blanc sees the scene with a mildly interested face, as she asks the person next to her: "Seriously, was he really THAT embarrassed when he sleeps with you all?"

"Obviously not." The woman in her fifties, with the appearance of thirties, answers with a smile. She then walks to Kuro and starts wrapping her arms around his torso, before lifting him up and brings him to the group while he throws his arms and legs in embarrassed fright. "Come on dear, just let it go already."

"It's embarrassing, IF!" Kuro says the woman's name in fear. "Please, just let me…" He can't say further when he's thrown into the water. Quickly emerging from water, he tries to shout something, only ends up screaming in surprise as all the girls jump on him.

"IF, that's a little mean of you!" Another woman in the same age lightly scolds the woman with a smile.

"Hey, if that's how we fix his fear against women when it's not fighting, then I think everything would be used, Compa." IF replies with the same smile. "Hey Compa, let's join them before escape."

"Yeppy!"

Five minutes later

"I… hate you girls…" Lying face-up on the sand, Kuro's fake-crocodile tears spill out as he weakly protests.

"Now dear, you definitely like it, don't you?" IF smiles as she moves over his face, showing her upper body to him and causing him to blush. "Just enjoy moments like this, don't over-exhaust yourself by denying it."

If you don't understand, Neptunia's verse is all about fan services, and the fifth CPU is having the front seat here with all the girls showing their best swimsuits. Doesn't mean he can show his excitement over his face, though everyone knows that he's cheering on the inside.

"You know I hate showing that in public…" Kuro whines weakly… then he hears his phone ringing. Of course, he doesn't need to see the screen to know who is calling. "Histoire, they're bullying me~" He starts whining when the call is through…

"We have an emergency here! A large army is marching through a portal in West Coast Island! And they're as bad as the Grimm in Remnant!"

That one call from Histoire causes everyone to stop moving as they stare at Kuro in shock. The moment Histoire spoke 'emergency', the fifth CPU immediately drops his whine and wears on his serious face, as he stands straight up. "How bad is it? Any casualties?"

"They have at least ten thousand troops. Thankfully SKYNET has activated Omega Evacuation Protocol, so unfortunate citizens have been teleported to Research Land." Arfoire reports, as she watches the satellites' overview. "But they're pushing fast!"

"I understand." Kuro turns off his phone, and uses his magic to make his usual clothes appear on him. "Girls, this is fun, but we have enemies trying to invade us. We need to give them a proper response. IF, Compa, return to Research Land and check on the evacuation. Goddesses, we will head to the front line immediately."

Location: In front of the portal in PC Continent

Time: 9:00

While he knows the Emperor would order him and the other kings to lead their troops and invade a new land, he was expecting them all to go to Alnus Hill where the Gate opens randomly throughout time. He didn't expect that another Gate-like was opened in Rectus Hill at the west of Alnus Hill. So, he has been ordered to go there with King of Alguna's army and claim the territory. So far, so good…

When they reached it, Colt Formal could feel something wrong. First, it looks very unstable unlike the Gate in Alnus Hill. Second, this Gate is way bigger than the other one. And third… it's his instinct, but it screams danger…

Of course, that doesn't mean that he and his troops have never faced unknown threats before. So he started ordering his soldiers to come through first while Alguna's army stayed behind in case if something went wrong.

When his army passed through the portal with no problems, they were right in front of a city, with people looking at the Gate in confusion. So, without a second thought, Colt ordered his soldiers to move up and started their conquest on the new world.

After fifteen minutes, they managed to clear out a good area of the city. So far, his troops have killed anyone standing on their way, leaving no survivors behind. Those people weren't even able to react to their advances at all, which made him feel a little bad. But, orders are orders, so he let his troops search further into the place…

When a sudden earthquake suddenly appears, causing the march to halt as the soldiers try to not fall face-first to the ground.

The event then stops as quickly as it starts. One commander then asks: "What the heck was that? Were the Gods angry at our attack?"

"Don't be stupid!" Another commander scolds. "The Gods bless us so we could expand our Empire!"

"Hm… something's wrong…" Colt rubs his chin, thinking about the current situation. "With this big of a landscape, there would be more activities…"

"Sir!" A rider then runs to them and gives Colt his monocular. "I think I saw the resistances…"

Colt takes it and starts looking forward… "Are you kidding me?"

