Two days have passed since Chaldea's expedition to the 4th Singularity in London. Ritsuka Fujimaru, Humanity's last master, and his trusted friend & Servant Mash Kyrielight had another difficult adventure like they'd had before in the previous 3 Singularities. But in this one, they'd laid witness to Solomon's incredible power and had been powerless to stop The King of Mages directly. Although they'd done their duty and fixed the 4th Singularity, they only survived the brief encounter because of Solomon's mercy. If they wanted to fight him again and at least stand a chance, they'd need to increase their power at Chaldea significantly.
That's why Ritsuka was now at the door to the Summoning Chamber, to hopefully summon another powerful Servant. Another to aid them in their journey to stop the destruction of human history at the hands of the King of Mages.
Door-servos whirred as the door opened and Ritsuka walked in. He smiled as soon as he saw the room's occupants, Mash had been near the door's entrance and turned around to greet her Master.
"Good evening Senpai!" She said cheerfully with a smile. She was wearing the armor of her first ascension as she waved at him.
"Good evening Mash." Ritsuka replied as he went to stand next to her. "Are you ready for today's summoning?"
"Yes, everything's been prepared." She said as she gestured to her shield at the center of the room.
"Nice to see your manners are still intact Ritsuka." Romani Archaman said from across the room with a smug smile. He was sitting on a seat with a desk and laptop in front of him to aid with analysis during summoning and had a woman bearing the beautiful face of the Mona Lisa standing next to him, Leonardo Da Vinci.
"Hah. Good evening Doctor Roman, good evening to you too Da Vinci-chan."
"Good evening Ritsuka." Da Vinci replied with a smile. "I hope your magecraft lessons with Medea went well today."
Ritsuka shrugged. "Being an amateur mage sort of slows the learning process for me, but I'm learning how to improve with everyday."
"That's good to hear. Remember that if you ever need help to learn more, Me and my wonderful intellect will be here to assist however possible." She gestured to herself with beaming pride.
"Thanks Da Vinci-chan, I appreciate it." Ritsuka said, nodding in thanks.
"We're all good here to begin. We can start whenever you feel ready Ritsuka." Roman said as he straightened his back a little.
"Understood Doctor." Ritsuka said and began walking to stand in front of Mash's shield.
He sighed as he stopped just a few feet in front of it. He hadn't conducted a successful summon since he got back from the 4th Singularity. He hoped today would be more fruitful. He took a breath, extended his right arm where his command seals lay, and began the incantation.
"Let silver and iron be the origin. Let the stars and the archduke of contracts be the foundation. Let Finis Chaldea be the banner to which I give tribute..."
He started reciting it while keeping his voice calm and firm, just as he had done so many times before. Though the only difference now was that he did so feeling a little desperation.
The ritual circle began to appear, golden motes drifted up as he reached towards the Throne of Heroes to bring about his new Servant.
"Here is my pact: My will creates your body, and your sword creates my destiny. If you heed the Grail's call, and abide by my will and purpose, then answer me."
Blue and golden light started to shine from the ritual circle and he started to feel a new source of mana coursing through him. That's when he knew; this is going to be a successful summoning.
"Here is my oath: I shall uphold all the good in the world. I shall stand against all the world's evils."
The shining of blue and gold quickly turned purple and black and a strong wind began to enter the room.
"Thou seven heavens, clad in the three Words of Power, from the circle which guards the World, Come forth, guardian of the balance!"
Bright purple began to shine before quickly subsiding along with the wind. Ritsuka looked at his right hand as his command seals started to beam bright red before the light quickly died out and his magic circuits began to relax. Mash's shield now laid on the floor in its normal state and the room's newest occupant finally came into view.
Ritsuka noticed an armored figure with purple and black colors mounted on a black horse with clean white hair, deep red eyes, its body covered in armor and a piece of cloth with red at its end, and a bone like mask. They held a black lance with red spikes varying in size running alongside it. He blinked for a second astounded before looking at the draconic features of the Servant's helmet, and finally realizing who exactly he had summoned.
"I ask of you..." She began, looking at him, her voice serious and firm. "Are you my master?"
Mash had stepped closer to him, but it seemed to him that she didn't care, her gaze firmly on him.
"Yes, I am." He answered, displaying the command seals on his hand. His lips had formed a line as he returned her stare.
Her lance vanished into golden mist and she began to dismount from her horse. Now standing, she took a step forward and began to take her helmet off. A sound could be heard as the sides her helmet extended slightly, she took her helmet off and laid it between her left armpit. Her face now revealed, he began to recognize her features. Her skin was pale. The back of her hair looked like a bun and two short strands of hair from the sides of her head fell below her shoulders. She had blonde hair, like her original self, but pale. Her eyes were a light golden yellow. She had a stern expression as her lips formed a line.
"Lancer, Altria. I have been summoned upon your request. Just as my beloved horse can swallow the thunder clouds, my spear will break through every rampart. I will crush everything that stands in your way." She proclaimed to him. "This I swear."
Ritsuka began to smile again. "Thank you Altria, my name is Fujimaru Ritsuka, a master here at the Chaldea Security Organization. This is my servant, Mash Kyrielight." He gestured towards Mash who now stood next to him. He then pointed towards the two other occupants. "Over there, is Doctor Romani Archaman, our acting director. Next to him is Leonardo Da Vinci, another one of our Servants here at Chaldea." Everyone waved their hellos as they were introduced.
"Glad to have you onboard here with us at Chaldea Altria." Mash said happily.
"My horse is called Llamrei." She said petting the back hair of her horse's head, making it start to neigh. "I hope you have powerful foes for us to crush, Master."
"We do. Here at Chaldea, we're on a mission to protect Proper Human History and prevent its destruction at the hand's of the King of Mages, Solomon." Ritsuka replied.
A small smile formed on Altria's lips for a second, before coming back to a line. "Then I look forward to being of service to you, Master."
Author's note: Hey y'all, Bluestream here. This is my first time writing a story so I hope you all enjoy this and the next chapter. I haven't seen many people write a story about Ritsuka and Artoria Lancer Alter, so I I decided to do one myself and I hope to inspire some people to do the same. The first two chapters will be out the same day and the next one will be somewhere around early next week. College starts soon for me so I don't have a schedule for each release, but I hope to publish a chapter at least every one or two weeks. Please do leave a comment on your thoughts for each chapter. I would really appreciate the feedback. Hope you all have a wonderful day.
