Notes:

Oh My God, the new book is here! I am a complete psychopath, and I have written the first chapter already, and I'm sure you're all glad tho.

Well, anyway, updates are probably not going to be quick, but I'm glad I got at least one chapter out there. This book is going to be really epic, so I hope you all look forward to the upcoming chapters, and I hope you enjoy everything that comes.

I like to drag stuff out, so I'm just letting y'all know. I'm dragging this story out for a while, so while it's going to be exciting, it's also going to be slow going. Also, I think I've started to world build a little bit, and yeah, that's just going to add to the slow dragging of the story. But not unbearably slow, so y'all good.

The world seemed to change recently; maybe it was the change in climate or maybe even the fact that the bees were disappearing. Or maybe it was something older than that. Maybe the earth was telling its inhabitants that a change was coming, that something big was about to happen. Maybe that's why all those who were connected with nature trembled in fright because this never happened before. Well, not that anyone would be alive to remember it happening the first time; not even Merlin was old enough to remember.

The earth had called out like this once before when the King was born... so was this a sign of a dark time, a time of great need?

When the King was born, a magical massacre followed. Will it happen again? Is this the warning? Is a massacre as great and as foul as the Great Purge soon to come?

Or is it finally time for when Albion's need is greatest?

Will our King rise again?

"This is so exciting!" Sam exclaimed.

"I mean, I dreamt of this even in Russia. Hogwarts is world-famous. I always wanted to come. I can't believe I can visit whenever I want now." Sam continued excitedly.

"We can't visit whenever we want, Sam, only for business." Gideon sighed, standing next to the jittery girl.

"Same thing." Sam waved his argument aside.

"Why did we have to come again?" Julius asked, wrapped in his jacket and scarf; it was a bit chilly for it only being September 1st.

"Because we have to set up in the school for Myridian and S-ah-James, as well as you guys getting the opportunities to teach and even recruiting the talented ones for the business," Remus answered, huddled with everyone else, he was getting looks, but they couldn't say anything, not with Myridian and Sirius glaring daggers at anyone who looked at him wrong.

But he wasn't the only one getting stares; they all were, as they had no child with them, and they were all clearly too old to be attending. Also, for the fact, the Myridian was pretty famous and elusive. Also, they recognized Sirius, though he was in full disguise, so rather they recognized James Emrys from the single interview Myridian held to introduce him into the world.

"I'm so grateful to be able to sit down with you, Mr. Emrys. I'll tell you this now, but everyone is just so curious about you. And your business, of course." Rita Skeeter exclaimed.

"But I must ask, who is your friend you've brought with you? You have an uncanny resemblance to each other." Rita asked her notepad at the ready while the camera flashed a few times.

"Yes, well, that was why I finally agreed to do the interview. This is my elder brother, James Emrys." Merlin pointed to Sirius and motioned for him to sit with him.

"Hello," Sirius said politely, but he didn't particularly like Rita Skeeter after she said bad stuff about Harry in the paper last year.

"Well, it's so nice to meet you. But I'm curious, which one of you is the heir to the Emrys fortune? I would assume the elder brother, but I'm not paid to assume; I'd rather hear it from your mouth, haha." Rita said, trying to lessen the tension, but it did nothing.

"The Emrys fortune is big enough that neither of us has to fight for it. Though if we are on the topic of an heir, I would suppose that is me." Merlin said, neutrally, he knew these questions were going to be asked, but it didn't mean he had to like it.

"Really, how interesting. Is there a reason you were chosen over your older brother?" Rita dug deeper.

"Not necessarily, my brother traveled a lot ever since he was young, and since I was the sedentary child, my family picked me. Nothing more, just out of convenience." Merlin explained with their predetermined backstory.

"Oh, all right, then about your business, what made you so fascinated with muggle technology, and how did you make magic and technology mix?" Rita asked equally as curious about this as about his personal life.

