Hi. long time since I've written anything. Been pressed down with exams and not to mention the pandemic. Anyway, this story was inspired by one written by SSJ Lone Wolf. I also adopted his OC, so make sure to go check him out and support his writings.

p.s I am more of a DB fan than DC, so i could be biased. But anyway enjoy!

Orbiting Earth was a large space station, known as the Watch Tower. Home and base to the greatest heroes of Earth. Who were they? The Justice League. A group of humans, meta humans and aliens working and fighting alongside each other to protect the planet they held dear.

But unknown to them, was that greater powers were monitoring them and their foes alike, watching and contemplating whether or not to intervene in their problems or send there proxies to guide them and strengthen them. Such a thing long on the mind of the father of Angels.

The Grand Minister observed the planet. It was very much a carbon copy of the one in Universe Seven. But the humans it housed were weaker and the planet itself had weaker foundations. It was also a hotspot of petty squabbles, and contradicting ideologies as well as greed and hypocrisy.

But that was not what intrigued him most about this Earth. More about the kind of beings that had ruled it long ago and the secrets still hidden there right under the noses of these heroes. The time had come for him to send someone, to retrieve that which was stolen from the gods, for the safety of Universe Three.

Hearing the whirring sound of someone's arrival, the old angel looked towards the landing pad outside the palace. There stood a young man about 6'5, his hair spiked on end upwards save for a few stray locks hanging downwards with one large lock hanging down to the left of his face. Dressed in a black spandex over which he had a red trench coat tied around the waist with a black sash that covered the young man's tail. On his feet were black combat boots with red straps and red tops on the toes (picture Goku's boots from the tournament of destroyers), and tied around his lower face was a triangular cloth marked with the symbol of the Omni King, a red upside down V. On his back was a sword (shaped like Orcrist, if you know what I'm talking about) with a blade completely black. His latest student had arrived.

"You called for me, master?" questioned Bardock, nephew of Goku and the new Legendary Super Saiyan, as he took a bow.

"I have an errand for you."

Down on Earth, a great battle was nearing its end. On the edge of Metropolis, buildings were destroyed, grounds were levelled, Apokaliptian spaceships were hovering in the air and all was chaos. Humans and heroes alike were sprawled on the ground battered and bloody. The heavy hitters of the Justice League were all down. This included the Kryptonians, the godling imbued with the powers of the old Olympians and the half-goddess known as Wonder Woman. All had suffered a humiliating defeat at the hands of the being known as Darkseid, the tyrant of Apokalips who fancied himself as an omnipotent god.

All watched as he held Earth's mightiest hero, Kal-El or Superman as he was most commonly known, by the throat in one hand while the other held a kryptonite dagger. Superman could have broken out of the hold with some effort if he wanted but the radiation from the green rock had rendered him powerless at the hands of the demon. There was nothing anyone could do. All power reserves had been exhausted and not one hero could bring themselves to their feet to help. And Darkseid knew this as he grinned gleefully at the limp being in his hand. Soon he would be dead, and at long last the Anti-Life equation would be his. He would have the power to rule all the universe and none could question him. His reign would be absolute.

"Do you see now mortal scum!" He bellowed out for all to hear. "I will always be victorious in the end. Your pathetic defenders are wasted and broken. How foolish of you to put your faith in these weaklings. Mortals will be mortals in the end. Defeat for you was inevitable!".

His Parademons cackled and hooted at the misfortune of the league, while Desaad and Steppenwolf stood of to the side smirking evilly. Granny Goodness sneered and her furies had faces of satisfaction. The war was long and hard and they had all suffered the wrath of their master time and time again for the constant failure against these so called 'heroes'. I t felt good to be on the winning side for a change.

"You won't get away with this." croaked Superman and Darkseid looked to him questioningly. "Oa and New Genesis..."

"Oh don't you worry." Clark was interrupted. "Once I have absolute power, those nuisances will easily fall to my will. And you have lived long enough, Kal-El. Begone!"

Darkseid raised his arm to stab the man deep in his heart. Wonder woman jolted and use the sword of Athena to hoist herself to her feet. But it was futile as she could barely stand. All closed their eyes, unable to witness the death of their friend and ally. Darkseid gleefully grinned at their misery but just as he was about commit the the deed, he suddenly felt very...uncomfortable. Deep in his gut, something was screaming danger but he couldn't for the life of him figure out what it was. Those who closed their eyes opened them once again to see the look of confusion on the New God's face. Superman watch as Darkseid twitched in nervousness before the New God whipped his head around to a bare piece of land not too far way from the battle scene and all followed his gaze.

