AN: Hello my readers! Here we are with another Naruto crossover, this time with Fairy Tail. I would like to thank 'animedevilluvzyuri' and his/her story 'The Dragon of Night Raid' for giving me the inspiration to write this story.

The timeline of Fairy Tail is set after the fight against Alvarez, but without the dissolution of the guild.

The timeline of Naruto is set after the Fourth Great Ninja War.

I don't own anything except the OCs.

It all started one sunny day in the quiet town of Magnolia. We focused on the city's local guild, the most powerful guild in the entire kingdom of Fiore, the Fairy Tail guild.

Despite the fact that its members were considered strong and powerful, they were also considered somewhat crazy.

In fact, inside, most of the members were in one of the many fights that happen there, but we aren't going to focus on them, but on two members in particular who were in the middle of an argument.

"I tell you no and it's no!" declared Charle with her arms crossed.

"But Charle, I don't see the problem. I just want to go on a mission by myself." said Wendy.

"No way am I letting you go on your own. What if it turns out to be a dangerous mission?" asked Charle.

"It's not." began Wendy before showing a mission brochure. "According to the brochure, the mission is to guard some ruins until the archaeologists arrive."

"Still, I'm not going to let you do it." said Charle without changing her mind.

"I'm not a kid anymore. You've seen how strong I've become." said Wendy defending her stance.

"She's right."

The sky dragon slayer and the exceed turned their heads to the side to see Erza Scarlet approaching them.

"Wendy is stronger than she looks. I'm sure she can accomplish this mission with no problem." said Erza.

"You see? Even Erza agrees with me. Please, Charle, let me do this mission alone." said Wendy with her hands clasped together and making puppy dog eyes.

Charle wanted to stand firm in her decision, but she found herself unable to refuse that look. Besides, she had to admit she was right. She had been with Wendy since she hatched from the egg and in that time she could see how a girl who was clumsy and sensitive turned into a strong and determined child, willing to give her all for her friends.

"*Sigh* It's okay. You can do that mission alone." said Charle before Wendy grabbed her to wrap her in a hug.

"Oh, thank you, thank you, thank you. You won't regret it." said Wendy.

"You'd better. And be sure to let me know if any problems arise, understood?" asked Charle.

"I will. I'll go warn Mirajane." said Wendy before leaving Charle and running to report the mission she was about to perform.

"You were right to let her do this mission alone. It's an important part of growing up younger." said Erza with her arms crossed.

"I guess you're right." said Charle.

After briefing about the mission, Wendy left to accomplish it. Except for the train ride due to motion sickness, the rest of the trip was smooth and uneventful.

Wendy was now walking through a forest. Fortunately, it was still daylight, so it was easier for her to get her bearings.

"Let's see, according to the information, the ruins should be around here somewhere nearby." said Wendy.

After walking a little further, Wendy pushed some bushes aside and that's when...

"There it is!" exclaimed Wendy with a smile.

In front of her, there was a clearing filled with various rocks, some with engravings and hieroglyphs. In the center of the clearing and the rocks, there was an archway made of rocks with the same engravings.

"Very well. Now all I have to do is..." began Wendy before...

"Hold it right there!"

Wendy startled at the unfamiliar voice and turned to the side to see that there was another person in the clearing besides her.

It was a girl about her age who had a patch over her right eye while her left eye was cyan. Her hair was dark blue-purple and is tied in a short ponytail on the left side with a yellow ribbon. She was wearing a sort of black school uniform with a plaid skirt.

(For further reference, look at Rikka Takanashi).

"What the hell are you doing here?" asked the girl with the patch.

"Who are you?" asked Wendy.

"I asked first!" said the girl with a frown.

"W-Well I came to protect these ruins." said Wendy before pulling out the mission booklet. "Here's the mission booklet. I'm from the guild of mages, Fairy Tail."

"Oh, yes? Well I feel sorry for you, but you need to leave right now." said the girl.

"Why?" asked Wendy confused.

"Because protecting these ruins is MY mission. I've been hired for it." said the girl.

"Oh. Are you from a guild?" asked Wendy curiously.

"Of course I'm not. I move on my own." said the girl.

"So, wouldn't it be better to do this job together? Two are better than one." said Wendy trying to come up with a peaceful solution.

"I don't need your help for this. I can do it by myself." said the girl.

"But... But... But..." began Wendy trying to come up with another solution.

"If you don't leave on your own, then I'll have to kick you out myself." said the girl before starting to puff out her cheeks. "Water…"

"Wait, isn't that attack...?" began Wendy finding familiarity in that attack.

"Dragon's Roar!" shouted the girl expelling a tornado of water from her mouth heading towards the young dragon slayer.

"Sky Dragon's Roar!" shouted Wendy puffing out her cheeks and shooting out of her mouth a tornado that impacted against the water tornado, causing an explosion that made it rain a little.

"Don't tell me..." began the girl in shock at the kind of attack Wendy made.

"You are..." began Wendy also in shock at the type of attack the unknown girl made.

However, before anyone could ask anything, they began to feel something, something big, something disturbing.

"W-what's going on?" asked Wendy.

"Where is all this power coming from?" asked the girl.

Soon after, several hooded figures came out from between the trees and stood in front of the two girls.

"Well, well, well. Looks like we have some unexpected, but at the same time, interesting guests." said a hooded figure with a masculine voice and a sword draped across his back.

"Do you see him? Do you see him? I told you I saw it. Nothing escapes my sight. Hihihi." said another hooded female-voiced hooded woman with pigtails of cyan blue and pink hair.

"Will it be love or hate that has brought them to us?" asked another hooded one with a male voice and two buttons where the eyes are.

"Who are you?" asked Wendy.

