'"Dissy." A sweet voice cooed.
Discord opened his eyes, them feeling heavy from the warm sun and sweet scent of spring grass. He released a yawn, glancing over towards the voice. The voice of his Dear. Her hair was long again, braided to the side, a large sun hat covering her from the sun as well as a light long sleeve and long skirt. She giggled, pointing a finger happily towards his legs. Looking without moving them, he saw their little one, laying hunched over his thigh, arms loosely dangling in front as she snored loudly, barely a year old.
He smiled goofily, using a finger to gently play with the baby's wild curls. He couldn't bring himself to speak, not wanting to ruin the moment.
"You can talk, you know. She sleeps like the dead." Fluttershy giggled again, settling herself next to him, her head on his bicep, tracing a tattoo.
He moved his hand, caressing her cheek. "You never know. Remember last week, she woke up to the word "chocolate milk"? She's…" he stopped, unsure which word to use.
"She's…perfect? I know. Hee-hee." Fluttershy leaned up and gave him a sweet kiss. "Too bad we don't have a babysitter for tonight." Fluttershy pouted before giving him a mischievous smirk, covering her giggle when he broke out into a deep blush.
"F-F-Flu-" he began to squawk, but she bit his lip to shush him, making sure their little one didn't wake.
"I'm only playing, Discord. Mostly." Her smile slowly fell and she sighed, a complicated look on her face.
Discord furrowed his brows. "What's the matter, My Dear?" He gently turned her head towards him.
"My parents would've loved her." Her smile was sad.
"Yes, but she has Rainbowdash's parents as well as Pinkie's family. Don't get me started on Capper, Sombra, and her Aunty Chrissy. She's quite good with relatives, I'd think." Discord snorted, trying to veer the topic to something more happy and to remind Fluttershy what they still had, not what they lost.
He didn't expect her to quickly lean down and kiss him roughly, biting his lip again to make his mouth open so she could kiss him deeper. The magic in his system began to hum, but she pulled away, making him dizzy. "Wha-Uhm…" he couldn't find out what he wanted to say.
"I love you."'
Discord jolted awake, sitting up which caused wires and I.V.s to rip from him, though he ignored it, looking around crazily, seeing a familiar yet dreaded hospital room. He wanted to call out, despite his confusion. He tried remembering what had last happened that would've made him end up there. He went to jump out of the bed, wanting nothing more than to search for Fluttershy and the others, though finding her was his priority, only to have his arm yanked back by something. Looking back, he saw he was handcuffed to the bed. Releasing a snarl, he used his magic to break it.
Finally free, he charged out, looking around for any sign of his loved ones.
"Halt, Discordant! You're not allowed to be-" a guard spoke as he turned a corner, only for Discord to keep running towards them only to grab them and their approaching comrades by the throat and detach the skulls from the spines, all without breaking the skin, the guard's bodies landing with a thump.
Discord scaled floor by floor doing basically the same, all while not finding a trace of his companions. He wasn't even sure how long it had been either, only realizing it as his mind raced without stop.
He was close to just jumping out one of the windows to start his search outside, when a loud, shrill whistle stopped him in his tracks and pain began to burst through his body, the voices screaming as he crumbled to his knees.
"Discordant. Why are you making a mess of my facility?" A calm voice spoke, a warning lying underneath the tone.
He looked to the woman, The Madame, ears covered until he saw she wasn't using the whistle anymore. "Why am I here? Where's my companions?" He tried standing again, but his legs wouldn't let him.
The Madame rolled her eyes. "Here I am, making sure you're taken care of and all I get is this attitude in return? I let you do as you pleased for far too long."
A familiar face came up from behind The Madame, he holding out what looked like a tranquilizer gun to her, but Discord hadn't paid attention to that. A memory flashed in his mind, he lying under rubble while Accord and this being dragged away Fluttershy in the midst of dust and debris. He knew then, they had something to do with what happened. "Where's Fluttershy?" He glared, causing the blonde child to jump in fear.
He didn't speak, only glancing up to The Madame.
The Madame played with the gun for a moment before smiling, the grin cruel and similar to Discord's. "Oh, that's right. You don't know. Good thing, you kept her fed for at least a couple days, though it was trial and error for a long time since the tests never came out right or with satisfactory results. Too bad we had a mishap the other day, right, Zephyr, darling?" She side glanced the blonde, the other had eyes wide, tears filling them.
"But-Madame-she's my-" Zephyr stuttered and stumbled, face pale and beginning to fill with anguish.
"She WAS your sibling." The Madame didn't even look at Zephyr as she petted his head, her gaze solely on Discord and his reaction.
In that instance, Discord couldn't hear anything. No crying from Zephyr, no words from The Madame. Only the sound of white static as he couldn't process what he'd heard.
'She's…gone?'
His magic began to pop like soda bubble, running along his body like a strobe light. His mind couldn't process it. 'We were just there. Home. In the kitchen.' He remembered all their smiles, the music, the warmth, her kissing him with such sweetness, the pain and pleasure of her biting into him. Her sweet voice.
"Hmm…I wonder." The Madame hummed, her own eyes aglow as she shot Discord with the tranquilizer multiple times, only to have it not calm him at all, but make his magic fizzle and heat more, wave after wave of chaotic magic beginning to spread and leak around, the walls cracking as the floors melted.
"Come, Zephyr. It's getting too dangerous." She turned after unloading all the filled darts of medicine into an unraveling Discord.
Zephyr followed silently, regret etched into his brow. 'What have I done?'
The Madame, Zephyr, and Accord, who was their driver, left the crumbling, bubbling, freezing building, leaving not only Discord, but an awakening Sombra, Chrysalis, Capper and Derpy, The Madame smiling all the while, a tiny fragment of the Element of Kindness hanging around her neck. 'Don't worry, Equestria…once I'm finished, I won't show you the same mercy. Your peaceful days are numbered.'