Sure enough, there was a young man standing in the middle of that place. He looked very wild and primal, with his hair sticking upwards in spikes giving the impression of a flame. He was quite muscular as could be noted by the heroines through his spandex covered arms. However his muscles appeared more lean and defined. His clothes were unlike any fashion they'd seen before but the wraps around his hands suggested he was a fighter and on his back was a large curved blade that seemed as black as the void of space. His arms were folded across his chest and his face contorted into a nasty scowl as he locked eyes with Darkseid, who glared right back at him.

The heroes eyed the newcomer warily, especially a certain bat, but were assured that this person was on their side judging by the way he was looking at the invader, at least for now. And the humans were all looking at this boy, hoping he was a miracle that had come to save them. The stare down continued before Darkseid dropped his prize as well as the dagger before he turned completely towards Bardock. Bardock himself unfolded his arms and began walking slowly towards the demon as he stopped suppressing his energy levels and his power began to manifest.

Everyone felt their hairs stand on end as the air grew heavy and the ground began rumbling. Clouds were stirring up above and stones ranging from pebbles to boulders rattled. Large ripples began moving in the sea and the pilots flying the battleships overhead were having a bit of difficulty keeping their ships balanced.

"This is nuts! Can you feel that?" asked Flash. Hal Jordan also known as Green Lantern, who was being supported on his friend's shoulder nodded.

"Yeah, Metropolis...no the entire planet seems to be shaking."

All could hear a funny noise in the air, a low growling as the air grew heavier. They eyed the stranger as he kept coming closer and closer to Darkseid. On his way, he passed by Supergirl who looked up at him with her big blue eyes. As he glanced at her, she swore his own eyes softened a tad bit before he moved on and she flushed. Now that she had a closer look at his features, she could see that he was what the humans liked to call a 'bad-boy'.

Finally after an agonising few seconds, Bardock finally came to a stop about thirty feet away from Darkseid who had also been walking towards his new challenger and stopped as well.

"Who dares challenge Darkseid?" questioned said being as he looked upon his opponent with a scrutinising gaze.

Bardock only scoffed before his white aura ignited and a transparent white, flaming column shot up into the sky. And from it came a hurricane. Everyone braced themselves as high winds tore through their surroundings and uprooted trees and blew away rocks. The sea was driven back from the shore and the weaker heroes were blown off their feet. Diana lifted her shield up in front of her as her hair whipped wildly around her face. The Kryptonians who had managed to partially reenergise themselves from the solar rays dug their feet and hands into the ground as they tried not give way. Even Darkseid had to throw his arms up to shield his face. A cold feeling of dread began to seep into his blood.

"This is unbelievable!" Thought Batman as ducked behind a massive boulder that survived the gale. "No one should be able to contain, let alone possess this much power. Just what the hell is he?"

"Since when could people become living energy outputs?!" Thought Flash as he couldn't even vibrate through the wind blowing in his face. Green Lantern had thrown up a green energy shield which was beginning to crack. At the same time there was a meter in front of his face which was used by the Lantern Corps to calculate the power level of people they encountered. And right now the numbers were just shooting up faster every moment. His eyes widened as the numbers became lines and the meter burst. It couldn't even calculate the boy's power which should have been impossible according to the Guardians.

Finally after about fifteen seconds the storm died down. There were huge dust clouds in almost every direction and the ships managed to right themselves. Darkseid dropped his arms and glared at the stranger. Clearly he was an unknown as no human could do what he just did. He must have come from some world he'd never conquered before. Before Bardock could make any move, the new god shot his Omega Beams towards him. Bardock quickly spread a thin layer of Ki over his chest and as the beams collided they dispersed into little red particles.

Everyone's jaws fell. Absolutely no one outside the Kryptonians could survive this attack but even they weren't able to just stand and shrug it off. Darkseid continued his assault before he stopped and blinked to cool his eyes down. His mind was absolutely baffled. His Omega beams would be ineffective only against someone protected by the Source. For what reason was this...boy given that privilege. Snarling he leaped at the boy and slammed a fearsome punch into his face. But to his shock he didn't even flinch and the boy stood steadfast. Granted he had only used a small amount of his power but even then, he had expected to inflict some sort of pain. But the stranger just stood there with a bored expression on his face.

Bardock knew that Darkseid was just testing the waters with him but to hold back so much of his power was insult to his Saiyan pride. But then again...before the battle of the fist comes the battle of the mind. Should Darkseid use everything he had and yet still get thrashed by Bardock easily, it would teach the others, villains and heroes alike to not mess with him ever. He knew that there were plenty among the league who were to paranoid and so would try to apprehend him because of his power. Hopefully this demonstration would drive some messages home. He just had to be patient. Meanwhile said heroes could not believe what they were seeing. It began to dawn on them that Darkseid had picked a fight with a power they couldn't even comprehend. Some were afraid of what would happen should this newcomer turn on them. But as long as he was fighting Darkseid he would be a friend on the battle field.

