Author pow:
Hello everyone, here is the Author speaking. Before you start reading it is necessary for you to read the following points in order to fully understand this story:
1. - I don't own Pokemon, Team Fortress 2, Bakugan, or any other franchise used in this fic. My ownership is limited to the story itself and OC's, unless specified otherwise.
2. - Story is written entierly on a phone by a non-naitive English speaker, so eventual grammar errors and mispeeling are going to eventually happen.
3. - Story begins in a first episode of Pokemon: Sun and Moon anime series (Aka. Season 20, Episode 1 of Pokemon anime series, assuming I got this right).
4. - Reader needs to have at least general understanding of Pokemon and Bakugan franchises as a whole, since it won't be explained at the general part in the stort. And while I know it's labeled as Pokemon x Bakugan crossover, there are still people who read only because they know only one used franchise, so I don't want to hear that I 'didn't say "x".' or 'I ignored "y".'. If you don't know a specific character/Pokemon/Bakugan/anything, then I advise to do a quick Google search, especially since I'm bad at explaining things.
5. - Move for pokemons who aren't established in canon version of Sun and Moon anime series will be taken from about every non-imaginary source possible (Preferably: Wiki article on their moves in Pokemon video games), so while I won't be giving them new moves I will take them from every version of them for variety and originality, so don't be suprised of a specific pokemon has moves you never heard of, they just had them in very few cases, but still had them and that's what matters to me.
6. - Not all characters outside of the ones already existing in Pokemon Sun and Moon anime will be portrayed with 100% accuraccy, mainly for a sake of distinguishing from eachother.
7.1. - Canonical/Original names of TF2 mercenaries (Such as Jeremy for Scpit and Mundy for Sniper.) will be reserved for the RED Team mercs, other teams will be given their own names by myself. And while the names won't be hyper-accurate, they aren't meant to be such.
7.2. - "Dawn Battles a certain Patriot" By Mister Prawn is roughly canon within this fic. Please check the video for the full context and the creator itself if you want. (Link: https//url?sa=tsource=webrct=jurl=https/m./watch%3Fv%3DS066fBxpEHQved=2ahUKEwiVwZCL7aD6AhVyiYsKHe3BCIQQtwJ6BAgIEAIusg=AOvVaw0Y0TDQfNbrrVyByefm6Rkq)
8. - This fic won't have any upload frequency. As for now, it's a filler for me to let out mine creativity so I can focus on other things.
9. - If you don't like this fic, than don't read it. I'm not forcing you to keep on doing so. If you like the fic but have an objection/question/will to point out mine mistake then write about it in review, but keep in mind that it has to be outside of things covered in other points.
10. - If you want to write/do anything on a basis of this fic, go for it! No need to ask me for permission or anything else.
If none of these points discouraged you to the point of leaving, then I can say the actual fic starts now!
Narrator pow:
"Now who's a little good boy? Who is he?" A happy male voice asked as a young boy with athletic body type, extremly short black hear hidden under a baseball cap and a pair of fierce blue eyes was bouncing a blue orb up and down in the rhythm to jumping full-brown Eevee, who sticked close to him before the boy catched the ball, put it back into the zipped pocket of his dark blue tracksuit and the two left the ship and walked down onto the pier of the Melemele Island's port. "Now, where are we..." The boy asked himself, taking out his smartphone and looked over the map for the markers. "Mhm, Pokemon School isn't far away. At least I don't pay for taxi." Boy smiled as he allowed Eevee to get catched into pokeball by jumping on it before picking it up and resuming the adventure. "Man, I'm sure glad I picked the sneakers back at this shady shop in Hoenn, otherwise I would have problems..."
(Two hours later):
"Heh, dumbass." The boy laughed as he saw a random kid basically being run over by a Tauros with the edge of his field of vision, himself approaching the entreance of the school. And while the school itself seemed to be a bit out of place, it surely fitted into the region's architecture. "Alright, let's get this over with..." He thought as he silently opened the door and entered the empty hallway that extended all the way to the classroom
"Now then, where was the principa-?" The boy asked himself, before looking to the left where a kid who almost got run over was seen walking somewhere with two girls and a Pikachu.
"Who are you?" Girl assisting the shorter boy asked first, while Pikachu bubbled something in confusion.
"Name's Volos Aiden, but please call me Scout. Just a random guy looking to apply into this school." The newcomer responded, presenting himself.
"And mine's Mallow! Also, that's Satoshi." Girls responded, pointing to her left.
