Yes, I know this isn't Enter the Phoenix. Yes I know this is a completely new story. Technically. Ish. Chapters 1- some of 8 have been written for a couple years, since I was pregnant with baby #2 and she's almost 2 now, so...

So this is a new story that I've cross posted on AO3 under a different name (so if you've seen it on there, it's me!)

Like all my stories, it's about the Summers family because... you know. Severe obsession. But I wanted to try something new this time, and so the infamous camping trip didn't happen, and this is a crossover with Avengers and the Tom Holland Spider-Man movies. Please note that I'm pulling from comics, movies, and TV shows with my background information.

Currently, this story has 42 completed chapters and is coming up on 108k words- my longest single story to date (320 pages!)- so there will be plenty of content.

Does this mean I've given up on my other stories? No. But my life is currently consumed with this story. I'm not even working on my series that's published on Amazon that actually DOES make me money.

There will be character death(s). There will be spanking. There will be a m/m couple (it will NOT be Spider-Man and Cyclops). There will be language. There will be allusions and straight up mentions/discussions of sex, but there won't be full scenes written out because, as you know if you've read any of my stuff, I just suck at writing that. If any of this bothers you, then no one is forcing you to read. This is your only warning as I will not be putting them in the chapters.

And like the rest of my stories, I don't own the characters. I also won't be putting that disclaimer in every chapter because I've said it here and it's friggin' annoying to repeat it every single time.

So feel free to read, follow, comment, or message me! And thanks!

Katherine stared at the double lines on her test. She had been feeling off for several weeks, but until recently, had thought it was the hours she had been keeping around the house.

"Annie? You alright in there?" Katherine looked at the door.

Chris.

He'd been adamant that he only wanted two children. This wasn't part of his plan.

"Anne?"

Katherine sunk to the floor, grasping the test tightly.

"Katherine. Baby, you're scaring me. Can I come in?" The doorknob jiggled and then he was in their small bathroom. Katherine took him in- all six feet however many inches he was.

Their oldest was practically a smaller version of him, while their youngest- middle child took after her.

"What's wrong? Last minute nerves about the trip?" Katherine blinked twice and then held up her test.

"I… I don't know how it happened," she admitted quietly. "We've been so careful-"

"Fuck," Chris whispered, looking at the positive test. He ran a hand through his hair before nodding. "Alright. Trip is off-"

"Chris-"

"Annie, I'm not putting this baby at risk. I know planes are safe, but… Staying home will be safer. You don't need to rough it while you're pregnant-"

"You're not upset?" Chris gave her a soft smile.

"While I'll admit it's not… ideal, no. No, I'm not upset, babe. You've already given me two amazing boys. What's one more? Or a little girl, for that matter?" Katherine felt her body relax.

"I was so worried…"

"These things happen, Anne. No form of birth control is a guarantee." He held his hand out and helped her to her feet. "Are you ok with it?"

"I-" Katherine hesitated for a moment. "I think so. It'll be an adjustment, for certain."

"I'll be gone for… most of it," he frowned. "Are you going to be-?"

"I handled Alex just fine, didn't I?"

"Doesn't mean you were ok with it, Annie." She put a hand on his face.

"I agreed to this when I became a military wife. I'll be fine, Chris." Chris put his hand over hers on his cheek.

"What can I do to make this easier on you?"

"Break the news to the boys about the trip?" Chris winced.

"Why do I feel like I got the short end of the stick?" he grumbled. Katherine smiled and Chris couldn't help but smile back.