Other commanders also use theirs, and see why Colt expresses his surprise. This 'resistances' is just a small group of young girls with a man leading them. All of them don't even wear any sorts of armors while wielding simple weapons that look too mundane. They are walking towards them, while the others then start heading to them. The man is entirely focusing on the invaders while the girls instruct the citizens to head to the right directions.

"Are the people here so desperate that they sent kids to fight us? We are right to invade this place, the barbarians here were so pathetic!" One commander mocks whoever is living in this 'isolated' area.

"If that's truly the case, I feel even more pitiful for these people." Colt shakes his head in disappointment. He then shouts his order: "All troops, under the flag of…"

"You people were bravely STUPID to invade an unknown territory." Suddenly, from all of the buildings, the face of the man shows up with different sizes, frightening the soldiers a bit. Colt looks up in surprise, as he clearly sees the anger in the person's face. "You have crashed our place while we're not looking, and normally we will just return the favor. But, we're giving you a chance to retreat back to wherever you're from, and we will never talk about this again. Choose wisely."

'Is this…magic?' Colt thinks, as he watches through his monocular to see the same movements from the real person to the images. 'Even the mightiest mages in Falmart could only replicate their voices. This person…'

"HAHAHA! That kid has a big mouth!" His commanders start laughing mockingly. "Let us see if he could keep his attitude after we break him!"

For a second, Colt sees the person's eyes twitch in more anger. "Five seconds, or this place will be your grave."

The bold claim causes the soldiers to shout back in anger and they start rushing forward, eager to kill the 'kid' who dared say these words to the proud and glorious troops of Empire. Everyone's fired up, and Colt couldn't blame them. He then gives out a final order for the soldiers to freely move forward…

"So, you have chosen death." That's the person's last words before his images die away…

And Colt and his soldiers then witness something that they couldn't believe their eyes: right from thin air, multiple magic circles emit throughout between their army. And then, multiple knight armors start materializing out and they float in the air, awaiting for orders to attack. While the number is lower than theirs, these armors are double-human-sized each, with their weapons being swords and lances. Those armors also emit some sorts of flame inside out, screaming 'danger' by itself. Colt then looks back down to see the human group starting to run towards his army, weapons ready in place. Having no other options, he shouts his order to attack…

'Great, Roman-type army. Why am I not surprised?' Kuro grunts in his mind as he sees who the enemies are.

After everyone has changed into their usual outfit (by magic, no time to do it manually), the fifth CPU opens a dimension rift that sends them all right at the scene. He then creates a temporary earthquake by stomping his foot once so the invaders stop for a moment. When the girls start readying their weapons, he sends out a warning to the invaders, hoping that they would just turn away. Though, he also has his doubt about it… and when it's confirmed that the enemies aren't going to back out, he decides to bring out one of his preferable choices to counter this army: the 'Dark Angels' in Devil May Cry 4, Alto Angelo and Bianco Angelo. He also calls out his katana in his left hand, ready to kill.

'Why are these flags always appeared in our holidays!?' Neptune whines in telepathy connection.

'Partly my fault. Sorry about it.' Kuro apologizes.

'Hey, we know you well enough. Just try to make up for it after we deal with the enemies.'

'Of course, Vert. Everyone, with this type of army, you just have to aim for their commanders. Leave the regular troops to the armors.'

'Good enough. Don't want to cut too many people down, even when they're trying to kill us. Still need to deal with some first before we can reach those in charge.'

'Agree.'

He realizes it too late.

If he doesn't know better, he would just assume that these kids are hallucinating, thinking that war is just a backyard training field. He would think these kids would die not even knowing how they die.

Then, he remembers one of the strongest creatures existing among the people:

Apostles. Demigods.

They have the strength of the mightiest dragons, with immortality and durability surpassing all creatures existed in Falmart. They can easily clear out any armies with little difficulty, and even if anyone could damage them, they would just heal back with no problems.

And, they have their appearance intact even when they ascend into Gods and Goddesses.

His thought is cut off when the sky suddenly turns dark in a second, and then lightning starts striking on his army, killing hundreds troops in process. Then, one of them lands on the man's waiting blade, encasing it in thunder, and he strikes it on Colt's army, killing more than ten soldiers in one hit. Then, the thunder changes itself to fire as the man strikes again, burning another group of soldiers. And he's not even at sword-reach distance. When ten of Colt's soldiers try to thrust their weapons to the person, he would just swing the sheath up and deflect every attack out before swinging the blade once or two, killing the whole group in a blink of an eye. The man continues his onslaught, albeit his speed slows down due to how many enemies are in front of him.