"Hi there!" The boy added, while his Pikachu grunted happy before coming forward to greet him.
"Satoshi, huh? I heard a little about you back in Hoenn region, quite a trainer you are." Scout responded, before Pikachu caught his attention with adorably clueless look on his face. "And hello to you, yellow blitz." He smiled, giving him a short pat on the head before his ears caught some grunting from nearby doors. "Anyways, I think the Principal is busy, you go first and then I do my stuff."
"Sounds good, see ya later!" Mallow responded, pulling Ash by the arm as the duo plus Pikachu went past him and into the Principal's office.
"Oh well, might aswell use the while to check on Eevee from safety." Scout said to himself before taking his pokedex and checking Eevee's moveset. "Tackle, Double Kick, Iron Tail, Bite... And a Body Slam, the most recent one. But I should change one of them for a Rain Dance sooner or later... Hey now soldier boy, why should I? I won't be using the two together after all." He corrected himself, ending the topic before he did something about it, his hand firmly holding into his pockets just in case. "But now to come think of it, after I become a fully qualified pokemon trainer I will be using the two together... Naah, not now. It's still to early." He let out an empty sigh, checking his surrounding and not noticing anyone expect three curious-looking kids with black shirts with skulls and pokeballs attached to their pants while Mallow and Satoshi stormed out of the principal's office and went deeper into the school without noticing him.
"Sweet, I thought ya' stick to urban enviroment with those antics." Scout sighed again before moving his back up from the wall and walking out of the school to encounter them.
"Hey, you! Fight us!" One teenager in the middle of the trio called out, shouting straight at Desmond while his two companions stepped on the side to give him some space.
"Sure thing pal! You aren't very intelligent judging by the looks..." The boy smiled deviously, making the trio very cross.
"Ohhh, you're gonna regret messing with Team Skull bro! Go Rattata!" The boy in the middle shouted again, taking out his pokeball and unleashing a dark, oversized rat.
"You heard him! Let's do the same!" Second one added, taking a pokeball on his own and releasing his Gastly.
"Fine, we'll beat this kid fair and square." Third one nodded, allowing his Phantump to join into the battle.
"Looks like it's my lucky day, I was already getting bored." Scout smiled, taking his pokeball and looking over three opposing pokemon. "Time to smash, Eevee!" He added as he opened the ball and released his companion to face the trio.
"Really? This one doesn't even have a fur!" One of Team Skull grunts commented, pointing out Eevee's lack of white fur around the neck and consequent to this Y-shaped tail without the white part in it.
Fur? You are just a bunch of freaked out morons, even by my standard." Scout sighed as he looked down at his relatively motivated pokemon. "Eevee, Body Slam please." He said with dry, emotionless tone as his furball rushed forward at aach speed and rammed into Aloan Rattata, sending him flying into the sky.
"Gastly! Lick him!/Phantump, Tackle!" Two remaining grunts shouted, as their fighters of choice rushed forward to squash their opponent.
"Jump with barrel roll Mumbles!" Scout shouted, as his Eevee saw what was coming and leaped straight into the air, making two ghost pokemon collide with eachother and lose spacial orientation. "And now, Double Kick with Iron Tail!" Blonde trainer added with a confident smile, as Eevee fell down and delivery a solid kick for each of the opponents before slicing them wide open with his shining tail. And althrough both of these pokemons weren't exacly hurt due to being ghosts, they did suffer a knockout which prevented them from dematerialising before the following hits.
"Oh come on! How is this possible?" The central Team Skull member asked, confused about their loss while Volos casually took out two pokeballs he had in store and catched both Gastly and Phantump with no effort.
"Hey! Did no one told you stealing is bad!?" Other one shouted at Scout, raging over the abduction of his partner.
"You also weren't taught that, so it cancels out." The boy in tracksuit responded with unamused face as Eevee backed down to him. "Also, you don't deserve to have them. Especially if that's what you use them for." He added before turning to the right and seeing Ash with two taller man casually walking back from somewhere else. "Now get lost, unless you want my buddy to use Bite on you."
"... Whatever guys, we won't do much against him now." One of Team Skull members said with relucant face, turning around and grabbing the other two by the collars. "Now let's go find new pokemons and do something else."
"Whad do we learn? I always win!" Scout laughed with pride before taking his Eevee back into the pokeball and turning around where a bunch of kids woth various sizes and two grown-up adults seemed to witness his fight. "Ow crap." He added lifelessly, also seeing Satoshi, his Piakchu, two other athleticly built young boys, Charizard and Turtonator joined the group.