Darkseid pulled back his fist and threw a left, this time with half his power. Bardock simply lifted a finger and stopped it. Darkseid's eyes widened before they narrowed and he stepped back. It had become painfully obvious he was going to have to go all out on him. He pulled a fist back, packed with all his might. The shockwave would be enough to destroy the entire area around them, perhaps even the whole planet. The leaguers gasped as they caught on to his plan and Superman was just about to fly in when Bardock suddenly moved forward. It was so fast, only speedsters like Flash saw him move and bury his fist into Darkseid's stomach. The New God spat out a stream of saliva before the full power of the blow registered and he was sent flying into the air.

As he righted himself, Bardock materialised right in front of him. Gritting his teeth, the two began trading punches that boomed throughout the city. But none landed on Bardock. Those that were targeted at him were blocked or dodged, before Bardock sent a kick into Darkseid's face that sent him high up into the atmosphere, Bardock appeared right on top of him again and jack hammered him back into the ground creating a crater. As Darkseid's body bounced, Bardock appeared next to him and kicked him back up like before. Again he appeared on top of him in the air but this time sent a left hook into his solar plexus that made Darkseid crash into the side of one of his ships. Darkseid collapsed on the ground on his face unable to breath. It felt as if a whole planet had just barrelled into his chest. He heard footsteps approaching him before a foot stamped on his head, crushing it into the ground and making him scream.

The spectators looked on in shock. Bardock had just slapped Darkseid, their most hated and definitely one of their most powerful enemies around silly like a ragdoll. And now he was humiliating him in front of his soldiers as well as all of humanity. Most felt satisfied at seeing him knocked down a few pegs, but a few realised that Darkseid's last days alive may have just come.

Bardock lifted his foot and hooked a thumb under that stupid cowl, lifted him up and eyed the scum as he wheezed.

"It's over." he said in a monotone voice. He delivered another left into his solar plexus before forming a blue Ki blast and sending Darkseid into orbit before the blast detonated and the entire sky was filled with the explosion. All who witnessed were left gobsmacked at the scene. Such power exceeded anything they could imagine. Whoever he was was someone not to be messed with. At least most people did.

Bardock quickly jumped aside as an axe struck the spot he previously stood in. He glanced at Steppenwolf who clearly was the one who threw it. Steppenwolf grit his teeth. Even if Darkseid had lost, surely this boy was tired from the attack he had just launched. He leapt towards Bardock intent on breaking his neck, but right before he came in contact he hit some kind of force field. It was evident as there was a glowing white barrier between him and Bardock. the Justice league watched as his body spasmed a few times before he was suddenly flung back and sailed right through a ship and came out the other side. As he fell back to Earth his body dug a huge ditch before the warlord came to a stop and his eyes rolled back. There were multiple dents in his armour. Clearly he had been hit several times, but they hadn't even seen Bardock move.

"Flash, did you...?" Batman was about to ask but got cut off.

"No. I didn't see him move at all." The speedster said in a small voice. Batman's brains were whirring at this point. Trying to figure out some sort of way to counter Bardock's power... you know, typical Batman paranoia.

"Super Strength, Super Speed, Teleportation, Flight and some sort of energy manipulation. What else is he capable of?"

The remaining Apokaliptians started retreating. This unknown quantity had taken down both the strongest of their forces with relative ease. The best thing to do now was retreat back home and develop a plan. Boom tubes began opening up all over the place and before long they had all gone, taking Darkseid and Steppenwolf with. Bardock let them be. No matter what they did, they would never be able to defeat him. He was packing about six or seven power ups and he hadn't needed to use one of them against those weaklings. Glancing around at the carnage, he shut his eyes and connected with his mentor.

'Okay GM. You promised.'

'As you wish.'

A bright light filled the entire city. When everyone could focus again, all the damage had been reversed and all injuries were healed. The League found themselves fully reenergised and back at 100%. The crowd began cheering and Bardock looked towards them with a little smile. He heard someone cough behind him and he found the league a few feet away from him, looking at him expectantly. Most seemed grateful for his help but there were a few who looked wary and and a couple who had demanding looks on their faces. One of the latter, a man dressed in a bat costume, stepped forward.

"Who are you?"

Bardock narrowed his eyes and clutched his fists. the league tensed them selves taking this to be a sigh of aggression and possibly an attack when the boy just suddenly vanished. He had teleported using a technique called Instantaneous movement which the Grand Minister bestowed upon him as tool for his Time Patrol missions. It was a lot faster than instant transmission. the league quickly looked around to find him and Superman tried to find him with his super vision. But alas to no avail, for he was nowhere to be seen.

"What just happened?" asked Kara having spoken for the first time since the battle.

"Back to the Watch Tower." stated Batman grimly. "We've got work to do."