Then, the ground shakes again, as spears of earth emerge from below, killing the soldiers at the midst of the formation. Colt turns to the right to see the girl with green hair and the one with brown hair wrecking his soldiers with their golden spear and a ridiculously enormous hammer. Either the unfortunate soldier gets impaled through his heart, or one would get crushed down into a bundle of flesh if he doesn't dodge a smash from above. None of his soldiers are fast enough to even keep up to these girls, as they're moving too fast, like… they're flying through the battlefield like nothing.

Then, to the left, the girl with purple hair who looks barely his daughter's age wields a thin and slightly curved sword, and she easily deflects anything that comes to her. Even the arrow barrages wouldn't do anything to her, by either her dodging or cutting them down, or her black-haired friend helps her dealing with them. For the next horror, that purple-haired girl pulls out a building-sized broadsword out of nowhere and chops on his army, creating mini earthquakes when the blade touches the ground.

And that's just five 'kids'. The armors, while they don't have ridiculous power, they're too durable for even the Orcs to smash with their clubs, and they can even fly! The Wyvern Riders couldn't do anything against even one of the armors, and one by one they start falling out of the sky.

His commanders are also in shock as well, but they manage to snap out of it as they order the soldiers to push up, hoping to swarm the resistances. However, it's for naught as more of those armors appear, easing the 'kids' from fighting too much…

And then, Colt feels those 'kids' focusing on him and his commanders. The male of the group immediately makes a beeline to him with speed rival a flying wyvern, with the knight armors shoving everything else out of him. Knowing that nothing is going to stop the person from coming at him, Colt pulls out his sword and raises it up, just in time to block the person's slash. During the sword clashes, which happens in an instant, Colt could see pure anger in his eyes staring at his soul, and that makes his sweat turn cold. Then, with immense power, he pushes the Count out of the horse back, making him fall on the ground after being flinched a few feet backward. The other commanders plan to go and help their leader, but the girls have reached them and they have no choices but to defend themselves first before their heads roll.

Quickly standing up, Colt raises his sword defensively, as the person slowly and menacingly walks to him with his sword pointing to the ground, ready to swing it up at any time. The person's face holds the same emotion as before, as he speaks: "I was human, like you, so I understand why you invaded my world. But, I also know a fact that human are brave, yet stupid at the same time. I gave you a chance to turn your head, and yet…" He then lets out a deep sign, as he sheaths his sword, but his right hand do not leave the handle. "I'm not really a person who kills people blindly. Last chance. Take your soldiers back, and we won't come after you."

Colt can't believe his own ears. Even AFTER the fight is still going on, even AFTER they have killed the people here… his opponent is STILL willingly giving them a chance to run? When they now clearly have their army easily fought against Colt's? However…

Gripping his sword harder, Colt gives out his final decision: "I cannot. Retreat is heresy to the Empire. And… my people will be in danger if I oppose the Emperor."

After that answer, he lets out a battle cry and rushes forward, swings his sword down to his opponent's head… only for him to use his right hand to grab the blade and stop the attack in place. Colt watches in surprise as his sword can't go down further, but it manages to draw blood from his opponent's hand. He then looks at the person's eyes, to see the anger slowly fades away, replaced by sadness. The young man then sighs again, and concludes: "…If it's that the case, I should give you a quick death, to honor your bravery."

His sword's then thrown out of his hands, and in a blink of an eye, Colt feels the blade of the young man going through his heart…

In that one second… He thought about his people, how they react when they find out his death… how he imagine everyone trying to take avenge on his death… her daughter's future…

…But, he feels no pain. He feels the blade going through his body, but there's no other feelings, none. He looks down to where he's stabbed, to see there's no blood at all. He then looks at his opponent's face, to see his eyes widen in surprise a bit… And then, he says: "You're lucky." The young man then yanks the sword out in one swift move, and then punches Colt in the face, sending him to the world of darkness.

"He survives that…" Kuro says to himself, as he lets the body of the army's leader fall to the ground unconsciously. Sheathing his sword back to its scabbard, he looks at his own bloody hand, and lets his power heal him back. Then, without looking back, he pulls out his revolver and shoots a guy trying to sneak up on him. "He don't."