The addition of muggle technology to the wizarding world was a very big hit globally. Even though there was only one shop at the moment in England, the idea and what Merlin had created had reached every corner of the globe already, at least in wizarding circles.

"Well, one day last year, I learned about muggle technology and all the advances they had made, and I was curious as to why us wizards and witches were so far behind muggles. We, our society, is seriously so outdated, almost like we're stuck in the middle ages with some of the things we do. I thought it was high time that someone tried to mix magic and technology, and I figured out how to do it. Now, I will not go into telling how exactly I did it as that is company secrets so just know that any more questions about that will unfortunately not be answered." Merlin finished.

"I see, I see, well no worries, you can keep your company secrets to yourself. I do understand this is a business, and I understand it's also booming for you. Now that you have your store that is doing extremely well in Diagon Alley, I was curious are you going to branch out to other countries, or is this going to be globally available to all wizards or just in England?" Rita asked.

"Well, I am in no way opposed to branching out globally; however, we just started business; no matter how well it is going, it will take time to branch out over different countries. We are considering opening another store however that will also take some more time. However, the reason I wanted to do this interview is I had some information I wanted to share. Rather than branching out my business through new stores and going to different countries, we have decided to help the younger generation adapt to the new technology. After speaking to Albus Dumbledore, the Headmaster of Hogwarts, we have agreed that we will be teaching a muggle technology information course at Hogwarts." Merlin announced.

Rita Skeeter was shocked; she did not expect to get such juicy gossip and such amazing news, but it was exclusive just for her. Since she knows nobody else knows about this was going to be the biggest scoop of her life.

"Well, I have to say you surprised me, Mr. Emrys. I mean, I didn't expect Hogwarts to offer you a job so soon after your company was created. Of course, I understand how many students actually own technology now, as it could be useful in school, but I didn't realize that you had so much free time while managing your business that you could teach full-time throughout the year." Rita said.

"Well, truth be told, I do not have a lot of free time. And unfortunately, most of my colleagues are needed where they are. However, this is not the case for my older brother James. He is very well versed in technology, better so than me at using it, and we have agreed that he will be teaching class when I am not available as well as assisting me when I am available to teach." Merlin explained.

Rita Skeeter turned suddenly to James with a new light in her eye as she was getting ready to question him about his new position when Merlin stood up.

"Mr. Emrys?" Rita queried.

"As we talked about, I'm quite busy, and that's all the time I have for the interview. Please excuse my brother and me; we have lots of work to do before we get to Hogwarts and start teaching in September." Merlin said as he and Sirius walked out.

Leaving Rita Skeeter confused at first and then grumpy that somehow they left without her getting all the little juicy bits of information that she really wanted. But she was satisfied with this information; it was a pretty big scoop.

September 1st, 2006

They were quite the weird bunch, huddled by a post. Six adults just standing there waiting for the train. They could have just gone to Hogsmeade and then went to Hogwarts that way, but Sam really wanted to experience the train ride, and so here they were. Also, Sirius wanted to see Harry before they got to Hogwarts. None of the children knew yet that James was Sirius.

They were planning to tell them, but they wanted to shock them and surprise Harry with some good news. So that was another reason that they were traveling by train. They didn't have to wait long as the train was due in a few minutes. But they were also waiting for the Weasley's and Harry to come as Merlin didn't see them yet. Luckily they didn't have to wait for long because in came Harry and Ron along with the rest of the Weasleys and Hermione. It took them a minute to notice Merlin & the gang.

"Myridian?" Mr. Weasley asked, walking over.

"Hello." Merlin waved, walking forward.

"What are you guys doing here?" Harry asks as the train pulls into the station.

Everyone's attention turned to the train pulling into the station, as it was very loud and suddenly a bunch of people started talking, saying goodbye to their children, some children were crying as it was their first time leaving to go to Hogwarts. A few children tried to board the train before it stopped and got in trouble.