"Alola to you! I guess mine Eeveesivedropping wasn't uncalled for, what a smashing performance!" The oldest man in the group, a plump man with white hair and black eyes said, stepping forward from the crowd to encounter him. "Name's Samson Oak, I'm the Principal of the Pokemon School."
"Scout, but real name's Volos Aiden." The boy responded, cracking up a forces grin.
"I've heard from Mallow that you wanted to attend my school, is that correct?"
"Basically... Yeah." Scout responded, checking on intsinct if his pokeballs, smartphone and blue balls were in place.
"Well, it's that you want! Because this school is for everyone." Professor added, sending him a kind smile.
"So... I'm in?" Scout asked, partially dumbdounded by what was happening.
"Yes you are! The first lesson starts tomorrow so you have still time to prepare." Mallow added from the side while the group as they all came closer to him.
"Well, um, thanks!" Volos said, feeling a little troubled with the level of attention he was given. "Anyways, I'll met ya tommorow, I still have things to organize before the day comes. See ya' tommorow!" He added before sprinting away at impressively high speed.
"See you too!" Mallow called back, being the only comprehensive greet he heard before he lost the sight of Pokemon School behind him as he arrived at the outskirts of Hau'oli City. There, he quickly jumped into the air before connecting the second jump and landing on top of a lone tree and then taking off to travel hidden within the thin treetops and bushes.
"Preparing to use that dial tone again?" A smug-sounding voice with strong french accent sounded on his smartphone, not having to be accepted by the Scout as he was busy with jumping.
"Go to hell Spy, Engineer still haven't called me." Scout responded, looking forward as he spoke and leaped between the trees.
"He didn't wanted to be recognized in case RED Team tried to follow you." Spy explained, following it by a sound of ignited cigarette. "Now go and prepare for tomorrow, you know the locations." He added before ending the connection.
"Yeah, you're all busy with your... Busyness." Scout sighed as he switched his jumping target from trees to buildings upon entering Hau'oli City. "At least the rooftops are always flat, useful when I need to get to the base." He thought, coming closer and closer to his destination that was a highest floor of a tall communal flat in a city center.
BLU Engineer pow:
"Sorry for the encounter back at Badlands Region, RED Team always goes as hard as they can on neecomers." I said, as I and a petite girl named Dawn were in a middle of a friendly talk during our cruise to Alola.
"No problem, I was asking for it." She replied, trying to hide her nervous appearance.
"So that Torterra wasn't yours?" I asked her, somewhat confused about the whole situation she was in back then.
"A person similar to you allowed me to take it after I realised I left all of mine pokemon back at home with Mum. I still don't know what I was thinking..." Dawn sighed, explaining this part to me.
"Hmm... Other pokemon..." I thought, dlowli realising a oeculiar detail that I previously dismissed. "You're the daughter of Johanna from Twinleaf Town, aren't you?"
"Well, yes. And the one willing to follow her footsteps."
"Well, that's funny. Especially since my boss was geniuenly aroused by few of your performances."
"Heheh, thanks." She responded, barely making me avoid her blush.
"But now back on topic. You have experience with pokemon?" I asked her, trying to diverge back on the main theme of our conversation.
"My starter Piplup, Buneary, Pachirisu, Mamoswine, Quilava and a Togekiss. This plus several others I had temporary in the past for shorter ammounts of time."
"My, my, quite a team for a pokemon coordinator" I chuckled, as I reached to one of my pockets and grabbed my Aquos Stinglash." Well, I can't give you a pokemon... But a lucky charm syraight outta Badlands won't hurt." I said to her as I handed over the bakugan into her hands.
"Umm, thanks. But why?" She asked me, somewhat confused about my action.
"Well, we. won't be sticking with eachother since you seem to have better things to do here than walking behind me." I responded, fooling her around my approach. "Besides, you don't have any pokemon at your disposal so this is has to work for a time being." I added as I saw our ship arrive at the docks of Hau'oli City. "Now, however, I need to go do some stuff, see ya next time!" I added before I jumped over the railings on the side of the ship and landed on top of the pier, casually leaving the place before anyone could call me a reckless idiot.
"See you too!" I heard Dawn reply behind me, quite a sweet one in fact. And while I could just give her my Magnemite or just a stack of money, Spy wouldn't like me giving away our funds so I had to act on the borderline in a diffrent way. I mean hey, it's not like she learns how bakugans work quickly, right?