"Kuro!" Tapping on his earpiece, he listens to Arfoire's report. "OEP shows that there's no deaths of citizens of WCI. You can retreat now."

"…You say that, but…" Turning around the battlefield, Kuro sighs. "Even without their leader, they're still pushing up…"

'HEY! The backline is retreating!' Neptune calls out to him as she sees some of them running away. 'Should we follow them back?'

'…Not necessary. Let them run back, but capture any survivors and those who try to hide in the city.'

'Gotcha!'

"Kuro…" Through the camera, Histoire could see a disdain look on his face. "I know that you're upset at these people, but…"

"No, I do not upset at the soldiers. They were just following orders. Even their leader…" Kuro then grabs the body of the leader and drags him into the city, in the middle of the fight. "We will speak later. For now, we have to deal with the aftermath." 'Everyone, don't need to chase after runners. However, check every corner for those who hide in darkness. We can't let any accidents happen.'

Time: 10:00

"Is there anyone left, Histoire?"

"Scanning… yes, it's everyone."

"Thank you." Kuro releases his finger from the earpiece, and sighs again. "What a freaking coincidence. 'That day' yesterday, and now this…" He then groans. "Freaking… days without sleep for me then…"

"Sir Kuro." He turns to see the current Mayor of the city walking to him. "Thank you so much for protecting the town."

"Don't sweat it. However, it should be my fault for not noticing it sooner." Kuro bows to the 'older' person before him.

"Nonsense. Your protecting system worked so well." The Mayor, and pretty much everyone in Gamindustri, knows how Kuro is apologetic at anything related to him. "If you need anything, just tell us."

"…Thanks for your understanding." Kuro stands straight up. "Do you have any, uh, clear field? I think a prison is needed to have the soldiers from another world to be locked up for the time being."

"Hm…"

"And please, if it's an already constructed area, then I will not use it."

"Don't worry, I know how you feel… right, at the east of the island. We were just clearing a corner of a forest there, as we were planning to…"

"Mister Mayor, didn't I just say…"

"Worry not, it's still a clear field. We haven't done anything yet other than clearing the area."

"…Thank you."

"You're welcome. And…"

"YOU BARBARIANS! RELEASE US NOW, OR THE EMPIRE WILL KILL ALL OF YOU!"

Kuro groans again. "Just… don't say anything about it."

"If you say so… can I ask this?" The Mayor then whispers: "You seem to know this army. Are they from… well, you know…"

"…They're not the real Roman. While I can see the style, their language doesn't match. And the fact they seem to acknowledge magic very well." Kuro speaks out his analysis during the fight.

"So… could be another parallel planet?"

"…I will be the judge to that. Do you need anything else?"

"That would be all. I have also expressed my gratitude to the other CPUs… Ah, right, one last thing…"

"They can stay in Research Land until further notices."

"Thank you very much. Have a great day, sir." The Mayor bows and walks away, enters his transport and gets to the other parts of the city to announce what happened.

After the transport is out of sight, Kuro turns to the captured soldiers who are tied up and placed in the main square of the city. The defense force of the city has arrived when the fight was near the end, and they helped dealing with the ones trying to escape. The other CPUs are taking the last patrol to make sure they don't leave anything important behind.

"…Who's the one opening this portal?"

Do you even need to ask?

"I swear, his timing is getting worse and worse…"

I can tell… so, how are you going to respond to this?

"…For the time being, just lock them in the prison. And… question their motivations. After that…" Kuro's left eye pupil disappears, replaced by a cursed rune. "Choice: Peacemaker, or Annihilation."

Chapter 1 end!

There MIGHT be some grammar mistakes that I will eventually find out in the future (I'm just human), so I believe you don't need to point out every single one of them.

So, Chosen-One-92 has pointed out a valid point in my original story. First, thank you. Second, here's the references (if you can't check it through the main story):

Alto Angelo and Bianco Angelo are demons in Devil May Cry 4.

SKYNET is the same AI System in Terminator series, except that it's not corrupted.

Also, there's something for you guys to note: ANY units being used here with no special notes are all clones created by Kuro. Only when it's from a world I have confirmed to exist in this story, would it be the original.

About West Coast Island, it's because there's no specific name for it. I tried to find it, but no success. It's the island on the left of Megadimension Neptunia's Gamindustri map.

So yeah, I think it's enough for now. Stay safe everyone, and see you all in the future!