"That doesn't matter to you. What should matter to you is whether you want to live or not." said another hooded man with a male voice and his arms were wrapped in bandages.

"Exactly. We feel you are very generous. So we'll let you live if you leave right away." said another hooded man with a male voice and with several pointed rocks sticking out of his body.

"I'm not going anywhere!" exclaimed the girl with the eye patch.

"Really? And what are you going to do in return?" asked a short, hooded man.

"In case you haven't noticed, we outnumber you!" said another hooded man who was more covered than the others.

Wendy had to admit he was right. There were seven suspicious guys with no good intentions and there were only two of them. Anyone else would have run away immediately, but she had a mission to accomplish and she couldn't fail.

"Hey." said Wendy getting the other girl's attention. "I know we got off on the wrong foot, but we're both on a mission to protect these ruins. So… truce?" asked Wendy.

"Hmm. I don't like working in teams, but I guess, if it's the only way to get my job done, I can handle it." said the girl.

The two girls got into fighting stances to fight the hooded men.

"So it's going to be the hard way, eh? Very well." said the hooded man with the sword. "Take care of them."

That made the others, except for the shortest one and the one who was completely covered, rush into battle.

"Demon Fist!" shouted the hooded one with sharp stones as his fist was covered in orange light.

The two girls jumped to various sides to dodge the attack, which ended up hitting the ground, creating a crater in the process.

Needless to say, Wendy was shocked by the tremendous force of that attack.

"Who are these guys?" asked Wendy in her mind.

"Hey! Don't hog all the attention!" said the hooded man with his arms wrapped around her before extending his hand towards her. "Sand Spears!" shouted the hooded man as parts of the ground turned to sand that began to float in the air and pile up to form several spears that were thrown towards her.

"Sky Dragon's Wing Attack!" shouted Wendy expelling two streams of wind from her arms that slammed into the spears, destroying them in the process.

The girl watched the sky dragon slayer's attack for a moment before turning her gaze to the hooded man with the sword, who was still standing in place.

"That must be the leader. If I defeat him, then…" the girl began, thinking about her next act, but then.

"What a pity. I don't notice much love in the air." said the hooded man with buttons in his eyes suddenly stepping in front of the girl, much to her surprise. "Bear Claws!" shouted the hooded man pulling out a non-human arm with sharp claws that glowed yellow before attempting to slash at the girl.

"Water Dragon's Tail!" shouted the girl covering her leg with water before impacting it against the enemy attack, causing them to push each other.

Before the girl with the patch went to attack, the hooded girl with pigtails stood in front of her.

"Hihihi. That looks like fun. Let me take aim." the hooded girl said.

The girl reacted to her trying to punch and kick the hooded girl, but she dodged all her moves as if she could see them before it happened.

"Hihihi. That won't do you any good. I can see your every move." said the hooded girl in pigtails before punching her in the stomach causing her to let out a gasp before being sent flying until she crashed into a rock that formed the stone archway.

"Oh no!" exclaimed Wendy in horror as she saw the girl in the patch in trouble.

"You're next! Demon Blast!" shouted the hooded man with sharp rocks creating a sphere of orange energy between his hands which he then hurled towards her.

Wendy quickly jumped to the side to dodge it, letting it impact the ground and cause a loud explosion.

Despite the situation, Wendy wasted no time in going to the girl's aid.

"Are you okay?" asked Wendy kneeling beside her, receiving a groan from her as she opened her eyes slightly.

"Oh, I feel a little love in that. Let me make it up to you." said the hooded man with buttons for eyes before lunging towards them as his non-human arm glowed with pink energy. "Love Fists!"

"Watch out!" shouted the girl jumping aside as she pushed Wendy, landing in front of the archway as the enemy attack impacted the archway.

Suddenly, that caused the engravings and hieroglyphs on the stones that formed the archway to light up, something that caught the attention of the three hooded men who stood on the sidelines of the fight.

"Boss, I don't think that's good." said the short, hooded man.

Despite his face being shadowed by the hood, the hooded man with the sword was horrified by what was going on.

"Stop!" shouted the sword hooded man, drawing the attention of those fighting.

"Why? Just when the fun part was coming!" said the hooded man with bandaged arms.

"That's not it. Look!" said the hooded man who was completely covered as he pointed his head forward.

Everyone, including the two girls, turned their gaze toward the arch, whose engravings were still glowing. Soon after, the hole in the archway was covered with a screen of light and before anyone could ask, a strange wind blew into the place in the direction of the light screen.

"Grab hold of something!" shouted the hooded man with the sword.

While Wendy and the girl in the patch grabbed onto two nearby stones, all the hooded men tried to grab somewhere, but the force of the absorbing wind was so great that they couldn't grab onto something in time and, one by one, they all ended up being dragged into the light screen, being engulfed by it on contact.

Wendy and the girl tried to maintain their grip, but the force of the wind was beginning to cause them to lose their grip.

Suddenly, the girl in the patch completely lost her grip and let out a scream as she began to be swept away by the wind, but before she could get any further, Wendy managed to grab her hand with her own while keeping hold of the stone with the other.

"Let go of me! If you don't, you'll be sucked in too!" she said to the girl.

"I won't do it! I won't let you go!" shouted Wendy, leaving the girl in the patch a little surprised.

Unfortunately, a short while later, Wendy ended up losing her grip as well and the two girls also ended up being blown by the wind towards the light screen as they screamed.

By the time they touched the light screen, they were completely engulfed until they disappeared and shortly after, the light screen disappeared, leaving the clearing completely empty of any other beings.

AN: What do you think of this beginning? What do you think of the first OC character I introduced? You'll get more information from her soon, especially about her magic. Until then, you'll have to wait. See you!