"Ah, I guess I should let you know; Dumbledore asked me to teach at the school about muggle technology. How about we continue this on the train." Merlin suggests.

"What?!" Harry, Ron, and Hermonie screeched.

"You're going to be teaching at Hogwarts?" Hermoine said.

"Yup, let's continue on the train," Merlin suggested again, he'd love to stay there and chat, but he didn't want all of them to miss the train.

As the crowd was slowly dispersing, The kids said bye to their parents and boarded the train along with a group of adults that got a lot of stares from children who didn't expect them to actually walk onto the train with them.

Once they all got settled in their own compartments, the kids traveled to Merlin's compartment and suddenly realized Merlin was not alone and that there were more people in the compartment than just Merlin and Remus.

"Oh. Um, nice to meet you; I'm Hermionie Granger." Hermionie introduced herself to everyone.

Ron and Harry followed her introduction more meekly. It was a bit awkward because nobody knew each other.

"Allow me to introduce everyone. Harry, Ron, Hermionie, these are my coworkers at my store. This is Sam," Merlin said, pointing to Sam, who is waving enthusiastically at the three kids.

"This is Gideon," Merlin pointed at Gideon, who was less enthusiastically waving his hand.

"This is Julius,'' Merlin then pointed to Julius, who just slowly nodded his head as he was taking off his scarf.

"And obviously, you know Remus. And last but not least, this is James Emrys." Merlin said, pointing to Sirius, who was smiling really wide on his face since it was mirroring Merlin's face.

It looked really sincere and nice, but if he were to do that with his own face, it would've looked a bit creepy.

"Emrys?" Harry asked.

"Oh, yes, sorry for the late introduction; let me introduce you to my older brother. He's been away traveling the world and only recently came back home. He will be teaching with me because sometimes I'll be a little too busy to teach the whole semester." Merlin explained.

He would've told the kids that this was Sirius; however, there was more than just the kids in the compartment, so he had to play along with the fake, made-up backstory.

After that, it was just funny stories about Hogwarts. Basically, Sam asked Hermione 1001 questions which she was happy to answer. Most of it from then on was just fun conversation and a little more explaining about what was going on and why they were all going to Hogwarts for me to then we're going to be teaching. Eventually, all the kids left back into their own compartment, and the school was coming up in the distance.

Unfortunately, they couldn't have a chance to meet back up as they were separated on the carriages to Hogwarts while the first years went to the boats. Sam definitely tried to sneak with the first years onto a boat before she was caught by Remus and scolded. Unlike the students, once they got off the carriages, Merlin's and the company went to the classroom so that they could unload everything they brought and set it up how they wanted it. Merlin also expanded the office room when nobody was looking so that even though not everyone would be teaching here at the same time, there would be enough room for everyone to have their own little section whenever they did visit.

They spent the rest of the time leading up to dinner setting up and exploring. They were all invited to dinner. Of course, there was not enough room at the teacher's table, but Harry and friends welcomed them to join them. Even though Merlin and Sirius had to sit at the teacher's table, all the kids were staring at the new people both at the teacher's table and at the Gryffindor table. Everyone was curious about who they were. Some students recognized Remus, and a few people recognized Myridian from the shop. But everyone else is a complete mystery.

Dumbledore quieted everyone down on their gossiping and chit-chatting and gave a semi-long speech that led to him introducing all the new professors this year. It wasn't just Merlin and Sirius who were new; apparently, also a new potion teacher was hired, a Mr. Slughorn, and Snape ended up teaching defense against the dark arts. All the students oooo'd, and aaaahh'd at Merlin and his gang of coworkers.

Most of the students had magic tech. The only people that didn't own any were purebloods, who are anti-muggle, and it's also why this class wasn't mandatory. It was an elective that you could choose.

After dinner was over, everyone had to go home other than Merlin and Sirius. Remus and Gideon literally had to drag Sam back.

And that was the end of a hectic but exciting day.
